Had a nice breakfast buffet at the olive &Sea. Fiel was attentive and got very well done bacon for my spouse. For a hotel restaurant it had a very well stocked buffet. We ate supper at the restaurant on Sunday night. Kera was attentive and friendly. The food was good and delicious. It was a fusion of Mediterranean and Greek style. For a hotel restaurant was not too bad. read more

Highly recommend this restaurant. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The food is fabulous; the hostess and the wait staff are top-notch. Leezy and Charlotte were awesome. We shared and started with the short rib pizza appetizer / pita, Branzino fish, sweet potato fries and baklava with ice cream for dessert. Every course was absolutely phenomenal. Please make this a stop on your visit to Fort Lauderdale. You will thoroughly enjoy. read more

Lovely place to eat breakfast overlooking the mari. Breakfast is beautifully spread in different areas of the large room. The overnight chia oats were simply done and delish! The best part of breakfast was my server Alex B. He was beyond attentive and polite. I told him the coffee was not very good and he offered to make me a new one. When I kept declining, he made me an Americano! He loves his job and it truly shows. 10 stars for Al read more

Nice restaurant for Mediterranean food with a lovely view of the water on the balcony or a nice, modern decor inside. Bar was lively. Located in the Hilton Ft Lauderdale Marina. We greatly enjoyed the Trio appetizer with Baba ganoush, tzatiki, and hummus and soft, warm pitas. I was pretty full after sharing it with my husband. I also got the the Falafel but I found it over-fried, crunchy and dry. I asked the waiter if it is supposed to be that way, and he said yes - so be warned. My husband got the half a chicken which he really likes - moist and flavorful. It has mashed potatoes. Drinks are $17 and strong, good. Happy Hour is 3 - 6 pm. dinner 5 - 10 pm Sun - Thursday, 5 - 100 pm Fri - Saturday. Breakfast 7 - 11 am daily - $33 for the buffet, kids $20. continental $20 It wasn't full when we arrived around 5:30 pm with reservations but later got packed, so make reservations! read more

Hubby & I enjoyed breakfast @ Olive & Sea! We had a VERY attentive & amazing server Fiel.

Adriana was great, very attentive and welcoming. Food was amazing, the beef skewers and salmon were standouts as well as the pita bread. The vibes are very cute with greenery and music was upbeat but not too loud. read more

We were here on a Friday night. We had reservations and table was available immediately. They gave us the option of inside or outside seating, as the nights are now cool, we opted for outside. They had a company Christmas party that same night and half the exterior area was reserved for that, and it seems the service too, as drinks and food took longer that expected to come out. Our server (I wish I remember her name) was excellent. She kept apologizing for the wait and checking on us when she could. We had made the reservation with the note of a birthday celebration but, she also noticed us talking about my wedding and acknowledge that celebration. Since the drinks were taking long to come out, we ordered appetizers right away, to try and get those faster. A spread/ dip trio with tzatziki, hummus and olives, which came with assorted breads. The crispy pita salad and the tuna crudo. All were delicious but my favorite was the crudo, could have ordered a second one. For the entrees we had mixed reviews, two of them ordered the short rib pasta and liked it but, my friend who ordered the skewer wasn't impressed, and the half chicken was good but can't say amazing. The breast was dry. But they redeemed themselves again with dessert. The baklava was too sweet for my taste, but the chocolate cake is a must try. I need to mention again our server, because she gets 5 stars, but based on the overall experience have to give Olive and Sea 4 stars. Oh, and Mathew, from valet, also gets 5 stars. He was super nice, even when we went past the close time for the parking. read more

Olive and Sea in was an easy five star experience. We were originally near the hotel and saw that parking was $40 but thankfully the restaurant was to side, closer to the water. Parking was valet only but complimentary. Wr didn't asked to sit outside with the water views but they sat us at a beautiful table. Vibes were great 10/10. We ordered all gluten free dishes including the broccolini, sweet potatoes and hummus, tuna crudo with gluten free naan, skewers (pork belly) and everything was absolutely delicious. The quality and flavors were amazing across the board. Our server was also incredibly accommodating and even helped arrange a gluten free fruit bowl dessert for us. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service every time. read more

