    Korean Pork Ribs Caesar Salad
    Ryan L.

My wife and I went to Palm Beach to catch a minor league game and stopped at The Cooper for lunch before the game. Our waitress Sophia was very sweet and was knowledgeable of the menu. We started with the Caesar salad with the anchovies, which was absolutely delicious and the Korean ribs (gluten free) were phenomenal. I was telling my wife I am going to want those ribs again soon. We also got the lobster roll on a gluten-free bun, it was a good balance of mayonnaise, celery, and onion and a lot of lobster. We got it with sweet potato fries, which were very good. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and very welcoming.

Great spot for a lunch meeting!! The bang bang shrimp and strawberry salad with blackened chicken was super yummy. The service was lovely and we had a trainer who will be amazing.

Yum! Came here w some ladies for lunch, the concierge at our property recommended it. It was very cute and quite tasty. Server was nice, restrooms were clean. Wanted a burger, ordered The Cooper one w bacon and garlic aioli instead of secret sauce. I added bacon and upgraded to truffle fries. I was hungry so it took me biting into it to notice my bacon was missing and I'm a huge truffle fan, and the fries didn't taste like it was present. The server said the parsley wouldn't have been on it otherwise but I know the truffle taste and it wasn't present. Our server brought me a side of bacon and truffle oil. After that life was good. Burger was perfectly cooked. Flavorful and juicy. My friends enjoyed their salmon meals as well. Staff was kind. While I would come back, it's not at the top of my list. Foods very good but nothing so different or rare that it couldn't be replicated. I appreciated my experience nonetheless.

Went here for the 2nd time for a friend's bday get together and a little Christmas gift exchange. Our part wasn't huge but it wasn't small either. They were not super busy but service was slow. Even though the service was slow, our waiter was super nice and patient. Even once we sent drinks back because apparently the bartender decided not to use any alcohol whatsoever in our drinks. We exchanged for wines and beers (can't mess those up). This spot always has a nice comfy setup with rustic tables and comfortable chairs. My food was good. I went for the Cooper burger with sweet potato fries. Most of us got burgers (they have some of the best burgers in town). I also had some cheesecake and a tiramisu. Both delicious but the tiramisu was the clear winner. All in all it was a good time the food was good .. the service was ehh but with a good attitude and the bartender last night was not the best at all. I would return.

This was our first time visiting The Cooper with friends. The exterior was inviting. We had a reservation for brunch, and we were seated quickly. The furniture was comfortable. Our server, Chloe, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The music was a little loud for conversation, but they kindly turned it down. The lighting was good for reading the menu. We ordered starters including the Carrot Muffins, Korean Short Ribs, and pancakes. The carrot muffins were good and came with whipped honey butter. My husband liked the short ribs. He said they were really good. They were a little spicy. My friend thought the pancakes were ok. It took a long time to get our entrees. It actually took about 90 minutes start to finish. We ordered Biscuits & Gravy, Mussels, The Cooper Breakfast, and an Omelette. My husband liked the biscuits and gravy, but felt that there was not enough gravy with them. I had a large portion of eggs, although they were a bit dry. My friend enjoyed her mussels. The meal was good, but the wait time was really long. The bathrooms needed cleaning as well. If I came back, I would probably try the dinner menu.

We had the brick roasted chicken, Jerry's bacon wrapped meatloaf and a side of the truffle Mac and cheese. My brick roasted chicken was unfortunately pretty overcooked and quite dry. It was also under seasoned. 1/5. The mashed potatoes served with it were really yummy though and the broccolini was good. Jerry's bacon wrapped meatloaf was okay. 3/5 The truffle Mac and cheese was yummy. 4/5

We came here for happy hour and received the best service from Drew. The food was great, the drinks were flowing and we were well taken care of. I will definitely be back!

