The beach brewery is a concept that pretty much belongs to Florida. I have been to many beach inspired breweries, with many just being themed and nowhere near a beach. I've been here before but never to such a packed and lively crowd! The swellibration or third year anniversary of being opened party was fantastic! The Cove is my go-to brewery. There are a lot of great ones in the area, but I truly love the vibe here. It has that beachy, breezy, open feeling that makes you just want to relax and enjoy a nice cold beer. They have plenty of indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. Depending on the day, I love that I can bring my dog, typically during the week or later in the evening when it's not too crowded. They have some of the best sours I've ever had, which are my go-to. You can also order food from next door, and they will bring it over, which is a really nice touch. Some of my favorites are the Wagyu sandwich and the tacos. The Cove also hosts lots of events, like Covechella, which features live music and vendors. They even have line dancing on Thursdays, which is so much fun. Great brewery, with a large selection of beers and some outstanding beers of their own. The locale is well designed for small or large groups and has indoor and outdoor seating. Service is great, and if you want some food, they have an arrangement with a couple of neighboring businesses, so you can order online. The system works really well. Each table has a QR code for each restaurant menu, you order and pay from your phone and they bring your food to your table. The QR code tells the restaurant which table you are sitting at. My family are big fans of the Cove Brewery. I came on Saturday night. They had these great musicians playing. I thought they were very talented. We were all talking about them even after we left. This brewery is big inside. There are games inside and out. It has a nice outdoor sitting area. Inside is spread out. The tables have QR codes to oder from. The food comes from three of the restaurant nearby. The food was good. We ordered a series of different things to share. The service was great and friendly. The staff was great. They kept checking on us. That was nice. This is one dog friendly restaurant. It has water stations inside and out. It is also kid friendly. It was after nine and families with small children still came. Personally I was not loving having children run around. Fun times at this Deerfield Beach brewery which is nestled amongst several eateries. The theme was definitely a Key West surf vibe with several surfboards against the wall and the surrounding walls inked with soft colors and bamboo chairs and plants sitting hovering over a light bone colored flooring mimicking the sandy beach. They even have a beer pong table set up for drinking game enthusiasts. They have a small stage for live bands to perform every weekend at 730pm. We met with the charismatic bartender, Johnny, who let us sample their famous Mango Sour 5% - perfect blend of sweet and tart. Per his recommendation we ordered a full four beer flight consisting of three hazy (Tide n' Seek, Refraction Swell, Cosmic Tide) and one sour (Peaches n' Cream) craft beers. I love a good cloudy hazy beer but my favorites are still the sours and still on a journey to find the best in Florida. The prices for the 5 ounce beers are five bucks each, maybe slightly high but worth the extra dollar for a cold sudsy taste of excellence. The brewmaster, Manny, introduced himself and offered us a private tour of the mechanics of the brew making facility. They do not have a kitchen for food production, although, the Chinese restaurant next door will deliver to your table and they are currently working to include other restaurants in the plaza to join this new concept. Wanted to watch the All England, soccer matches and I'm not quite sure how we ended up here but I am glad we did. This place is nice and the craft beer is very good. It's all made in the back and from what I understand, they will be starting to distribute in Total Wine, Publix and ABC liquor soon. I just love little places that can get started and make a name for themselves. Staff is great , friendly and they even have live music here on a Sunday. After spending a hot couple of hours on the beach at the crowded Pioneer Festival and Art Stroll I was in the mood for refreshment so I popped in to check out Cove Brewery, the first ever brewery in Deerfield Beach. From the moment you step through the entrance, the inviting ambiance and passion for craftmanship is obvious. The Cove Brewery is located in the west end of the Cove Shopping Plaza on Hillsboro Blvd. One of the owners is 15 year brew master Corey Wilson who previously worked at Crazy Mike's in Boca Raton. His partners in the project is Whelchel Partners in Boca Raton. The building was a former 24,000 square foot warehouse that has received an over 2 million dollar makeover by architect Steven Cohen & Associates who designed it to be a taproom reminiscent of old Florida. The Cove Brewery has tables, an open floor plan with an indoor and outdoor bar, and outdoor patio seating. In my opinion a brewery is just what The Cove has been missing. During my visit every seat at the bar was taken by patrons enjoying the the 20 brews on tap that were designed to bring a taste of the Florida lifestyle. Tan Man, an amber lager is their most popular brew but I like fruity beers so I chose the light Strawberry Shaka which is described as being vibrant, sweet, and thirst quenching. I concur with all three. It was exactly what I was craving. In addition to beer they also serve wine, sake, seltzer, and alcohol free drinks. If you are hungry you can scan the QR code and have food delivered to your seat from Won-Tom's, an Asian inspired dim sum and seafood kitchen next door. The ordering process could not have been easier and I was able to check out with Apple Pay. I had my food delivered to my seat at the bar minutes later.
