The Food! The Service and the ambiance all 5 ! Went this past Friday for dinner, party of four. Made a reservation as I wanted a booth. Walking in hostess asked " are you Phil?" Your friends are at the bar and your booth is ready when you are! After sampling some bourbon creations at the bar ( Mykal is awesome) we went to our booth. Marissa our server came right over got us fresh drinks water and menus. Marissa was great; friendly, funny and helped my guests navigate the menu as they were first timers. After giving my input we ordered apps; bbq eggrolls aka crack! So good and addictive,! Deviled eggs and decandant biscuits with honey and butters. Honestly I good make a meal of all apps. Anyway three of us ordered the flat iron steak and one Nashville hot chicken. Because I had newbys with me they insisted on dessert sooooo.... banana bread pudding and apple cobbler bread pudding! Truly didn't need dessert but damn! Justin the manager came by no less than twice to check up. Staff was attentive without being annoying. Whenever I have friends looking for something other than: Italian, sushi, steakhouse Batch has become my go to. I love that the menu is upscale diner! A lot of southern comfort food that hits on all cylinders. Can't recommend this joint enough! read more

I wanted to love this place, but it missed the mark. Our server was great, very attentive and friendly, but I wasn't a fan of the food. We ordered a couple apps, the smoked grilled wings and BBQ egg rolls. The wings needed to be cooked more, the skin was only crispy on a couple of them, on one side. The egg rolls were ok, just mediocre. Not much flavor in my opinion, the sauce had to do the work. For our entrees we both got burgers. I had the batch burger and my husband got the other burger option. Don't remember the name but it had crispy onions, pickles etc. Again, they were just ok. Burger meat was tough, bacon was good though, pecan maple I believe. The B1 aioli was flavorful and the fries were pretty good. A bit greasy but well-salted. Overall, just not the best quality food in my opinion. There was a guitar player/singer performing on the outside patio, but we sat inside. You could still hear the music faintly which was good for us as we wanted to talk. It does get a bit loud indoors but nothing crazy. It was Friday night so a little busy. Seating at the high top was comfortable, nice cushioned seats. Floors are very slippery so be careful. Not horrible, but not great. Kind of middle of the road in my opinion. read more

Had a great meal at Batch Southern Kitchen & Tap in Delray! We started with the BBQ Egg Rolls and Deviled Eggs. Both appetizers were packed with flavor, the egg rolls had the perfect crispy texture, and the deviled eggs were a delicious Southern twist. For the entrées, we had the Jambalaya and the Carolina Smoked Brisket Sandwich. The jambalaya was hearty, well-seasoned, and loaded with meat, while the brisket sandwich was smoky, tender, and paired perfectly with the barbecue sauce. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked just right. Between the food, the laid-back atmosphere, and the friendly service, Batch is definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're in Delray and looking for some quality Southern comfort food. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu! read more

Superb service! We stopped in for happy hour and ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and the loaded tots. Both were very very good, served hot and fresh. You can tell that the tots were made in house and they were delicious. We were not happy with the happy hour drink on the menu and it was kind of pricey. I am hoping that they would add more drinks to the happy hour menu and we would like to go back to try more items. The place was clean and large and decorated nicely. read more

06-29 : It's amazing that even when Delray Marketplace has nothing going on, the parking lot is still full. Likewise, it's amazing when even though Batch is almost empty, and even though we're only a party of 2, based on some arbitrary large party rule, they won't sit me until my other person is here... Fun. Other than that, everything was great. Steve (our bartender) kept the cold beers coming, and our Happy Hour was happy indeed! read more

I had such a nice time at batch in West Palm Beach that we decided to meet our friends back at the Batch in the Delray Marketplace. We made a reservation at OpenTable and found a parking spot in the large free lot. There is outdoor dining as well as booths and tables indoors. The large bar serves those that are dining outside and inside. The Hillbilly 75 sangria with Brut, Strawberry Moonshine, St-Germain & Basil was refreshing & amazing. I couldn't wait to have the smoky BBQ egg rolls again with pulled pork short rib, root beer BBQ Sauce & buttermilk ranch in a huge crispy egg roll. By now everything was good & nothing else mattered! We shared biscuits & burnt ends, bringing half home. We shared an apple cobbler for dessert. Friends enjoyed their salads, burgers, fish ... Priscilla was great, personable on point, she took good care of all of us read more

