Monkeys revenge and Sixty Six
Linda L.

Beautiful environment with delicious drinks and recently added a lot more food items to the menu. The vibe is chic and luxurious. The servers are friendly and efficient. There's high top tables in the center and fluffy cushioned seats around the outside that rotates. You barely feel the rotation, it does a full circle in 66 minutes. I tried the Monkeys Revenge and it was light on the banana taste but has a strong coffee taste because of the cold brew. It comes in an adorable Goku cup. The Sixty Six is also delightful. Very fruity and bubbly, perfect to sip on. Love that it came with an ice ball to chill but not dilute it. The tuna tataki was refreshing. The pani puri had great Indian flavors and full of mushrooms. The dates wrapped with bacon is my favorite. Great place for a night out.

Just the view alone is worth visiting the pier top! Get yourself a nice cocktail, relax outside and enjoy the panoramic views! You can see the whole city of Ft. Lauderdale! The drinks are pricey but you can expect this from fancy establishment. They have a dj with good beats going and its just a fun experience! There is a dress code to come here so make sure to read up on it before going. I recommend for a great view and vibes!

Continuing our staycation, my ladyfriend and I stopped at Pier 66 from our WaterTaxi ride to check out the remodeled, spinning roof rooftop restaurant. Four stars is not necessarily a bad thing, however, all we had were some drinks. The view itself, from the Atlantic Ocean to West Broward and her favorite resort which I won't name lol), is 5 star amazing! The ambience, the entrance of the resort itself is very nice and classy. Although they have a DJ turntable, there was no live music playing when we went in the afternoon other than jazzy beats. She enjoyed her usual Pinot Grigio and I had a Mojito. I suppose it could've been even sweeter though I did like that. It was prepared fresh with mint leaves and all. We did see outer floor move, the only part that spins is the edges of the bar. Therefore, I'm keeping this one in the placeholder column until we can come again and have a full experience.

Amazing re-do of an iconic location! The image to the past meets modern drinks, staff and LUX! The drinks and the food are not to be missed. Only open certain times. Think ahead!

If you are looking for a spectacular view of Ft. Lauderdale, the ocean and a beautiful sunset, HEAD HERE! 1st off, I can't say enough about the views, they are stunning! It makes you appreciate what the people who live here Love. We came here before dinner at Caruso (which was awesome as well). They serve a full bar and lite bites which we did not indulge in. It has a rotating area, which is really cool. If you are seated, your table will rotate throughout the meal of the city, ocean. Everything is nicely decorated, well done, chic. Our bartender was very attentive and friendly, how couldn't you be working with these views. I highly recommend even if for 1 drink a stop here, you won't be disappointed. WHATCHA GOT!

There's not a ton to say about Pier Top, which is the rooftop bar at Pier 66, besides the fact that it's gorgeous. The views of the city are on another level. It's the kind of spot you hit for a special night out and a round of drinks. The drinks are overpriced, but the vibe makes it worth grabbing a cocktail and taking it all in.

Saturday night. Music is bumping- good mix. Drinks-a-plenty. Slow moving floor allows for view change. Only thing that i do not like... is that, it's hot like I've been dancing, this is more loung-ie-dance type, with a nice terraza.. patio if u will. That said.. it's nice if u havn't tried it.

Stopped by on a Saturday around 6 PM for some pre-dinner snacks and drinks, and it did not disappoint! The 360 views were just the cherry on top of a great experience. We tried the pizza chips and the floating tuna tartare - both were fantastic. That side of ranch with the pesto drizzle? Chef's kiss ‍ For drinks, we went with the Manhattan and Tears of a Mermaid - both were on point. Perfect spot for light bites, great cocktails, and stunning views. 10/10 recommend!

