When you walk into Ford's Garage, you're immediately welcomed, and it honestly feels like you've stepped back into the 1950s. They did such a great job with the whole car garage theme. There are so many fun little details that really make the place feel unique. The servers are super friendly and really make you feel like family. I had Marissa as my bartender, and she was amazing, nice, funny, and just made the experience that much better. I've been here a couple of times and have tried a few different things. Their burgers are really good! The ribs weren't really my favorite, but there are so many other things on the menu that I definitely want to try. One of the coolest things is the bar inside. One of our suppliers took a bunch of us to lunch and we came here, as this place came highly recommended. We ordered a bunch of different plates for the table to share, which is something I love to do. I tried the wings, pulled pork nachos, pretzels, and onion rings. The onion rings were my favorite item, and I did like the pulled pork nachos. The wings and pretzels were just a little salty for my taste. The atmosphere wasn't my cup of tea. It was so loud, and all of the Ford memorabilia didn't do much for me, although the guys in our group seemed to love it. Our food took a while to come out and wasn't as hot as I would have liked, but our server was friendly and seemed to be doing her best during a very busy lunch rush. This restaurant is near the office and my group likes coming here, so I will definitely be back. This new to the neighborhood Ford's Garage is sure to be a hit. It is simply an automotive antique memorablia museum with a great sports bar feeling restaurant inside. There is even an actual old Ford auto hanging above the bar surrounded by so many antiques on the walls both inside and outside. The napkins are grease cloths wrapped with an adjustable hose clamp. I've been seeing this chain popping up all over and have been wanting to try it. Finally got to this new one in Boynton. It was fun and lively! I loved the music they had playing in the background, but not too loud. A fair amount of TVs. I like how they opened up this space. I ordered the burger in a bowl and loved it! I don't know why more restaurants don't offer this on their menus. My husband had the bison burger. I had a bite and it was tasty. We had to try the kettle chips which were scrumptious! The buildout is genuinely impressive... a beautifully designed space featuring a large bar, spacious dining rooms with comfortable table spacing and booths, plus an enclosed outdoor area with a second bar that I'm sure will be a terrific spot once the weather cools. The Ford theme is wonderfully executed... a creative nod to a 1920s filling station. The attention to detail is remarkable. From the full-size Model A replica suspended above the bar, to the vintage signage throughout the restaurant, the replica Model A at the outdoor filling station, even the bathrooms... everywhere you look, they've committed to the concept. It's fun, immersive, and surprisingly authentic... almost like walking onto a movie set. They describe themselves simply as "your go-to neighborhood burger and brew joint." I like that. It's an honest description of exactly what they've created. The menu takes familiar comfort food and elevates it a notch. During our visit, just before the Fourth of July, they were celebrating America's 250th birthday with $3 mixed drinks... a fun promotion that fit the patriotic theme perfectly. Our food was very good. I enjoyed the Pulled Pork Sandwich, while the Model A Burger was another winner. Prices are reasonable, making this an easy place to visit regularly. What is Ford's Garage known for? According to the wait staff, it's burgers, beer and bathrooms. I understand the first two, but bathrooms? I'll get to that in a moment. I recently joined the Ford's Garage loyalty program. (And you should too! It's free and easy to do on their website or app.) I was pleasantly surprised to receive a no-strings-attached birthday reward that was valid through the end of my birthday month: a free appetizer! With reward in hand (well actually on my account via my phone number), my wife and I decided to check out the new Ford's Garage in Boynton Beach. We used the waitlist function on their website, which worked great as we were seated within a few minutes despite the large crowd hanging around the entrance waiting for tables. This location just opened and the place was packed. The decor is fabulous! As the name implies, the restaurant is set up like an old Ford garage with 1930 Model A cars in front and hanging from the ceiling, old painted motors on display and lots of signs and garage-themed paraphernalia hanging on the wood slat walls. The napkins are garage "rags" (perfect for wiping hands after eating finger foods!) and the napkin holders are hose clamps. Every aspect of the restaurant followed the garage theme. Yes, even the bathroom decor followed the garage theme with sinks made of car tires and faucets made of gas pump handles. Very