I really loved this rooftop! The views of the ocean and Pompano Pier are amazing. Happy hour is great, with a nice selection of drinks and bites to enjoy. The sliders were delicious, as were the tacos! I do think the quality of the drinks could be a little better, but overall, I had a great time here and would definitely recommend checking it out for the views and food! Service was quick and very friendly as well which was great.
Kelly was a great server and made sure we were well taken care of- we just showed up - not sure if reservations are required. My daughter and I decided to visit the local Jellyfish Museum in Pompano, and that's a review soon to come. The food was great. We had the sliders with truffle fries and the mahi mahi tacos- yum The red wines were chilled and I wasn't a big fan of that, but I was given a taster before committing to a glass of wine. The views were beautiful - even at night. Great way to unwind and recap the day. Nice that it was on the roof of our hotel- very convenient.
Went to Thursday all day happy hour. Drinks were great. Service was great. Tried all the food from happy hour and enjoyed all. Best views to see pompano!

I came on a Friday. This was a nice, casual spot with a beautiful view. It was located next to a Hilton. The sign to the restaurant was small. I say the hotel first. The property had valet parking. To both sides of this restaurant the city had pay the meter parking spots. It was a fun spot. They have some days that they have fun events going. They have a list by the elevator. The atmosphere was good and the crowd a good mixed. The menu was small. We ordered flatbread, street tacos and something else that looked like a big toast. Everything tasted great. Food service was fast. The flatbread was my favorite thing. I got a drink that was also good it was watermelon and jalapeños. The mix was tasty. The staff on point. They checked on us. They kept coming around. They were very friendly. The vive was fun and the music great.

I grew up hearing stories about the fabulous rotating dining room with sweeping panoramic views of the city, so experiencing Pier Top 66 for my birthday felt like stepping into a piece of Fort Lauderdale history brought back to life. The room completes a full rotation every 66 minutes, powered by a motor with just two horsepower. The sheer feat of engineering is worth experiencing alone. As the room slowly turns, downtown glows in the distance, boats move through the waterways below, and the city lights seem to unfold around you. I actually love that Pier Top 66 has been reimagined as a luxury lounge. With 66 minutes to experience the full rotation and so many incredible dinner options in Fort Lauderdale, this is the perfect place to end your evening with cocktails, seafood and small bites. And the food absolutely delivered. I had a perfectly crisp dirty martini with blue cheese-stuffed olives and oysters served over ice with crème fraîche, chives, caviar and EDIBLE GOLD! The bao buns were pillowy, slightly spicy and generously portioned. The shrimp cocktail was incredible -- absolutely MASSIVE shrimp served beautifully chilled over ice. We finished with a dessert trio of mango cheesecake, macaron and opera cake. Martin at the bar was incredible. Warm, attentive and engaging, he elevated the entire experience. In a place where the view could easily be the star, Martin reminded us that exceptional hospitality is what makes an evening truly memorable. The only thing lacking was more time to take it all in. Pier Top 66 carries something you simply cannot manufacture: legacy. It is engineering, history, cocktails, seafood, hospitality and old Fort Lauderdale glamour wrapped into one 66-minute revolution above the city I call home. 10/10. If you don't enjoy this experience, I'm convinced you ordered the wrong things. Get the martini. Get the oysters. Get the seafood. Ask for Martin. Stay for the full rotation. And watch Fort Lauderdale sparkle beneath you.
The views and the vibes were so phenomenal! The Mahi tacos were too good absolutely loved the flavor and the pineapple salsa within. The grilled wings were also very flavorful and tasty. Also the waiters recommendation of the pineapple margarita was spot on!
Super nice ambiance with amazing views! went here with a party of 3 to enjoy the vibes and we did certainly that! We had a couple of drinks with the rooftop view and enjoyed a very tasty dessert aswell. Only thing I would have to say is about the service, it was a little slow. Next time I come I am exited to try the food and give it another chance!
Love this place. You can see the water from the rooftop the drinks were good and the service was better. Love the rooftop fire pit. I'd you want to overlook the beach this is the spot.
About last night! Hahaha... Latin night! After dinner we decided why not! We could hear the music from downstairs. We are both no longer all nighters or party goers especially with the type of careers we have. I was impressed. The last time I came to this rooftop bar was when it first opened and it was so dead! It was nice to see our Pompano Beach community enjoying the night to our Latin beats haha.... Curious what they have on other nights. Can't post on drinks because we both don't drink but I'm assuming delish because EVERYONE had a drink lolol... so another location to add to your list if you're ever in the area.... :)))

A rooftop overlooking the ocean with strong drinks and friendly locals? Sounds like a win in my book! We went to Pier 6 on a windy night- probably not the best idea but it certainly kept us busy chasing down our drink coasters and napkins! If you go- it's on top of the Hilton and once inside the hotel- go to the right to find the elevator that will whisk you to the top! Also- if you drive, while the hotel has valet- there is street parking nearby as well as a parking garage about a block away. We sat at the bar and enjoyed our drinks. We didn't eat so I can't comment on the food but the drinks were well poured. There are little firepit areas around and some little seating groups which looked like a great place to wile away a sunny afternoon. It was also nice that unlike some of the rooftops- it wasn't packed so you can sit and enjoy the view. While probably not a destination in itself for me, I'll definitely go again to grab a drink before heading to one of the restaurants in the area! read more

