Stepping into Off The Clock is like walking into a dinner party at your coolest friend's hipster apartment in Brooklyn, in the best way, and I absolutely love it. The vibes are upscale and it feels like the coolest living room bar restaurant lounge ever. Across the two floors and expansive space, there are intimidate tables, cozy couches, bar stools, books, art made in house, and knickknacks galore. There's great music, often played on vinyl to complete the ambiance. The service is fantastic, with friendly servers and staff around to greet, check in on you, and make sure you're having a fantastic time. The owner Horace is a pretty amazing guy, very personable, and extremely passionate about what he does. But it's not just vibes, the food is fantastic. There's a nice mix of options on the smaller menu, and everything is extremely flavorful. Some things lean to the spicier side, but not too much to be painful or overwhelming. Their cocktail program is fantastic, and the old fashioned had notes of banana and walnut which really elevated it. And the prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. I highly recommend checking this place out, and you'll be sure to want to make it your new regular spot.

I came here for dinner with friends and the food was 10/10 and the service was 10/10. I am in love with the vibe and the service at this restaurant. Who would have thought that lake worth had a restaurant like this. I also went here for an event for slowtone and it was absolutely incredible. I will be recommending this place to everyone

Vibes & Service: Vibes are amazing there!!! Just left the space and didn't want to forget our amazing waitress name, Stephanie. Stephanie was amazing, her recommendations were great. The music is great there!!! I wish i could see more of the amazing decor with a little bit of light but overall so nice and romantic. Food: We picked ceviche as our appetizer and it was amazing. The plain chips were a great addition, especially the sweet ones 10 out of 10. My entree was the short ribs and it was so so good. It comes with a small side of mashed potatoes but honestly it's going to fill you up, no need to get another side. My friend got the half chicken and that does not come with sides but had it with Mac and cheese and it was delicious. The sauce with the chicken is amazing. Price; Our total with 2 drinks, one appetizer, the water was not included it was $8, two entrees and the sides came up to be $199 which also included gratuity. Overall the food and the drinks were totally worth it but it is more on the pricier end. Coming back or not? Absolutely coming back!!!

Stopped in on Saturday night with a few friends - which we didn't make reservations however we were able to get a spot at the bar. They informed us that they were closing earlier due to a private event. However, once we made it inside - wow, this spot and the ambience were everything. I was surprised to see something like this in the downtown Lake Worth area. The listening bar was playing some 80's R&B which was a vibe! This spot is a French & Caribbean fusion with a space for creatives and lovers of a curated vibe. For my cocktail I got the Lovely Day. This drink is a tequila, mezcal based drink with a blend of sweet and smoky. I really enjoyed this to sip on throughout the night. If you that's your vibe - definitely try this. For food, I got the chicken sandwich which came with fries. The chicken sandwich had a zesty mayo with a slaw which was really good. The sandwich was fried to perfection and very crispy. However, there wasn't much seasoning from the chicken itself. The flavor came from the other ingredients on the sandwich. The fries was presented in this martini brass glass which was cute! The fries were seasoned to perfection, and were fresh! My friends had to get their food to go because it took so long for the kitchen to get it out to us even though we all ordered at the same time. I do see myself coming back for another visit for a nightcap cocktail and the music. alone.

This place is a hidden gem in lake worth. The vibe is everything. We had some drinks and food and it was great . Chicken sandwich so good can be a bit spicy. Cuban was also very good. Now the service A++++.

Wow where do i start? This establishment is black owned and they know what they're doing. From the hostess at the front door to our waitress Stephanie being so attentive and kind! I haven't experienced such amazing customer service and food in a while! The owner was also so kind and greeted us upon arrival and departure. We had a 5 pm reservation and was seated promptly, the restaurant is dark with small lamps on each tablet that created the right vibes and aesthetic for girls night or even a date night. We left close to 9 pm and never felt rushed by our waitress Stephanie. She took her time to educate us on each drink and her recommendations based on what we were looking for. This spot is 10a across the board and I can't wait to go back!

