    Waffle special with two eggs
    Zaidelirys S.

Came here after a doctors appointment. We were able to be seated right away and our server took care of us quickly. It is set up like an old diner, very open and bright. We ordered a waffle special, which normally comes with one egg so I got an extra egg. My husband got the Benedict's. Everything came out in a timely fashion, and the food was well balanced and had good flavor.

The restaurant is located off PGA Boulevard in a busy strip mall. We were meeting for a late breakfast and wanted to choose a comfortable place to meet. The restaurant resembles a traditional old-time eatery with comfortable seating, The service was excellent and my omelet that I ordered was particularly good. The menu was large, which is common for a dinner style restaurant. And the service was similar, fast, and friendly.

Cozy setting for a brunch; it met my expectations with crispy home fries and bottomless coffee.

My friend kept gushing about his perfectly cooked, over-easy eggs from this cafe, so I had to go. It's true that many restaurants and diners are not consistent with their eggs, making them either runny with the whites undercooked, or too well done with no runny yolk. We went on a weekend morning, but it wasn't crowded as it was 8:30 am only. Our server was really great -- funny, cheery, and helpful (I wish I had gotten her name). I ordered a Florentine omelet and added green peppers to the Swiss, tomato, and spinach it comes with. My friend ordered the Western omelet, but we specifically asked that the omelets not be overcooked. We didn't want them to be brown on the outside as that means overcooked and dry. The server said not to worry. Well-done home fries and Rye toast were my sides. It was all very good, and the omelet was steaming hot, which I love. I find far too much tepid food served in restaurants. Hot, hot food makes a big difference in my experience. The portions were good and I boxed up a half to take home. Notes: No bottled water, so my table mate walked next door to Trader Joe's to buy a bottle while waiting for our food. That's another plus -- you can shop afterwards. No real maple syrup. Our server said she regularly pushes for the them to get the small bottles, but so far no change. You can always walk to Trader Joe's for that too.

Amazing service, Nicky was so sweet and attentive. The food here is delicious and made well. The bacon egg and cheese on a roll is to die for and the egg benedict's hollandaise sauce is delicious. The restaurant can be busy at times but there are usually tables available. I will be coming back.

Cute little local spot. They have breakfast and lunch. Seems like a regular stop for locals. I got a chicken salad sandwich on wheat with their homemade coleslaw. Breakfast two eggs over easy Home fries cheese grits and bacon. Honestly, the food was fresh but just ok. Great music and staff was nice.

For what it is, this place is pretty decent. The food was hot and service was good. They were very busy on the weekend but we didn't have to wait to be seated. The French onion soup is great and I'd highly recommend it. The breakfast itself was nothing special and pretty plain. At least the bacon was crisp. The French dip was good but I prefer mine more rare and this was medium well. It was dry like brisket too. At least the au jus seasoned and rehydrated it. I'll come again if I'm in the area and in the mood for breakfast or lunch. Although I am sure there's better restaurants for a higher price.

Flamingo's provides a pretty standard breakfast in Palm Beach Gardens. It was Nicole's first day waitressing and she was PHENOMENAL. The food was good, but nothing made it exceptional.

So only a few blocks away let's try it . You walk into a clean and well spaced out area . Self ordering platforms when you walk in the door . At first I was reluctant but saw it was fast had pictures of the item you want plus additional items at no cost I ordered a stuffed omelette with coffee and sourdough toast . You select a table number your going to and they. Ting your order to you . A very cute girl with a big smile brought me out a large ceramic coffee mug with a nice deep flavored coffee . It was perfect . By the time I added cream my Omelet was also on its way and I could see the steam coming off it as she was carrying it up my table . Again absolutely perfect and exactly what I was craving for . You know when you get a great meal you just eat it slowly and savory every bite . Well next time your around PGA stop in and see my new friends at Soil good . You will not be disappointed, whether a great cup of "big " coffee or a beautiful omelette breakfast. I haven't had the opportunity to try anything else yet but I have a good feeling everything on the menu is good . I wish I had taken a picture as the presentation was as nice as the meal .

