Cigars! Just about to finish our dinner over at NY Prime, one of our group decides we need to have some cigars as the finale to the evening - and I could not agree more. We headed over to Case de Montecristo and got some spots at the bar. This is a bigger than usual cigar lounge and there were plenty of folks there on a Thursday night firing up their sticks. Since it was my first time there, and not expecting to be smoking cigars, I needed to hit the humidor. The guy working in there was just fantastic. He walked us through our usual smoke types and styles and recommended some Padrones for us to fire up. The recommendation was spot-on and we went back to the bar for some after dinner drinks to go with our cigars. This place is lively and there seemed to be no shortage of tv's available for sports, plenty of comfy seats to sit and enjoy your stick and or course, a full bar. Casa de Montecristo is a lovely cigar bar and lounge with an equally lovely cigar selection of various brands, tobacco wraps, and leaves, styles, lengths, and gauges. When you think of the cigar lounge, you think of dark wooden interiors with black leather couches and chairs, elegant marble bar counter, and a solid liquor selection to enjoy a drink while you smoke your stick. Casa captures this well. I had known about this place for a while but finally got around to going there with some friends and was not disappointed. Seating on the leather chairs and sofas, smoking on cigars and whiskey, contemplating existence, I enjoyed my experience tremendously. If Casa closer to my current home, I would make frequent trips to enjoy smokes while watching football and the like because unicorns. With this bar, they have a terrific selection of various cigar producers ranging from Rocky Patel and Padron to Oliva and Ashton in the humidor. They have a really good vibe and energy at this cigar bar. Well recommended if you live in the area. read more

I don't do cigar bars because I walk out smelling like an ashtray but they had an outdoor area which is very nice. TV's with sports playing and a great bar from what I could appreciate. If you are in Boca and you want the ultimate in cigar experiences, Prime is the spot. Their humidor is extensive as is there selection of scotch, whisky, cognac, and wine. Sad to say no beer on tap, but the atmosphere is elegant and their patrons are friendly. Hadn't been back here in about 4 or 5 years, not sure why because I really like this place. On my return, my server was Jade who was exceptional. Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. When I was stumped on my scotch choice she made a recommendation which was exceptional. Their humidor is extensive from high end stogies to some reasonably priced sticks. If you can't find a cigar you like here, then you just don't like cigars. read more

I checked out this place yesterday looking for a wine bar, but was pleasantly surprised to find other great factors about this place. It has a great layout of the lounge, selection of cigars, and TVs to enjoy a game. I had the joy of being served by Lexi and Alex, trying out their old fashions as well as espresso martinis. Both were delicious and even more enjoyable because all of the staff were very kind, welcoming, and professional including the GM. That says a lot about the place as well as numerous local customers spoke highly of the place. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others ! read more

