The Mortadella, 2 mini cannolis, The Jimbo
Kristina W.

First time at this location. We have been traveling from Port Saint Lucie to the location in Deerfield for a little while. Super pleased with the service, very friendly staff, quick turnaround, amazing quality and presentation. The focaccia was incredible just like we enjoyed at the other location. The nice gentleman who took our order even gifted us 2 mini cannolis!! So glad they have a location a little closer for us. Will be back again and again!!! Had The Mortadella which is our favorite to split and we tried The Jimbo. The Mortadella never disappoints. Full of delicious cheese and meats.... What else can you say. The jam on the Jimbo was sweet but complimented the meats and cheeses very well. We like to try a new sandwich whenever we go. Can't wait to try some more soon.

Food continues to be excellent. Places a large catering order and even though they don't have website ordering figured out yet they were great on the phone w the order and were willing to deliver it no was a large order.

No picture of my sub to share - it went wayyy too fast. I did snap the menu so I can plan for my next visit! I don't even know where to begin. I got the Buto and never wanted it to end!!! 100% legit Italian sandwiches that will not disappoint. The bread!! Can't wait to try all of the others!!

"Fully Loaded" Italian sub

Whoa...this is good. Tried a Buto (chicken cutlet, mozzarella, pink sauce) on seeded roll and the "Fully Loaded" which is their take on an Italian sub. Did that one on focaccia. Both were amazing. Chicken cutlet was thin, crispy and perfectly seasoned. Fresh mozzarella got a bit melty and the pink sauce...holy hell was that good, especially after it soaked into that delicious Italian loaf. Fully Loaded was made with great cold cuts (none of that Boars Head garbage here), fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, arugula and o&v. The focaccia is the way to go here - airy and light with a good chew, but sturdy enough to not fall apart while eating. Service was friendly and efficient, and prices more than fair. It's already getting pretty slammed in there so I'm hesitant to pile on with another five star review, but these guys deserve all the business they can handle.

The buto on seed

Best sandwich shop in Florida. From The bread to the service. I can't wait to go back ' The owner is a gentleman. Place is clean and cozy. My favorite are the Milano & the Arthur ave buto on seed. Make sure you get on focaccia ! Game changer.

Arther Ave sandwich

Absolutely delicious!!! If you are in Palm beach Gardens you must try. We drove from Wellington and it was well worth it.

Our visit coincided with a fundraiser event so of course the restaurant was very busy, but that did not affect service whatsoever. Irving, our main waiter was extraordinarily helpful with the menu and the specials. He guided us each to the perfect entrée for my sister and I. She had the braised short ribs with pasta and meatballs, and I had a filet mignon portobello risotto that was delicious. I would have preferred the fillet to be a little less well done however it was still very tender. The ambience cannot be beat. We sat outside on thie beautiful. The sound was not up so is not to ruin the peaceful atmosphere, but we were still able to follow along which made for even more fun. We came early before dinner for cocktails and stayed late. The bar was busy but still attentive. The Capri spritzer was my favorite, but they also have an array of beers and wines. It was an enjoyable evening from top to bottom.

Several semi booths surround the restaurant with very plush seating and chairs facing the other way. Several full tables in the center of the restaurant and a large bar in the back. My only complaint about the seating is that it makes you quite a bit lower than the table. I'm 6 foot 3 and my head was just barely above the table. The menu was small, but that's OK. I like a small menu. The hot rolls they begin with were fresh and warm. They could've used a little butter, but other than that they were quite tasty. The clam appetizer that we got was amazing. piled high with clams in the shell and topped with a large amount of chopped clams served in a white wine, buttery, garlicky sauce. My lobster raviolis were tender, full and covered in a delicious sauce. My brother's rigatoni Bolognese was perfectly al dente and covered with plenty of wonderful meat sauce. For dessert, I had a luxurious piece of chocolate upon chocolate cake while my brother enjoyed a raspberry cheesecake. Our server was quite attentive and very friendly. I am happy to say that during the course of our dinner more people did come into the restaurant and by the time we were finishing and were ready to leave there were maybe five or six groups of people eating. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and I would be happy to go there again.

Per myself, I would rate as 4 1/2 stars! The food has always been very good, service last night was very good as well and with the location being near the marina we had a pleasant evening! My wife & I started at the bar area as we waited for our family to join us for dinner! The Peroni was served in a chilled glass and my wife had an Ole' Fashion with Bulleit Rye. Both beverages were a nice way to start the evening. The bartender was very nice & attentive. For our meal we started with the grilled calamari which is also served with grilled broccoli. Excellent appetizer! The main course, I had the linguini in clam sauce (very good) & my wife had the Sambuca which she said was excellent! With the linguini I had a couple of shell fragments but with any shellfish need to be on notice. We had great weather and with the awnings for protection from any inclement weather as well as a wonderful breeze and the marina in view, it was a great evening! Again, not sure why this is rated 3.1 stars as that rating is not reflective of this establishment. All tables were full and what I viewed people were having a fun evening! Come experience yourself you'll be happy you did!

However no special consideration when they have the 30 per cent off night like today which is ok and not expected. However to almost criminally over book and make people wait over an hour is tough. Especially for me when i just had a knee replaced. There is absolutely no where to sit and wait. maybe should get a visit from the Feds. The confusion at the greeters desk was about the worst i have ever experienced. Finally when they said we had a seat as requested outside, we were taken outside to find there was no seat! Excuse was "we thought they were leaving table" Then left us alone to start all over. Given your horrendous parking fight and this experience, my recommendation is go to Cod and Capers or the Italian market for your equal or better fish and meat options is to pass this hassle up. By the way got sick after eating here this and last time. Clams first, then today by from the grilled calamari with a gross amount of salt poured over the burnt broccoli.

We made a 8pm reservation and arrived a few minutes early, so we grabbed some wine and headed outside. For some reason, the bartender wasn't friendly at all towards our group, but I'm letting that slide. Anyway, when we sat down, they immediately brought us a bread basket that included their homemade focaccia bread and butter, which was wonderful. For appetizers, we split their meatballs and their zucchini fritters. The fritters were incredible. The dishes looked huge, so we split two dishes between the four of us. The chicken francese had a ton of flavor, it did taste like an old school NY/NJ spot. It was 100% on point. After our meal, they gave us a bit of lemoncello and homemade Italian cookies, which were fabulous! Service was good too. (Please note, it's beer and wine only). Also, there isn't much of a bar, (we weren't sure before we arrived). Had a great experience though!

This is not an old school red sauce Italian type place if that is what you are looking for. Overall I'm not sure we would return because it's not our style.

(There was a group of 4 older guys that knew the bartender by name and appeared to be regulars that were getting all the attention). So they have an amazing selection of $10 options for outdoor dining. We ordered 4 of them and the other bartender, Katelyn, notified us that one of the options was no longer available. No big deal, there were plenty of other options. Katelyn was fairly attentive and checked on us. I noticed several other patrons across the bar trying to get attention and were getting passed by. It was a busy night with staff pulling tables from inside to move them outside for several large parties. So I would give this place 4-5 stars for the food. The eggplant rotalini was AMAZING!! My hubby doesn't really like eggplant and he was practically licking the plate. Now, I would give the service 2-3 stars. (3 because Katelyn was great). I've worked in the food industry and it was a CF. It was like it was their 2nd week in business. For such an amazing space, and this family being in business for awhile, I expected better. I understand it was busy but your "regulars" will continue to come back. You don't screw new customers because that's a new financial chain that will support you in an industry that struggles with profit margins. I would give them another try because the food was so good and I love to support local.