I appreciate a good menu with photos! They have a very nice coffee bar and feature different specials. I gave the iced latte with strawberry cold foam a try. It was topped with adorable heart shaped marshmallows. I don't eat them but I very much appreciated the presentation. My brother isn't a huge coffee buff so he ordered a Diet Coke. They have a self-service water station with cups as well as to-go containers available for grab and go. Menus are available either hard copy or via QR code. They offer table service but one must go to the counter to place their order. They also have a rewards program but one needs to download the app to utilize. The dining room is very large and well structured. They appear to use environmentally friendly products. The women's restroom was clean and the venue is kid friendly. One clever aesthetic I noticed was the border of the archway on the way to the restrooms. It's a bookcase with various cubbies filled with books. The dining room is large and open with booths, a counter top, and tables. The booths are very spacious. A view of the kitchen and front counter is available. Their logo is an avocado and a coffee bean just in case you're wondering. I couldn't figure out the bean. Lol The menu is vast with a lot of great options but in the end I selected the Soul Good breakfast which consists of sourdough toast, avocado, smoked salmon, roasted tomato, homemade baked beans, grilled mushrooms, and two eggs of your choice. I opted for scrambled well done. This breakfast is more costly than the others but also is enough for 2-3 meals depending on your appetite. I loved the variety this meal offered. My brother enjoyed a breakfast sandwich. In the end, it was a great choice! The menu is vast, the coffee and meals were good, the restaurant is clean, and the staff are friendly. I look forward to visiting again soon and trying something else... possibly the poke. If you're a matcha lover, their creations looked good.

The lady in the front said she had to leave to do some personal errand. I thought to myself how odd and figured I'd come back another day. Wish I didn't. I eventually went back, ended up spending $35 on 2 sandwiches and a smoothie that was watered down. It tasted like watered-down milk. Honestly, for $9 you could go to Tropical Smoothie, get all the health benefits, and it tastes a million times better! The sandwiches were dry and tasteless. They completely re-did their menu from what it used to be, which was awesome by the way. I don't know how this place stays in business . I called to complain and get my money back, which I did, with no help from the new owner, Chad. I called 3 TIMES before I finally got him on the phone. It was obvious he was dodging my phone call! Not good business practice Chad! Frank, the old owner was much nicer, and much more accommodating. Chad was rude, condescending, and didn't even let me speak. Not a good way to run a business. Did I mention that the lady served me a side of fruit with pickles?? Pickles... MIXED IN WITH THE FRUIT. WHO DOES THIS?? Wouldn't go back if the food was free. The only good thing I could say is that the woman in the front, Kate, was very kind and helpful.

From the sweet pretty blonde hostess to the server and the staff, it just feels like there's an energy there. I also don't usually get into food. I'm not a foodie - I'll spend a lot for a good meal, but I generally don't get too excited about many restaurants. I'm excited about this one. if you're gonna go there for 1 meal, get the MEXICAN STREET CORN and the CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. We always get the corn and our server even gave us little wet naps to clean up with (clutch). And I absolutely love their CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES - three warm large chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk which was only maybe $10? Crazy - I've also heard happy hour is amazing but I work and can never get there. This time I got the SEAFOOD SAUTEE and it was one of the best seafood dishes I had. Looking back, I'd recommend asking to replace the potatoes with shrimp if you can. They were so good. Our server Natalia was great and said the shrimp is from Argentina.. My wife had the PORK COLLAR - I thought it was good but I didn't think it was as good as my seafood. Our daughter had the burger - really solid and she couldn't finish it. Bonus for Dad. The last thing I would say is that this place isn't gonna be for everyone because it's noisy - probably because the bartenders serve great drinks! There was one woman at the bar that was laughing incredibly loud (uggg) but the staff couldn't have done anything about that. If you want to go there and have a really quiet sort of like laid back meal or you get triggered easily or something - SIT OUTSIDE. Otherwise, you're gonna hear music, people talking, laughing, and having fun. That also makes it great for families - we had a couple of kids sitting right beside us. So this is one of our favorite restaurants now in the Palm Beach Gardens area. Highly highly highly suggest you check it out get but GET A RESERVATION - this place is busy. I hope this helps!

After a quick Yelp scroll, The Daily Grind popped up with a 4.7 rating and over 100 reviews, so we took the chance--and I'm glad we did. You could easily drive past it. It's fairly non-descript, tucked in next to a car wash just off PGA Blvd. But inside, it's exactly the kind of place coffee people hope to find. About a dozen folks in the shop, indoor and outdoor seating, vintage rock band tees on the wall for merch, and an eclectic, laid-back vibe that feels intentional rather than curated. One guy behind the counter--clearly the owner--was fully locked in, making a sourdough egg and avocado toast and a cappuccino. No rushing, no distraction. When he finished, he looked up, smiled, and invited me to order. That moment set the tone. I ordered a flat white, and you can taste the passion immediately. Perfect milk temperature, balanced proportions, and clearly dialed-in beans with the right brew time. This is someone who respects the craft. I ended up stopping to thank him--not just for the coffee, but for taking a moment to chat about the business and for genuinely making us feel welcome. There's also a covered outdoor seating area with a large screen, which makes it an easy place to hang for a bit rather than grab-and-go. Great coffee, a cool little shop, and an owner who clearly cares. If you're anywhere near Palm Beach Gardens and need a quality coffee stop, this place is absolutely worth pulling over for.
