Thirty of us met a Cucina Moderna, in the Cobblestone Shopping Center on Boynton Beach Blvd. and Lyons Road for dinner on a Tuesday evening. We sat at a long table outside under many fans. Courtney waited on all of us and did a fabulous job. The musician kept us all entertained. I enjoyed my glass of Chardonnay it was icy cold. Our water glasses were filled regularly. We started by sharing arancini the portion was enough for a meal for two. We shared an enormous lasagna for an entrée and that was delicious as well. Had a solid lunch here, the prices for the lunch menu are extremely reasonable and the food is quite good. My Chicken Parm was fantastic and we also got a pizza. Easy parking in a strip mall and nice wide open space, will for sure come back to try other things for dinner! read more

Came on a Sunday for brunch. It wasn't busy and the service was still slow so that was unfortunate. I ordered the VEAL VALDOSTANA and was able to substitute (at no charge) the roasted potatoes for Angel hair pasta with Sunday gravy (red tomato sauce). It was tasty, however there wasn't enough red sauce and our waitress hadn't checked on us so I flagged a waiter down to bring me more sauce. They also didn't bring the cheese grater to the table and when one person asked for cheese, the waitress simply brought a small plate of shredded cheese for us to share. Other tables were getting freshly grated cheese for anyone that wanted it at the table. Others in my group got the eggs Florentine from the brunch menu and chicken Parmesan which all looked amazing. I enjoyed CM, the ambience is very nice, chic and modern, the Staff was welcoming and friendly, they have outdoor/indoor seating and the location is great with shops and restaurants on both sides. We came for lunch and had pizza, wings, grinder and salmon sandwich and everyone enjoyed the food, everything had so much flavor, it was fresh and served hot. On Saturday evening at 8 pm, our family met to have dinner on the patio. We were 2 children and 6 adults. This is a late time for us to eat but time would not allow us to come earlier. The positive is that it was so nice and quiet so that we could all hear each other talk. The service was excellent. The food orders were all correct and all came out on a timely basis. We had cocktails, salads and entrees. I had the veal francaise with sautéed veggies. I had the choice of pasta. The portions were generous and everyone was satisfied with their meals. Others had the veal parm and meatballs for the kids. We also had coupons which worked out nicely. No dessert this time: too late. Decided to try again and was pleasantly surprised that they have the happy hour prices at tables now. Food was good and Service too.

Stopped in for an early dinner, seated immediately. Lots of good choices - you get entree, choice of salad, soft drink or coffee, gelato plus basket of really delicious rolls for the table. Our server Stephanie was very attentive & offered excellent suggestions. Franscesca also on the wait staff brought boxes to wrap up my food as there was so much. i went for lunch , i stopped going after their food disappointed yrs ago. now i had a great dish for lunch Mussels Pomodoro. they brought bread out but i like Italian bread better. the cost of lunch isn't really $10 it more like $15. a drink is required @ 4.50 % up. still it was a great meal this day. I went here with a friend and we sat at the bar area. It was very hot out - so I didn't want to sit totally outside but inside the air conditioning was cranking too high - so that bar area did it for us! We ordered caesar salad with chicken which was delicious and a glass of wine. It was perfect. They do bring you focaccia bread which is nice! They were very nice and very helpful as well! Some friends decided we should take a little ride so we went out to this restaurant. It was surprisingly that it was so good. I had a delicious salad, healthy nut salad and we shared a white pizza which was also excellent spaghetti and meatballs and veal dish. the waiter was very nice. The food was good. We like Cucina Moderna in Boynton Beach. It has a nice vibe. Food is quite good (their tomato sauce is extra special). And pleasant staff. We had Bella last night, she was great. One note from last night. What the heck happened to the pizza? Since when does Cucina Moderna overload with mozzarella? I ordered "extra crispy" and I got a gloppy 12" pie, no crisp. We were 8 people eating before 6 on a Thursday evening, so we ordered the "early bird specials, which included a small salad, a soda, tea or coffee and a scoop of gelato. I ordered the crispy chicken parmigiana with linguine. It was sooo good. My wife ordered the salmon and that was very good also. We have eaten here before. The healthy nut salad is to die for. I had brunch special of French toast stuffed with fresh strawberries. I guess I didn't quite understand what they meant when they said fresh strawberries because the strawberries that we got on our French toast were "" cooked in a sauce so although they're fresh, according to the manager ' they're not really what you would expect fresh strawberries to be. These were cooked soft and in a gravy like substance that you would put on an ice cream sundae. Also stuffed to them means laying on top of the French toast, which, unfortunately was overcooked. We visited on Sunday afternoon this time. It was quite warm out for the second day of Spring and our reservation was for outdoors but Juan, the GM, who is always incredibly friendly offered to seat us inside, we accepted his invitation and it was a beautiful. The open bar let in a beautiful breeze creating a lovely ambience. Our server, Abby, was the best we've ever had. She was very kind, professional, and attentive. It's so refreshing to eat out at a nice restaurant that employs high caliber people. Abby is just that. Her smile is contagious and her demeanor is too! Our meals were outrageously delicious. Our appetizer, Mozzarella Sticks, were perfect as always. The bread was freshly baked and warm and our salads were fresh without fail, but, our main course. OMG... My husband and I both ordered the Parmesan Crusted Skirt Steak with Roasted Potatoe. We also had to get their Risotto. Wow! The skirt steak literally melted in our mouths. it was so flavorful. Whatever the marinade was, it needs to be bottled. The potatoes were nicely roasted with onions and garlic and there were a few little surprise tomatoes that popped up in there. The Risotto was sheer perfection and that is no easy feat. This is a "Special " we hope they make permanent. We ended our meal with a chocolate chip cannoli to take home. Yum! We should have bought more because our kids all wanted some once they saw it in the fridge. It's not easy to split one 4 ways. Overall, today's experience was the best we've had at Cucina Moderna, although we've never had a bad one. They just keep getting better. Chris Vingiano, the owner, definitely knows what he's doing. Went to dinner with a friend in a Tuesday. What a treat! They have a one man singer, who sings beautifully in Italian ; Mamma Mia!!! Love him I had salad & eggplant parm. The eggplant was Belisimo, the sauce not so much ( sauce needed garlicky & Basil) their average customer is 70+ , so they have to go easy on the spices. My friend had the chicken & it was good. They serve their own version of bread, It's soft ( not Belisimo) with olive oil. Crusted Italian bread or the traditional pizza rolls would have been much better. The restaurant is located in a large shopping mall, so parking is not an issue. On Friday they have a D. J. Will come back. read more

A terrific Sunset Menu iwas my selection tonight, screened outdoor seating on a perfect Florida night , service is top notch and very attentive to the customer , our server Stephanie was a pleasant young lady experienced and very informative on the dishes offered on the extensive menu. The food was outstanding as usual , meal starts with a hearty house salad accompanied by ciabatta bread and oil , recommend the Veal Valdostana with linguine in the same sauce was delicious. Meal is followed with home made Italian gelato , hazlenut was my choice. Beverage is your choice soft drink or coffee. I had not been at this restaurant for over a year and had no particular memories in its regard. At the suggestion of friends, we went there the other night. The Bolognese was simply outstanding. My wife and friends were equally impressed with their entrées. We will be heading back there, and I will have the difficult choice of trying another entrée, or re-ordering the Bolognese. I guess I will have to sample what my wife order is because there's no way that I'm not ordering the Bolognese again. In addition to the excellence of the Cuisine, the service was just great.
