Oceana Coffee Roasters - Counter with coffee related goods for sale

Oceana Coffee Roasters

**New Location: 1301 10th St., Lake Park, FL**…read more I am so pleasantly pleased with the decision to go to Oceana Coffee Roasters in Lake Park today. The building is big, baby blue and beautifully decorated with coffee beans across the top. They must roast on site because the property is huge. It didn't even pop up on Yelp so I'm musing on the Jupiter location's page to post this review. Service was great. Ambiance was nice. I felt cozy and welcomed. It was clean and bright. There is outdoor seating and a drive thru (oh la la) but we chose to walk in and sit inside. Coffee beverages were fantastic. Smooth roast came through in the cafe au lait and my flat white was perfect. The food was just as nice as you'd want it to be. Seemed like "homemade" egg bites (not pre frozen) with descent flavor for a coffee shop that's not a cafe. I'm attempting to make good choices so I avoided the sweet carb-heavy ever so tempting pastry items. Little mixed greens with oil and balsamic was a perfect accompaniment to the egg bite. I took pics/vids of the other food items, the merch, the pastries, etc. I loved hanging out at this spot and I will use it as an excuse to visit Lake Park on a more regular basis. Check them out and you'll be pleasantly surprised! Another review giving it to you straight no chaser. Enjoy!

**INITIAL REVIEW** I…read morewill admit that Oceana Coffee (which I will shorthand simply to Oceana for the remainder of this review) was a stop I made by happenstance. On this day, I was having an adventure at both John Dickinson State Park and the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum. However in between both locations, I made a stop for coffee. And fortunately for Oceana, it was highlighted as it is one of the coffee shops recognized by the Florida Cafe Passport. I had to go in and try their coffee... and I am glad I did. Though an address is provided, Oceana is located on the south end of the 150 Fashion Mall (that is what the strip mall is literally called). For subsequent visitors, this would not be a problem, but if you are going anytime close to my review, take note the mall is still open despite all the renovation. Prior to entering, Oceana does have an outdoor seating arragement with simple chairs and tables and a couple of plants for some decor and color. However, I went during the summertime in Florida, which meant it was too hot to stay outside. Inside, the vibe is definitely a mix of the love for the oceans and Australia. As a matter of fact, Oceana is a part of the Pacific Ocean that is close to, you guessed it, Australia. Makes sense if you ask me. Though roomy, Oceana definitely packed the space for maximized seating. Some of the chairs are tight squeezes with other chairs. Take note of that if you are of a bigger size such as I. The coffee selection is delicious, but seems limited in order to keep the staffing to just one person behind the counter at times. The food selection is also a bit small but once again, utilized for a one-person staff. I ordered a meal, dessert, and coffee: brekky sandwich, chocolate croissant, and flat white. Starting with the brekky sandwich (which is Aussie for breakfast sandwich), it is your simple egg, sausage, and cheese on English muffin. Comes with a balsamic vinnegerette salad. Good but a little pricey. As for the croissant, I got that because the Florida Cafe Passport suggested their "French food." However, the croissant is the only French thing they have... well from what I saw. It was good, but the "French food" was kinda lacking. Finally, the coup de resistance, the Flat White. I love Flat Whites and they did a phenomenal job making this one. I would definitely rank this up there in flavor. They pretty much stuck to the formula and did not stray. Get that right, you'll always get my praise. Ultimately, my time at Oceana was a-okay. What really rounds it out is the waitress/counter girl. She did everything on her own and was very kind. She even helped me pick stickers to purchase since I am a sticker collector, and luckily for me, Oceana has official stickers, many of them actually. Ultimately, I am going to give this mom n' pop coffee shop that was featured in the Florida Cafe Passport my highest rating for a mom n' pop: four out of five stars. The fifth star is always for consistancy and if they are consistant, I will give it to them in an updated review.

After a quick Yelp scroll, The Daily Grind popped up with a 4.7 rating and over 100 reviews, so we took the chance--and I'm glad we did. You could easily drive past it. It's fairly non-descript, tucked in next to a car wash just off PGA Blvd. But inside, it's exactly the kind of place coffee people hope to find. About a dozen folks in the shop, indoor and outdoor seating, vintage rock band tees on the wall for merch, and an eclectic, laid-back vibe that feels intentional rather than curated. One guy behind the counter--clearly the owner--was fully locked in, making a sourdough egg and avocado toast and a cappuccino. No rushing, no distraction. When he finished, he looked up, smiled, and invited me to order. That moment set the tone. I ordered a flat white, and you can taste the passion immediately. Perfect milk temperature, balanced proportions, and clearly dialed-in beans with the right brew time. This is someone who respects the craft. I ended up stopping to thank him--not just for the coffee, but for taking a moment to chat about the business and for genuinely making us feel welcome. There's also a covered outdoor seating area with a large screen, which makes it an easy place to hang for a bit rather than grab-and-go. Great coffee, a cool little shop, and an owner who clearly cares. If you're anywhere near Palm Beach Gardens and need a quality coffee stop, this place is absolutely worth pulling over for.

Everything from food, drink, service, and ambience was incredible! This cafe has easily become my favorite place and it makes me so sad that we don't have one in Cleveland. Review cont. below: There's enough parking in the lot. They even have a designated spot for electric vehicles. Upon approaching the seed, it has a few seating options outside with tall umbrellas and menus on the windows which is so helpful so you can figure out what to order before getting in line. The aesthetic inside is beautiful. Lines can be long but move fast. Drinks were perfect! I got a strawberry crème matcha and an all razz on me, energy drink. The new kicks drinks came out yesterday so I was excited to try. I also tried two of the Paradise Sliders and omg I'm obsessed so yummy! Service crew were really friendly and efficient! No long waits for drinks or anything, even with it being busy. I will be coming back as much as I can while I'm visiting! The only things that were inconvenient were that there overall wasn't a ton of seating. They do have booths inside but they are right next to the line of customers so it looks tight. Thank you seed for such a treat!

I ordered an iced coffee with cream, and it was given to me without cream. When I asked for it, she frowned, which didn't feel great as a customer. Also, not everyone prefers stevia -- having other sweetener options would be nice. I also purchased an egg sandwich on a croissant that was pretty overpriced, and when I got it to go, it wasn't heated through. It feels like everyone wants to be the next Starbucks, but customer service and quality still matter.
