Chose this restaurant randomly while walking with my family through Delray. I'm glad we did, this was a pleasant experience. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and clean. The server was friendly and the food was very good! Only complaint is the portions were small for the hefty prices. We ordered a few appetizers and two pizza pies. Chicken cutlets - these were nice fresh and juicy. I like that the lemon wedges were seasoned and gave a nice kick to the cutlets. Portion was a bit small for the price 4/5 ($16) Shrimp oreganata - shrimp, parsley, garlic, lemon, breadcrumb. These were cooked nicely, shrimp fresh and flavorful and not overcooked. Although good, these were just 5 shrimp. Overpriced. 4/5 ($20) Burrata - Filone bread topped with burrata, strawberries, balsamic, brown butter, and there was something crunchy on top that was good not sure what they were. This was good too but also overpriced. 4/5 ($20) Honey ryder pizza - mozzarella, pepperoni and hot honey. Very good pizza. Nice and fresh 4/5 ($23) Johnny Utah - bacon, pineapple, mozzarella and red onion. This was alright. Toppings were a little sparse. 3/5 ($24) Usually I would take off two stars when there's a hefty price tag and small portions but beach club will be an exception because the food was all prepared very well and tasted great. Very hip new spot on Atlantic. All the pretty people were there. Arched ceiling was impressive, though it does seem to focus and echo the loudish music. Bathroom was clean and neat. I'd give the food a 4 overall. Ingredients a 5. Pizza crust 5. Concepts are good but just missing on total construction and integration. (fabulous) The dessert was life changing -- A cinnamon bun in a skillet with some frosting topped with a vanilla Gelato-- words can't do it justice-- and as a really nice finishing touch, one of the owners Adam stopped by the table and was super sincere on how our experience was! Made a reservation for 7:30 on open table a few weeks ago. When we arrived at 7:17, we were told very abruptly "the table will be ready at 7:30." I found the hostess brash and unfriendly. The other hostess was lovely. We came back at 7:30 on the dot and were seated immediately. Our waitress Marina was very sweet. She was friendly and attentive, despite the black card method. She came and checked on us a few times. We order the beet salad with yogurt, the chicken cutlet, shrimp oreganato, Caesar salad and a pizza. Everything had tons of flavor, was hot when it needed to be and cold when it needed to be. It was served as it's ready, which is a bit odd in my opinion but we got all apps so it was fine. Caesar salad was dressed perfectly! Nothing better than a well done Caesar salad, and this was just that. Probably my favorite thing honestly! The beet salad was fantastic, just the right amount of basil, oil and salt... just delicious. Chicken cutlet was pounded thin and served crispy with a lemon wedge. Juicy and tons of flavor for a basic chicken breast. Everything we ate was dynamic, except the shrimp. We did not care for that and felt the sauce on the bottom was a bit bland. My only other critique was the noise volume. I'm sure it's because you're competing with the loud bar next door, but we did found it very loud. The place is gorg and has a cool coastal vibe. Came with my run club inside is nice started off with a Whiskey and ginger beer very nice, service was prompt for how busy it is for a Tuesday, inside is nice great for date night, or hanging out with a casual crowd. The food was amazing. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. We had like four of the appetizers and they were all delicious. Especially the calamari. Our server Amy was so incredibly sweet and attentive. Management was also on top of it. One of our appetizers came out & was missing an element. The dish was fixed and taken off of the bill. Cocktails were good, strong and not sugary. They really just like hit it out of the ballpark. World's away from like the five other restaurants this location has been since I moved here. Sat at the bar for happy hour. Our bartender Kelso was awesome, making sure we were able to secure a coveted slice of the FREE Happy Hour pizza. He's a cocktail aficionado, making sure I was happy with my cocktail. I ordered the chix cutlet Caesar sandwich with a side of potatoes and hell yes hell yes!! It was freaking delicious! I could've eaten like ten of them easily. I was so obsessed with my own food that I didn't try anything else....but I'm excited to try different things on the menu. For my drink I just got a Virgin Bloody Mary and that as well was very tasty! Our server nick i believe was his name, was good and attentive, smiled the whole time and explained how the menu worked. Beach Club is in the former Lionfish restaurant space and I like it better as it's welcoming with a great staff. It features a small but interesting menu but not in a good way. We opted for a few pizzas and both were served at room temperature. How does this even happen? Were they pre-made? The Clam Pizza didn't have many clams and at $28 I expected more and while it lacked clams the taste was fine and the crust was very good as was the other pizza and both would have been good or better if they were hot. A Shrimp dish was salty and slightly dry and wasn't very good. My Margarita seemed to be made from a pre-made mix and as such had an artificial taste similar. As mentioned service is excellent, seating is comfortable and the vibe is welcoming and that's their strong point. The restaurant is new and perhaps we went on an off day but I will go back and give it another try. read more

