Tonight, we had the fried green tomatoes with crab meat and mozzarella - Dee-lish. We moved on to the beef Stroganoff, which is not your Mom's Wednesday night leftovers....It's made with Filet tips. Wow! Wonderful scallions, sour cream, mushrooms, and bacon. I had the 3-hour braised Guinness boneless short ribs with mushroom bacon risotto and crispy onions. Enough to feed a small village. Food rocks the house. Tip of the hat to chef David. Okay, now the "Opportunities For Improvement." The hostess, needs to step it up. Smile, talk to yout guests. Next is the lighting. Dim those flood lights! No one wants to be on display! Lastly, I greatly appreciate the $6.00 bottomless wine, but it's not really bottomless if I have to hound the waitress every time the glasses are empty. Okay, the final is, we go there every couple of months. It's still great and enjoy the heck out of this great food and look the other way at the "Opportunities." Devine Bistro had been one of our favorite restaurants in Wellington sine they opened, years ago. I always loved their filet mignon with the blue cheese crumbles and truffle demi glaze. However, the last two times we dined there, the steak was overcooked and the demi glaze tastes like molasses. Last night, we waited 20 minutes for our drinks, 15 minutes to order and another 20 minutes for out food, which I had to send back. So disappointed. We need to find a new restaurant. read more

What a great dinner with a new friend in Wellington. If you get seated by 6 pm and order by 6:30, you can have the De-light menu. Soup or salad, smaller size entree, and smaller size dessert for $18. Ambiance is nice but you don't have to dress up. But if you want to dress up a little, you also will not feel out of place. Service is also good. Had the 1) beef barley vegetable soup-very hearty, 2) short ribs on mushroom risotto-plenty of meat and a generous helping of delicious mushroom risotto. Living in Florida this was one of my favorite places to go. It's owner is very family oriented. The interior is decadent and has a very classy vibe. The wait staff and the kitchen staff are incredibly professional and very personable. The chef will also come out and ask how your meal was. If you're going there on the evenings or weekend you may want to call ahead because they are typically very busy. They have an adequate number of booths and some bar space but it does fill up quickly. read more

We have ordered delivery twice over the last few weeks from Devine and everything has been excellent! We usually reserve take out for more casual dining like pizza and burgers, but during Covid we decided to expand our options. We have tried the chicken parmigiana, braised short ribs with risotto, sweet potato crusted tilapia, the hamburger and the stroganoff- all delicious!!! Each time the delivery came quick and the food was hot The young man delivering the order is very polite and the food is packaged well. Our order came with homemade bread on the side and they threw in some delicious cookies for dessert! Because our order was over $50 we also received a bottle of wine! This lovely lady in a walker was trying to make her way to the restroom and some service staff woman named Devon was super rude telling her to move her fat crippled ass. The male server behind her was laughing and agreeing. I recorded it. Then when I was leaving and said goodnight to the lovely woman in the walker that recently lost her son, Devon the server came out and ordered this handicapped woman out of the way. We had a wonderful evening and the food was very good. My meal was grilled chicken on a bed of portabello mushroom ravioli. Short ribs for one friend. Shrimp and ravioli was another. Calamari was a starter. Here's a nice touch. Server brought my plate saying, "The plate is very hot but it will keep the ravioli hot/warm until the end." Spot-on! The chicken atop the ravioli and sauces was to die for. I think there the ambience is casual and very friendly. The food I'm guessing is solid across the board. Finally had a chance to go visit this place, and I'm glad we did. Our server was very friendly and attentive and made some great recommendations. My daughter had the chicken piccata and loved it. The sauce was really good and not overpowering like you get at some places. I had the beef stroganoff. Although I really enjoyed it, I wish they used bigger noodles for the dish. We had a 6:00 reservation on Friday night. There were 4 of us dining, we all ordered cocktails and appetizers. By 7:30, our meals had still not been served. Once they arrived, the server realized that our friends pork chop was never ordered. Our steak with a blue cheese crumble that was ordered medium was completely raw and we had to send it back. So only one of the four of us had their meal. 16 minutes later, the server brought back our steak and it was the same steak, the blue cheese was now dried out and hard from being on the grill and the mashed potatoes were ice cold from sitting around for 16 minutes. The pork chop that was ordered medium, was completely raw...pic below. When the server brought the check, she was less than apologetic and we weren't charged for the pork chop. I asked if the owner knew about our experience (because nobody came over and said...we are so sorry, let me do this or that for you)...nothing. The server said that the owner knew about everything and not once did she come over. She said the steak was on the bill because we ate it. What choice did we have? We were hungry. When we were leaving, the owner was sitting on her phone at the front. I asked if she was the owner, and asked if she knew about our experience. She could care less. Literally looked at me and said, oh, sorry. REALLY? I have no problem paying for a meal that I ate, even if it was wrong twice, but where is the customer service? Being in the service industry, I am all about making everyone happy. ESPECIALLY if it has something to do with my company. This place is a hidden gem. I love that their menu has a lot of options. They always have plenty of specials too. Their mahi with black beans, coconut rice, and mango salsa is delicious. I also love their butternut squash ravioli with scallops. It's becoming more rare for restaurants to bring free bread, but they still do. Their warm herb focaccia is sooooo good. One caveat, beware of the mosquitoes if you eat outside. They need to be more vigilant with the standing water in empty planters. read more

