KERN!!!! Our server, our food guide, our man of kindness, patience, helpful suggestions and attention. This is such a wonderful server! He took great care of us! Ask for him when you go. The ambience.... We had a clear view of the intracoastal. Olive & Sea is on the rooftop of a Hilton in Ft. Lauderdale. The view was great but it was too hot to sit outside last Saturday night. Food... Mediterranean, flavorful, large portions and delicious. The tuna crudo and the chick pea falafel were awesome, so very good, the sauce with the crudo was fabulous. We also had the crispy pita salad, the Village Table, with the most delicious sides of charred broccolini, spiced butternut squash and za'tar fries! Great meal, lots of flavorful and tasty food! Kern did not miss when he suggested the sides. Sorry no pics of the food because we were a greedy bunch! We dug in and then thought oh we should have taken pictures!! Anyway, go, ask for Kern, choose what we chose all or some because I know you will love your choices! Enjoy!!

My daughter celebrated her nursing school graduation here with her friends & they had such an amazing experience! The service was outstanding the staff truly went above and beyond to make the night special. The food was delicious & the view was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

Nice restaurant for Mediterranean food with a lovely view of the water on the balcony or a nice, modern decor inside. Bar was lively. Located in the Hilton Ft Lauderdale Marina. We greatly enjoyed the Trio appetizer with Baba ganoush, tzatiki, and hummus and soft, warm pitas. I was pretty full after sharing it with my husband. I also got the the Falafel but I found it over-fried, crunchy and dry. I asked the waiter if it is supposed to be that way, and he said yes - so be warned. My husband got the half a chicken which he really likes - moist and flavorful. It has mashed potatoes. Drinks are $17 and strong, good. Happy Hour is 3 - 6 pm. dinner 5 - 10 pm Sun - Thursday, 5 - 100 pm Fri - Saturday. Breakfast 7 - 11 am daily - $33 for the buffet, kids $20. continental $20 It wasn't full when we arrived around 5:30 pm with reservations but later got packed, so make reservations!

Came bc I always drive by on the boat and it look like great views. Valet is complementary. Turns out it's inside a hotel. I was a little surprised when I walked in as they were not busy at all during spring break. There were maybe one or 2 two tables taken, no one was outside on the balcony, and the bar was slightly busy. We ordered the hummus, it was runny. The fries were OK. Drinks were fine. Place prob needs upgrading bc it's a decent location.

First time here and the location was so nice outside overlooking the waterway. Katrina was our waitress and couldn't be more friendly and informative. She gave great suggestions for our trio and the food was very good.

This indoor and outdoor restaurant is beautifully located next to a big canal and tons of yacht parking. It's warm and welcoming. The service was very good. Cocktails here were exceptional and we also loved their appetizers like the fresh pita bread n hummus or fried artichoke. The burrata fig salad with hangar steak is fabulous. Their pizzas were big and filling. The chicken skewers were tasty. This is a good Mediterranean fusion restaurant.

I am writing this to express my deep disappointment with the service--or lack thereof--we received at Olive & Sea. While the setting is lovely, our experience was marred by a complete lack of accommodation and awareness regarding service animal regulations. Despite being a party that included a pregnant woman, a toddler, and a teenager, we were asked to stand up and leave after already being seated at an outdoor table. Our service dog is fully trained and was behaving perfectly, yet we were told that the restaurant's "policy" does not allow dogs. There are a few reasons why this was particularly distressing: * Lack of Communication: There was no signage or policy posted at the entrance regarding animals. * Physical Strain: Making a pregnant woman and young children vacate a table and leave the premises after settling in is, at best, insensitive. * Legal Compliance: Under the ADA, service animals are not "pets" and should be accommodated, especially in outdoor seating areas. We were looking forward to a nice family meal, but instead, we were met with an inflexible policy that felt discriminatory. I hope management takes the time to train their staff on ADA guidelines and hospitality basics so that no other family especially those with young children or health considerations has to experience this.

Your happy hour oasis by the marina! Came to Olive & Sea while staying at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina. Ordered the Smoked Salmon & Braised Short Rib happy hour pizzas which were both delicious. I'd highly recommend them. Also a delicious Espresso Martini with Reposado was made by Juan which was one of the best versions I've had in awhile. Both delicious. The views of the marina are bar none and there is more than ample seating. Located at the Hilton Marina I wonder how many truly know about this gem. I would highly recommend!