clever! With my birthday reward, we shared chicken nachos. We also split a Southwest chicken salad and some soft pretzel sticks. The nachos were pretty good but did not make it to the A-list of nachos. To do that, the toppings would have to cover pretty much all the chips, the pan would not be lined with paper (which gets soggy from the toppings) and there would be a greater variety of toppings beyond the chicken, cheese, BBQ sauce and pico de gallo. Still, the nachos were tasty and we enjoyed them. The Southwest chicken salad was good but it seemed like the proportion of ingredients was a little skewed as there was more lettuce and shredded parmesan cheese than the other ingredients: corn, tomatoes, and green onions. In fact, it looked more like a Caesar salad and even came with Caesar dressing. It had a pleasantly mild kick due to the tajin seasoning. The soft pretzel sticks were delicious as they were fresh and warm. They were accompanied by melted cheese and brown honey mustard for dipping. Because the nachos, salad and pretzels were so filling, I sadly didn't get to try one of the Ford Garage's famous burgers from their extensive burger menu. I did, however, have a beer from their $3 draft beer list. Who sells beer for $3 these days??? If you want one, hurry to Ford's Garage because this deal is for a "limited time" only and they do run out of the beer sometimes as was the case with the Blue Moon when we were there. The big surprise was when several members of the wait staff came to our table and sang "happy birthday" while serving us an ice cream sundae with two scoops of vanilla ice cream along with chocolate and caramel sauces. Fantastic! Will I come back? Sure! The service is great, the prices are reasonable, the vibe is fun and, most importantly, the burgers are calling to me. We had a good lunch here. They've only been open a few days and are already quite popular. We sat at the bar and got great personable service from Jessie. We are familiar with the restaurant chain having dined at several of their locations -- Ft Myers, Wesley Chapel, Plantation, and most recently Cape Coral. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and chatting with our fellow diners. My husband enjoyed a cider and took advantage of the ice bar - the strip that runs through the bar top to keep your drink ice cold. We explained this to one of our neighboring patrons. We both got the Americans roadster burger -- the 1/3 pound on the lunch menu. He got it with the kettle chips side and all the fixins: American cheese, onion, tomato, pickle slices. He left off the lettuce. I got green beans as my side and left off the onion on my burger. The burgers were very good. For dessert, we shared a (not too sweet) slice of key lime pie. It was the authentic color (yellow) and was on a graham cracker crust (my preferred). We liked this, too. Today we decided to drive over to this newly opened Ford's Garage and give them a try. Glad we did because we enjoy the brand and have visited several across the state. Some have closed but glad to see new locations opening up! One of the servers behind the bar had a Trainer logo on her shirt. She happens to be training the staff here and is from the last Ford's Garage we visited in Cape Coral. We ordered from the Lunch specials menu, both of us went with the third pound burger. I chose the house chips, my wife had Green beans for her side. We both enjoyed our burgers, especially because the did not have soggy bottoms like other places serve! These two lunch specials with a beverage and the one side, came in at in under $30. I had a Cider Brothers Strawberry Cider, very refreshing. We also had some very good Keylime pie. We were so excited when Ford's Garage opened up in Boynton Beach! I had gone to the one in Wellington once and really liked it. It is centrally located on Congress, and took over the old Carolina Ale House. Walking in, you get treated to lots of car memorabilia and Interactive things for the children. ie/filling up a car with pretend gas and checking in the tires etc. I remember the food being absolutely divine, and I was salivating when we walked in. I had the Hot Melt with Burnt ends, and my fiance had the barbecue Trio, which had chicken sausage and ribs with fries. Both were out of this world! The barbecue sauce is perfect and not overbearing and the meats were perfectly cooked. Since they had just opened last week, the wait was an hour and a half so we sat at the bar. Stephanie was a server/bartender and was really sweet. All in all it was a fantastic date night with Incredible food and ambience. If you're looking for a variation in burgers, this is the place to go! I ordered the brisket bbq burger and it was delicious! It came with cheese, bacon, brisket, onions and was very good. My husband got the A1 burger and it had a fried egg on it which he said was delicious. He got the tater tots and I got the French fries. My daughter got the chicken tender kids basket with fries and also reported that they were very good. We also got a blue frozen margarita