We came here last night for the Battle of the Decades event on a date night. Sadly, the event was pretty dead, and I even dressed up :(, but we decided to stay and give the restaurant a try. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I unfortunately forgot her name, but she took our order right away. We ordered a Long Island, Pineapple Margarita, Shrimp Cocktail, and Ceviche Mixto. The food was a bit of a letdown. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet our food took a while to come. The shrimp cocktail comes with 6 shimps. I was really disappointed with the ceviche. It had no flavor, and I had to ask for salt, pepper, and hot sauce just to give it some taste. The bowl was large, but the actual portion of ceviche was not. I definitely left still hungry. I will say, the location is beautiful. The restaurant sits right by the ocean, and there are areas with fireplaces that create a nice atmosphere. After eating, you can walk toward the pier,which is near the hotel. Since this was my first time in the area, I'm not sure what time it normally closes. Overall, I think the views and atmosphere are the best part, but the food definitely needs some improvement. read more

This one caught us off guard! We make it a point to try different places around pompano and had ever even heard of this place! On top of a hotel the view was great! Cynthia was our server and she was fast and friendly and gave us great tips. Between the three of us we ordered a flat bread pizza, shrimp cocktail, caprese appetizer, oysters and sliders. Food and drinks came out fast, hot and really good. We'll be back! read more
Fun, lovely little rooftop bar that I don't have to go all the way south to downtown Fort Lauderdale for, conveniently up in Pompano by the pier. Had absolutely excellent service this evening from a gentleman whose name I regrettably did not catch, but he made great conversation and was very attentive. Food was decently good, bit pricey but it's a rooftop bar so not unexpected and not a deterrent. Drinks were good as well, the key lime martini had all the lovely elements of a key lime pie. Charcuterie board definitely came with more volume than expected, a pleasant surprise. Nice spot, great views over the pier. Will need to come back to try lunch. read more

Beautiful ocean views!! You don't have to be a tourist- locals welcome to drop in to the Tru by Hilton, take the elevator up to the top, and relax with a beverage and enjoy the view of the ocean. At sunset, you can see that too from one side of the roof! Service is great, the team is fun and appear to enjoy their jobs. They offer nice spreads for groups, as well as various small meals and appetizers. Pier 6 is outdoors, but there are a couple covered areas and some umbrellas. There's several seating areas with gas fire pits as well. Clean restrooms located just inside. read more

Food was decent nothing spectacular, the grilled octopus was not like I expected or had before but my lady enjoyed it. The sliders were basic and the shrimp cocktail was plated which I didn't really care for . A bit overpriced, the best thing was the ocean view you were able to overlook. Do not go for sun set as the sun is blocked out from the buildings unless sun is setting over the ocean . read more
Best view of the beach in Pompano! This rooftop bar is above the Tru Hotel. There is a parking garage within walking distance. The handcrafted cocktails were reasonably priced and the menu had lots of options for food. Besides plenty of seating at the bar, there were small tables and comfortable couches with a fantastic view. read more

I heard there was a nice rooftop bar in Pompano and I could never figure out where it was. Tonight, while My husband and I were walking on the pier, 2 nice girls asked if we wanted free drinks. Well that's a no brainer! It's on the roof of the Home2Suite Hilton Hotel which is a block off the beach on NE 2nd and A1A. There's a big parking garage right next door and you don't need to be a hotel guest to go upstairs. The rooftop is big with 2 bars and plenty of seating. Some seating areas have fireplaces and the views are beautiful. A nice place to watch the sunset. I see people complaining about prices, but I have to admit... that's the cost of a cocktail these days. Happy hour is every day from 3-6 and some nights after 6 there's live music. Service is great. We met Kel and Rachel who went out of their way to make sure we had great drinks and a great time. It's a nice place to relax, chill and take in the beautiful ocean view. read more

This place has a lot of potential because the rooftop views are absolutely beautiful. You get such a good view of the beach, and Pompano as a city. However, they are very sneaky about tacking on a service charge and don't even mention it to you when they present your bill. If I had noticed that, we would've ended up leaving double the tip on an already overpriced tab. The bartenders were a mess. The place was empty, and I can see why. On top of it all, there was someone doing cocaine in the bathroom stall next to me, and when I came out, I was surprised to see that it was one of the bartenders that was serving me! I have friends in Pompano Beach so I sometimes hang out here. My friends took me here yesterday. I'm a big fan of the pompano beach, lauderdale by the sea area as I think it's super chill. This is on the top floor of a hotel and it was constructed in a certain way where you can enjoy the view from like 4 different directions. This place has huge potential for socializing, events, chilling out etc. I only had a diet coke and a pinata colada which was inexpensive for South Florida at like $10 to $12 if I recall correctly. It was busy at 6pm and the staff was great and fast. Pretty good crowd upscale crowd too. Next time I go I'll spend more time and actually drink a few glasses of wine. Random observation: the area is rife with tiki bars that have some of the same crowd every night ...here it's a different group of people who are people who live nearby, some people on vacation and people checking it out from 10 miles away. New rooftop bar to the area and what a treat this place was! Small and intimate rooftop for a perfect view of the sunset. * Casual attire or you can dress up * Appetizers only * Drinks were pretty good * Views were breathtaking at sunset * Appetizers were really good. I personally enjoyed the spinach dip very much. The BBQ pizza was a big hit as well. I couldn't stop the boys before my photo lol (sorry) will be coming back, very happy this is in my neighborhood, pricing was also very reasonable. * I don't recall hearing music, that's be a good touch * I wasn't impressed by the food, drinks or staff. Immaculate vibes. Beautiful view, heavenly spot. Open tables available on both days that we visited. Great live music, delicious drinks and food. When I return to Pompano this spot is number one on my list. Piña Colada, flat breads and artichoke dip was delicious. Would recommend. Service was friendly and good. read more
