Let me preface this review by saying that I went here for a private event before the club opens for regular business. I was there from 6-9 pm. So I can't comment on the type of crowd it normally gets. The club itself looks kind of dated. Or a fun vibe. Large enough bar for the space. Drinks wildly overpriced for Delray Beach. More Miami priced. $19 for an espresso martini? GTFO. Should be $13-14. Dj played decent tunes, a good mix of danceable music. There really isn't any actual dance floor. Just kind of dance where you are. There's some couches to sit and hang out on. There's also a nice patio in the back with some seating and another bar. It was way too hot to go outside when we were there, but it looked like it could be really nice. I read online there's a vip room, but I didn't see it. It's a pretty small club, nothing especially exciting. I understand they generally get a very young crowd so I probably won't be back anyway. read more

I love this place. Delray is a lively place to go filled with tons of restaurants, places to grab a drink, and fun little shops. One thing it lacks is a nice places to go out with your friends when you feel like dancing in the dark with music blasting and AC keeping you cool! Honey is one of the only places like this around. It's a great alternative to the more trendy bars like Throw Social and Tin Roof. I love the entire vibe here and appreciate that they always have a dj playing great music. If you are the type of person who likes to be outdoors, this checks that box as well. The back portion of this club has no roof , so you can star gaze while sitting next to this giant tree with lights wrapped around it. There's a bar out in this area too, making it a nice place to take a break from the loud tunes. Honey is a great place to go, so if you're out for a night on the Ave and don't know where to go, give it a shot! read more

I get gym shorts, but we waited an hour to get to the front of the line for the bouncer to rudely insinuate a bribe asking for $20 to be let in because we're wearing dress shorts in 82 degree weather. The only reason I am giving this place 1 star is because of a small percentage of the staffs aid to help me. I was out with friends for an NYE celebration with 2 vip tables and well over 1000 dollars in bottle purchases. With an hour and half left til close I wanted to pour the remainder of one bottle into glasses with mixers separately with cash/card to pay for the effort/service. I go to sit down as directed by a server and she was amazing but then a man who was working security felt the need to tell me I needed to do what I was already doing (pour the alcohol into glasses) and then proceeded to tell me before I could say anything that it wasn't enough alcohol to be worthy of me possessing anymore and physically YANKED MY ARM to grab the bottle out of my hand. I pulled back out of pure instinct to try and use words like adults, then he continued to get in my face, call me slurs, said " I BETTER KNOW WHERE THE F*** HES FROM" and then picked me up by my shoulders and shoved (I basically floated) aggressively across the entire club to the exit. the reason this gets one star is because there were 2 women working near the door and stopped me while he was physically assaulting me and asked me what was happening. when I told them they COULDNT believe it either and immediately apologized and tried to make it right. even a different security came up and saw the whole thing and apologized for the security man's behavior. Not to mention this man in his primal rage of physical assault literally broke my 1200 prada bag, continued to say slurs and nasty comments to me and my girlfriend while we sat at the bar to attempt to have one drink after being completely embarrassed and belittled. my girlfriend and I were dead sober, had 3 drinks in the span of 5 hours. this was our first and last drink an HOUR AND HALF before the place closed. NEEDLESS TO SAY I will never ben returning here, until that employee is removed from the establishment I suggest ever be wary of this place. doesn't matter how much you spend, how nice you are, how sober you are or how calm you are, they will resort to VIOLENCE to get their point across. mind you i'm a 125 pound woman.. there was no need for ANY of that to happen. read more

