Great local bar with good tunes. Small and not fancy. We walked in in jeans and shorts. They even had the ingredients for an Espresso Martini Bar tender was a hoot! She made great drinks and was great conversation. Definitely Steelers fans. Lol. We had a couple of beers and Martinis and didn't walk out broke. It's like Cheers! Friendly patrons. Typical dive bar vibe. Old school look inside. Older clientele. Was there at 2 on a Monday and pretty much all seats at bar were taken. Bartenders were older also but knew how to pour a drink and treat a customer. Def lots of regulars in this joint. Good place to have a few cold ones if you're in the area. read more

Hole in the wall, but in a very good way... I've got to say that I had one hell at a time at Uncle Kimmy's. I even got to meet Kimmy! Charming woman, and she knows how to have a good time! Uncle Kimmy's has a great solution of liquor and beer, plus a small assortment of wine. We came in after the Deerfield Beach Sip & Stroll and were greeted by a crowd of what appeared to be regulars at the bar. A number of people came over and said hi, and introduce themselves. We all ended up becoming great friends. Beer and liquor prices were very reasonable. Jonathan the bartender kept slinging drinks, and no one was left waiting. The crowd ranged from late '20s to a gentleman well into a '70s, and everybody got along great. If you're looking for a place that's really comfortable, and where you can make friends really easy, this is it! read more

This is probably my favorite pretzel place to begin with. Drinks are cold because they use real American ice unlike other establishments. Restrooms are clean and quite cozy to be honest. The drinks generally come quick and hard but occasionally pop up like a ninja out of nowhere. If I could I would give 50 stars like the American flag. It's just a damn good bar. read more

I went into Uncle Kimmy's to get a few drinks with friends last night. Since it was remodeled, it looks nice. There was about 5 or so people in there. I ordered a drink & told a quick joke (Stone faced after joke) Then I asked why there was no music playing? The tall male bartender said there was a juke box. I went over and put $10 and played some music. Knowing when I had been there in the past, other bartenders would sometimes put a few credits on the machine, but oh well. Tall male Bartender told me he didn't like my choices. (WHAT THE HELL??) ......... After my music played I ordered another drink & one for 2 of my friends. I asked bartender if he could turn on some music? He rudely said if I wanted music to put $ in machine. I would think after $10 in machine & 2 rounds of drinks, he could at least turn SOMETHING on? So I turned to one of my friends and said, finish up, I was ready to leave. Bartender told me NOT to tell my friend how to drink?? (Not his business to tell me this !!!!) He said he knew my friend . I told bartender that he lives at my house & he is riding with me. I was ready to leave. Bartender told me to get the "F" out and called me the "C" word & threw his nasty bar rag in my face !!!! NEVER AGAIN !!! DON'T go to Uncle Kimmy's when this JERK is working !!! read more