Had a 7:30 PM reservation for dinner this past Saturday night. That was the only thing that went well. Our entrees didn't arrive at our table until 8:45PM. My salmon was cold and overcooked. My friends short ribs were also cold. The waitress was nowhere in site. We had to get up and find her to ask for help. She took both dishes to reheat. When she returned 15 minutes later my medium rare salmon was well done. I asked to speak to the manager. She came over and said she was the owner and was sorry but she couldn't do anything else to help. I had about half my salad and no salmon. It was not edible. They charged us full price for 2 entrees that I wouldn't feed to a dog. On the way out I spoke again to the owner who then said she would not charge us for the 2 entrees. I did not get that credit on my card. I am very disappointed and hungry. read more

Went for dinner at 7:30 reservation with friends who have been to the restaurant many times. we were shown to our table about 10 minutes later. The waitress came to our table and we placed our order. Bread came out 15 minutes after we were sitting at the table. Our food came out about 1 hour later. Two of the dishes came out cold and were sent back after one of the guests had to hunt down the waitress. She took the plate of short ribs and salmon back. They were brought out about 25 minutes later. The short ribs and risotto were overdone and still cold. The salmon that was ordered medium rare came out came over overdone, dry and shriveled. My hangar steak was a minute portion and dry and the salad on the plate had slivers of tomato and wilted lettuce. The truffled French fries were hot and the only good part of our dinner. We complained to the waitress who could not do anything. We asked for the owner who came to our table with a sour look on her face. She basically said to bad. For us it was too late to eat or reorder meals to replace the two horrible ones. The waitress brought the check for the full amount with no recompense for the uneaten salmon and the overdone cold beef short ribs with risotto. My husband once again went to the owner who said she would adjust the bill for the 2 disgusting entrees but she never did. This place is disgusting with no sense of caring. My friends who are frequent customers and my husband and myself will never go back. What a shame because we had such high expectations. Do not waste your time or money at this place. So my Buddy has been telling me about this place for a couple years now. Its a bit of a drive for me but the planets are aligned correctly and and my schedule is open so here I am. Wow, you mean I could have been coming here for two years now? We sat at the counter, which I would encourage everyone to do, and were treated to some of the finest service, food and drink that South Florida has to offer. My evening started off with the $6 bottomless wine glass, which I was unable to empty until I tapped out. Not just a run of the mill house wine but a merlot that I would choose to drink every day. They also had several other reds and white wines to choose from that were just as good. It only got better from here. Next we ordered the Heirloom Tomato Salad and Ahi Taco appetizers both which beautifully plated and good portions. I wish I could describe the flavors, but lets just say nothing like you have tried before. Both amazing and it keeps getting better. For the main courses we ordered the Beef Stroganoff, Short ribs with mushroom bacon risotto, Double french dip and the Butternut squash raviolli and siracha shrimp. I could go into detail about each of these dishes but I wont. Instead I will just point out the highlights. Beef Stroganoff is made with filet mignon, melt in your mouth. Short ribs over risotto, boneless short rib piled over the most amazing "mushroom bacon risotto" . I will dream about this plate for some time. Double french dip, caramelized onions, brie, gruyere, grilled baguette with a side of au jus. Yes it's as good as it sounds and the Butternut squash raviolli and siracha shrimp, the sweetness of the butternut and spiciness of the shrimp, a match made in heaven. Took enough home for a second meal. No room for dessert but definitely looking forward to trying them. Maybe next time and there will be a next time. So my wife was raving about this place for such a long time and decided, why not! Lets give it a try after attending the gym - one of the reasons i'm giving it a 3 star review is because the service was good and I actually liked the place because it was not to loud and seemed cozy. I ordered the seared tuna with stir fried veggies... with a salad. The salad was good however the seared tuna was not that good. The presentation looked good however I have had better seared tuna at other establishments and for much less than what i paid. But