Been here several times in the past, especially for Bachelorette parties.... and there were several on this Sat. night. Small but lively dance club with a VIP lounge area, outside quiet spot and a DJ spinning all night. Pretty sure there's a cover, just like other clubs on the strip. But my cool girlfriend got us in free! Yes, it could happen. We walked by the line of 20 somethings paying at the register. Hey, we must've been smokin... Great place for what it is, however, what a bunch of shady bartenders!!!! I was there with friends, when I asked for my tab, not only was I ignored for 20 minutes but then was told their register drawer, where they keep credit cards and CASH, was stuck. So I could not get my card back. Now, had this been later and I had more to drink, I might of left forgetting that i was waiting. However it was early and I had not nearly enough to forget. Finally 20 minutes, 4 bartenders and 1 bareback later, and watching the lying bartender open her drawer several times to make change, , I stood in front of their service bar, and the register and demanded my card. Nice bar but the place stays pretty dead. A friend invited me on on some ladies night. Pretty much if your area in a dress or skirt you're drinking free til maybe midnight. I wore a romper and I was drinking til at least one. But the place was pretty dead besides the few cluster of women located close to the bar. Once the special was over, I noticed men slowly but continually walked through the doors. Music was great. But after an open bar has been completed you really need to take a seat at the bar. Order a $10 drink and just watch National Geographic take form in Delray. It's freaking awesome to watch the savagery. And then it wasn't. But security handled it. Sooo now the place is filled with people. Boozed up people, aggressive security, and my friend who is calculating the calories of tonight's drinks, and I. The only reason it's 3 stars instead of 4. Some of the people that were causing problems once inside were causing issues at the door and should have never been admitted inside of a cramped space already drunk. They also shouldn't have been able to get additional drinks on that level of initial drunkenness. Leave before 1am and you'll be a fan. read more

Great night life vibe at this place. We came here to celebrate friends birthdays. First off, Delray is awesome. Its on a great vibrant street. Honey is located next to another outdoor bar. Honey has indoor and outdoor area. When you enter you are greeted by the staff. We were on a Birthday list so we were escorted right to our group. It was a beautiful outdoor area with outdoor string lights, a beautiful centerpiece tree with mini lanterns and ofcourse a bar a few steps away. Indoors had great space to dance and mingle with the DJ in a high booth. The music was great. Millennials music and a good variety. The drinks were ok in taste. The staff, bartenders, waitresses, hostess were all friendly. Goodluck if you want to use the restroom as the lines are long. Overall a great night and great ambiance read more

Bacon-infused bourbon that's infused with a ton of bacon that's boiled and strained. Maple syrup, chocolate bitters, Orange zest. And chocolate-dipped bacon. This drink is the fucking the bee's knees. You've earned your stripes, Honey, from the one drink as I chill in your outdoor, woodsy-themed lounge. I've been to honey a few times with older groups in the past, got in no problems. But when I decided to bring my friend that turned 21 a few weeks ago we get kicked out?!?? The bouncers even said happy late birthday when we went it but once we go to the bar, mind you it's 10:40 on a ladies night, the bar is busy so I'm trying to get the male bartenders attention, he ignored me so I look for the next bartender I could possibly order with and she also ignores me too. After about 10-12minutes later of just standing there a female bartender with black hair asks what we'd like, I tell her and she asks for our ID, & that's OK so I give it to her, she's staring at it for a while because she can't do math I can tell...then she asks can I get a credit card to validate this is you, I've been here many times on Thursdays because of the ladies nights and NEVER have they asked me for a credit card to assure that's me in my id. I'm a bartender and there's other ways for you to figure out if an id is fake or not ESPECIALLY in Florida. So then she asks for my friends credit card and my friend only uses online banking because it's 2024 and therefore because we don't have a credit card for her, she told us she cannot serve us and we can leave in a pretty rude way, I'm sure she did all this because of the fact that we look young but it gives you no reason to not serve us when our ID is valid, we could've proved that was us in our id many other ways but she didn't want to serve us in the beginning ASSUMING we were underage. Disappointed and ruined our night, I will never be coming back to honey, if I hear anyone tell me they're going I'm going to tell them just read the reviews they have before you go. this isn't a new thing that happened with just us. read more

