Another winning dinner this month at MIA. We were a party of 6, shared Grilled Artichokes, Tuna Tacos, and a couple of orders of Coconut Shrimp Tacos. Entrees included the spectacular Seared Scallops with Risotto, Chicken Parm, Fire Roasted Shrimp with Forbidden Black Rice Charred Sesame Romaine and Thai Red Curry Sauce... and their excellent Bronzino Hong Kong Style. If you haven't been to MIA, ya gotta check it out... so fantastic. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

What do you do when faced with the decision of which appetizers to order during happy hour at MIA? Have every one of them, of course! Everything on the happy hour "Eat" menu sounded so tempting, we tried all 7 items and enjoyed all of them. Note that the happy hour is exactly one hour long from 5 pm to 6 pm daily, which is a bit tight. The good news is that it's available throughout the entire restaurant. But before indulging in all the food, we ordered glasses of wine from the happy hour drink menu. Can't beat the $6 price! The drink menu also features a handful of interesting cocktails for $12 each. Now on to the food tasting: Wagyu short rib tostada - the beef was tasty and tender, but the tostada tortilla shell was overdone (dare I say "burnt"?) which caused this item to be one of our least favorites. Grilled Caesar salad - the grilled lettuce added an interesting dimension to the dish. It was a good salad with a nice dressing. When I asked if chicken could be added, the server said the only chicken option was fried. Surprising and disappointing. We passed on the chicken addition. Burrata cheese with ciabatta bread - The burrata was good, with a balsamic dressing. The ciabatta bread was a bit too thick and overwhelming for the cheese. Perhaps smaller, thinner crostini bread would have made a better pairing. Street corn with tortilla chips - Fantastic! This was a creamier recipe than I had expected. It worked especially well with the chips because the kernels of corn stuck together and stayed on the chip. Coconut shrimp tacos - Another delightful dish. The shrimp were fairly heavily fried though. Great taste with a spicy Thai chili sauce! Fried rice - I loved the preparation and the flavors of this dish. It had a fried egg on top which was perfectly prepared. And the rice had a delightfully spicy sauce. Wagyu "big mac" sliders - They were as good as the name sounds, with lettuce, cheese, onion and a special MIA sauce. Yum! Would we order everything again? Yes! (Although we'd request the tostada be more lightly toasted.) Would we order everything again all at the same meal? Probably not. It was simply too much food as the portions were good sized for appetizers. The server was very nice and accommodating. He checked on us frequently throughout our meal and quickly cleared the plates as we finished the various items. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming feel. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our visit. Next time, maybe we'll indulge in a few of the entrees from the regular menu and the chef's specials menu in addition to the fabulous appetizers.

One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. Located on the corner of a quaint plaza in Delray Beach, MIA Kitchen transports you to a bustling restaurant packed with small unique details in the decor and the menu. There's patio seating outside, high tops and bar area plus booth and picnic-table style seating in the main dining area. I made a reservation online for Saturday evening but there was only patio options. We decided to go early to see if we could walk in and wait for an inside table. Luckily at 6 pm on a Saturday, we only had to wait 10 mins to be seated. Our server Jim was very nice and went over the menu in depth including the specials. What really blew me away is their attention to detail. Our plates were swapped between every course. Jim always noticed when my water glass was low and when I needed new utensils. Chef Jason personally came by to introduce himself and explain the inspiration behind his amazing creations. With his background in French cuisine and his wife's cultural influence from Hong Kong, the menu at MIA had a blend of Asian flavors with French highlights. He intricately checks every dish that comes out of the kitchen and makes sure it is up to the high standard he expects. Everything was delicious! Coconut Shrimp tacos - thinly breaded shrimp with a tangy sweet sauce on a light flour tortilla Clams - fresh, nicely sized with shallots and parsley butter. The soft bread it came with was perfect for dipping. PB & J Foie Gras - creamy and delightful with a nutty sauce and a fruity jam pairing to cut thru the richness Wagyu Beef Carpaccio - my absolute favorite dish. The thinly sliced beef was fresh, topped with onions scallions and celery leaf it adds texture and helps with the richness of the truffles. The crispy truffles really make the dish. Pan seared Chilean Sea Bass with butternut squash, edamame, mushrooms with truffle kombu glace is a must try. The filet was cooked with crispy edges and a soft buttery center. The bed of veggies makes the dish light and everything complimented each other so well. Will definitely be back again and next time must leave room for dessert.

Came here on a Friday night for a casual dinner and had a great experience! The service was excellent, and I really appreciated that they were so attentive to my pup. The waiter made sure he had water and even gave him some pets. We ordered the Wagyu sliders, skirt steak, and pork belly fried rice to share. Everything was tasty and hit the spot.

Who knew?!?! I was pleasingly surprised by the presentation of this meal, the warmth and reception of the staff and chef and overjoyed by the food. the live entertainment was on point and a perfect addition to the cool vibe this place has. Dinner with friends was amazing. Specialty dishes made just for us. Pork belly fried rice, beef tar tar, veal chop, hanger steak, street corn and it goes on. The pasta left me speechless. Just wow.

Dinner under the stars and moon.... Romantic...

Delicious meal, great atmosphere, accented by a beautiful and very accommodating waitress, Lucia. The Pork Belly Fried Rice with an egg on top and the Green Salad are two of my favorites. The Sea Bass sandwich, not so much.

