**INITIAL REVIEW** After I finished my work for the week, I thoroughly enjoyed my Friday exploring out and about around Jupiter, FL. Though I have been out before, there is still plenty to explore, plenty to enjoy, and plenty to learn about. Given how much I have been doing, it would happen I would need a Cup of Joe along with some good cafe-style treats. This is where Oceana Coffee comes in. Not only was it on the way to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum (where I would have my fun today), but it was featured in the Florida Cafe Passport. I have to say, I am very happy the passport took me here. For starters, the coffee was on point, and the food was great, but Trisha was the one who pulled it all together for a first time experience I truly enjoyed. Though an address is provided, Oceana Coffee (which I will simply shorthand to Oceana for the remainder of this review) is located in the Fashion Mall a 150, on the west side of US-1 halfway between Jonathan Dickinson State Park and the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum. Right now, the strip mall is going through an overhall on its awning, but all the stores are open. Oceana is located at the southern part of the strip mall. There is some seating outside, but it was way too hot to sit out in the Florida humidity. Upon enterining, the ambiance is that of an upscale coffee bar blended with Aussie and ocean themes. The pictures of sea turtles on the wall compliment the ocean hues as well as the furniture being themed from sea port wood but upscaled in style. The coffee and food selections were simple and the Cafe Passport did not help. Ergo, I had help from Trisha, the beautiful lady working behind the counter that day, to help me decide. Ultimately, I realized the owner must be an Aussie with all the Australian slang used. The Flat White was prepared "Fair Dinkum" style, and they had a "Brekky Sandwich." Definitely got both of those as well as a chocolate croissant because the one suggestion from the Florida Cafe Passport was the "French-style breakfast." The pictures will detail my food offerings, but I will say it was very delicious. And to top it off, Trisha was right on top of everything. While I was doing computer work, there was a rush and she was the only one at the counter. She handled herself very well. After all of that, she even helped me choose some stickers for purchase... which I ended up getting five for my sticker book. On a sidenote, there is one unisex restrooma and one women only restroom. I kind of find that smart as women do take twice as long as men to use the restroom in general. And the unisex restroom was clean, too. Overall, this was a fantastic outing at one of the coffee cafes I've been wanting to go to. If I am around and about the area, I will definitely go back if I want more coffee, and of course hope Trisha takes care of me again. read more

On our last trip, we tried the Sumatra roast coffee, which was OK but this time we are going to try Bali moon. I look forward to seeing how that turns out. On a drive north from South Florida , I found this location of Oceana on Yelp. We stopped at a different coffee shop down the street, (different company), however, due to my experience with the cashier I left without purchasing coffee. My experience at Oceana was great! I ordered an iced latte and a chocolate croissant. Both were delicious and just what I wanted. The best part though was my interaction with Brandon (not sure if that's the correct spelling). He greeted me when I walked in and was very personable during my visit. It was a pleasant surprise, he was polite, took the time to have a conversation, and made a perfect latte! read more

Meh experience. Inattentive and checked-out servers. I asked if they had free refills for mug coffee and they said yes. Then charged me $1.

A bright, comfy cafe that is perfect for a quiet work sesh or a morning coffee chat with friends/family. There is a private room that can be rented (would honestly be a wonderful service and local perk if they allowed people to reserve the room at no cost), as well as a spacious main room with a very comfy couch. It's not usually busy and seating has never been an issue. There is some outside seating as well. Staff is friendly. Prices...eh. They're charging just as much as every other cafe that has for some reason skyrocketed their prices to hard-to-swallow and a bit ridiculous amounts. It's coffee...but I digress. They sell their own brand of locally roasted coffee that people stop by to take home. There is also local art work displayed for sale This shop is a bit of a drive for me, but I love the vibe and love supporting local. A definite staple! read more

The coffee shop is tucked in a corner of a strip mall with available parking. The cozy and comfortable atmosphere is good place to read or relax with friends. Ok I gave 2 stars to be nice but unfortunately this is a 1 star review. We got 2 mochas 1 iced and 1 hot, but both were not right. The batista said it was her second day, which is OK, but I asked if anyone could help her since it was her second day and both drinks came out wrong. When I asked her, the manger or another staff member yelled from the back room that she does have help, but didn't ask if there was anything that they could help with. Been here about three times over the last two years. I have had tried a lavender latte which is pretty good and other times a latte with oat milk. Love the lavender latte! Gives you a slight relaxation feeling! They have inside and outside seating with comfy seating inside to hang out and enjoy your coffee. Never tried any food items. read more

A month or so ago, I visited the other Oceana Coffee location (with the roasting house) and had a disappointing experience. I'm thrilled to report that THIS Oceana Coffee location is AWESOME! This Cafe/Lounge is on the building's corner; thus, light pours in from both sides of the L-shape's almost continuous large windows. I felt comfortable and welcomed as soon as I entered. The seating is vast and open, with lots of space for movement. Like its companion cafe, there is a toy station in the corner, but at this location, children were actually using it! Their little voices and playing were charming but not overwhelming, since there was so much space for them. The barista was super friendly (thank you!). I ordered regular coffee, dark brew, and I took the time to drink it in the store. I usually don't EVER notice a difference between different coffee types (except for instant coffee), but this coffee was notably delicious! It was toasty and rich. I wasn't expecting that, since I found my previous cup at the other location forgettable. There were only 2 baked items left at noontime. Good for them, kinda sad for customers. Beer and also Kombucha was on tap. Cool! Fresh flowers in vases on each table was a nice touch. The music was cool. Apparently they have events at night: trivia, painting, open mic, etc. I'm excited that Tequesta can support this kind of activity. I will definitely return to this Oceana Coffee location, as it is perfect for a comfortable hangout with friends or as a workspace. Also, it is just a few doors down from my favorite children's consignment store, Forever Young. And that coffee was good stuff! read more

I was traveling through town and stopped at this place. Very cozy place to sit and relax with strong coffee.

Something was genuinely wrong with the coffee... maybe the milk was sour? I wish I could un-taste it. Service was friendly but they were clearly stoned. Hopefully they will be more vigilant about the quality of the milk/cream in the future. read more

So this is the closest thing to a Seattle coffee shop beside the place in Harbourside. We have been coming in for a 2 years or so and we love their coffee. They have such great blends, their beans are fresh, and they are consistent no matter who is manning the bar. I love that they make a "real" flat white and my wife loves their lattes. I would've given them 5 stars, but their other products are a hit and miss. Some of their bakery items muffins & quiches are really great and sometimes they are super bland and just aren't fresh. The main issue is their Iced Tea it used to be amazing and super flavorful. Now it is is not good at all and the last two times it was so weak it barley had any flavor. Today it tasted like someone had forgotten to clean out a coffee container and just poured the ice tea in it. So it tasted like a gross awful mix of ice tea and bitter coffee. I would've just emailed them but they have no contact info expect to call. There isn't a point to call and complain to the lady who made my drink. Hopefully it will get better. read more

The coffee here has got to be the best in surrounding area. It always tastes smooth, never bitter. It ranks right up there with the fancy pants coffee in San Francisco & Seattle. The pastries are perfect in texture and really tasty. Whenever I have a visitor in Tequesta, I suggest Oceana Coffee for delicious coffee in a pleasant atmosphere.