The food was well prepared, fresh, and delicious . Lots of vegetable choices . The server Morgan who is new and really tried her best to make us happy with our first dining experience at The Cooper . The ambiance was cozy and upscale . Liked sitting inside on the comfortable couches at the tables

    Nice bar

The Cooper has come back from its rather dim days, post COVID. The bar is quite deep, and excellent. V, one of your bartenders, is exceptional. The food has improved BUT, you need to avoid the days that the chef is off. I came on a Sunday early evening, and it went from magic to tragic. The cauliflower appetizer that's coated in a sweet, lightly spicy sauce? Not covered at all. Sauce at the bottom. The bartender, that day, had to go back and do it himself! Embarrassing, chef! Still, when the clowns aren't in charge of the circus, and someone is actually supervising what goes out, the food is very good. I would love to give this place a 4-star but the lack of consistency in the food put out is the achilles heel of this restaurant. The interior is well appointed. The big outdoor patio, which has its own bar, is perfect for season. It's a nice place to have a meeting, grab lunch with a friend, or have a nice evening out... As long as chef is in the house. If there is a tiny, polka-dotted clown car in the parking lot, and you hear a lot of brass horn honking and wheeeee whistles coming from the kitchen? Come on a better day.

So only a few blocks away let's try it . You walk into a clean and well spaced out area . Self ordering platforms when you walk in the door . You select a table number your going to and they. Ting your order to you . A very cute girl with a big smile brought me out a large ceramic coffee mug with a nice deep flavored coffee . It was perfect . By the time I added cream my Omelet was also on its way and I could see the steam coming off it as she was carrying it up my table . Again absolutely perfect and exactly what I was craving for . You know when you get a great meal you just eat it slowly and savory every bite . Well next time your around PGA stop in and see my new friends at Soil good . You will not be disappointed, whether a great cup of "big " coffee or a beautiful omelette breakfast. I appreciate a good menu with photos! They have a very nice coffee bar and feature different specials. I gave the iced latte with strawberry cold foam a try. It was topped with adorable heart shaped marshmallows. I don't eat them but I very much appreciated the presentation. My brother isn't a huge coffee buff so he ordered a Diet Coke. They have a self-service water station with cups as well as to-go containers available for grab and go. Menus are available either hard copy or via QR code. They offer table service but one must go to the counter to place their order. They also have a rewards program but one needs to download the app to utilize. The dining room is very large and well structured. They appear to use environmentally friendly products. The women's restroom was clean and the venue is kid friendly. One clever aesthetic I noticed was the border of the archway on the way to the restrooms. It's a bookcase with various cubbies filled with books. The dining room is large and open with booths, a counter top, and tables. The booths are very spacious. A view of the kitchen and front counter is available. Their logo is an avocado and a coffee bean just in case you're wondering. I couldn't figure out the bean. Lol The menu is vast with a lot of great options but in the end I selected the Soul Good breakfast which consists of sourdough toast, avocado, smoked salmon, roasted tomato, homemade baked beans, grilled mushrooms, and two eggs of your choice. I opted for scrambled well done. This breakfast is more costly than the others but also is enough for 2-3 meals depending on your appetite. I loved the variety this meal offered. My brother enjoyed a breakfast sandwich. In the end, it was a great choice! The menu is vast, the coffee and meals were good, the restaurant is clean, and the staff are friendly. I look forward to visiting again soon and trying something else... possibly the poke. If you're a matcha lover, their creations looked good.

