This is a hella cool themed bar, tucked in between Lilo's and Oka in downtown Lake Worth. This is my first time at a speakeasy bar and now I am on a hunt to find more! It is Harry Potter themed which was super cool (we are Harry Potter fans), the drink menu has unique thoughtfully themed craft drinks, there is a food menu as well, that is prepared by either Lilo's or Oka. The bartender, Brittany was a delight and friendly. They do have a great happy hour menu between 5-7pm, unfortunately we arrived shortly after 7pm, but will definitely return to take advantage. Definitely stop by if you have not experienced and if you are a Harry Potter fan, you will def love.

We had a great evening here. After seeing some online photos and reading several reviews, we decided to come check them out. You can access the Speakeasy two ways -- either entering through Lilo's and heading to the back or directly from K street. The front room has the bar and several tables. There's another back room as well. We sat at the bar. We had great service from bartender, Vinnie. We got there in time for happy hour. They have several drinks that qualified, and I decided to try a cosmo (for the first time!). My husband enjoyed a gin martini with olives. Oka Sushi that used to be down the street just started offering their menu in the Speakeasy. You could also get items from Lilo's menu, if you wished. But right now they're touting Oka's offerings and we were excited to try them. My husband got their Kanisu roll -- a cucumber wrapped krab and avocado roll. I tried a few pieces and it was excellent. He also got their orange dragon roll which was topped with salmon. He said it, too, was very good. I got their shrimp tempura roll. It was delicious. Portions for their regular rolls were large. You could also opt for a hand roll. There are a lot of choices on the menu. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual. The folks at the bar were sociable. We look forward to returning...

New evening spot for us to check out and enjoy some OKA Sushi now being offered. A cozy environment and friendly patrons and staff. We sat at the bar and Vinny immediately approached us and gave us menus and pointed out Happy Hour drink specials. I chose a Gin Martini with Olives and my wife ordered a Cosmopolitan (she requested light alcohol and Vinny was able to adjust ingredients to her liking). I ordered an Orange Dragon Roll and Kanisu Roll from the Oka kitchen. (So glad to see that Oka is still thriving on Lake Ave ... we missed you!) As we enjoyed our cocktails and chatted with others at the bar as we saw the Library starting to fill up. Our Sushi dinners arrived and I have to say this is some of the best I've had in a while. Great job Oka chef(s)! Public parking is available in nearby in lots and on the street. We look forward to our next trip to the Library Speakeasy!

This was our first time checking out The Library Speakeasy, located behind Lilo's in downtown Lake Worth. We came for happy hour (5-7pm), and the setup was easy to find once you know where to look. The happy hour drink menu has all the classics--Old Fashioned, Margarita, Martini, etc.--for $8 each. I really appreciated that they use quality spirits, like High West bourbon for their Old Fashioned. Nicely done! We decided to try everything on the happy hour food menu. The oysters were fresh and tasty, but a few were really small and not the cleanest shuck--some shells and grit still in there, so just be careful. The Wagyu sliders were the standout for me--super juicy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with the onions and pickles. I'd probably skip the crab Rangoon next time, but my husband really liked the beef balls. Overall: Food: 3/5 Drinks: 4/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 (a bit too bright for a speakeasy vibe, though it might get moodier later in the evening) Service: 5/5 (our bartender was attentive and friendly) We'd come back for another round of sliders and bourbon cocktails--hopefully with dimmer lights next time!

Very cool speakeasy that you can enter in through the back of Lilo's (or the main entrance). It's a Harry Potter themed place with lots of cute decor and mood lighting. I thought the "dealers choice" cocktail was a cool idea: you basically tell the bartender what you like, and then they "work their magic" and create a custom cocktail using your preferences. (Price starting at $15). I got a lavender bees knees which was lovely! The old fashioned was good as well. We went for a later/post dinner drink and it wasn't busy. The service and ambiance was a 10/10!

Not really 701 Lake but a back room of restaurant that is 701. Frustrating policy of compulsory 20% tip with option to add more! That said pretty cool place with two small rooms with couches and high tops and pages out of books stuck on the walls. Great cocktails. Well made, strong and tasty but at $20 a pop not cheap. The happy hour 5-7 everyday have much lower prices. Could be good place to go for drink before theatre or late night

Great cocktails, a lovely happy hour, and super friendly staff who make the place feel warm and local. The vibe is relaxed and intimate, perfect for unwinding close to home. The only thing that held me back from giving it the highest praise is that it can get a little slow when it's busy and the prices jump a bit once happy hour ends. Still, it's a spot I really enjoy and love having in the neighborhood.

Library Speakeasy is a cool place (in back of Lilo's) for a pre-dinner drink with a laid back vibe. The first time I went, I thought the drinks were excellent, but this last time, they were good, but not as noteworthy. The meloncholy marg was good but it had too much ice and was watered down tasting. The pisco sour was good. It's easy to strike up conversations with fellow bar patrons - I liked the Jazz playing in the background. I'm liking Lake Worth Beach more and more.

This place is cool and the drinks are good. I will be coming back with friends. I can't wait for the new addition of food.

Loved this hidden little spot! the decor was so cute, lots of harry potter themed items. Large drink menu with lots of options, tried the Hemingway drink and it was delicious. Nice music and vibes throughout the night, fun and entertaining servers who were friendly to everyone. Will be back for a cute date night!

You need to make a reservation with a credit card as if you don't show they will charge. Sounds high end and the place to be. That day we tried to adjust a reservation by 30 minutes. NO ONE WOULD ANSWER NOR RETURN CALLS, no matter how many times we called or messaged on the app. We read 20 minute grace period so we choose '20 minutes' late. They text us door1 code. Ok, cool..good start. We get there....Door1is propped open. Then you were in a vestibule area. Door 2 (where you are supposed to ring in) is ALSO OPEN. So literally other than not having a name on the outside, is a bar. An expensive one. We were really disappointed as stupid as that sounds as we didn't get the speakeasy experience. Hostess says they are really busy. Umm, the place is half full. No real tables but honestly we sat on the couches looking at the bar, and turned out perfect for cocktails and app, and enjoying my beautiful company (my wife). Out waitress was cool, kept apologizing for how busy it was .....again 1/2 full. We were thinking there would be a mixologist there. Nope, just another waitress who never smiled once making drinks. And $21 drinks that seemed a bit light on the pour (as least for my ol fashioned. We did order a smoked prosciutto burrata app that was quite good! The guy placing music was really nice although for a few songs the volume got turned up and you couldn't hardly talk to your date, but that was temporary. So it was like $80 for 2 drinks and one app. With the 'absence of the speakeasy', mehhh