the kicker is that my wife, the person that recommended it and was raving about the salad and how good it was... well, she got def. got jipped on her salad. She ordered the Farmer's Daughter salad which includes beefsteak tomatoes, dried cranberries, candied walnuts, sunflower seeds, cucumbers, mixed greens, hearts of romaine, gorgonzola, balsamic dressing. But when we look at it - it had little of the other stuff and most of it was just mixed greens with romaine lettuce... and to top it off some of mixed greens were discolored. Having been forewarned of the saltiness, by a friend, I still requested they bring me home a bowl of the baked onion soup so I could decide for myself. The soup indeed had a good flavor but, as my friend relayed, it was too heavily salted. My son had ordered it at the restaurant for himself and felt the same. I like and use salt so I'm not adverse to having it in my soup but this was overkill. Perhaps more feedback from other diners might be helpful for the chef. Nice place. Our family visited on a Friday evening and the six of us were able to be seated right away. A testament to there being lots of other dining options in the area or the place is finally losing some of the "latest and greatest" hoopla that had people willing to wait for an hour a couple of years ago. The restaurant is nicely laid out with comfortable seating and an open kitchen that allows you to see the staff function as they prepare your meal. The restaurant was almost full and felt very engaging with a really positive vibe. We loved the $14 calamari appetizer, but it was a very small portion that should have be twice the size and half the price as it is in other similar places. The food was well presented and everyone was pleased their meal. I had the steak frite which happened to be a bit tough and the accompanying fries were overly greasy but the braised rib looked great and I was told tasted amazing. She was very surprised and apologetic. She went to her manager and came back with a possible explanation. Now, we understand that this could happen (not that we want to see it) anywhere. And nothing against the waitress, she was very embarrassed but graceful. What got me to write this is that the person with the "manager" tag did not come to our table to personally speak to us. This was by far my favorite restaurant in Wellington until recently. I used to always recommend it as my go to place to enjoy comfort foods and great service. This time, our server was sweet up until the kitchen messed up our order. We purposely put in our kids orders first, but they came last. I ordered a mahi with shrimp and got the fish cold an shrimp. We had been wanting to try this place out, so while we were trying to decide where to go on Mother's Day, we figured this was a good time to try it out. We arrived around 6:45 pm, it wasn't busy, one table seated outside and maybe 4 inside. We were seated fairly quickly, that is when the quick portion of this dinner stopped. After about 5 minutes, the server came over to take our drink order. My husband and kids placed their order and I asked her to give me a moment while I chose a glass of wine. She left and didn't return for over 10 minutes, finally with their drinks. We were ready to place our order for dinner, but when she delivered the drinks, I told her the wine I had chosen and she ran away before we could get another word it. It was another 10 minutes before my wine was brought back and we placed our order for food. During this time, we also had to send my son's lemonade back as there was a bug floating in it. Numerous times while we waited for dinner, we tried to get our server's attention to refill drinks, she never looked our way. After being there over an hour, my son's food was delivered, he got chicken breast with broccoli and french fries. The chicken was over the broccoli and the broccoli was steaming, but when I looked at the chicken I could see that it was pink, very under-cooked. I touched the pink part and it was not just cool, but cold. We gave my son his fries and then pushed the meal to the end of the table and tried to get the server's attention, this went on for 15 minutes. I finally got up to head to the bar to find someone when I saw them coming out with the rest of our food. When the server got there, I asked for the manager. She asked what the problem was, I told her to start with, the chicken is raw. She said ok and walked away. She manager came over a few minutes later, we showed her the chicken and told her about the lack of service we had been receiving, at this point, we had been there 1 hour and 45 minutes and our food had just been delivered. She was nice and offered us desert or something else, but at this point, we just wanted to eat and get out of there. Our food was decent, my daughter hated her mojo chicken, said the flavor just tasted off. I got the bow-tie chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce, it was decent. My husband got some fish dish, he said it was decent too, none of us had meals we could come back for. Oh, I did have the lettuce wedge salad, that was very good. I will say the manager took my son's meal off the bill (rightfully so, since all he ate was french fries) and then 25% off the entire bill. For me it isn't so much about the money as it was that we spent 2 hours at this place for mediocre food and horrible service. And the worst part, that my son was served raw chicken. I read through some old reviews here and saw that this isn't the first time under-cooked food has been reported. We would have gotten more wine and desert if the service had been better. read more
