The espresso martini was good as was the Point Break, with tequila and guava juice, very nice, very tropical. Avalon Beach House used to be Avalon Steak & Seafood House. The first time I went in 2022, I remember it being more of a traditional steakhouse. The Ave has grown significantly around it over the years, but it's still one of the staple restaurants in a central location. Overall, it was great meal with good service and nice atmosphere. It's sill one of the gems. We started with the wedge salad and cheesy bread. We wanted to get the Filet Mignon and the Prime Cut Ribeye to share them, but they were out of the Filet which was a bit surprising. Instead, we got the Crispy Chicken Piccata. They were both excellent. The fingerlings and asparagus were good and loved the red wine sauce. The crispy chicken was not too heavy, with lemon and an ample arugula salad. I don't remember the name of desert, but it was a combo of a browny with an Oreo cookie layer (which the kid in me couldn't refuse) with a scoop vanilla ice cream. It was great.

We reserved two cabanas, and from start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive throughout the day, making sure our group had everything we needed. Despite the size of our party, service remained friendly and efficient. A special shout-out to the first DJ of the day, who absolutely set the tone for the event. The music selection was excellent, with a great mix that appealed to both the younger crowd and the adults. He kept the energy up without it being overwhelming and created a fun, upbeat atmosphere that everyone enjoyed. The venue offered a great balance of entertainment, food, drinks, and social space, making it a perfect location for a celebration with guests of all ages. We had an amazing time and would definitely consider returning for future events.

The place itself is really nice with the doors open and good atmosphere and their staff was super friendly and was always checking in on this. We were sat at a table near the bar which was great as it was inside and had a nice breeze with the fans and AC. Damien was our server and was wonderful at explaining the menu and the concept of their scratch kitchen. For our drinks we tried the classic and guava-habanero margaritas. We ended up liking the classic more just because the fresh ingredients were reminiscent of those we had in Mexico. It was a little too warm out to be doubling down on spice in our drinks too. We ordered a brisket quesadilla and for our tacos: carnitas, chorizo, and crispy fish. For our second round (not pictured), my husband tried the spicy chicken. He was warned the spicy chicken is exceptionally spicy but he didn't think that warning was warranted so maybe don't be afraid to try it if you're not big on spice. We had tap water that they left a large bottle on the table for. Even though we didn't drink too much of it, they still replaced it with a fresh bottle after a while since it probably got warm. One staff member even came to wipe up the water that had sweat off our drinks. Overall, El Camino exceeded our expectations. All of the staff was kind and courteous and the food was off the chart. And those happy hour prices are hard to beat! We definitely will be back!

Strong resort style pool, patio and bar with a 360 degree view of Delray Beach. We sat immediately at an inside wooden slated table next to the cocktail bar. The room featured warm, rustic elements, such as the thick wooden beams secured by metalwork. The server Justin was attentive, professional with a great personality. The Jalapeno Cheddar Smash Burger was huge and juicy with just a hint of peppery heat - definitely surprised by the flavor combination of the cherry pepper jam and bacon. The appetizer was corn tortilla chips and toasted naan served with large chunks of fresh mahi-mahi. The gender neutral bathroom was clean and offered soap pumps next to a modern rectangular semi-inset ceramic washbasin. This restaurant is a must try if in Delray Beach.
