My first time here; heard good things but wanted to see for myself. Order at the register; nice menu of sandwiches, salads, sides and other entree items... Open kitchen, you can watch them prepare the food. You get a number and take it to your table. Indoor and outdoor seating. The music is Spanish upbeat, a little loud for my liking but maybe just me. We ordered Italian flatbread with prosciutto, cheese, arugula and it had a delicious sauce on it. Hubby and I shared the sandwich - it was big enough. We ordered brussel sprouts as a side. Crispy, delicious, pumpkin seeds, pickled onions and some kind of tasty vinaigrette. The dish was a generous size. The brussels were fabulous. The sandwich was delicious as well. Have you ever ate something and it made you emotional? That's how I feel with the turkey club from Mango Mercado. I had heard GREAT reviews from locals about this place. Never went, never had a chance, and then finally the moment arrived. I ordered the turkey club, and I have never looked back. I've tried other things: the curry chicken salad (which is amazing as well), the carpaccio sandwich, also a fan favorite. But the turkey club. I dream about it. The buttery toasted bread, the extra crispy bacon, avocados.. .but the piece de resistance.... the Dijonnaise and pickled jalapeños. If you are in the Palm Beach Gardens area, do yourself a flavor (see what I did there?) and go to lunch here. Limited seating inside. But who cares, eat on a bench, your car, take it home. Today was my 2nd visit to Mango Mercado. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious and best described as gourmet. We had the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio Sandwich & All Day Breakfast Burrito... soooo good. The burrito was a little spicy for my preteen but I thought it had just the perfect amount of spice. The little shop is also very clean and has some seating available inside. The seating situation is more of the pop in and pop out vibe. Although the food is delicious- the wait is pretty long. I don't mean when you order the sandwich- but from the time the order is placed to the time you receive the sandwich... it's quite lengthy. You also don't want to sit down because you don't want to take up the limited seating for patrons that are dining in. They should find a way to promote ordering in advance... or getting an app.... Or maybe getting more help in the kitchen. The wait was similar to the last time I was here as well so I'm inclined to think the wait time is the norm. I think the sandwiches are also a little expensive. The beef sandwich was $18 and the burrito was $16. If you've got some time- drop in for a delicious sandwich. Ordered the buckwheat pancakes, they were just ok. I probably wouldn't get them again. The honey lavender latte wasn't very hot when it came out. Not sure if it sat around until the pancakes were done. I didn't taste much lavender either. I got the waygu sandwich to go and that was very good. Waygu is typically more expensive this was around $25 for the sandwich. I used my in kind money I had on my account to pay. We came here for a quick breakfast, and left with huge smiles. Between the two of us, we ordered an egg, bacon, & cheddar with fancy sauce piadinas...and the buckwheat pancakes. Both were extremely flavorful. When ordering the pancakes; ask for extra maple syrup. They are very fluffy with perfectly crispy edges. The Floridian coffee was made very well and a nice addition to our breakfast. The ingredients are not so rare as to justify this price fur such a small portion. The mac and cheese is very good--similar to the way I make it at home, and the roasted beet salad is delish. The service has been hit or miss--the first time I went, the service was amazing. The second and third time it was just so-so. Ordering at the kiosk screen is a bit confusing. Some items offer customization of ingredients for an additional cost that the menu says are already included. Only critique is that they should tie then remove the rosemary when done cooking the cream of mushroom soup as last time I had stems in the bottom of the container. Still so amazing though.