Met friends Daren R and his lovely wife Laura here for dinner tonight. A fun vibe atmosphere with lots of customers and great food passing by our table. We had dined here before and we're glad to return. My wife and I had the fabulous Deviled Eggs, (and always order them at all Batch locations, they are so great!), and an order of biscuits to start. Pleasant place to start or finish your evening. read more

I went to Batch Local Kitchen in Delray at the Delray Market Place. It is a scratch kitchen and bar with Southern style comfort foods, in house made drinks and liquor and more My server, Marissa is Amazing! A huge indoor and outdoor bar with a beautiful patio and dining area along with table sand booths inside offer many seating options. A few TVs more towards the bar and even live music playing outside during my visit. I did have reservations which I could see being good; I don't think they really were needed during my visit, but it helps with the large amount of seating options. There is plenty of parking available; both street parking adjacent to the restaurant or a parking lot directly behind Batch. Upon arriving, I was seated immediately and had a wonderful server that took their time to review the ins and outs of the menus and the specials that were available as well. Marissa showed me the Seasonal Prix Fixe Dinner, a Three Course Meal for $35 with a Starter a Main and a Dessert. Ordered the Deviled Eggs for starters, made with creme fraiche instead of mustard with whole grain mustard, chives and candied bacon A very smooth and rich tangy flavor. The other side of the table ordered the Smoked BBQ Egg Rolls which were delicious. Stuffed with tender flavorfully pulled pork served with sweet, succulent root beer bbq sauce and buttermilk ranch. For my Main, I went with the Chicken and Waffles; available as regular or Nashville Hot, I opt for the traditional fried chicken. One of the best half chickens I've had in my life! Crispy and tender, moist bite with just the most savory flavor that I found out comes from them brining it in sweat tea. The Waffles were buttery and light with just the right of sweetness to counter the savory chicken. Paired with a bourbon maple syrup and honey butter. Amazing! For Dessert the Bread Pudding was my choice. The Silky vanilla custard was sweet and succulent and good, but had what seemed like to be imitation Banana that was too overpowering for my liking. The Banana Brûlée was very nice and caramelized beautifully. The crushed nilla wafer cookies mixed with the pastry cream but still felt too over done in banana flavor to my taste buds liking. The other half of the table went with the Apple Cobbler Bread Pudding. The caramelized apples, were warm and tender while crispy and nicely flavored with a cinnamon bread pudding with whiskey caramel, and ice cream on the side. It was really balanced, sweet but not overflavorfilled. The Jalapeño & Pineapple Moonshine was eye opening and full of flavor. The fresh pineapple made it sweet and juicy while the spicy jalapeño gave it a warm, fiery burn that the after taste from the White Lightn' corn whiskey leaving a mix of sweet fruit and hot pepper. The House Made Root Beer is on another level. With honey, Tahitian vanilla bean and wintergreen it has a velvety smooth texture with a cooling herbal flavor and a rich aromatic, floral after taste. read more

Came to Batch for the 90s brunch. We decided to sit at the bar, and vibe out close to the dj. The staff was great, dancing and singing along with the patrons, making it a fun experience. The food itself was fantastic. If you are a fan of biscuits and gravy this was the place. The salmon Benedict was fantastic as well after our server suggested it. This is one of my new favorite places in Delray offering the option of indoor or outdoor seating and the drinks are delicious. Can't wait to see the other themed events. read more

I just need to start off by saying the service and food were nothing short of amazing! Jen took care of us and her server Danielle did too, we had a great time. The food was outstanding and the ambiance was great. We can't wait to party there again! read more

