This has become a favorite of ours since discovering it about two years ago. When you walk in, you instantly feel welcomed as if you were entering someone's home. Jennifer the GM is incredible. She is professional, warm, and always stops by and makes us feel appreciated. Even if the food were not as excellent as it is, we would return for the outstanding service. It makes me sad to see the kitchen and manager have to go to such lengths to make up for the lack of competence by the hostesses. We made reservations for 5 over a week in advance, spoke to multiple people that it would be a regular table and not a high top. Upon arrival at 6 we were told no problem and were just waiting for a table to open up. That turned into oh no one is leaving but we have a high top...... that's not what we asked for or confirmed with you guys, twice over the phone. Ultimately the hostesses found it more funny than actually doing the job they were hired for so the general manager came out and pretty much did everything. It took about 15-20 minutes to actually be seated which was insanely awkward given the situation. But nonetheless the hostesses kept their noses in the air and took zero responsibility for what transpired. Would absolutely not come back. read more

Thanksgiving dinner was PERFECT. GM Jennifer had all hands on deck. The energy in the room was amazing! Now the food. We had the traditional Slow Roasted Turkey, with buttermilk mashed potatoes, green beans casserole, sage and guyrere waffle, house made cranberry sauce. Dessert was pumpkin pudding (to die for) Ashley, our server was just the best! It felt like a family member serving us. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the kitchen. The room was full, we didn't wait very long for our HOT food to come out. I understand the kitchen also prepared about 50 whole Cajun fried turkey dinners for pickup orders. I had an uneven and overall bad experience at batch. I came here with my parents and ordered the short rib entree. Beef rib atop mashed potatoes with Demi Glace. The potatoes were cold. Our server, Priscilla, was polite and attentive. She said she'd get her supervisor, which seemed like overkill to me, but OK. The supervisor asked if she could replate it for me, not bring out a fresh order of potatoes, not remake it, rePLATE. I agreed. They came out cold... again. When I informed the supervisor, she was flippant and told me that "we use a steam table." I wasn't going to be pedantic and ask why none of this alleged steam made it to my food, but getting defensive like this with a customer when no one who handled the second plate could have mistaken it for hot was the wrong thing to do and bothered me more than the mistake in the kitchen. I gave up and ordered the shrimp and grits. It was solid, but it wasn't what I wanted and everyone else was done by the time it came out. I don't understand how a restaurant can send out two obviously cold plates. If you can't see any steam, then it's not ready to be sent out/back out. I didn't ask for any compensation and none was offered. I just wanted my food to be something I wanted to eat. I didn't get that. The server was good and the food should have been, but the defensive supervisor telling me why my clearly not hot food should have been hot left a bad taste in my mouth. I KNOW it should be hot. That's why we're in this situation to begin with. If not for the supervisor, I'd give the food another shot, as my parents both had great sandwiches. I liked this place a lot! Their food is seasoned and I haven't tried something I didn't like here yet. I went to brunch with a friend and I got the fried chicken with eggs and she got the maple donuts. Both were delicious! The donuts were sweet yet not overpowering. The chicken with eggs was seasoned to perfection and the eggs and gravy were well balanced. Service was great but we were in a rush towards the end and our waiter didn't get us out that quickly (wasn't packed). This was our fist time visiting Batch Delray. We normally go the one in Brickell since we live South but we just happened to be on a "staycation" weekend in Delray so we tried out the new brunch menu. This Batch gastropub is now "New Southern Kitchen & Tap" which offers a new revamped menu focusing on Southern cuisine. There were plenty of new delicious items on the updated menu starting the with the Grilled Peaches Burrata and the Cast Iron Cinnamon Rolls. Both were so impressive. I could eat that burrata dish everyday. So fresh and healthy. The cinnamon rolls were to die for. Fresh out of the oven and so tasty. It wasn't actually too sweet at all. And of course, you can't go wrong with the Burnt Ends. Smoked beef brisket in their house-made root beer BBQ sauce. Yum! For the main course, I tried the Southern Crispy Chicken over Grits. Wow! This is how Southern is done! Crisp to perfection and the grits with crumbled bacon was just heaven. My friend had the Crab Cake benedict and I'm telling you, they're not stingy with the crab meat. So good. I also had the Breakfast Old Fashioned and Bloody Mary. Their old fashioned is definitely unique. Love the touch of the waffle on top and the Bloody Mary was very good too. I could tell that they made their own fresh mix. Highly recommended. Also keep in mind, they have bottomless Sangria, Bellinis & Mimosas for just $10 on Saturday or Sunday brunch for a limited time. And if you still have room, do yourself a favor and order the Banana Puddin. Trust me, this is worth the extra calories. Fresh made just melt in your mouth goodness. Loved our visit here. The dining area was spacious, there was a live DJ too, and service was very attentive and super friendly. Also free parking. The updated menu will for sure please everyone. They got the Southern classics but with their own twist. We want to check out the dinner service someday because if the brunch was this good, then dinner should be a no brainer. read more

