This is one of the best spots ever created I would love to give a shoutout to the amazing staff that is here at this location. They have not only supported and attended to all the regulars here, but they always show so much kindness and positivity to those around. The ambiance is really cool and chill, a great place for studying or to grab a coffee with a friend. Service was fast and my barista/cashier was nice. I haven't had the chance to try their food yet, so I have another excuse to come back XD I tried their hot peppermint mocha and it is really good, not tongue burning hot, which I appreciate. On our way back, we decided that we wanted to stop somewhere for coffee. We looked it up on yelp and found this coffee place two hours surprise they had open mic starting at 7:30 PM on Saturday not only the staff was extremely friendly but the place is very modern and love the decor. We ordered a latte, an americano and a blueberry-lemon scone. Coffee was amazing and the scone delish. We really enjoyed the open mic session - great local talent! Will definitely go again when I am in the area, sad it's not that close to home. read more

So amazing!!!! Coffee was delicious and the pumpkin cranberry scone and pumpkin cheesecake bread were so so good! The other scones were good, but not as good. Pleasantly surprised by this place. Went in for breakfast as an alternative to the high priced one at a nearby hotel. They had a good selection of breakfast sandwiches that were not the typical fare. I've stopped in this coffee shop a few times and it's always been good... coffee and food are good, place is cute, and parking is easy. The last time I came in, though, it was super busy, busier than I've ever seen it and, since it's the holidays, there were a lot of out-of-towners and families, it seemed... not the easiest clientele. I just want to give some credit to your staff for handling the crowd in such an efficient and professional way. One young woman, Ryan(I think), kindly took care of customers and orders that would have made me lose my mind and she still managed to execute some beautiful latte art on my coffee! Terrible Coffee, really bad microwave quality food with very limited choices, overpriced, and the only size of coffee they have is the size of a tall coffee from Starbucks. This place is the worst phony coffee shop I've ever been to, when you walk in because of the ambience you're expecting it to be like some kind of amazing coffee shop like you would find out west or something. I've come here to Harbourside for years and have enjoyed doing so. Things were different today. The one barista never smiles when waiting on me and I jokingly comment that she should put a smile on her face. Thinking she would laugh, I was shocked to receive a stern lecture why she did not appreciate my comment and it was not doing anything to help our relationship. Help our relationship? I responded that there are many coffee places here and people appreciate a pleasant welcome, etc. I walked away only to hear further comments. I've watched her and notice that she almost always smiles when serving female customers. Anyway, I guess its time to go elsewhere because I cannot hope that the other always friendly baristas are working. Sorry. read more

Subculture Coffee has retained its place as a destination coffee place. They've got great coffee and sweets but it has character. You want to meet friends there and it's comfortable. The bacon quiche and chicken empanada is amazing. I enjoyed the decaf latte and I also got a vegan banana chocolate chip muffin which is out of this world. I was here when the doors opened this morning. The cash register wasn't working but the young lady working was very kind and allowed me to order anyways, explaining I could pay once she got it up and running. They don't have all the items in stock that the main location in West Palm Beach has but it is a nice atmosphere and the food I ordered was delicious. The building is big, baby blue and beautifully decorated with coffee beans across the top. They must roast on site because the property is huge. It didn't even pop up on Yelp so I'm musing on the Jupiter location's page to post this review. Service was great. Ambiance was nice. I felt cozy and welcomed. It was clean and bright. There is outdoor seating and a drive thru (oh la la) but we chose to walk in and sit inside. Coffee beverages were fantastic. Smooth roast came through in the cafe au lait and my flat white was perfect. The food was just as nice as you'd want it to be. Seemed like "homemade" egg bites (not pre frozen) with descent flavor for a coffee shop that's not a cafe. I'm attempting to make good choices so I avoided the sweet carb-heavy ever so tempting pastry items. Little mixed greens with oil and balsamic was a perfect accompaniment to the egg bite. I took pics/vids of the other food items, the merch, the pastries, etc. I loved hanging out at this spot and I will use it as an excuse to visit Lake Park on a more regular basis. About a dozen folks in the shop, indoor and outdoor seating, vintage rock band tees on the wall for merch, and an eclectic, laid-back vibe that feels intentional rather than curated. One guy behind the counter--clearly the owner--was fully locked in, making a sourdough egg and avocado toast and a cappuccino. No rushing, no distraction. When he finished, he looked up, smiled, and invited me to order. That moment set the tone. I ordered a flat white, and you can taste the passion immediately. Perfect milk temperature, balanced proportions, and clearly dialed-in beans with the right brew time. This is someone who respects the craft. I ended up stopping to thank him--not just for the coffee, but for taking a moment to chat about the business and for genuinely making us feel welcome. There's also a covered outdoor seating area with a large screen, which makes it an easy place to hang for a bit rather than grab-and-go.