We found this hidden gem in Lake Worth completely by accident. I was looking for a lounge with a relaxed atmosphere that wasn't overly loud, entered a few options into my GPS, and Off the Clock came up. Being born and raised in Lake Worth, I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I'm so glad we gave it a chance. Although the restaurant was reservation-only that evening, the staff greeted us warmly and graciously accommodated us. From the moment we sat down, the experience was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Caribbean wings, steak, and coconut rice, and there wasn't a single dish we didn't enjoy. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and clearly prepared with care. The atmosphere was one of my favorite parts. They had a vinyl DJ spinning music, which created the perfect vibe. The lighting was dim and intimate, making it feel romantic without being stuffy. It had the feel of a stylish living-room lounge--comfortable, inviting, and sophisticated. The music was lively enough to enjoy and even dance to if you wanted, but not so loud that you had to yell across the table to have a conversation. One detail that really stood out was that the owner and chef personally visited each table to check on guests and make sure everyone was enjoying their experience. That's something we always appreciate, and it added a personal touch that made the evening feel even more special. He also explained that the menu changes every three months, which gives us even more reason to return. While it is on the pricier side, we felt it was absolutely worth it for the quality of the food, the outstanding service, and the unique ambiance. We visited in early January and are already looking forward to our next trip back.

You're going to want to check out this new spot in downtown Lake Worth! Off the Clock has a 70's-cool vibe on a Saturday night -- the music was grooving, the energy was great, and the food did not disappoint. Just a heads-up: the wings are jumping hot ... in the best way! The drinks were my favorite part -- inventive, interesting combinations that really stood out. Friendly bartenders and DJ on a real turntable. We had such a fun time on our first visit, and we'll definitely be coming back with more friends. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

The moment you walk in, the place has an incredible vibe! It's a bit dark, but lit just enough to enjoy the night exactly as it was meant to be. You immediately feel cool as you enter and take your seat. We ended up sharing a table with another group, something new for us, but it still turned out to be a great experience. We met Reggie and Horace, the chef and the owner of the restaurant, and they were both incredibly kind and genuinely great people. The food was good, though we only ordered sides and drinks tonight, so I can't give a full opinion on the main dishes just yet so stay tuned! Overall, a truly great experience! Must try!

I finally made it to Off the Clock this weekend after seeing it on my socials and it did not disappoint! To start, Nick, the host, was the perfect greeter, very professional and welcoming. Inside, the vibe is artsy, moody, and cozy with warm orange lighting that feels like a 70s record studio. It's the kind of place that makes you want to sit, sip, talk, and actually enjoy being there in the present. The crowd was a nice mix of ages and cultures, which is a little rare for a bar and refreshing. Not just sitting around, but really in the moment. I had the Me & You cocktail and my friend got the Easy to Love, and both were chef's kiss. Balanced, flavorful, and clearly well-crafted. I also ordered the burger and fries and wow. The patty was the star in my book, but the sauce took it to another level. The music was great and the owner even came over to introduce himself, which was such a thoughtful touch. 10/10. I'll absolutely be back and will be telling everyone about it.

I visited Off The Clock with my sister for my birthday, and the experience did not disappoint. First tip: make a reservation. On weekdays, same-day reservations seem easy enough, though weekends may be different. Also, dress to impress--cocktail attire or business-casual fits the classy vibe perfectly. From the moment you walk in, you're ushered to your seat and the staff is attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance gives you everything at once: a cozy romantic dinner, a chic spot to catch up with your best friend, and an upscale yet relaxed environment that feels elevated but comfortable. You can take photos, but no flash, out of respect for other diners. Drinks I opted for a non-alcoholic drink, and I appreciated that the menu clearly marks sweetness, savoriness, and spirit level. I had the Sweetest Taboo, and I definitely recommend it--refreshing, sweet, and perfectly balanced. Starters We began with the Jerk Style Wings (OTC dry rub). These were incredibly flavorful--seasoned to perfection with the right blend of sweet and spicy. I'd call it a "level 2" spice if you enjoy heat, but it might feel stronger if you're not used to spicy food. Either way, delicious and completely shareable. Entrées We ordered the Jerk Cubano (served with fries) and the Tamarind-Glazed Short Ribs (served over mashed potatoes). The Short Ribs were the standout of the night--tender, rich, and easily some of the best ribs I've had in a long time. I'm not typically a mashed potato person, but this pairing was perfection. The Jerk Cubano was good and tasty, though not something I'd personally hype as a must-try. Sides Roasted Brussels Sprouts - Slightly overcooked for my taste, but if you prefer softer Brussels that your fork glides through, you'll enjoy them. Mac & Cheese - Absolutely perfect. Creamy, flavorful, and a great complement to any entrée. One Small Suggestion I would have preferred the food to be paced out. Everything arrived at once, which made the table feel crowded. Staggered service (appetizer first, entrée a few minutes later) would have elevated the experience even more. Top Recommendations Drinks (you really can't go wrong) Jerk Style Wings - perfect starter, but don't fill up on them! Tamarind-Glazed Short Ribs - the star dish Mac & Cheese - my favorite side Final Thoughts A special thank you to Chef Reggie and thank you to Horace (forgive me if I'm misspelling your names!) -- you both truly made the experience enjoyable and memorable. I'm already planning another sister date here. The entire place has a calm, chill vibe that puts you instantly at ease. Highly recommend for date nights, girls' nights, and any relaxed yet elevated dining experience.