which was tasty! Our waiter was quick, attentive and very friendly. It did take about 20 minutes on the wait list to get a table on a Sunday but that was to be expected as they just opened. Also, the decor inside is all Ford Garage themed, including the bathrooms, bar, and outside area which was fun. I've been eagerly waiting for this place to open and was thrilled to finally go for dinner! Fords Garage has done an excellent job taking over this location and turning it into a fun, lively environment where you can have a family dinner or meet some friends and watch a game. I came pretty early before the dinner rush, and was seated right away. My server was incredibly friendly and met all of my tables requests happily. She was lovely!! We started with the fried pickle spears, which I must say were unreal. I try to order fried pickles anywhere I go, but I've yet to find a place that serves them as spears!!!! They were AMAZING. Not overly coated with batter , but still crunchy. For my dinner I ordered a burger. I can't recall what it was called but it was incredible !!! The fry portion was smaller than most places (my three year old ate all of mine) but the meal was still very good. It was my daughter's birthday, so the servers sang happy birthday and brought out two giant scoops of ice cream!!! It was so tasty and hit the spot. We stopped by Fords for the first time yesterday. Great place, awesome staff. From the moment we walked in the young lady at the desk was extremely pleasant and seated us right away. Ryan our server was the best. Knowledgeable when it came to the menu and drink selections and he had a great sense of humor. I recommend asking for him if you stop by. There is no manager or maitre d that came around. You would especially think they would have that on opening night. My husband and I stopped by Ford's Garage today for a late lunch and chose to sit outside. The outdoor seating was nice, and it was fun to people-watch while enjoying the atmosphere. The restaurant has a cool automotive-themed ambiance that gives it a unique vibe. Our bartender was new, but she did a great job. She was friendly, attentive, and made an excellent margarita. My husband ordered a beer, which was exactly what you'd expect. We started with the onion rings. They were just okay--nothing memorable, but not bad either. For my meal, I ordered the fish and chips. Unfortunately, it came with French fries instead of the chips listed on the menu. The chips were brought out later, and they tasted like they had been cooked earlier and weren't very fresh. My husband actually liked the seasoning on them, but they just weren't for me. My husband ordered the Buffalo fried chicken sandwich with tater tots. He enjoyed the sandwich, but the tater tots were just okay and weren't his favorite. Overall, the service was pleasant, the drinks were good, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. So we walked into a dining room with multiple empty tables... we chose to sit at the bar. (Yes, my 84 y/o MIL sat at the bar!!) Bartender was excellent (sorry I didn't get her name!) and recommended a delicious beer. Burger was cooked to temp, fries and onion rings were cold. Sent them back and a manager was right on it with hot fries and onion rings! Which begs the question: You had one thing to do! A hamburger with cold fries? (Management: you might want to keep a closer eye on your hostesses, who control your traffic! I saw several people walk away when they were quoted that wait time.) Had the opportunity to come to the pre-opening opening of Fords garage. I'm very happy to report that this is a very well run restaurant. The decor is in keeping with other Ford's garages. We started with the loaded nachos, which were plenty full and delicious. I enjoyed perfectly seasoned and cook cooked blackened salmon Well, my dining partner had the Montecristo sandwich. This is a two-part review...we went by the first time just after they opened, after playing a round of golf, and sat at the bar to eat. The restaurant staff had all the openers from Ft. Myers and other locations working alongside them at the time. The food was awesome; my son got the burger bowl, I got the chicken sandwich, and my friends said their food was great too! I was really excited to have a cool place nearby to grab some decent food and a few beers. With that being said, I had been wanting to get back again and finally did on Sunday, July 5th. I was really excited to try the cheeseburger! I could not have been more disappointed. The food came out cold; the cheese slices were not even slightly melted. The tater tots were decent, but then how hard is it to cook those? I mentioned something to the bartender outside where we were sitting and basically got a shoulder shrug and an "I'm sorry, it looks cold" from her. In all honesty, I don't know if the food was even prepared for me or had been sitting there waiting for someone to order it... Like at Burger King, maybe? Such a shame for the quality and service to drop off so fast. A really big disappointment!!! read more
