I met my dear friend here for a light lunch to catch up and recognize her 50th birthday. This was my first visit to Christopher's Kitchen. We spent a couple of hours here so we had a few people assist us, but Brandon was our initial server. I inquired what his favorite dishes are and one of the items he mentioned was the avocado ginger roll. We decided to share this and each order a smoothie. However, we did make a few changes to the roll. First we axed the cucumber and mango. Next, we requested sliced strawberries. This roll was heavenly! The ingredients were ridiculously fresh and the pairing of the textures and tastes are simply dynamite. A true WOW factor! I would return for this item alone! I ordered the banana almond smoothie and the birthday gal ordered the protein star. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our smoothies. Our servers did a fantastic job taking care of our needs and our water glasses were never empty. I have been waiting to try CK for years. I was finally in the area and made it a point to finally check it off my list. It exceeded all expectations and I can't wait to return! I had one of the bowls, which was flavorful and a decent portion size. I am usually not a fan of hot and cold items in the same dish, but they made it work somehow. I was full due to the good portion but just had to try one of their delicious sounding desserts. I asked my server for his recommendation and he said the cinnamon roll, so I ordered that. It's served warm with homemade vanilla ice cream...delicious and as full as I was, I ate every bit of it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also had my dog with me so we sat outside. It was very delicious. Had a lot of toppings, except there was absolutely no jackfruit on it , one of the main reasons why I got it. It had all the other toppings that were listed. I asked for a side of mac & was given the starter. i was not prepared to pay $16 and was told there was no such thing as a side of mac after given my order. I would have never ordered it had i know. Stumbled upon Christopher's Kitchen via reading others Yelp reviews! We wanted someone on the "healthier side". We are not vegetarian or vegan. We do love trying out new dishes to help us try and eat less meat! I got the veggie burger. I was kind of skeptical about all the sauces listed, the truffle aioli with the sloppy slaws bbq. However it was all so delicious together. It was very messy and the cloth napkin I had was covered in the sauce. The kale salad was fresh and the dressing was a little spicy but it all worked well together. My bf got a smoothie and it was very good. Wish we had something like this near San Antonio! Although MOOD in Tequesta was our clear favorite, Christopher's Kitchen was excellent. Our party shared a couple of starters. The NY Roll was gorgeously presented and, while tasty, we thought the Southbeach Roll at MOOD was a better bite--even though the ingredients list for each are quite similar. CK's nachos were well balanced and the favorite bite of the evening for many of us. Entrees were enjoyable, but not compelling. I had the mushroom bolognese which was tasty but probably not something I would order again. Our party was too full for desserts, but we loved sharing several selections from their 'raw chocolates' list, which were well priced. This place is the best Vegan restaurant I have been to in Florida and probably the best V restaurant I have been to, hands down. I had the pizza with the dates and it was the best GF V pizza I ever had! I also had the spinach artichoke dip, amazing! The buffalo cauliflower flatbread which was great and the cookie dough ice cream. The ice cream could have been creamier and was a bit on the icy side, but had great flavor.
