Do Not Recommend: 2 stars only for the view of ocean Place was not busy, however, our waitress took forever to come to the table, our drinks & food took longer than expected for a place that's not busy. Food came out wrong, and the food that was correct was cold - the menu is very plain. Simple menu, shouldn't have been such a problem. How do you have a ceaser salad on the menu but not have the dressing?!? And than not even adjust the check to reflect the lack of a vital component of the meal, the food being wrong in the first place & having to wait for a salad to come out tasteless and the other plates to come out cold. Drinks were not refilled, waitress was hard to call over, others seen us trying to get her attention and walked past. Definitely will not go back nor recommend. read more

Jb's is definitely a national treasure. The beach vibes & live music on the patio will always set your wknd mood to tropical vacay mode even if you're a local. The bites are delish, drinks poured to puuuurfection and let's just say I stayed longer for the bartending eye candy. Lol, don't judge me. 4/23/26- wow great location , right on the beach. Ocean views. Valet parking only $7:00. I've had most of the menu over the years. Today I ordered the Asian salmon bowl .Big salad nice size salmon. It was delicious. I ate everything. One had a nice looking burger, the other had Janet's Lobster & shrimp salad . Big salad all delious. Plus the service is excellent. read more

Went for brunch on Sunday. It was an absolute perfect day. The view and the music were great and our server was lovely. My significant other ordered the brunch burger and I ordered the fish and chips. They were delicious and far too much food so we boxed up the leftovers and got roped into the banana and blueberry bread pudding. Oh. My. God. Beyond scrumptious! We didn't finish that either but I will say I've had some yummy leftovers the last few days. We will be back. read more

JB's on the Beach was excellent! I had the blackened mahi bowl and it was SO good -- definitely something I'd recommend if you go. The atmosphere was really nice too, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Outside, there was what looked like a stage for live music, which gave the place a fun beach vibe. We walked there from the beach, so I can't personally speak on parking, but I'd assume it's similar to other spots in the area with mostly paid parking nearby. Our waitress was wonderful and added to the great experience. I'd absolutely go back! read more

Gotta love this location. Outdoor seating viewing the beach and listening to the band. That alone makes this a great spot. Add the attentive service and the fresh large portions of seafood and this is winning combo. You must try the scallop appetizer as well as the ceviche. Both are excellent. I tried their Bahamian seafood chowder and banzinio fresh caught fish. It was delicious. Service is friendly. It gets busy after 6pm. It has outdoor and indoor seating. You get ocean view and there was live music today. When I came restaurant parking was full and parked at paid parking and tbh it is paid everywhere in Deerfield. read more

This is the best spot on Deerfield Beach. The lobster flatbread is the tastiest thing on the sand. The blackened mahi bowl is the perfect fish bowl out of the sea. However, the key lime pie isn't the best but it was tasty enough. The highlight of the meal is the lobster flatbread... it's the tastiest flatbread you'll ever put in your mouth! Our waitress Alecia made an excellent recommendation for the Seafood Paella, it was excellent, plenty of shrimp, mussels, squid and clams. Great birthday dinner with the family. Our server (Sauda?- the check said Sarah A, but she pronounced it sounding the way I spelled it) was fantastic. Kind, warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, quick and attentive. I had been here once before and it wasnt great but I dont like to leave negative reviews. This time was much better. Sat outside on the patio and it was a beautiful night. Dynamite Scallops are a must-have. I got the whole fried Snapper and it was incredible. If you know how to cut and eat a whole fish you should get this dish. The accompaniments were perfectly matched. Our server even brought a birthday dessert which I was honestly not expecting at all. Hard to beat eating beachside and the decor is fun. We enjoyed the ceviche, pina coladas and I had the whole red snapper. Everything was very good and the seafood was fresh. Be aware that it is a sit down leisure vibe. Service is not fast but I think that is intentional. Also if you sit outside the birds are looking to hang out too hoping for scraps but it's a small trade off for the ocean breeze. read more

We've been to JB's on the Beach before. Last night, Even on the second try, the espresso martini still tasted more like chilled vodka with only a slight coffee flavor. The seafood paella had good flavor, but some of the shellfish clearly hadn't been cleaned properly, leaving sand/grit in a few bites. We mentioned it to our server , but there really wasn't much response. Best thing we had was the mahi sandwich it was fresh, delicious, topped with arugula, and they happily swapped the fries for asparagus. You can not beat the beautiful beachfront atmosphere always a nice evening. read more

Great locations and fun menu! We met friends from Delray and what a great spot - we sat outdoors overlooking the beach and pier. The view is awesome. They do have fans and it's covered but I was a little warm and might have been better in Air cond. we all had drinks - I had the Floridian beer and enjoyed very much. We shared two apps - the fish dip and the spinach dip - both yummy. The guys both had the teriyaki chicken and shrimp and said it was a good choice. I had the salad with shrimp and lobster and it was so big I had half left for lunch. My friend had the salmon bowl. No room for dessert. Service was ok and could have been a little more attentive since it wasn't that busy. The real winner is the beach location and you feel like you're on vacation. Great choice. read more

The entire back of the restaurant is right on the shore, so you have an amazing view. I had the ribs. Delicious as the meat fell off the bone, and i Had 2 sides of Home made potato salad( okay) and coleslaw( ok). Came here last night with my cousins for dinner and it was lovely. The food was delicious and the company was even better. I had the Janet shrimp and lobster salad with mango dressing it was to die for... Everybody ooh, and ahh because there was so much shrimp on it... My cousin had seafood paella... It looked very good, but if I must critique, it was a very small portion... And my other cousin had soup, but then he had fish and chips which he said was delicious but I never got a picture of it... We went to JB's on the Beach for brunch today and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We sat outdoors and enjoyed a perfect ocean view. We started with the spinach dip appetizer, which was creamy, flavorful, and great for sharing. For drinks, we had mimosas, a classic mojito, a Strawberry Tsunami, and a virgin piña colada. For food, we ordered the Italian Scramble, Blueberry Cheesecake French Toast, and the Beachside Breakfast. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. We were staying at a hotel in Boca and decided to make a dinner reservation at this place on the beach in Deerfield Beach. It was a great decision. The ambiance outside was fantastic overlooking the beach. The menu offers several appetizers, salads and entrees. I opted for the coconut shrimp. It also came with rice and cole slaw. The shrimp were delicious and accompanied by an orange dipping sauce. My husband had the Cuban snapper. It came with rice and beans, as well as delicious plantains. For dessert, we had the apple tart with ice cream and caramel sauce. It was very good. Service was also good. read more

A friend of mine and I stopped in for dinner. It was fairly busy outside, so we went inside to the bar. Ashley was our bartender and she was fantastic, though mia a few times. She explained to us that she had tables outside and that was why she was gone for short spurts. Weird for her to have to go outside for tables, but understandable for her being gone. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not shellfish allergy friendly so the only thing I was able to try was the spinach and artichoke dip. Ashley gave me saltines to dip into the dip since the chips were fried in the same fryer as shrimp. The dip was great. No complaints about the food, just wish I could have tried more. Family had dinner at JBs last weekend and it was great. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Hostess, servers and bartender very good. Just don't park valet. The "manager" of the parking lot, tall guy, could not be ruder to the elderly patrons. Leaves the cars running in the lot with driver doors opened and key in ignition. Extremely rude doesn't want to hear guests saying concerns. Ruined a great night hearing him talk to this poor older couple. Go to JBs just pay for parking elsewhere, not worth dealing with this jerk. read more