    Fam!

The vibe is super cool, cozy seating, great ambience, dim lighting that feels like a hidden gem. I sat on the comfy couch and ordered sushi from OKA, which was honestly better than ever. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The cocktails were delicious too; strong, creative, and exactly what I wanted for a chill night out. I was having a great time, enjoying my meal and drinks, when disaster struck right at the end. I had literally just finished eating when a huge roach crawled right by my feet on the couch area. It was massive and absolutely disgusting. I jumped out of my seat so fast, thankfully I was done with my food, or I probably would've lost it completely. I didn't scream (which is a miracle because I definitely would have at home), but it was such a gross turn-off. I get that this is Lake Worth and Florida has its bugs, but come on, a roach that big in a dining establishment? That's not okay. You really need to step up the pest control. Also, the bathrooms could use some serious help. They're outdated and feel neglected, definitely in need of an update or renovation to match the rest of the cool vibe. Overall, the sushi shines, the drinks are spot-on, and the atmosphere is fun... but that roach ruined the ending for me, and the bathrooms don't help. Fix those things, and this place could be amazing. Hoping it was just a one-off bad night!

It used to be a French restaurant for about 20 years and then kept changing hands with different types of cuisine. I am really hoping that is one of those restaurants that will make it. Our dinner experience here tonight was extremely pleasant. This is a huge restaurant with three rooms and a bar. There's a choice of about seven entrées and several salads and appetizers. We were a party of three and decided to try Pomona because we've never eaten there before. To start out with, I have got to give a shout out to our waiter Liam. I'm a senior citizen and I've eaten all over the world in many restaurants of every size and reputation, but I have never had a waiter as good as Liam. Even in Michelin five star restaurants in Europe . He was extremely pleasant, courteous, personable and ensured that we had a memorable dining experience. Let's face it. The food can be extraordinary, but if the weight staff sucks, then the experience is horrible. On the other hand of food could be mediocre, but if the service is outstanding, then you might overlook the mediocrity . It was the little things our waiter did like in between the appetizers and the salads and the main meal he came and gave us new napkins and changed all of our silverware. I have not even seen this in five star restaurants. He checked up on us frequently, which is something that waiters rarely do in any restaurant nowadays -- they usually take your order and that's the last you'll see of them until it's time for the check. But Liam checked on us frequently and make sure we had water and whatever we needed. Both my husband and I ordered the herb encrusted grouper. It was literally melt in your mouth grouper with some type of sauce that was made in heaven. The presentation was over orzo. I also had a Caesar salad. The third member of our party had the vodka penne. She loves Italian food and she said it was delicious. The portions were so huge that we had to take some home. Everyone in our party also had a Moscow Mule. For the quality of the food and the service this place was very reasonable --a party of three with cocktails, dinner, appetizers, and salad came to $155 before tax and tip. We will definitely return. And here is hoping that Pomona will last because we need a restaurant like this in downtown Lake Worth.

The menu is not large for American classics but they do have a sushi bar and you can order off that menu as well. We got a watermelon salad, half chicken and burger (only on the lunch menu but they will make it at dinner if you ask). The salad was more than enough for 2 people to split with plenty of watermelon, avocado and goat cheese. The half chicken was well seasoned and not over cooked. Veggies and puree were tasty but definitely had more butter than I would have used at home. Burger was done appropriately and my husband liked that he could get mashed potatoes with it instead of fries. After dinner they let us keep our stuff at the table while my husband took a swim in the ocean. Just a great atmosphere and location.
