The main appeal for this spot is the location. It's a great people watching spot with nice ambiance. The food is decent, I'd give it a 3/5. I ordered the teriyaki bowl with chicken and it had no teriyaki flavor or sauce anywhere. The chicken was probably slightly marinated but I wish it tasted more like teriyaki. The grilled salmon was tasty but the poached egg that came with the Brussels sprout Cesar was full of water and undercooked so I literally didn't even eat it. The strawberry lemonade was 80% water, stick with the hangover cure. The hangover cure was very refreshing. The servers split the tips so they were all pretty helpful and attentive. Probably a good spot for cocktails but I went with my grandma so virgin drinks were the way to go. All in all I'd be back for a cocktail and the fries. The food is also pretty pricey. $11 French fries, $9 for a non-alcoholic beverage. Also when I went, the menu was limited. They weren't serving any of the 'Shareables'. We called in advance and made a reservation for 10 people, and they were absolutely amazing and accommodating and reserved the inside seating for us. Staff gave us a 45 min window between other reservations whch was plenty. Food came out quickly and was solid. Nothing over the top, gotta have again but good portions, quality and taste. Very disappointed. This place is completely overrated and overpriced. I've had better pancakes at a basic diner for a fraction of the cost. The pancakes were dry and nothing special. Service was awful. The waitress came to our table three times total: to take the order, drop off the food, and bring the check. No check-ins, no attentiveness, no customer service. If you're not willing to provide service, I'm not sure why you're working as a waitress. I paid $9 for a juice that was mostly ice -- I maybe got a quarter cup of actual juice. Even after specifically asking for no ice, it still came filled with ice. Overall, a super bad experience. Definitely won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Went for Mother's Day today. Made the reservation over one month ago specifically for inside. I don't enjoy sitting outside. The only time available for inside was 10 AM. When we got there the woman hostess barely said hello and certainly no Happy Mother's Day. Then she began to guide us to a patio table. I said no, I reserved inside. She said no I didn't and I said I'm sure I did. She didn't seem to care so much, told me if I wanted inside I'd have to wait 20 minutes. No apology. We went to the table as no one wanted to wait. There's more outside seating than indoor and although it was hot, it was shaded with some fans. They were able to seat us as an incomplete party while we waited for the rest of our party. I liked my food and I tasted the Bloody Mary which was exceptional. I was gonna give this place 4 stars but when I looked at the receipt at home I changed it to 3. Not once did our server inform us of any up-charges and I don't like surprises. $2 to change the cheese on a cheeseburger? $1 extra for flavored margaritas that is on their bottomless brunch? Informing us of the total and asking us to pay without offering to see the itemized bill and not putting in effort to split the check? Not informing us that there's an additional fee to use credit card? Not taking off a drink that was sent back after only a small taste? This place will rob you of your money and milk it too. I was so looking forward to trying it and although my meal was good it's not something I'd write home to my mom about. Our server did the bare minimum taking care of us and we had to ask twice for a to go box, a coke, and the bill. There's lots of good brunch spots. I wouldn't suggest coming here.