"Service was kind, the pacing fine, But waiting on the check made me lose my dang mind?! Pretty good food, slick branding, bar was aglow, Vibe felt artificial--where's the Southern soul?" I must say this place was underwhelming in many ways. But nothing really went wrong. So four stars. It's only fair. But I must lay out my position for probably never visiting again. Service was solid from start to finish for the most part. Our server was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable butI tell you what, there is something in today's service industry where the server waits forever even after dessert and asking if you need anything else---they take FOREVER to bring the check. I'm like damn, just sit it there and we'll pay when we're ready. Ugh...but I digress.... What fell short was the setting itself, which didn't reflect the Southern batch kitchen identity the restaurant presents to offer. Rather than feeling rooted in a comfort-driven, food-forward concept, the space leans heavily into a bar/nightlife vibe. The food itself is good, but the overall experience felt overly packaged. The branding and presentation around "Southern batch cooking" came across as more manufactured than authentic, and the concept didn't fully land for me. I kept thinking: I don't believe you, Southern Batch Kitchen. I stayed with the safer, more straightforward menu items and didn't branch out much. I would like to try other dishes, but the pricing made experimentation feel like a risk. For the cost, I expected a stronger sense of confidence and cohesion in both flavor and concept. Pictured below: Fried Green Tomatoes, Deviled Eggs, Bread Pudding w/Apples. I may (eh...) give it another chance, but as it stands, the experience felt more curated than soulful. Another review giving it to you straight, no chaser by Elizabeth S. aka Lizz aka The Hungry Poet. Enjoy! read more

Ordered baby back ribs takeout for over $30 bucks. Got 9 bones worth of ribs, a tiny foam cup of terrible coleslaw (literally one fork full) and a French fry serving that would make a McDonald's small look big. Then had an actual dinner. Getting real tired of the "value" of restaurants who give you nothing for your money and want bigger and bigger tips. Two of us got food for over $80, and then still had to get a meal. We love the hospitality at Batch. The wait staff is friendly and the food was yummy. We started with the burnt ends as an appetizer. They were crunchy and flavorful. For my main I ordered the Bourbon Maple Salmon with the broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Before our meals came out the manager came over and said they're recooking my salmon as it was not up to their standards. I didn't even ask. I thought that was great and didn't even notice with the timing. My husband ordered the mac attack with fried chicken and enjoyed it. For drinks I ordered the campfire espresso martini and my husband got a beer. My martini was pretty and the torched marshmallow was a nice touch, but i don't think espresso martinis are for me as this was my second one ever and it's just bitter to me. We also ordered a slice of the Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Tart. It was to die for! So yummy! read more

I have eaten here for four years. Easy location, good choice of meal selections and excellent wait staff. Sadly the kitchen has gone down. How is it that a large meal warrants a quarter size ketchup and no good tomatoes on a basic hamburger? This place should be packed on location alone. If they improved the overall quality it would be worth a second try. read more

What a fantastic spot! I was so impressed with Batch Scratch Kitchen -- it's the perfect place for everything from happy hour to corporate events, or just a great night out with family. We loved the outdoor seating, and there was even live entertainment and a whiskey tasting going on while we were there -- such a fun bonus! The menu is full of fresh, made-to-order options, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. I had the salmon kale salad (so fresh and flavorful) and the deviled eggs, which were perfectly done. My mom went for the fried green tomatoes with creamy grits and the Cobb salad with salmon-- and we were both satisfied. The tomatoes were crispy and flavorful, and those grits were next-level creamy. My daughter had the chicken tenders with fries, and they were clearly made fresh. Portions are generous -- we ended up taking leftovers home because we just couldn't finish it all. Between the great service, vibrant atmosphere, and delicious food, I'm already planning our next visit. Highly recommend! Batch Scratch Kitchen is a must-visit in West Delray. read more

Everything I've tried on the menu here has been pretty amazing. Including the shrimp and grits, and a Cajun chicken pasta dish, I've had twice it was so good and also a huge portion. (Twice now, I've had significant leftovers and I've accidentally left it on the bar lol! I suppose that speaks for the strength of the drinks!! (Blackberry bourbon lemonade is what I recommend...) Friendly service and a great location / open bar great for people-watching outside /overlooking the "hooky" movie theater . First time here and was impressed with the place. I like the way they use the space... a really nice bar, tables inside and a few different outside spaces. Wanted to have a couple of drinks before seeing the Rolling Stones movie at the IMAX next door, so it was a perfect spot. It was Happy Hour at the bar, until 7pm, so ordered a few food items from the HH menu. Smoked BBQ Egg Rolls w/Slow Roasted Pulled Pork and Short Rib... Pulled Pork Sliders, Brisket Sliders, and an order of Sweet Wings. They were all ok, but next time I'm here, I'll order off the regular menu. Danya, behind the bar,, was great... attentive and personable, as was other staff who came out from the kitchen with the food. read more

Our server, Abbie was a delight! Food was amazing and we will be back for sure!!! The biscuits were the best we ever had.