The first time I was here, I was 8. Dad took the family to Florida for business. I had a Shirley Temple drink, sat with my family on the rotating area and took it all lin! Fast forward to me as a grown-up, living locally, and attending parties at the Pier Top. Then it was shutdown for a major renovation revealing a fresh look this summer with that classic mid century vibe that Fort Lauderdale is known for. Tufted velvet chairs and brass accents. It still rotates! There's also an observation deck outside with unmatched views of the city and the beach. On this visit (Sept 2025), we went on a Sunday around 3:30pm (they opened at 3) so it wasn't too busy. We did not have reservations but really only wanted to grab a drink and enjoy the view (I was playing tour guide with my guest). If you want to eat, and especially if there's several in your party, I would recommend reservations. They do have a menu for food, but note it is just tapas/apps, not for a full meal. The bar is incredible and service was top notch. Seasoned bartenders. We ordered and old fashioned and an espresso martini. Tips if you go- you can rideshare or valet, but if you want to self park, there's a city lot under the bridge (3-4 minute walk to the door of the hotel). It's called the E Clay Shaw parking lot. Enter Pier 66 from 17th Street and take the road closest to the bridge and you'll see the lot. You can use paybyphone and it was about $4 for an hour. If you're up for a stroll before or after you go up to the Top, take a walk along the marina. When you get to the hotel, walk through until you see the sign for Pier Top and you will be escorted to the dedicated elevator. The beauty awaits!

Well the reasons for a 4 stars ... I heard so much hype about this spot that I guess I was expecting more! The lounge is located on the 17th floor of 17th floor of Pier Sixty -six. The attendant will call up the elevator and send you to the 17th floor. I heard by other guest that dress code is kinda strictly enforced. No shorts. Sadly we did not get the full effects of the 360 view. Website says reservations are suggested but I do recommend if you want the revolving view to make reservations. We had to sit at the bar. The waitress was super nice . I ordered my usual Pinot Grigio and gentleman friend a mojito! You can get views from every angle. City view. Water view and you can see as far the infamous Guitar building! We only ordered drinks since we ate prior to. They did offer some small bites that sounded appetizing. They accept payment via Apple Pay. We went on a Sunday afternoon at night it was beautiful! Oh you can get there by the Fort Lauderdale water taxi! That's how we travel. That's one of the water taxi stops. The place was very pretty and elegant! I would possibly go again maybe at night and definitely with reservations!

Recently enjoyed a lovely date night with my husband at the Pier Top. I have been enjoying this fabulous rooftop lounge for over 20 years and can definitely see the enhanced atmosphere with the recent renovations. I have also sponsored a conference for NSU at the property pre-renovations. The highlight of my evening was the "Smoke & Mirrors" cocktail! 5 stars absolutely delicious! I also tried "She's A Wild One" which was ok We ordered several food items; - raw oysters (very small in size) - lobster roll (slim serving of lobster for the bread - Beef Tartare (very fresh) - Pizza Chips (very nicely flavored, Chef should consider guacamole as opposed to ranch dressing) - Caviar Cones (micro/teeny tiny dessert needs to be slightly bigger) Overall, the vibes and energy was great especially if you love rooftop lounges that rotate while overlooking the beautiful intercoastal of Fort Lauderdale. I look forward to returning and ppl.

Super cool spot with an amazing vibe and absolutely beautiful views of the city and water. It's the perfect place to grab a drink, relax, and enjoy the sunset or night lights definitely has that wow factor when it comes to atmosphere. Also the room spins while you're in there. The service was amazing as well. Only downside is the food menu is really limited, so don't come hungry. But if you're just looking for a chill place with great drinks and a killer view, this place is a solid choice.

Jonathan M.

Our evening began at the perfect time of 6:30 pm, allowing us to enjoy the stunning sunset views before transitioning into the vibrant night scene. The ambiance was truly exceptional, as captured in our photos and videos. Our waitress, Aixa, provided outstanding service, making the experience even more enjoyable. The drinks were both delicious and creatively crafted, offering a wide variety of options to explore. Paired with the appetizers, the drinks made for a delightful culinary experience. We had an excellent time and are already looking forward to our next visit. If you find yourself in the Ft. Lauderdale area, this spot is a must-visit. Plus, the valet service is quite affordable compared to Miami and downtown Ft. Lauderdale, and we comfortably spent around five hours here and at another establishment at Pier Sixty-Six.