Walked up after an evening at Tin Roof hoping to have a good time only to be looked at and told "no" by a security guard because my boyfriend who is in the military "looked too drunk". My boyfriend didn't have a drop of alcohol. Who is control of these places?? When asked why he couldn't get in, we got "I said what I said." Who does this?? If you're looking for a club experience with the whole bottle service and VIP area situation then this is the place for you. There's only a few spots that have this vibe on Atlantic and I highly recommend Honey. I'm new to area and have gone here a few times now and it never disappoints. The crowd is fierce and there for one thing and that is to get #LITTY. Nothing like being surrounded by people with good vibes, at a sick venue, with a kick ass DJ, who know how to get down. The layout is chill - you can rage in the main room with the DJ, kick it in the VIP (behind the DJ) and act like a cool kid, or enjoy the music while you lounge in the back where it's more of an open patio situation. Drink prices are standard and obviously the demand is high (isa club) so get ready to wait a while for that cocktail. #wompwomp that's my only dissatisfaction and it can be solved with more staff. On International Women's Day they promoted having this cool 80s all female band come play. We were so excited this landed on a girlfriends birthday so we decided to make a night of it. We wanted to get there a little early, grab our free check in drink (make sure to take advantage of that yelp perk) and find a seat. Staff seemed unprepared and we later found out the band cancelled. While it wasn't the establishments fault, a backup plan should always be in place. There was awkward silence, not even background music. We waited about 40min for the DJ to arrive and even when he did there was no hurry to have him plug in and start. We were going to grab another round but it almost felt like we were a burden to staff, so we ended up just leaving to go to another spot with the music going strong. I've been here before and had a decent time, but being one of the few places to dance in Delray we were disappointed we couldn't enjoy the night there as planned. read more

I come here Everytime I come to Florida. It's a fun vibe to go get a drink and get your dance on. It's always packed and always a great vibe. There is always a line so get there early and there is also a cover charge to get in. They do offer valet parking because sometimes the street parking is hard to find. The music is diverse which is great but it could be better because the house dj needs to brush up on his skills. Sometimes it feels like he plays the music in a loop. Great venue. The atmosphere is very inviting with both indoor and outdoor areas. I loved the tree with its avian population hanging out with us. Were they watching what I ate and drank? I hope not... I could be in trouble. lol The staff was great and very attentive. They kept the bar moving and made some really cool, unusual drink. My favorite was the Berry Innocence. Most of my loyal followers known me as a person of true taste who critiques top of the line food spots all over the country. However, I felt this was necessary to change up from the norm. Honey is a Night Club in Delray Beach that I attended this past weekend for some libations and good music. This was no regular night though...DJ Yaz & Sum were at the helm of one of the most electric sets I've ever heard. I was essentially floating through the club, uncontrollably fist pumping and put myself in at least a 2,000 calorie deficit from cutting a rug. I would HIGHLY recommend attending if you see their names on any of the headliners! read more

Want to go to a place that has signature drinks and a cool vibe.. HONEY is the place. This is my first time visiting this spot. I was supporting a co worker who was a contestant for the mixologist signature drinks (which he won) and I enjoyed my self. The drinks are pricey ($13.00) but it's worth it, great taste. Came in last night with a group of my friends and my girlfriend. As i walk in and hand my ID to the Bouncer "Jazz" he say to me "OPEN MY DOOR" In a rude manner. I look behind me and notice the door was closing; it was blown shut by the wind. I thought he was joking at first by how rude he was talking and looking at me until i realized he was serious. I mentioned to him "must've been the wind... sry." He responds to me in a rude fashion and refers to my girlfriend as a B!tch. I honestly thought i heard him wrong at first because i dont understand why he would react in such a manner but unfortunately that was not the case multiple people heard it and spoke to me about it after the incident. I mentioned this to the bartenders later on and they apologized on his behalf. They even offered a shot on the house which was kind of them todo. I did not write this to give a bad review or complain. More so i hope this gets to someone in management so hopefully this doesn't happen again next time i visit honey. I like this place, they have good drinks, good music, and typically have good staff (i go regularly.) I just hope this guy Jazz doesn't continue this unnecessarily rude and unprofessional behavior to me or anyone else im with in the future. read more
