Not sure where to start. Quick Friday noon coffee/lunch break with wife. This place wasn't too impressive to me. Outside wasn't kept very clean/neat. Outdoor windows were very smudgy, leaves all under the tables. Inside was very dreary to me and cold feeling. The table seating felt more like a lunchroom rather than a coffee shop. To the food. I order the sausage biscuit and they were out of it at 12 noon. Not a good look. Then I ordered the egg and bacon bagel. It tasted like a microwave sandwich. Also ordered the Caramel crumb cake and was surprised with a piece of apple in it. Overall disappointed with the experience and will not return. read more

This is likely my last visit to Crux Coffee Roasters as I am here to move my Dad back up to Pennsylvania. I will miss this place most of all. Wow this place is so good for all coffee needs. It's a bit of a drive for me but I was in the area since I had to drop off a friend's gift. And we decided to meet here. It's her family's favorite coffee shop and I can see why. The drink I ordered was perfect. I was highly impressed they had pumpkin flavor that is usually not the case for most coffee shops in the summer time. So my pumpkin latte made me very happy. And my friend enjoyed her frappe as well. They have a nice seating arrangement within as well. We got to sit and chit chat while we enjoyed our drinks. They did have food options but we didn't order any at this visit. Oddly corporate decor for a small roaster. Friendly service, fair prices, and an insane selection of beverages and food. Not sure if you can call it a coffee shop or a restaurant. But let's focus on the cappuccino. Very pleasant espresso shot with just the slightest hint of acidity. Smooth, earthy, and just robust enough to stand up to a little bit of milk. Perfect milk to espresso ratio, but the foam leaves something to be desired. If you're a fan of dry caps, you'll love this. I am not. The foam was way over-whipped. read more

this coffee shop has a really cool, creative concept behind it. i was a little overwhelmed by it at first, with all the different coffee options on the menu -- not to mention so many snacks and baked goods to choose from. just think about it like drinking around the world, but with coffee: choose your country, and the menu will tell you what to expect. i only began drinking my coffee black this year, so appreciating the taste of the guatemala coffee was a new experience. i can't describe it better than the menu already does: sweet notes of chocolate, orange, and creamy caramel. i was skeptical about the combination at first, but it was truly a step up from the different nespresso flavors i'm used to. very much worth venturing out and paying a premium coffee price for. the place itself is also perfect for getting some work done. i stayed for a few hours and ended up also getting a honduras coffee, their only decaf on the menu. for a decaf, it was surprisingly good and true to the menu description: notes of dark chocolate malt. now that i'm re-reading all the descriptions, i'm excited to go back and try the rest of the coffees from around the world. maybe one day i'll end up visiting the country i pick as my favorite! insert pikachu face if it ends up being america, though. read more

I was looking for a coffeeshop in Jupiter, and Crux looked interesting! It's a roastery and a coffeeshop, which always intrigues me. The menu is EXTENSIVE. I actually had to step back to look at the menu for a minute to decide what I wanted. The barista was patient and answered all my questions. I settled on an iced caramel latte and the strawberry lime cilantro avocado toast. This place is definitely spendy, so be prepared for the sticker shock when they tell you the price. I found a table quickly and was surprised at how clean everything felt! My toast took longer than expected, which was fine because I was going to hang out for a while. When it arrived, it was absolutely insta worthy! A dark drizzle of balsamic complimented the bright red and green of the fresh fruit. I wish my mouth felt the same way my eyes did. The bread itself was soggy, likely due to the immense amount of balsamic vinaigrette pooled on the plate. A little bit would have been an amazing flavor alongside the lime and cilantro, but I had a hard time tasting anything but the vinaigrette. I ended up throwing away about half of it, which made the price even more painful. My coffee was ok, but honestly not great. Lots of cream and caramel, not much coffee. I figured for a roastery they would want to show off their tasty coffee. Overall, I probably wouldn't be willing to spend that amount of money on a mediocre meal again. read more

Not a big menu, but I really liked the bacon and egg croissant; it was warm, flaky and not too heavy with ingredients. Tasted great with a hot americano coffee. Another good item today was the Sausage waffle biscuit; it had sausage and cheese in a fresh crumbly biscuit with touch of honey sweetness. I think this is my favorite local coffee shop in the Jupiter area! I've been just a few times but every time my coffee is perfect! I love the iced vanilla latte. The store is always clean. The baristas are all very kind and patient. Their prices totally beat out the other coffee shops and chains. The only wonky thing about this coffee shop is that the pastries they sell are off in a side display. It would be nice if they were more prominently placed. I always forget that they're even there! Important to note: it's a $5 minimum to use a credit card. My large iced latte only comes out to $4.50. read more

