Yes you need to pay but it's much less than LBTS and many other restaurant locations! There is both inside and outside seating most of the outside seating is under cover from the elements. My first time here and I chose an outdoor high top ( not under cover). It was partly cloudy and I was certain no rain on the way. I was wrong and just as I took one bite of my eggplant meatballs- pouring rain! Two of the servers- John was one and I don't know the other young man's name - they came so quickly and picked up all my things to minimize us getting wet! They were like Superheroes! I appreciated their quick response. Also assuring they were making a fresh appetizer for me. I moved to the outside bar ( completely under cover) and Todd took great care of me! I'm a fan for life! Great customer care and incredibly professional! Now to the absolutely delicious food!!! The happy hour is fabulous with great options! The main menu has something for everyone! I chose to order off the main menu. I ordered the Eggplant Meatballs.. wow!!!! Please refer to my pictures.. a very large portion of 5 meatballs! Unbelievably delicious! So much flavor and easily shareable! I did see a few of their flatbreads and burgers and they are my new choice! Both looked delicious!! I've been here a couple times before. People always rave about it but I always have an average experience. I came here for dinner on Mother's Day Sunday and the place was pretty sparse. Despite it being super dead, our server (who my mom pointed out has worked here for forever) was acting like he had 50 tables. It took forever to get him to come over and order anything from him, he was a mess. Other than the terrible service, the food was pretty good. Nothing to run home about but it wasn't bad. Everything was hot and came out relatively quickly and was made correctly. There was some sand in my clams, but I feel like that happens often when eating shellfish so I won't hold it against them. Local eatery with abundant seating indoors and out. There's also a long bar that accommodates seating inside and out, where many congregate after work or for Sunday brunch. When dining indoors, contending with the music and chattering from surrounding tables could present an issue, but other than that, inside is a good option. Service is congenial and efficient. As far as the menu, it offers a variety of American cuisine including sandwiches, burgers, seafood, pizza, shareable plates and more. The service was great. The food came fast to my surprise. It's a big place. Great for office gatherings if you needed a great location. Outside seating and the staff were attentive. We had a great time and enjoyed our food. It was a nice walk from my place and I was able to walk away those calories. Nice, local bar with a few tv's to watch sports. We came here since we can walk on over and it was like 50 degrees. They have some outdoor seating with heaters, but it was still too cold for us. Up first, $16 Fire Roasted Wings. I got them garlic parmesan style. I liked the wings, not the best ever, but certainly well above average. You get 8 wings. I had a $22 French Dip as my main course. Saw this amazing art sculpture from the road and decided to check it out. Here is some information regarding it - The owner of The Foundry Grieco had known of Furnari's work for 10 years, and has been wanting a "Lunch" sculpture since day one of The Foundry. Now, Furnari has brought The Foundry a massive sculpture of a famous black-and-white photograph taken on Sept. 20, 1932. The image shows 11 ironworkers perched high above the bustling streets of New York City having a lunch break atop a steel beam on the 69th floor of the Rockefeller Center. The men sit casually, legs dangling into the void. Above them, the skeletal frame of the skyscraper rises, a testament to human ambition and ingenuity. Furnari is known for his sculptures that depict regular, hard-working people throughout history. Transporting his "Lunch" sculpture, he drove a truck 1,200 miles from New York to Pompano Beach. "It weighs a couple thousand pounds, no problem," said Furnari. "Passion and love is what really drove it, and it's currently on top of a truck because it shows that we're all free to move. Some friends and I were looking for a good lunch spot in the area and this place came to mind as I've heard some good things about it, so we decided to give it a try this past Sunday. The restaurant is in a great location, very clean and just a really good vibe. When we sat and started looking over the menu we were a little confused as when we were driving we checked out the website for the menu, but things were not the same once getting there. We asked the staff if there was another menu and they told us they couldn't give it to us until 3pm and unfortunately what we wanted to order wasn't actually available at the time we went, but that was never specified on the website. Nonetheless, we ordered our food, our wing appetizer came out, but we still hadn't received any silverware or napkins since we were seated so we had to ask for that. Wings were very good. When our main dishes came out everything looked very good. Once we started to eat, there was an agreeance that the brussel sprouts were lacking flavor aside from the glaze, but were very bland. The pesto chicken sandwich was also very underwhelming. I think with the confusion of the menu and the food, I was a little let down. I'm not sure if this was just an issue of getting the wrong things, but I would give this place another shot, maybe at a different time of day. This time it just didn't do it for me. read more

Industrial / steel foundry decor works well without being cartoonish or becoming the center of attention. Friendly and helpful staff were only too happy to take care of special orders. extra plates, and whatever else we needed. Cocktails were tasty, strong, and well priced. Spinach Dip Appetizer was yummy and came with freshly cooked pita that was somehow simultaneously puffy, crispy, and chewy. So good. Our party had a goat cheese salad, crispy mahi sandwich, and the sushi stack, and each of us was super pleased with our choices. No one had room for dessert so we left, full and happy. This restaurant is located in a plaza with paid parking via the Pay by Phone app. We sat outside on a busy Saturday night for dinner. Be warned it is located right next to a cigar bar so you have to be okay with smelling cigars if you choose to sit outside! The hostess was nice enough to give us this heads up as well. We started with a Grapefruit Basil Collins (too sweet for my taste) and a Hold My Beer lager. The lager was somewhat flat and odd-enough tasting to return. Went with an old fashioned instead of the beer which was also not great. We split a warm goat cheese salad as an appetizer. This salad was delicious! And the server was thoughtful enough to bring us the salad already split amongst plates knowing we were sharing it. Our group's original destination was Houston's; but we were turned away. Fortunately, The Foundry was right across the street and accommodated us. I ordered a strawberry mojito that was presented nicely and packed a punch. The Bourbon BBQ Burger was very good as well. I requested medium well; but well-done (temperature it was served) is actually my usual. I took home half the large burger and fries. Others in the group enjoyed Margherita pizzas, Blackened Mahi Sandwich, steak sandwich, multiple glasses of Reisling wine and soft drinks. The hostess promptly greeted and escorted me to the table where my group was seated. Wait service was adequate, non-rushed, MIA at times, but that actually allowed time to catch up with acquaintances I'd not seen in many years. Another waiter happily served as photographer for our group. The prices are appropriate for the quality and quantity of the meal and service received. We are now intrigued! We pull in and see that it's a restaurant. And those men are statues of foundry workers from the early 1800's. How cool! Inside the place is huge! After driving from Sarasota to Pompano beach, my husband & I decided to do takeout for our dinner. My husband ordered a spicy sausage & chili pizza he just Loved! He has not ever seen this type of sausage on other pizzas. I ordered a salad with almond, cranberry & orange mandarin with a fried goat cheese patty that was wonderful. When we went to pick up the order which gave us a 30 minute window upon ordering, I went inside to pickup. They were very friendly & checked on the order & were told they were just bagging it up. While inside it was decorated beautifully with a large bar area & plenty of seating tables & booth areas.
