I love the cute themed decorations, portraits on the walls, and multiple bars for the convenience of everyone. The ambience is very fun and young, it was surprising to feel like at 30, I was one of the oldest people there. Nonetheless, the music and lighting was a nice touch, it was a good vibe and a fun experience overall. Decided to venture up to west palm for a change of scenery and check out Camelot. My friend Laura, had recently been there and really liked it. When we got there we were asked to pay $20 each, but the door guy decided to be nice and comp the fee. He also mentioned that they offer membership which runs $100 a year. The interior was decorated like an old ship with tons of framed photos of JFK, Jackie and their children. Half of the place was a dance floor with a bar that had a beautiful fish tank in the middle of it, the other half had an additional bar and an outside area seating. We chose to sit at the regular bar and order cocktails. I was a bit hungry and decided to try the fish dip app. It was actually really good and came with these amazing cheese crisps (forgot to snap a pic) :( The menu had some good options like: a cheese plate, assorted olives, a lobster roll and octopus. After we finished eating, we made our way to the dance floor. It was crawling with tons of women - from a crazy bachelorette party to a bunch of grandmas! Some of them were so intoxicated that they were falling all over the place and also attempting do the worm (for those who aren't aware of the worm, it's a breakdance move) haha. That scheme got old really quickly as I was constantly being doused in liquor. The DJ also had some type of ADD and played only 20 seconds of each, horrible song. He was awful! We decided to head home after that. Overall, Camelot was a decent spot, but there is no way I would ever pay $20 to get in, nor would I consider purchasing an overpriced membership. read more

Came here for a Taylor Swift themed night. It was fun for the most part but that was mostly because of the music. The drinks were okay and the staff nice enough. The biggest issue was space in the venue. It was packed to the point you couldn't even move a foot without hitting someone. For a place you go to for dancing, it would be nice to have room to dance. I've been to a lot of nightclubs that have been packed and never have been as squeezed together as I was at Camelot. I most likely won't return. read more

My boyfriend and I pay a $20 cover each only to walk in with the place completely packed, no one wearing masks and it's all indoors except for a small area on the side as you walk in. It's completely irresponsible and frustratingly a complete waste of $40 because we were not willing to put ourselves at that much of a risk with covid to stay in such a packed poorly ventilated place. Hello. This bar is incredible minus the general manager who unfortunately was deceitful about the bottle service and table service. We were part of a huge group after a wedding and she over charged us completely. It was very disappointing as a she seemed like a kind person yet her attitude as a professional was unfortunate and lacking. Me and my GF tried to get into Camelot and got meet with hostility at the door. We saw other patrons entering. We didn't know it was a members only bar. So we did leave. We meet up with a couple that got in later in the night, and asked them how much the membership was. They replied "What membership?" My experience here was not the greatest. Bartenders were awful. I didn't know it took 30 minutes for 3 glasses of champagne. The front of the house is supposed to be welcoming/ informative. Bouncer was not a good face for the business. Very hostile/unfriendly. Everyone seemed to be belligerent or underaged. Would never pay $20. Especially with the age groups in this club. My friends and I came on a Sunday night, which is mostly gay with a very fun drag show. I loved the upscale Kennedy theme. The bar was very comfortable and the staff excellent. Doorman is a complete jerk. Completely arrogant and blatantly disrespects all patrons. Entry fee is $20 (and sometimes more) total rip-off once you see what's waiting for you inside. One female manager in particular is completely incompetent when organizing table and bottle service. Between her and the doorman, I will avoid this establishment at all costs. Not to mention their lack of security where they allow scores of underage kids in with their parents credit card. I personally saw a group of blatantly underage kids present fake ids along with a $20 tip-off to the doorman to sneak in. Just quite haven't understood what the hype of this place is. Chicks at the front door aren't inviting & pretty rude bartenders are slow plus 10$ a person to get in. Then when I was here one of the workers decided instead of asking my friend to move to the side that they would rub a dirty trash can along her legs to get by leaving trash juice dripping down from where he had rubbed against her. This place has been our go to place every week since we moved down to Florida. Friday happy hours with Ryan and James are the reason we ended up getting the membership. Perfect mix of lounge and bar with cool group of people coming and going. Drinks are really good and the oysters are always a plus. Manager (Eillo sorry I stink at spelling) is another great plus to this place. I visited this location for the first time on a Sunday night. I ordered a drink at the bar and left my tab open where the bartender proceeded to scan my card and held it behind the bar. I enjoyed the local drag but had to leave the bar for a personal issue. Then I realized I left my card at the bar. (My fault). When I tried reaching out the next morning to the bar management, they were missing in action. I tried all Monday and no answer. I called Tuesday.. no answer. The hours of operation show that the bar opens Tuesday at 4:30. I arrived at that time and was told the bar is closed and the manager was "too busy" to be looking around the bar for my card. I was told to come back later and MAYBE they will look for it. There was no sense of urgency and lack of care to help me. I was told the bartender will not be contacted until NEXT Sunday. I feel there was a lack of customer service and and organizational skills. I can no longer trust this business to handle any transaction on my behalf. I will never return and will not recommend ANYONE to this location. read more