First of all, I come in here every once in a while sometimes I come in here multiple days a week to smoke a cigar the manager is an absolute jerk. I ask him questions. He acts like I'm bothering him people. Beware the bartenders here are absolutely narcissistic and sarcastic and very rude. I've had a terrible experience here and have continued to have a terrible experience every time I come in here I do not come in anymore because I do not want to, the only thing I can say about this place is good. I have certain cigars which I can't find other places and they would not let me bring in my own cigars. I offered to pay them and they told me to get. I was a regular last winter with my husband, at least three visits a week. We came back in November and the minute we walked in, we knew something was wrong, all the great friendly staff was gone, the service was poor and painful, we were extremely disappointed. I've been to over 50 Cigar lounges world wide and I must say. This place has left a lasting impression on me. When I walked in k was greeted personally by the manager Lou, he showed me around sat down and enjoyed a lengthy conversation over a few cigars. As we talked I seen him personally greeted and handshaked almost half the patrons by name who walked in the door. The personal touch made all the difference. The decor, the drinks the cleaniness of the place is by far superior to everywhere I stopped in the greater Miami and FLL area. This has to be the best cigar lounge Boca Raton has to offer. I used to waste my time going to the other ones then I started going to Casa de Montecristo and now unless I'm out of Boca I will not smoke anywhere else. The staff is the best, the managers really make you feel at home and are always helpful whether it's relating to cigars or drinks to pair with a particular cigar. I've been to a few events there and they definitely are rocking!!! In particular, I love the Latin music in the background everyday there and I love Latin night on the last Fridays of every month. The live band is just great and the crowd is beautiful. I definitely recommend this place for your ultimate cigar and bar experience. I have to agree with the other reviewers here, Prime is a five star choice. If there is a comfortable and nice place to relax to watch a sporting event or kick back with friends, this one is the place. Prime is very nicely decorated and has an atmosphere of both comfortable but a bit nicer than your average bar, all in one. Many different areas such as a "living room" type area with chairs and a large screen TV to the area around the bar with TVs, to other designated sitting areas...there is a place for anyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff was great, talkative and helpful, and making sure you were taken care of. A very sizable walk in humidor has many many choices of cigars if that is your choice for kicking back for the night, and they are a full service bar as well. No bar food however, from what I saw, pretzels in a bowl on the bar though. The night I went over was a night for watching this year's NBA finals. A good crowd was there, and they were all enjoying the game and the bar atmosphere. They were all very socialable as well, a sign of the relaxed environment. The place did well and I can see why a lot of people opted for Prime instead of Hooters across the lot (I know I did, and glad I did). Bottom line: This wine and cigar bar is a top choice for kicking back and relaxing in Boca Raton. Definitely will visit these guys again if I am in the area! read more

Casa De Montecristo by Prime Cigar is my go-to cigar lounge in Boca. The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing afternoon or evening and they have a fantastic selection of cigars and Wine and Liquors. I'm primarily a Scotch drinker and the have a deep selection of Whisky and other Brown spirits as well as a great selection of Wine and Champagnes. There is plenty of seating both indoor and outside in their large outdoor seating area and I have always felt comfortable there no matter when I visit or how much I spend. On my last visit, Lynn, the bartender was great with just the right amount of attention. She makes a great old fashioned and made my experience special. This was my first visit to any cigar bar, so I don't really have anything to compares to. However, the experience was still great. My knowledge of cigars is pretty much as extensive as what I've seen in movies..... basically old dudes with 3 piece suits making assumed high brow comedic quids while quoting rounders with "Cameroon finish." Well, my coworker invited me, and my attitude was to just be honest. Aka "hi, I have no idea what I'm Doing. But here's $20. Show me something." The clerk (not sure if there is a term for a cigar specialist like a Som) giggled, but made it an easy and educational process. He handed me a cigar, gave me some background on it, and handed me change of about $13. Right off the bat, I appreciated the honest help. He walked me over to the punching station, helped me get set up, and then I went to the more Familiar area- the bar- and utilized my remaining change for a glass of makers on the rocks. The outside area is really relaxing, and the inside isn't actually filled with plumes if smoke. The lounge chairs are pretty comfy.... except when you sit for too long and compress the cushion. Then your skin-to-skin with the black woven wood. Needless to say, very much enjoyed my visit, will be back to try a different stogie, or to just drink more and pretend I like cigars read more

Just went to Casa de Montecristo in Boca Raton for the first time in two years and had a fantastic experience. Ringo provided a lot of help and good advice in the humidor, as he really knows his cigars. They have an excellent selection of cigars such as Montecristo, Padron, Liga Privada, Romeo y Julieta, Fuente Opus X, and many others. The bartenders did an excellent job serving and checking on me to see if I needed anything. The selection of wine, beer, and spirits is absolutely amazing. The seating is spacious and comfortable. Just moved to Boca and have visited this spot every day for the past few weeks. The service is always awesome, and the management team is exceptional! The manager, Lou is amazing! He knows everyone by name and greats every patron with appreciation. The cigar selection is the best I've experienced, the bar scene is very chill. All of the staff make you feel like a "somebody" whether you are or not. This is my place to go when I've had one of those days or just want to be pampered.