The people at the counter need some caffeine to wake up, they are so quiet a d honestly if you try to go outside the menu they look confused. BUT the coffee is REALLY good. I got a large iced mocha, first I love they don't fill the cup with ice and then do the coffee. Overall the coffee made up for the lack at the beginning giving this a 4 star. Loved the feel of this place!!! As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by a large coffee roaster going about the daily roasting of the beans!!! You literally have to take a minute and admire its beauty, in person, if you will. The vibe is super chill and ultra relaxed! Plenty of seating and lots of work space to create your own teleworking or study session environment. Totally out of my element since I had never been here before but an avid coffee aficionado, I opted to ask the gentlemen behind the counter what he commended. I like that he doubled back and asked me what do i typically like in a roast bold, medium, light etc. After the mini coffee taste buds interview I went with the Ethiopian Cold Brew, mainly because it was flashing on the screen above him on the menu board as we were talking so it kept catching my eye and it was one that he mentioned and highlighted as one of the flavors. Bold, very bold and was enough to give me that extra kick in the espresso arse I was looking for. They do have some treats as well, pastries, macaroons and I also saw they make acai bowls (duly noted). We opted for a cinnamon roll which was fabulous and some macaroons which were j/a... just average. They will not let you BYOC (bring your own cup) but I was okay with it since it was my first time. If I was a regular I would be a bit peeved because it takes away my choice to do my part to reduce waste. You also have to have a minimum charge of $5 to use your credit card which may not always work for some, especially if your hearts desires at the moment are $4.50 lol. I can see this scaring folks away no matter how good the coffee is. Overall, this place wins solely for the aesthetic welcoming you feel as soon as you enter. If ever back in the area, I would definitely venture back to taste another cold brew or nitro brew option they have on tap. read more

My absolute favorite coffee shop! The owners are the sweetest and the beans are roasted on site. I moved up north, but making a stop here on my trips down south is a MUST. They have amazing espresso drinks, single origin pour overs, and multiple cold brew options. Their food options are also delicious, especially their blueberry muffins and acai bowls! This was a very nice cafe with clean restrooms. They have a roaster and I thought that was so neat and worth checking out one afternoon while visiting my mom in this area. The coffee was okay, I ordered just a soy latte iced. It was good and fit the bill. I saw that they have a lot of varieties of coffee and even noticed they had Jamaican blue mountain coffee (that's tastey stuff). The staff was seemingly uninterested with me though. There was only one other customer waiting at the end of the bar for his order and then there was me and then three people behind the counter serving. The lady that took my order seemed like she just didn't want to be there or just was at the end of her shift, not sure, but it felt unwelcoming. Then I forgot to ask for decaf, and I asked her if my drink was in the process of being made yet and if I could change that to decaf. She shouted over to the barista and ensured that mine would be decaf and went about her business. The barista never looked up to greet me, but there is glass and equipment in the way. It seemed cold from a customer service perspective. The seating area looked nice, the roaster looked neat, and it was okay coffee. I don't think I will be back, but it was fun to try something new. read more

The coffee shop was nice. They have a great selection of coffee and I enjoyed the flavor. They are antiquated and created a poor experience that overshadowed the good coffee experience though. When ordering the $4.75 black coffee I went to pay with Apple Pay and they informed me that I would need to spend $5 to use a card and asked if I had cash. Like most I never carry cash. Ever. So I was forced to ether buy something else or leave coffeeless. In todays market, and when paying $4.75 for a coffee businesses need to work not to antagonize their customers. Raise the price of the coffee to your desired minimum charge or just drop the minimum charge all together. Make everything in the store $5 min and no poor experience. No discussion. No forcing someone to make a decision to leave or have coffee. If we couldn't afford $5 we would go get gas station coffee. For small merchants the credit card fee is between $0.14 - $0.23 for a $4.75 charge. Is $.14 - .23 worth leaving a customer with a poor experience? Loved the cup of coffee, however I will go to Subculture or Perk or any number of other boutique coffee joints before I would come back and support a company so short sighted that they still force customers into these type of decisions. read more

Very friendly barista. The coffee was delicious. The only negative concern are 1. I specifically asked the cashier that i wanted my late for here since i was going to consume it at the coffee shop.