It's a beautiful new restaurant and I had high expectations for the pizza considering that's the bulk of their menu for main courses. The chicken cutlet as an appetizer was absolutely delicious and I'd definitely get that again! Some really good wine choices however, the cheapest red wine by the bottle was $80. For my entrée, I got the regular cheese pizza (Famous Rays). The pizza hardly had any cheese on it whatsoever. I've seen photos of the pizza as I always check reviews and photos before dining at a new restaurant, and the pictures show parm sprinkled over the top, as well as a normal amount of pizza on the actual pie, Mine was not presented anything like those photos and it had about half that amount of mozzarella. I put my card up to get the servers attention to ask for red pepper flakes and Parm, and it took about 10 minutes or more to get someone over and bring it back, so by that time I had already eaten half the pizza and it had already gotten cold. The crust did taste great. I'm hoping there will be more consistency with the pizza in the future. read more

Beach Club is the best new spot on the Ave. From the second you walk in you are greeted by their smiling staff. The bar is huge and the bartenders are amazing specifically Mitch and Megan. You can't beat the free happy hour pizza which is the best pizza in Delray. The managers Michael and Adam make sure everything is perfect. The restaurant is not too loud with coastal vibes and something for everyone. 10/10 recommend read more

We decided to go here with a large group during the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Delray. I was really impressed with how this restaurant handled such a crazy busy day. Whether you were at a table or standing in the front watching the parade, the wait staff was organized, friendly, fast and on it! Though I wouldn't usually eat there (I'm gluten free and they don't have a lot of options), people we were with loved the pizzas and the smash burgers (they looked delicious). Food was decent, but the service was disappointing. After we sat down, we didn't get water for about 10 minutes even though we asked our waiter, Nick, right away. About 20 minutes later, our food came, but we still didn't have silverware. Also, two of the plates came out about 20 minutes before the burrata, so the timing of the dishes was very off. Between the dripping AC vents (only on the customer side, they wipe the vents on the bar tenders side), the bizarre service, and the clearly written by AI responses to other reviews, I would say this place won't be in business much longer. It was pretty dead when we were there. The foods not bad, at least what we tried but this place is SEVERELY mismanaged. I would describe it as a college bar run by frat boys. It's a shame because 2 out of 3 of the items we tried were great 4/5 items. The free pizza is a nice perk for happy hour but was absolutely CHARRED, but it's free so I can't complain. We asked the bar tender for a recommendation, then we ordered that item and it never showed up... The group I was with all ordered drinks and not one of us was offered another after the first one. Our glasses just sat empty for 30 minutes. We are all former food service employees at some point in our lives so we were disappointed by that. Something else that didn't make sense was our bill. The bill that was put down was for a higher dollar amount, the bill I signed was for a lower dollar amount and what was charged to my credit card was the higher amount. Extremely misleading... The staff seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves and eating at the north side of the bar than helping customers. Weird place. Food = 4/5, service = 1.5/5. Don't think I'd come back, my complaints seem like a common theme among other reviews. read more