Went to visit batch for dinner. Walked in and gave our name for two people a lot of open tables and group after a group we're going ahead of us. Needless to say they had reservations, but did not tell us how long of a way it would be. Even with open tables they did not want to see us. Terrible customer service. Batch is one of those places I tried once and just keep returning to. A friend recommended it to me because of their excellent food, and after trying it I strongly agree. For starters, they have a pretty decent menu. Sometimes pubs don't offer the best food, but that's what sets Batch apart! They offer food options with bold flavors that will be sure to satisfy your cravings. I ordered a burger the first time I visited and was blown away! Not only was it massive, but it truly tasted like a craft burger. It had a special sauce, tender meat, and was topped with a giant slab of fried cheese! This burger was the BOMB! Now since then, I have visited a few times and I just say I always go for the pretzel. It's gigantic, pairs well with any drink, and comes with beer cheese. Fantastic! Their drinks are also great. They offer many happy hour options that are delicious and worth the price. I really value that they have a decent amount of virgin mocktails, which is important! It's hard to find a spot that offers crafted drinks with no alcohol. The cherry lime aid was so tasty and it was served beautifully! Garnish and all! Probably my favorite feature of this pub is the staff. I am always happy with how pleasant everyone is here. All of the staff members are friendly, helpful, and very attentive. The vibe in batch is great I love that they have the wrap around bar that has both inside and outdoor seating. When ever I go the staff is pretty amazing but the one that stands out the most is a female bartender Mikyle! She is engaging seams to remember everyone's drink order from previous visits. Amazing food that you can taste the freshness in. I've been a few times now, trying their mac and cheese, burgers, and recently the friend green tomatoes BLT. We sat outside and the light fixtures gave a nice rustic feel. The service was exceptional, thanks to Star, our attentive waitress who made sure our bottomless mimosas, sangria, and bellinis were always replenished. The crispy potatoes added the perfect crunch, and the French toast struck a delightful balance without being overly sweet. Such a horrible experience, which is a shame because the one in west palm was wonderful. For starters, they were so understaffed that we waiting for 30 minutes despite lots of tables being open. Then the waitress told us the kitchen was backed up even before we ordered our food. The food took forever, but the worst part, they were OUT OF BBQ SAUCE! Whoever is managing this place needs to step up their game. That area is so busy. They could do well! But not with that type of experience. read more

Went here on a Tuesday. Tried to get happy hour specials advertised on menu but was told only available seated at the bar. Anyway, ordered the Cobb Salad with chicken. I enjoyed it and supposedly the dressing is made on site. My daughter enjoyed her Cajun chicken pasta and the waitress gave her heads up it was spicy prior to order. We didn't drink but it looks like the drinks were being enjoyed by others. I look forward to going back another time. read more

We went here to watch the UFC fight a few weekends ago and sadly disappointed with the food and drinks. The tequila like shrimp were just okay. They were cooked well but just didn't wow us. The pineapple salsa they put on the side helped some. We also had the chimichurri chicken kabobs which were bland but the pineapple rice was a winner! The Korean Pizza was flavorful and spicy but the pizza was undercooked. The drinks were supposed to be alcoholic but not sure the bartender remembered the alcohol. This is not the first time here and every other time was just mediocre too... can't blame it on fight night. Just consistently mediocre. read more

My husband and I love going to Batch! We have been going here for many years their food is amazing and so is their service. We haven't nearly tried everything but some of our favorites are the Mac and cheese, any of their burgers and their French Fries are hands down our favorite out of any restaurant we've been too. First time here: we ate outside and they had a live 2-3 person band playing 70s rock and they were good. Great atmosphere. We had drinks and they were great --well made and tasty. The pretzel was perfect. The shrimp dish was as advertised with large portions and fresh pineapple. The burger was still juicy even though I ordered medium. The service was great. So why not 5 stars--? I'd give it a 4.5 but not five -as my son would say -let's go out if the way to eat here. Y'all, listen, this place is Southern through and through. Seriously the best meal we've had in ages. Let's get some things straight, you will leave there as full as a tick. Started with a glass of refreshing white sangria, delicious. The homemade cheese and bacon tots will make you wanna cus. Moving onto the brisket sandwich, bring a friend cause you won't be able to eat one by yourself. From the top down, peppery fried, crunchy onions, a heap of succulent brisket with a sweet bbq sauce mixed in, thick sliced pickle chips and then crunchy Cole slaw that's not drowning in mayo. Mac and cheese was cheesy, creamy and delicious. Moving onto homemade biscuits. Made with love and butter. The fruit jam to spread on top, brought a tear to my eye. 4 desserts to choose from, we went with banana pudding. I could've just eaten the banana whipped cream on top and been perfectly happy. The banana pudding itself was good, but a bit thick for my taste. Our server Natasha was sweet and so nice. She made our dining experience a pleasure. The GM Jennifer came to our table with a tablet that held every ingredient in every dish to review dishes that may contain mustard. My husband had severe mustard allergy. In all these years, we've never had anyone do that. The best we get is "the chef said there's no mustard." But alas, sometimes there is. We sat outside so I can't really tell you about the ambiance but I will tell you that the bathroom was spotless, a good sign for sure.
