Let's start with the ambiance. A very speakeasy type of place with dark wood and rustic decor. Service was top notch, bar staff was on top of everything and provided suggestions as well. Food, amazing. I had the baked brie and the progies and they both had amazing flavor I finished the night with the peanut butter salted caramel brownie and it was out if this world!

One word to describe Sweetwater: swanky. Tucked away in an unassuming section of Boynton/Delray, Sweetwater is a cozy gastropub with a stylish vibe. On my recent visit, love seemed to be in the air--four couples were fully immersed in some serious PDA. The staff struck a great balance between relaxed and attentive, making the experience feel both comfortable and upscale. While the menu is on the pricier side, it's in line with what you'd expect from a quality gastropub. I ordered the Parmesan truffle fries--massive portions and perfectly crisp steak fries made it a standout dish. Overall, Sweetwater is a cool spot, ideal for a hot date.

Finally decided to check this place out after driving by it for long time. So happy we did! It was not at all what I was expecting. It was better! We sat at the bar to eat dinner. Maggie, the bartender, was super helpful, giving us some history of the place. She also makes some very tasty cocktails. The food was delicious. We had the cauliflower hushpuppies, wedge salad and the steak frites. Their menu changes often to accommodate for fresh, seasonal food items. There is a speakeasy kind of feel to the place. Dim but not too dark. Just the right ambiance for a date night! We will definitely return.

Such a fun place. Staff is always nice and on point. The ambiance is part of why we go here, it's almost like a speak easy. The food! Omg! They have a rotating menu I believe it's every season, that is amazing! My go to is always the new recipe of the season short ribs and baked Brie. Then we try any other fun items. The Cuban empanadas were definitely good. If you like a charcuterie board theirs is pretty good, rather basic tho. This is a must go!

I love coming here. Drinks are always on point. Nice bartender and severs and the food is delicious and very presentable. The drinks are very crafty. Runs about $16 and up for a drink. Place is a little dim, sometimes more than dim. They play great music and later into the night, turns into more of a lounge. I always order the bacon slab, although it's thinner than before. Almost like they cut the bacon in half. I guess inflation is hitting everywhere. The bake Brie is also very delicious.

We came here during October, and I loved how the Halloween decorations added to its original ambience. We ordered some drinks and apps. The parmesan fries are addicting, and roasted carrots pair so well with the ricotta cheese and hot honey. For drinks, I recommend the espresso martini. I do wish there were more vegetarian options other than salads for the entrees, but everything we ordered tasted delicious.

We stopped by Sweetwater for drinks and dinner. Walking in, it felt like we had stepped back in time to a secret speakeasy. The dark wood, old-fashioned lighting and walls full of "liquid gold" spirits was warm and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and ready to create a great dining experience for us. We were hoping for a robust happy hour menu and were a bit disappointed to see that there were no food specials and only a handful of happy hour cocktails. We decided to try a couple of those: a spicy margarita and the Berry Bramble, which consisted of vodka and berry puree. Even though my friend requested a lower level of spiciness for the margarita, it was still too spicy for her. The Berry Bramble, while flavorful, did not have much alcohol and seemed watered down with a lot of ice. I wouldn't order this again. Several of the numerous cocktails on the drink menu looked good though. We created a tapas-style dinner by sharing a few items from the menu: - Ceasar salad with an unusual and delicious sun dried tomato dressing - BLT flatbread with baby tomatoes, candied bacon pieces, and arugula with a nice garlic aioli drizzle. This was a tasty item albeit somewhat expensive at $26. - Jamaican oxtail eggrolls with a side of au jus and a spicy sauce. A delightfully interesting flavor combo with a nice exterior crunch and a creamy meat center! - Lollipop chicken, which are chicken wings with part of the bone stripped clean to cleverly create a lollipop look. This dish comes with a side of creamy blue cheese dip. Beware: the sauce on the chicken is essentially a spicy buffalo sauce, even though the menu does not mention this. We enjoyed the chicken and commented to the server that the menu should have indicated it was a spicy item. - Hand-pulled wedge of mozzarella with tomatoes, toast, olive tapenade, and a roasted garlic. It was an enjoyable dish as we could mix and match the components in varying quantities based on each person's tastes. This is a good item for sharing. Overall, we had an enjoyable meal with a wide-range of interesting and tasty dishes in a fun setting.

The wife and I were in the mood for something new and exciting and we found Sweet Water. I can tell you this place is perfect for a night out. Our waitress was Aaliyah and she was amazing. She was Informative and very friendly. The food was amazing. We ordered hand pulled mozzarella it came with glazed toast points, prosciutto, roasted garlic, diced olives with a charcuterie style presentation. Also got a couple more appetizers that blew us away. We had drinks that came recommended from our waitress and she nailed it. The decor was great well decorated with a dark ambiance with plenty of eye candy. We left very happy, couldn't stop talking about our night out and can't wait to go back.