12:30om, 3/18/2026…read more Ambience = Steady, lunch crowd in the bar. Yet not phonetic or chaotic. Good, chill vibe. 4-5 high top tables for two. At the bar- nice personal space and hooks for purses. Nice place to perch my feet and store my obnoxiously long golf umbrella. Perfect atmosphere for a chilly, rain date lunch with spouse. Balance of business professionals, "ladies who lunch", and a few couples. The bar reminds me a of nicer Las Vegas resort hotel bar. One TV showing Golf TV. Food = We've eaten at J.Alex since their soft open moons ago. The dishes are always consistent quality. Today hub's was jonesing for a French dip. I was craving their Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich. We both order their shoestring fries. We're slowly enjoyed each other's company and our lunches. We immensely enjoyed our meals. Service = Good. Our bartender didn't offer his name, and we weren't on our game to ask his name. However, he did a good job. He quickly came over and put down black napkin placemats with napkin rolled utensils and offered water while we skimmed the menu. Beverages were served quick. Food order quick and complete. We never had to ask for extra sides as he brought them all out with the meals- ketchups (If you like an abundant serving, ask when you place your order. They use small 2 oz stainless steel ramekins.), horseradish sauce, a side of blue cheese (to dip my fries in ), and my Nashville hot sauce on the side. Check came quick too. We ask and learned that they do not offer a Happy Hour. However, they offer very large pour martinis with a side car waiting for you for the price of one. He said late afternoons they have very happy and loyal regulars! We've been dining at "J.A." since their soft open many moons ago. They have always offered well trained staff. We've been here as parties of two, parties of up to 8, and as times with infants, to toddlers, to elementary school age peeps to seniors who many need a little extra consideration with seating. J.Alexander's has always offered great service. However, for some with low vision may find the back of the restaurant a little dark. Bathrooms are clean. There is an outside, screened over bar area as well. My extra bullet points: Value = Yes! High quality, consistent food, great staff and fair price for the experience. The BIG question: Will we return? Yes! We are every other month "regulars". During COVID, they were able to pivot their business to keeping their doors up keeping people employed and offered service to the community. HIGH GIVE! We'll be back. Cheers! Tip: Be sure to make reservations especially during holiday weekends, PGA golf classic weekends and "Season" for tables. If they're booked, Bonefill Grill is directly next door as "back up". Get there early for parking as the lot fills up fast for dinner with several restaurants sharing the same lot. Perfectly located between 95 and TPK, for family dinners if coming from PSl or South county or Broward.

Everything from the ambiance to the food and even the service was phenomenal. Great dining room area with both an outdoor and indoor bar. We sat with the bartender AB that immediately greeted us with waters and their menu. They are currently running a pick 2 for $15.99 menu that has some pretty great options. We had 2 meals & chose the wings, blackened shrimp po boy with the small gumbo's. Wings were super crispy, juicy, and tender. With a nice light Smokey taste. They buffalo and blue cheese sauce was actually pretty impressive. The po boy had a good amount of shrimp to bread ratio, with a nice sauce included. The gumbo had a deep rich flavor, but was not overly heavy with fatty meats. We were also informed of the happy hour oyster special, so we ended up getting a few of the rockerfella and raw. The rockerfella was amazing with melty cheese, a nice garlic flavor, & served with crispy bread slices. The raw came with crackers, lemon, wine vinegar, and a tasty cocktail sauce. Both were delicious. Marco, the manager came and spoke with us about our experience which really showed the attention to detail this restaurant offers. After sharing our story of visiting New Orleans a few years ago and bragging about the beignets, he brought us 2 out to finish our meal. I have to say, these were better than the ones I've had at cafe beignet in NOLA. They were HOT out the fryer to the point where the powdered sugar was slightly melted. Crisp outside dough but gooey soft in the center. A unreal experience to end a fantastic meal. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Luckily my sister lives 5 mins from this place but I would easily drive a hour or 2 when visiting from out of town just for this experience. Now, I'm a country boy, so the deviled eggs just weren't my style, but everything else more than made up for it. The cornbread was incredible. Honestly, I couldn't decide if I was eating cake or cornbread--it was that good. The barbecue shrimp was outstanding and easily one of my favorite dishes (our waitress clearly has great taste!). The fried oysters were cooked to perfection, and the baked chicken was seasoned and prepared just right. The gator tail was great with the sauce. I've had scalloped potatoes many times over the years, but these were on another level--definitely some for the record books. If you're looking for great food, an authentic New Orleans atmosphere, and excellent service, Voodoo is absolutely worth the visit.