This indoor and outdoor restaurant is beautifully located next to a big canal and tons of yacht parking. It's warm and welcoming. The service was very good. Cocktails here were exceptional and we also loved their appetizers like the fresh pita bread n hummus or fried artichoke. The burrata fig salad with hangar steak is fabulous. Their pizzas were big and filling. The chicken skewers were tasty. This is a good Mediterranean fusion restaurant. read more

5 stars for excellent service! The young woman at the reception was very polite and accommodated all our requests when booking the table, and the waiter's service was also wonderful! As for the food, I can't say it was excellent--the beef skewers, for instance, were slightly overcooked--but the beef pasta, on the other hand, was wonderful. read more

Our server Kerv was great. He was attentive and checked in on us frequently. Falafel was crispy but flavor was mid. Beef tenderloin was a bit tough but tasty with the sauces. Tuna crudo was good but nothing amazing. Octopus and hallumi were the absolute winners! read more

Came bc I always drive by on the boat and it look like great views. Valet is complementary. Turns out it's inside a hotel. I was a little surprised when I walked in as they were not busy at all during spring break. There were maybe one or 2 two tables taken, no one was outside on the balcony, and the bar was slightly busy. We ordered the hummus, it was runny. The fries were OK. Drinks were fine. Place prob needs upgrading bc it's a decent location. read more

Went here for a late lunch/ early dinner. However only happy hour was available. We ordered a few items and cocktails. Limited happy hours for me, but the small plates were yummy. The chef was tasked with making a surprise for me and I was pleasantly impressed with his creation. The overall aesthetics were lovely. I enjoyed the open and large wall windows. It was too hot and humid to sit outside, but I would like to return to experience it. The staff were attentive and friendly. I enjoyed my experience here. read more

As someone who spends a lot of time at hotels, I rarely like to eat at the hotel restaurants as they're often boring and overpriced. But when I heard there was a middle eastern spot at this Hilton, I was intrigued and had to stop by. And safe to say I was impressed. The food was fantastic, offering lots of interesting middle eastern fusion options. The mezze options, particularly the hummus and baba ganoush, are an absolute must. The breads that include the mezze are very intricate and tasty too. For the main, I got the half chicken with sweet potato fries. Very tasty and filling! And finally, the baklava was one of the better ones I've had in the states. The service was yet another cherry on top. Katrina was a wonderful server who gave me lots of great recommendations. Katrina and the rest of the staff were very attentive and kind, and I think they they represent the restaurant very well. Altogether, worth stopping by here if you're staying at the Hilton or nearby. It's not your typical hotel restaurant by any means. read more

Came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. The location and the view are beautiful. We parked in the lot across the street and paid for parking but then later saw they do have free valet in the front. It seemed they don't already have tables outside set up so we had to wait a little bit for them to set up the outside table for us. The hostess was not the friendliest. Our server was great. However, the restaurant really needs to get it together. Several items we attempted to order from the menu were not available. When ordering a bottle of wine, none of the white wine on the menu was available. The food we ordered was very good. We got the goat cheese and date pizza, chicken skewer, and the three dip appetizer with bread and pita. We had hummus, warm feta, and tzatziki. Overall, not sure I would try it again. read more

To my fellow man named Justin, thank you for the amazing experience this past Sunday, August second. I know I arrived 5 minutes before opening due to a meeting at the convention center, so thank you for accommodating me and getting me on the road! To think I could have a full luxury breakfast with a fresh crafted omelet within 20 minutes time was a long shot but you guys really pulled it off. I Was going to give 4 stars as you were out of the cold pressed grapefruit juice I had with a cocktail the previous evening but Justin was able to find some. Thanks J! read more

