We hit it right since it was restaurant month, a three course dinner for $ 75. Great Happy Hour. Very nice small dining room but a large separate bar area. Excellent wine list. We started with a dozen oysters, not part of the 3 course dinner. There have a choice of 4 types, we chose PEI and blue point, great. For starters, choices are Organic Greens Salad, Caesar Salad, or Maine Lobster Bisque for an additional $ 5. I chose the Caesar Salad which was very good and my wife opted for Maine Lobster Bisque which she thought was great. For mains, the choices are Norwegian Salmon, Mustard and Rye Whiskey Glazed with Baby Carrots, Spinach, 8 oz Center-Cut Filet Mignon, or Double Breast of Chicken with Lemon-Garlic Butter Sauce, Fingerling Potatoes, Asparagus. For an upcharge you can select Chilean Sea Bass, steamed Hong Kong Style with Light Soy Broth of $ 10 , Sliced Filet Mignon with Oyster and Shiitake Mushrooms for $12, or 22 oz Prime Bone-In Ribeye add 20. I visited Eddie V's on October 2026. I am sure that this goes without saying but this is a pricey establishment to go in general for more so a special occassion. The food was pretty good, the service was surely second to none, and the decor was very nice. There was live music. The manager even came by our table to make sure that we were all fine. Kaylah the professional server was excellent at her job. Note that Eddie V's felt like a Houston's Restaurant as it is not a super high-end steakhouse, but more so a rather fine dining establishment. My wife, and I and two dear friends celebrated my birthday at Eddie V's on or around 5/20/26. The space was dark with a beautiful and elegant ambiance. I ordered the crab cake which was delicious and the lobster tail which was nicely done albeit dissapointingly small for the money paid. My lobster bisque needed fresh cracked pepper but we found no one on the floor to help us. After giving up I ate about half the soup. We finally found someone on the floor who handed us a pepper Shaker. Our regular server was lovely but was overwhelmed with too many tables. There was no Maitre d' to manage the floor. Frankly, that left us feeling neglected. The other dishes on the table were fine, except for the Brussel Sprouts, which no one seemed to like. I do understand that it may be hard to hire enough people in this terrible economy so that the restaurant remains profitable. They started our table off with the most tender perfectly cooked steak slices, bread with garlic infused butter, and thai/asian calamari. The restaurant is located in Mizner Park, where there is street metered parking. Or, you can valet for $15. We parked on the street for $4 for 2 hours. From the time you walk in until you leave, service is exceptional. From the greeters to the server, helpers, and even a manager, who stopped by our table. Now the food. The bread was crusty, yet soft and warm in the middle and was accompanied by a salty butter that made it addictive. We had the calamari appetizer. The presentation was very appealing. The sauce that came with it was very tasty, but it didn't help make the calamari stand out. It was average. For our main entrees, we ordered the ribeye and the scallops with side dishes of crab fried rice and asparagus. My husband loved his ribeye, even though I thought it was a bit salty. The scallops were done very nicely, but it definitely was too salty. I asked them to replace the polenta that came with the dish, and I got sauteed spinach instead. It was probably one of the best I have ever had. (Sometimes the small things can be impressive.) The crab fried rice is definitely made authentically, with no soy sauce. Again, I made a special request, "no scallions," and they obliged. Hubby really liked his asparagus. But it, too, was a tad salty. We splurged for dessert and shared a creme brulee. It was extremely rich and creamy and delicious. We received a $100 gift card in the mail from this particular location, which is what prompted us to try the restaurant. One appetizer, two entrees, two side dishes, and a dessert with tax and tip was $250. We had the $100 complimentary gift card from the restaurant; so, we spent $150 on dinner for two. read more

We celebrated Paul's birthday. Jerry Benson made it very special for us. We started with a champagne toast and we ended with a trio of desserts with a flambé presentation. We brought our closest friends to celebrate with us and they loved it too. The music and decor was chic and alluring. We want to return and sit in the bar room and enjoy the music and maybe happy hour next time. We feel it's the nicest steak and seafood restaurant in our area. We've been to most of them. As far as what we ate, we were all very happy. We had 1/2 dozen oysters, shrimp cocktail, bone-in ribeye steak cooked to perfection, 19 oz. filet mignon, sole fish, baked potato, Mac & cheese, roasted Brussels sprouts, crab and shrimp fried rice. Upon entering Eddie V's, I was warmly greeted by the hostess as she confirmed my reservation. I was quickly seated in the high top section near the bar. In the far right corner were a piano and drum set, leading me to assume live music