This place is amazing! Food, staff, drinks, they have it all. I've been thinking it's been a while since I've been and I wanted to take my husband for a night out. He has good taste and I've been talking about MIA for sometime. Since we walked in without a reservation we started our night at the bar. We ordered some cocktails from the menu to start. We got snow day and hot girl winter. They were both really good but I gave the hot girl to my guy and took his snow day since he prefers more spice in his life and I wanted the candy cane on top of snow day. We got the burrata, octopus, ravioli and a side of onion rings. The burrata is a beauty to look at and the raviolis were my favorite! The octopus was very good having a nice char taste served over hummus with radishes. We got a bottle of the decoy red blend to share after our cocktails. We then went to a table to get the veal chop a la vodka style. The chef came out to touch the cheese on top and shave truffles on top. We paired it with a side of linguini and another bottle of red. Of course we had to finish the night off with dessert so we opted for the cereal killer. The brownie was overly sweet but the strawberry ice creamed toned it down a little. Also having the creme brûlée on the side was a nice switch back and forth. All in all we had an amazing night and my hubby agrees that MiA is an exceptional place.

Well--the good news about trying restaurants with similar names as one of them is bound to hit. We drove past this place several times and have it a whirl and it was home run. The place has daily specials and we tried the mushroom and tostadas and then the menu staple of chicken parm as well as clams with a black angel hair pasta. With the exception of the mushroom fried which was a little greasy for our taste -the food was terrific: fresh served hot and tasty. The service was terrific and the waiter offered some suggestions. Ambience was good and we heard this place gets packed and you need reservations a but we got in and didn't wait: we'll be back again.

Sat at the bar with my girlfriend and service was great! We had a bottle of barolo that was delicious, hummus was great and so was the burrata . Only thing is I think the yellow in the watermelon puree was mustard, it kind of threw me off.. I would order again without the mustard puree. We also had shrimp tacos, they are so good! Had an Asian kick to it. But The fruity pebble dessert was ridiculously amazing, its butter cake with fruity pebble ice cream, topped with the cereal and a creme brulee. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Do they have duck on the menu?

Not on their main menu, but often the chef features it on his specials menu

Hi is there plenty of outdoor seating and do you still take reservations for it?

Yes, plenty of outside seating and making a reservation on the weekend is a must!

The menus is creative inspired Indian with some Asian fusion mixed in. A little something for everyone. We ordered 2 entrees. The Wood Grilled Spanish Octopus and the Chicken Masala. We were sharing both and started with the Octopus. It was so tender and served on top of crispy potato and with a green apple nuoc cham - a vibrant tart dipping sauce. They had me here, it was so good. The the Chicken Masala came out. This was one of the best Chicken Tikka dishes, I've had. Not too spicy and so flavorful. I was so impressed. Not only was the food and service on point, but the next morning I got an email from the restaurant thanking me for dining. Now thats excellent customer service. A fabulous addition to Mid-Boca and I can't wait to go back.

Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. He was very engaging, a wonderful communicator, and we made our selections which started with the bacon wrapped dates (YUM). Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. This restaurant is upscale, yet with value pricing. Altogether, my husband and I encourage you to enjoy a lovely meal, and make sure to ask for KC! You won't be disappointed!

Also loved the atmosphere once again, it's just a very nice, open place to enjoy a meal and have a drink. We got a bunch of appetizers to start. The house made Ricotta with cracked pepper and olive oil was very delicious. I also loved the crispy zucchini slices, which were topped with peppadew peppers and a chili vinaigrette. Outstanding stuff. The seared ahi tuna was next level. The fish was fresh and beautifully seated and the mix of cucumber, aji amarillo, pineapple, cilantro and wasabi cream was sensational. One of the best dishes they make at Sixty Vines. The absolute best of the bunch was the truffle fries! They were amazing. They are basically crispy layered potatoes, almost like stacks of filo dough, fried and topped with pecorino, chives and lemon truffle cream. They were so good we ordered a second one! Considering how wonderful everything was to this point, we were expecting nothing but great things for the next course. However they completely dropped the ball and basically ruined our meal with lackluster entrees. Our party ordered the steak fries with chimichurri sauce, the double cabrenet burger, and several filet mignons. The amount of time it took to get the food was unreasonable. Once the appetizers were finished we had to wait somewhere around 20 to 25 minutes to get our mains, and the place was not that busy. I assume that the waitress just forgot or was busy with something else. As for the food, the quality of the steaks was not good all around. Everybody who got the filet mignon commented that the texture was chalky and weird. They were also all overcooked. And oddly, they decided to slice the steak before serving it, so it was very dry. Why would you pre slice a steak, all that's going to do is let the juices seep out and make the temperature drop. I honestly don't get it. The steak that came with the steak fries, I think it was a skirt steak, was also not the best cut. It was super fatty and a little chewy. The fries were good though but the meat was terrible. Finally the burger was completely overdone despite the person ordering it medium rare. Overall, not the best ending to a meal that started with such amazing dishes. Really striking contrast. And actually it made me think that I probably will not go back to Sixty Vines anytime soon. For a $350 meal they have to be doing a lot better. Dried out, overcooked steaks and burgers isn't going to cut it.