I've been flying out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport since I was a kid, so I know it well--and it still holds up. I've been through plenty of airports across Florida, and I'll say it straight: Fort Lauderdale and Miami International Airport consistently have some of the BEST flight prices. If you're trying to travel without getting financially humbled, this is where you want to be. Period. Now that I've moved further up the coast, I regret it every single time I search for flights and see the price difference. It's painful. Like...why did I do this to myself? And let's be honest--Florida's gotten a lot more crowded lately, and not exactly in a charming way. But if you can deal with that and just focus on getting a solid deal, this airport is absolutely clutch. And if you're flying international, Miami is close enough to keep your options wide open without too much extra effort. Bottom line: cheaper flights, easy layout, and still one of the best airports in South Florida to fly out of. If saving money matters to you, it's worth the drive. The only downfall is they keep raising the prices for the parking garage. It is ridiculous and I'm thankful I have a girlfriend near by where I can leave my car.

Once we got off the elevator we were impressed with the beautiful aesthetics and the entire space overall. I can't leave this review without letting y'all know they have happy hour during the weekend! Yes, that means you can experience some of the regular menu items at basically half the price! With that being said of course we had to try the "Caviar Bump" that comes with a shot of tequila (Blanco or reposado) and Close to Midnight. With shots and drinks we were definitely ready for some good eats. I went with the Crispy Whole Snapper with an Ají Amarillo Aioli and Peruvian Salsa Criolla and my friend had the Mediterranean Branzino with Artichokes, Salsa Verde, and Romesco Sauce. For sides we shared the Pomme Puree (whipped mashed potatoes) and broccolini. Honestly, this may be the first time in a very long time where I have zero critiques/no complaints (10's across the board)! I hate that I can't remember our servers name but she was so nice and took her time to answer any and all the questions that we had. We opted to sit outside, since it is waterfront and even though it was a hot summer day, it was surprisingly manageable since our covered table made all the difference while we enjoyed the stunning waterfront views. We kicked things off with cocktails, and some wine and the Sun Kissed Cocktail was an excellent choice. Not only was it delicious and refreshing, but the presentation was absolutely stunning . a real rose embedded inside an ice cube. It was almost too beautiful to drink... almost. For appetizers, we went with the Tropical Ceviche and the Tuna Tacos, and both were incredible. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I loved the mango touch that both dishes shared as it added the perfect tropical sweetness. Then came the entrees, we shared the Shoyu Glazed Sea Bass served with a rice pilaf, edamame purée, bok choy, and shiitake mushrooms, this fish was literally melt-in-your-mouth perfection. We also shared the Lobster Diavolo Pasta which was equally impressive and packed with generous chunks of lobster throughout the pasta, plus a whole small lobster to crack into. And then there were the side of Brussels Sprouts ... honestly, I never thought I'd be raving about a side dish, but here we are. Served shredded rather than whole, and tossed in the most incredible sauce, these were hands down some of the best Brussels sprouts I have ever had in my life. A must-order. Boatyard exceeded every expectation. The food, the atmosphere, the presentation .. all top tier. My cousin picked a winner, and we'll absolutely be back!

Our server (Daniel? I loved the artichoke appetizer - unique way of serving them and the cream sauce was delicious. I ordered the full snapper it was so good, perfectly golden crispy on the outside and tender meat on the inside. I would have loved the option to pair it with something besides rice but the dill rice itself was really good. Mostly the sides are à la carte. The bolognese was also delicious, as was the swordfish. The bread is also sweet and delicious, used to be free, now it's $8 for a tiny loaf. Overpriced for some bread. The full snapper was $59, most entrees are 40-50. I guess you also pay for the setting and view. Good experience overall, this was my second time at boatyard and I'm sure I'll be back again.