Fort Lauderdale (Hilton Hotel @ the Marina) I can't speak to their food other than the dessert, which was rich & yummy. We came in for a couple of drinks and to sit at the bar to watch it rain. We are staying here at the hotel and decided to check out the area. Our bartender was a sweetheart. We got there at happy hour and had a couple of old-fashioneds. Those were delicious. I am writing this to express my deep disappointment with the service--or lack thereof--we received at Olive & Sea. While the setting is lovely, our experience was marred by a complete lack of accommodation and awareness regarding service animal regulations. Despite being a party that included a pregnant woman, a toddler, and a teenager, we were asked to stand up and leave after already being seated at an outdoor table. Our service dog is fully trained and was behaving perfectly, yet we were told that the restaurant's "policy" does not allow dogs. There are a few reasons why this was particularly distressing: * Lack of Communication: There was no signage or policy posted at the entrance regarding animals. * Physical Strain: Making a pregnant woman and young children vacate a table and leave the premises after settling in is, at best, insensitive. * Legal Compliance: Under the ADA, service animals are not "pets" and should be accommodated, especially in outdoor seating areas. We were looking forward to a nice family meal, but instead, we were met with an inflexible policy that felt discriminatory. I hope management takes the time to train their staff on ADA guidelines and hospitality basics so that no other family especially those with young children or health considerations has to experience this. read more

Your happy hour oasis by the marina! Came to Olive & Sea while staying at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina. Ordered the Smoked Salmon & Braised Short Rib happy hour pizzas which were both delicious. I'd highly recommend them. Also a delicious Espresso Martini with Reposado was made by Juan which was one of the best versions I've had in awhile. Both delicious. The views of the marina are bar none and there is more than ample seating. Located at the Hilton Marina I wonder how many truly know about this gem. I would highly recommend! read more

Taking time away from the event for a nice dinner can be difficult. Busy all day from before the sun comes up till after the sun sets. Normally, most would simply head back to the hotel and flop in bed. However, once the event is over, you really don't care how tired you are or how sticky you may be from the humidity. A nice dinner is your reward for making it thru the week still walking and breathing. The treat, Olive & Sea! They are located in the Hilton hotel along the waterfront on the second level and have a private entrance and valet available. We started with the Crispy Pita Salad. Amazing! It has a light dressing that perfectly dresses the greens. The pita chips offer a great crunchy contrast to any bite. Julie enjoyed the faroe island salmon that was served on a bed of orzo. I tried the half roasted chicken. Each was prepared perfectly and seasoned to perfection. The chicken melted off the bone yet each bite was tender and moist. After sunset, the views are spectacular with shimmering lights from across the water shining down. We were disappointed that an automatic 20% service fee is applied to every check. Sadly, the service on a second visit didn't match that fee. A great spot for a nice night out. Keep on Yelp'n! read more

My husband and I had the breakfast buffet. The food was really good. Our server, Fiel, was attentive and nice.

We came to Olive & Sea for dinner while my friend was in town. The view is absolutely beautiful and definitely the highlight of the experience -- perfect waterfront setting and great ambiance. The food was okay, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. Unfortunately, the service really fell short. Despite there being plenty of open tables, our waiter kept rushing us through the meal for no clear reason, which took away from what should've been a relaxed dinner catching up with a friend. Overall, it's a nice spot for the scenery, but between the average food and rushed service, it didn't quite live up to expectations. A solid 3-star experience. read more

Food: 9/10, everything we had was absolutely delicious. The menu is compact but covers everything from fish, steak, to vegetarian dishes. GET THE CRISPY PITA SALAD (big enough to share too) Ambiance: 8/10, very pretty and appropriately lit. Great for family, date night, even solo night out. Service: 9/10, it's not a big restaurant, so book a reservation. Since it's not big the staff is not grand but there's an efficient team of hostess, your waiter/waitress and food runners. read more