plays at a specific time at the restaurant. My server, Sheba, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu, helping me decide on my wine choice - Hermann Riesling - which was crisp and lightly sweet. I wanted to try their Thanksgiving dinner, so Sheba told me it included sliced roasted turkey, brioche sage stuffing, homemade mashed potatoes, French green beans, and cranberry chutney. The meal not only looked but also tasted delicious. The turkey was moist and succulent. The stuffing, cranberry chutney, and mashed potatoes were each flavorful with different spices. I would have preferred the green beans a bit more tender, but they were tasty in their crunchy texture. Along with a hot latte, I also had a scrumptious pumpkin pie tartlet with pecan ice cream for dessert. My first dining experience at Eddie V's exceeded my expectations: from the warm, relaxed ambiance and the well-prepared food, to the impeccable service. We had such a great experience at Eddie V's in Boca! We called the day of for a Saturday night reservation, and the hostess was incredibly polite and friendly, which made a great first impression. Our options were 5:00 or 8:45, so we took the 8:45 reservation. We arrived around 8:20 to see if they might be able to seat us a little earlier. We were greeted right away, told our table would be ready soon, and offered champagne while we waited. Such a nice touch! The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's dark, modern, upscale, and romantic, with a large bar and lounge featuring live jazz music, as well as a separate dining area. We ended up sitting in the lounge and loved the atmosphere. Our server, Adrianna, was extremely friendly and attentive. We started with drinks. We ordered the Private Plane, which comes with a cute little paper airplane and a large square ice cube, and a vodka martini. Both were excellent and strong, which I personally prefer! We decided to do several appetizers instead of entrées and ordered the lobster tacos, Wagyu dumplings, and burrata and tomato salad. Everything was excellent with great portions and tons of flavor. The lobster tacos were outstanding and probably my favorite lobster tacos I've ever had. Then came dessert. We couldn't decide between the Bananas Foster and the brownie with ice cream. Adrianna told us she had an idea and would take care of it. She came back with both desserts on the house! We were completely surprised. They were both so good that I honestly couldn't decide which one I liked better, so I'm glad we got to try both! The manager also stopped by to check on us, which was another nice touch. What really stood out was how special they made us feel. It was just an ordinary Saturday date night for us, but from the champagne when we arrived to the service and surprise desserts, they turned it into something memorable. Stopped by last night with my kids for dinner. It was my second time dining here and after my first great experience (I gave them 5 stars) I was really looking forward to it. First and foremost, have to give respect to our server Avi who was on point all evening. He did a great job answering questions, assisting with requests and bringing out our food in a timely manner. Another plus was the atmosphere. There's no question that the vibe here is fantastic. They had a live jazz band playing, the lighting level was good, and noise level was just right and the dining room was comfortable and elegant. As for the food I was a little bit disappointed with the quality, especially considering our first visit was so fantastic. I got the spicy Yellowfin sashimi app which was pretty good but we all thought that the tuna tartar and crispy rice was a little underwhelming. The beef dumplings were okay, nothing special. The biggest disappointment of the evening were the steaks, which I obviously expected to be the highlight. We all got 10 oz filets. They were seared well, but lacked seasoning and flavor. My steak was also way undercooked from my medium request, it was much closer to rare. My kids also had tough, fatty bits in their steaks which was surprising since they're filets. The asparagus we got for the table to split was OK, nothing to write home about. Overall not a bad night, but I mean for $300 bucks the food should be perfect. And it wasn't. Best Makers Mark Manhattan delivered by Steve our fun, well informed, and very professional Server. Good service really ups the ante on a great meal. Ordered the crusted lamb chops and Steve had them lollipopped for me. They were awesome and when you added the Chimmichuri sauce were outrageous. Be sure you order something that goes with their mashed potatoes. Don't miss them. Wife had lobster tacos, friends had the filet mignon and sole and were equally happy. My wife and I went to Eddie V's with two dear friends. It was my 70th birthday. I ordered the crab cake, the lobster bisque and two stuffed shrimp and lobster tails. We ordered the Brussel Sprouts and the potatoes au gratin for the table. Our friends ordered the lamb chops and salmon. I found the food to be hot and delicious, although my wife didn't like the sides we ordered. Our waitress was lovely and accommodating. My daughter took me here for my birthday. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar. My margarota was really good. It had the right amount of alcohol. Wr proceeded to dinner by the band. We started off sharing the BLT salad. This was nothing special and they drowned it in dressing. I like dressing but the was over the top. We started off ordering a 10 ounce filet mignon and mashed potatoes to share. The filet was very skimpy. I don't think it was nearly that size. So we ordered another one. That was about the same size as the first. The mashed potatoes were good. They did not have a ton of flavor but what it did have worked well with the ingredients. This was my first time eating at this location. Overall, I prefer the Las Olas one. It was Mom's birthday and we started at the bar. She ordered a spicy margarita and I ordered the Bulleit Sour. Let me say, this drink was not super strong, but it was delicious. It is one of the best flavored drinks I ever had. It is on the sour side. It was amazing and I will definitely get this in the future. I also ordered oysters and oysters rockefeller. The rockefeller ones were just ok. I did not love the flavor, too bland for me. The regular oysters were high quality and had that ocean flavor I love. We split everything we ordered at the table. This includes a wedge blt salad, filet mignon and mashed potatoes. The salad came out fairly quickly. The kitchen is nice and splits everything so it makes life a lot easier at the table. Now Mom did ask for extra dressing. I was shocked at the amount of dressing they put on the salad. Plus, we each got a side of dressing, even though I did not ask for one. This salad is not even that big. I mean, it felt gross to be honest. The salad was swimming in the dressing. The salad was ok but there was not enough bacon. The steak was absolutely delicious!! This is one of my favorite places for filet mignon. I do think the steak was less than the 10 ounces mentioned. We each got 3 small pieces and it was not enough. So, we had to order another one. Other times we have split a filet and it was enough. The mashed potatoes, as stated on the menu, are simple. They are not bad and they are not fantastic. They did come out hot. Tonight I tried the sides. Yep the Brussels sprouts tasted like Brussels sprouts. Not my favorite but my guests seem to enjoy. I had a cup of lobster bisque that was so good. It was our second annual family Xmas Eve dinner and Eddie V's made it merry and bright. We made a reservation ahead of time for an early dinner at the Mizner Park location, which is situated in a walkable area filled with other restaurants and boutiques in Boca. It's one of my favorite areas in the city. Plus, there's plenty of street and garage parking, but do plan to give yourself a bit of extra time before your reservation to find a spot. We always find a spot nearby at the metered parking lot off NE 2nd St. Once inside, we were greeted by the host and were guided past a long, dim hallway to our table, a semi-circle booth perfect for a party of five (plus a baby) overlooking much of the intimate dining room. My baby was in a stroller, and we had plenty of space. Our table started off with the cocktail shrimp appetizer (so fresh and delicious!) and drinks, including an old fashioned and a gin martini. We split a Caesar salad before our entrees arrived - two of us ordered the scallops dish, which was divine, and we also got the filet mignon, salmon and the special, which included a filet and a tempura battered lobster. We selected the perfectly grilled asparagus and the cheesiest of cheesy au gratin cheddar potatoes as our accompaniments. We didn't do dessert this evening but I do recommend the bananas foster butter cake, which they flambé table side. Everything was perfectly cooked, came out in a timely manner and the waiter was super attentive. Another excellent Xmas Eve dinner in the books. It was our anniversary and they went out of their way to make us feel special, from glitter on the table, an anniversary card, GM and other staff wishing us a happy anniversary, to an amazing anniversary dessert (see pic). My wife and I were lucky enough to get invited to Nicole C's birthday celebration. She rented out the beautiful private room. Everything was 5 star , including the smokey old fashioned I enjoyed. Our main server and her helpers were amazing. Food was outstanding. From the shrimp and steak appetizers, the soup ,salad main entree to dessert. I got the Filet, my wife got the fish. The filet was a little on the medium side, but that's the way I prefer. My wife's dish was cooked perfectly. Even the sides were delicious. The show stopper was the classic creme brulee. Also showcased was the unbelievable bananas foster butter cake, and mixed berries and creme. This was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I have had. I had the stuffed shrimp with crab and accompanied by scallops with lemon drawn butter. Listening to the love music was definitely a vibe. The overall scene was great for a long afterwork Tuesday night. People filled but not too crowded. I will