Came with my friends on a Wednesday afternoon and loved everything we had! I wasn't expecting much of the food to be that good but all the ingredients were amazing. Our server was very attentive and helped us picked the best things, unfortunately I do not remember her name. The place is pretty cozy and might be a cute spot for a date night! I forgot to take pictures but will probably come back for everything

Drinks were amazing but small and pricey. "Cruel Summer" For appetizer we had the "Street Empanadas" which you have to eat each bite with the elote crumble or the chicken tinga had no flavor. The Korean BBQ tacos were drenched in Hoison so I wasn't able to have more than one. The Shrimp Mofongo is more of a Shrimp Mangu cause it was made with sweet plantain instead of green plantain. Our waitress was very nice. Ambience was very nice.

Don't sleep on Boynton Beach - cocktail bar vibe, hiding in plain site in a strip mall... this gem is chef inspired and simply amazing. We tried the wood fired asparagus served on toast with a gooey egg and then the pork belly grilled baby bok choy and both had me in the happy chair dance. Although steak definitely makes sense with a wood fire concept, instead we tried the lamb rack served with a mint sauce combo that has you cleaning the plate and local pompano served curry lite with wild mushroom (delish)! If you are a foodie make your way here. This was a spot where one (or is it just me) considers maybe we order everything to try? And we left the fun for another time. I have my eye on their spiced lamb bolognese and another amazing cocktail. The cocktails are mostly milk fat clarified which adds yet another fun twist to a new fav spot! It's like sitting next to a warming fire. This time we tried the grilled asparagus, the grilled baby bok choy with pork belly and gorgonzola (our favorite), the luncheonette burger with crispy fries, the double cut pork chop with grilled cabbage and pickled mustard seed, and the waygu lamb (I know, a lot of food!). Everything was fantastic but the burger initially came out a bit undercooked (we ordered it medium) so they cooked it a bit more and quickly brought it back. I thought the lamb wagyu was a bit light on the meat, the pork chop was amble and laid out nicely on the plate. We also tried the watermelon tequila drink (very refreshing and not too sweet), an old fashioned, and they have a good list of wines. We love the big cube in cocktails. I don't know how they got them to be so clear. The bar tender was great and the cooks were working very hard. The owner always comes by to say hello and chat. Second Rodeo varies the menu.

The mango salsa added a nice sweet and fresh touch that paired perfectly with the crunchy coconut coating. We also shared the salmon topped with crab. We started by sharing the lobster lettuce wraps. We each had a piece of fried breaded, lobster and slaw wrapped in lettuce, it was tasty. For our entrée we shared swordfish over rice, the swordfish was rather small. It was mostly rice. We shared the Blondie brownies stack for dessert. It was huge warm and very rich. All eight of us enjoyed our meals. We enjoyed the band and got up and danced. The older people left and a younger crowd came in at 8 o'clock. It was a nice evening out.

It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. We made our reservations for 4:30, thinking it was too early, we are glad we did that. It was small inside, has an open bar, and the ambiance and decor were nice. The kitchen is small so the waiter asked if we could put our full order in at once so in case they get busy, our order won't take super long. My wife and I agreed on sharing a Porterhouse steak but unfortunately, they ran out the night before. The Waiter told us their daily meat, fish, and starters. We ordered the Empanadas, Me So Crispy, Wedge Salad, 40oz New York Strip (daily meat special), Mac, and Fries. Way too much food for the 2 of us. They brought out a little free snack that's Curried Chicken Salad on a Tortilla chip. Absolutely delicious. Next was the Empanadas and Me So Crispy. The Empanadas with the chimichurri sauce was amazing. The best empanadas we've ever had. I'm not a big seafood fan, but the Spicy Tuna Tartare on the Crispy Rice was spectacular. That was my favorite starter. The Wedge salad came and that was delicious also, the egg was boiled perfectly. The service is amazing. Checking up on us throughout the time. They brought out steak knives from Argentina and we got to choose our weapons. The 40oz New York Strip with sauces, Mac, and fries came out and it was the best cut of meat I've ever had. We ordered it rare to medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. It had a great sear and crust on it, it cut super easily and was super tender. Mac was really good as well, and the fries were perfect. Didn't even need ketchup for them. After we were done, they brought out a free Madeleine and chocolate muffin. They also gave us free Champagne to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered Bread Pudding because why not and it was delicious too. My wife and I have been to quite a few fancy expensive restaurants where even one was 420$ a person. Nicholson Muir has turned to our number 1. We have zero complaints. They exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We will definitely be back.
