I am writing this review in order or change my previous slam on Lewis Grill. Tonight I returned to Lewis Prime in Loxahatchee and I was presently surprised. The last time I was at this restaurant was 9/2024 because of poor food but more importantly the surcharged to patrons using credit cards. A friend informed me they no longer charged money to those using credit cards so I decided to return tonight. I would typically spend from 150.00 to 200.00 at the bar. Ai this level of spending I refused to return because of the surcharge. Tonight I was told that no longer applies, and I ordered the French dip. It was outstanding and the bar employees Layden and Liza were outstanding. The food was excellent and I will now return every week! read more

Really a 2.5 Star which I can't score. Went to try Lewis Prime Grill in Loxahatchee, FL and unfortunately left disappointed. Service was below average; our waiter was young and not very attentive. Overall, the experience felt more like an Applebee's, Outback, or LongHorn and honestly, I've received better service at those places. The biggest letdown was the food. If I'm paying $50+ for a steak, I expect it to be excellent. The ribeye was less than average, and I've had better steaks at LongHorn and Outback. I even compared it to steaks I made years ago when I worked at Rustlers Steakhouse, not a compliment. My wife also wasn't impressed with her steak tips from the specials, saying they had a rubbery texture. As for appetizers, the three-dip sampler (guacamole, spinach dip, and brisket cheese dip with nachos) was decent. The cheese bread was just okay. The restaurant itself was freezing cold--they definitely need to turn the thermostat down. Overall, I wouldn't recommend ordering the overpriced steaks here. You can get a much better steak elsewhere. I was really hoping this place would be a hit, but it missed the mark. read more

I ordered the chop tonight and it would have been very good except for the fact of it being raw in the middle. I asked for it medium rare (which I have enjoyed in the past) but it came out way undercooked. The waitress never came back to check on our table so I ate the sides. By the time she checked on us my husband was done and we were ready to leave. When I mentioned the pork was under cooked she asked the manager who said he would recook my meal or I could get something else. At that point we were ready to leave so I declined. Even a discount would have been the right thing to do. Instead we were charged full price. Very unprofessional. We usually love Lewis Prime but tonight has changed our feelings. read more

Extremely disappointed with our first visit to Lewis Prime Grill. We've been going to Okeechobee Steakhouse for many years and expected a similar level of service and quality -- this place didn't even come close. We had a birthday reservation for a party of four and still waited over 20 minutes to be seated. After sitting down, we waited so long for a waitress that I had to walk back to the hostess stand just to ask if anyone planned on serving us. The second drink we ordered came out incorrect, and halfway through my steak I found a long hair underneath it. When I told the waitress, she did absolutely nothing -- no apology, no replacement, no manager, nothing. At that point, I didn't bother sending the food back because I know how some restaurants handle returned plates. For the amount of money this place charges, the service, food quality, and professionalism were nowhere near acceptable. Lewis Prime Grill tries to ride on the reputation of Okeechobee Steakhouse, but based on this experience, it doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence. read more

From the group that operates okeechobee steak House brings a smaller less intimate dining experience, keeping with the steak forward menu it is a good weekend spot or if you are in a pinch. I have not had a bad meal yet I am so happy they have brought this restaurant to an area that needed something like this for sure. read more

Food was mediocre at best I could get a steak for a fraction of the price and same quality at a chain steakhouse. The buffalo chicken dip was also mediocre I could make it at home I was expecting to be blown away for 15 dollars. The service was great and the server was polite and quick. Stopped by to try this place out...sat at the bar abd ordered a ribeye steak with fries. Steak was over 50% fat....the worst i have had ever. Bartender was fine. She saw how much was left on my plate and asked if it was ok...I said fine as I didn't want to complain when surrounded by other guests at the bar. Guess I should have tried the filet. Have been here a lot and have never had anything but amazing food and service. Their steaks are cooked to perfection every time. Cute place with nice dim lights and very clean. The only gripe I have is that they took the lobster tails off the menu. I usually get the filet mignon and lobster, the husband switched his up every time and we always get the delicious burrata appetizer. read more

We had been waiting to check this place out once it opened, and Lewis Prime Grill didn't disappoint. We had an 8:00 PM reservation on a Saturday but came early since we were down the street and wanted to have drinks. We enjoyed cocktails like the Blackberry Bourbon Smash and the Old Fashioned. Their pork belly appetizer was tasty and started our night well. The dark gray walls and the dark wooden booths provided the right ambiance for the meal we embarked on. The bar area is stylish, black, and sophisticated, with a respectable array of whiskeys on colored-lit shelves for pouring neat, on the rocks, or including cocktails. The bartenders were attentive as my wife and our friends enjoyed seconds and thirds of the cocktails. The Delmonico Ribeye was one of the best steaks I have ever had at a steakhouse, served medium rare and was like butter -- rich and delicious. I savored every bite like it was my last meal on this earth. Our server was excellent and ensured we had what we needed for our meal. Given that Lewis is part of the Okeechobee Steakhouse restaurants, I am not surprised by the quality of their meat given how good the food has been at their other locations. Since I am less than 10 minutes away from Lewis, I am sure I'll be back for more meals to try their appetizers and other steak and entree options. The food was beyond satisfying. read more