Easy five stars! Great place for southern cooking in South Florida. We got there at 10 to 6 and there was ample parking in their parking lot. My wife and I both had the hillbilly 75 sangria that was real good. Their barbecued egg rolls with pulled pork, root beer barbecue was just the start. The biscuits with butter that we could not finish and will have as leftovers and the apple cobbler for dessert. Priscilla our server was friendly and on point. I woke up this morning, got ready and decided to venture out to the Delray Beach area to have brunch at Batch New Southern Kitchen & Tap. I never been to this restaurant before, I actually learned about it from fellow Yelper, Kimberly P. reviewing the Fort Lauderdale location and her food pics was what made me decide to check them out. Located in the Delray Marketplace, there is plenty of parking. Upon entering I was greeted by the hostess who informed me that there is a wait on table seating, but there are available seating at the bar and outside patio. As I sat at the bar, I immediately noticed the casual vibe where everyone was just enjoying their food, drinks, and conversation. The wooden eclectic wall decor gave you such a warm cozy feeling. The tables were indeed packed with families....given that it was Mother's Day...some tables were decorated with balloons and/or flowers. One of the bartenders, Brandon, greeted me and asked if I would liked something to drink. Being my first time at the restaurant, I asked him what he would recommend....he suggested the bottomless sangria. He described both the cherry-apple red & ginger-peach white sangria in terms of their taste. I chose the cherry-apple red sangria with the caramelized apple "French toast". The sangria was lightly sweet and refreshing. The presentation of the caramelized apple "French toast" looked intriguing. It didn't have the look or texture of an ordinary french toast, but as I poured the bourbon-infused syrup over it and took a few bites, my tastes buds was dancing. Now I get why the words French toast is in quotation marks....it tasted more like bread pudding, but it was so delectable that I didn't care about the "camouflage". The caramelized apples with added strawberries and blueberries made it feel like a fulfilling dessert. I was definitely full after my second glass of sangria. I would like to come back to experience another yummy dish and cocktail at Batch New Southern Kitchen & Tap. read more

An absolutely wonderful time at Batch. We sat at the outside patio in comfy seating around a flaming fireplace which set a relaxing vibe. The server Steven was super energetic and provided recommendations for some of their homemade-sodas with interesting blended flavors. We ordered two of their best sellers. ***The Blackberry Lemonade which consisted of muddled blackberries, fresh lemon juice and mint and tasted slightly tart. **The Southern Agua Fresca made with cucumber, mint and fresh lime which was crazy good. During happy Hour they advertise a special with three types of sliders - BBQ Pulled Pork, Nashville Hot Chicken, and Carolina Brisket. The manager, Jennifer, introduced herself and chatted for a bit. Not only was the bathroom clean but the sink area was ultra modern with candles and plants which added to the relaxed ambiance. Loved this place and will return soon. read more

Had a few whiskey cocktails and some burnt ends. The drinks were delicious, the burnt ends were a little smaller than I am used to, but the flavor was good. Carling was phenomenal! I really enjoyed her service and expertise. Will definitely come back just to visit her.

Awesome restaurant in the area! I love the outdoor space that is cozy and modern, perfect to enjoy the weather. I do highly recommend making a reservation, as it was extremely busy on Friday night. Even with the reservation it look 15mins for a table to open up. The staff was great though at keeping us updated on our table and also have us free bacon tater tots and biscuits for the delay. Both appetizers were incredibly delicious! The tots are homemade and have the perfect amount of cheddar cheese and bacon pieces mixed into the batter. And the biscuits I'll be dreaming about for weeks. Warm, flaky, and a hint of honey. All made even better with the fresh jam and warm butter. For my entree I got the Dirty South Burger and absolutely loved it! It was covered in smoked gouda & cheddar sauce, with a super flavorful bourbon-bacon jam and aioli on top with crispy onions. Every element added another delicious dimension onto of the already juicy burger patty. It was a little messy, but worth it with every bite. On the side comes thin crispy fries that made the dish even more filling. Staff was excellent, friendly and quick, despite being so busy. Absolutely recommend checking it out! read more