The Kennedy Camelot story that shaped the legacy of JFK was artfully woven by his wife Jacqueline Kennedy just days after his assassination. So too, the story of this Camelot club is being woven by the owners and managers that have artfully tried to create a space reminiscent of a bygone era. The Camelot Yacht Club is beautifully decorated with traditional nautical colors, plenty of Wainscoting, and large reprints of famous Kennedy photographs and a Crew boat attached to the wall. The two-bar club had ample friendly and fast bartenders on hand on a Saturday night and drink lines were quick and efficient. And that is where the story of Camelot ends. You see, the feel upon entering is one of sentimental wistfulness in which a person wants to go back to a time when class was clearly defined but then... one remembers what that meant for women and black Americans and one shudders to think of what life would be like if Camelot rose once again. But never fear, the Camelot Yacht club is simply another bar/lounge in the downtown corridor that plays the same music, offers the same drinks, has the same entertainment, and is effectively, "just another bar". Nothing I saw last night, other than the speed of the bar promises to keep this place open any longer than any other downtown venture. Camelot would do better to connect to the Kennedy history of Palm Beach, Peanut Island, etc. If the "yacht club" wants to succeed in the long run. In the concluding couplet of "Camelot", the musical written by Alan Jay Lerner, King Arthur says, "Don't ever let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment that was Camelot." I have a sinking suspicion that King Arthur's quote is more timeless than Lerner would have imagined. I would be happy to be proved wrong. read more

It happened to be Goombay party, supposedly with Bahamian music etc. It was mostly just popular music, no Bahamian, so I was a little sad about that. We did leave around midnight though and it is a nightclub so perhaps they started the music after we departed. The bartenders were very friendly and we were served quickly. Drinks aren't cheap but they are good! The decor of the place was very fun and boating-oriented, which we loved. It's Kennedy themed as well. I'm not much of a nightclub person but I really enjoyed our time there and would love to go back! If you're like me and never carry cash, just a heads up they do have bathroom attendants. So if you want to avoid any side eye from the attendants, carry a few bucks. read more

Usually come here at night for a few drinks and to dance a little. This is a membership required place, but they do let others in for a cover charge. The price of the drinks are average and the service is good. Not much room to move around, but it can be your typical night club. The best part is not much rift raft here and it is clean. Loved this high energy club! The reopening night was wonderful and the dance floor was packed. Membership fee is reasonable and has the benefit of discount on your drinks as well as invites to special parties. The manager made me feel very welcomed and his name Ilya Tatarov he is a pro with his staff and is always on the go. The bartender Cesar was very attentive and made sure we were never dry.. This club is the best around ,I have a crowd of friends that loves to dance but do not want to be pawed by pickup artists. No more going to broward or south beach for us!