say that I realized that I was not in the NY/NJ area anymore, as the wait was a bit longer than the desired but we'll worth it!! My meal was delicious!! Just enough 4 stuffed shrimp and the buttery scallops sound skimpy... but filling, passing on dessert. My waitress Adrianna C. was wonderful and ask smiles at every table side visit. Eddie V's located at end of Mizner Park. Outside is mysterious, with no windows and somewhat disguised door entrance. Once in you're greeted with the hostesses on one side and bar on the other. They always have a band playing which is great! You can even hear them softly in the dinning room. My one issue was both hostesses had a slight attitude which was off putting especially for the start of your experience. When she walked us to the table you could see/feel the negative energy! We've been here before but only for drinks at the bar which are top notch! The food was outstanding. We had the wagu beef dumpling appetizer which was very tasty with a side of Asian dipping sauce. I had the Parmesan Sole which was simply delicious! Generous portion with two large filets with heirloom tomatoes and garlic butter sauce. This dish was savory yet delicate. A must try! My husband had the Georges Bank Scallops which were outstanding! Perfectly cooked and accompanied by citrus fruit, Marconi almond with brown butter. The flavors complimented the scallops so beautifully! The ambience in the restaurant is dark and cozy. Definitely a great date night place. We went last hour and got lucky to have the right bartender Julian he from cali. Wow what an amazing bartender. So lucky they have him. I kept thinking of more high end restaurants he deserves to be at. He had a great presence about him. We didn't get any food except a dessert because we ate else where. The chocolate cake was not good. The martini he made and the way he served it and acknowledged us as his guests I will say was refreshing. Especially compared to there other locations where our bartender ignored us and did the least he could to engage with us. Beautiful live music. Warm bread with a delicious butter. Amazing cocktails. The waitstaff is knowledgeable about all of the dishes and can give recommendations on the spot. They package your leftovers for you. They also are happy to split your dishes between the table in the kitchen as needed. A small touch but my absolute favorite detail is they wipe crumbs from the table between each course. I'm leading with my photos in this review. I'm always delighted when there is consistency between different locations of the same restaurant. The Eddie V's in Boca Raton was just as good as its "sisters" in Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa and Chicago. The restaurant is attractive. The seats just a bit low (but when you stand over 6' 4" that's not surprising). The noise level was quite high, but Boca Raton is the bastion of the loud, obnoxious, crowd. Our server, Angeline was friendly and quite knowledgeable about the menu. She was just a bit harried and- but not really her fault. The star here is the food: The Lobster Tacos were tasty, the Lobster Bisque rich and creamy. The Steak Tartare was prepared table-side - great taste, nice consistency and good flavor. The Parmesan Crusted Sole was nicely coated and not at all dry. The Stuffed Shrimp were delightful, the Norwegian Salmon was perfectly cooked, tender and nicely presented. The prize main was my Chilean Sea Bass. It was perfectly steamed and served with a sweet miso soy sauce. The radish salad was a nice and refreshing accompaniment. Excellent service and food. Julian was our server and was excellent. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and enjoyed the whole dining process. My ribeye steak was ordered medium well and the chef cooked it that way. The manager visited our table and we said everything was great and thank you. We will be back! read more

This was my second time eating Eddie v's but 1st time at this location. Our waitress sage was so amazing an attentive and the overall experience was fantastic and sage are waitresses was funny perfect at being attentive with us. The place was clean we sat outside on the patio. Nice street view. read more

We have had three happy hour experiences at Eddie V's, sitting in the bar lounge. The happy hour offerings were quite good as well as the selection of appetizers. Drinks were pricey at non HH, $20. They shake your martini table-side, and frankly, one server complained or rather whined that she was shaking it so vigorously that her hand was cold. She gave it to us to touch and indeed it was. We thought "well she has another hand!" Service was attentive if not a bit amateurish. Note, our experiences were within the first month of opening, so we are hopeful that it will only get better. (Update - it has, both at the bar and at the dining tbale. Our last server was TIFFANY, and she was awesome. Upbeat, truly happy to be employed at Eddie V's. She explained one of the specials in uch an appealing manner, I ordered it. And it was an excellent.) Over all we were impressed and would return and recommend others to do so! read more