Fort Lauderdale (Hilton Hotel @ the Marina) I can't speak to their food other than the dessert, which was rich & yummy. We came in for a couple of drinks and to sit at the bar to watch it rain. We are staying here at the hotel and decided to check out the area. Our bartender was a sweetheart. We got there at happy hour and had a couple of old-fashioneds. Those were delicious. We tried the chocolate crunch cake and it was perfection!

We opted to sit outside, since it is waterfront and even though it was a hot summer day, it was surprisingly manageable since our covered table made all the difference while we enjoyed the stunning waterfront views. We kicked things off with cocktails, and some wine and the Sun Kissed Cocktail was an excellent choice. Not only was it delicious and refreshing, but the presentation was absolutely stunning . a real rose embedded inside an ice cube. It was almost too beautiful to drink... almost. For appetizers, we went with the Tropical Ceviche and the Tuna Tacos, and both were incredible. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I loved the mango touch that both dishes shared as it added the perfect tropical sweetness. Then came the entrees, we shared the Shoyu Glazed Sea Bass served with a rice pilaf, edamame purée, bok choy, and shiitake mushrooms, this fish was literally melt-in-your-mouth perfection. We also shared the Lobster Diavolo Pasta which was equally impressive and packed with generous chunks of lobster throughout the pasta, plus a whole small lobster to crack into. And then there were the side of Brussels Sprouts ... honestly, I never thought I'd be raving about a side dish, but here we are. Served shredded rather than whole, and tossed in the most incredible sauce, these were hands down some of the best Brussels sprouts I have ever had in my life. A must-order. Boatyard exceeded every expectation. The food, the atmosphere, the presentation .. all top tier. My cousin picked a winner, and we'll absolutely be back!

Our server (Daniel? Can't remember unfortunately) was great - he took photos of us when we asked, using our phone and our instax Polaroid which was so sweet, even pulled a sharpie out of his pocket so i could write the place and date on them. i love the way the staff work together as a team, one person might take your order, someone else delivers the food/checks in on you, etc. - we never had to wait long when we needed something. I loved the artichoke appetizer - unique way of serving them and the cream sauce was delicious. I ordered the full snapper it was so good, perfectly golden crispy on the outside and tender meat on the inside. I would have loved the option to pair it with something besides rice but the dill rice itself was really good. Mostly the sides are à la carte. The bolognese was also delicious, as was the swordfish. The bread is also sweet and delicious, used to be free, now it's $8 for a tiny loaf. Overpriced for some bread. The full snapper was $59, most entrees are 40-50. I guess you also pay for the setting and view. Good experience overall, this was my second time at boatyard and I'm sure I'll be back again.

Everything came out piping hot, quickly, and you can tell the food and drinks are really thoughtfully crafted. What stood out most, though, was the customer service. The three main staff members Drew, Mel, and Darian (I think?) were incredible. Every single one of them went above and beyond for every guest the entire time. When we arrived, there were just a couple tables outside, but once it started raining, they seamlessly accommodated everyone inside without missing a beat. The vibe is such a cool mix, neighborhood spot meets speakeasy meets tiki with a slightly elevated feel, but still super comfortable. Everyone in the place seemed to know each other or quickly became friends. The music was great, and by 7:30 the live entertainment started, he was funny, engaging, and talented. We got there just in time to catch the tail end of happy hour for our first drink, and from there it just kept getting better. Drew, the bartender, even went out of his way to make me a specialty drink I had seen on Yelp that's no longer on the menu, such a thoughtful touch. By 7:30 on a Wednesday, the place was packed, which says everything. Exceptional service, amazing food, great drinks, and an all around fun, welcoming atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back.

To their credit, the staff handled it very professionally and took it back without any issue, which I appreciated. The rest of the table had a much better experience with their meals. The steak and salads especially got good reviews from everyone and looked very well prepared. Even though my dish missed the mark, the service and atmosphere were solid enough that I'd still consider giving eTwic another try in the future. Sometimes one item just doesn't hit, and there were definitely enough positives about the restaurant to make me curious to come back and try something different next time. It's very busy and loud there, though, if you are eating indoors at the bar like I was. The bartenders and barbacks are very busy. The restaurant is known for something called "Scoobies" which per Google Gemini are "crab claws (traditionally blue crab or snow crab) that have been partially de-shelled--leaving just the "pincher" as a handle--and sautéed in a rich sauce of garlic, butter, and olive oil with crushed red pepper and scallions." I didn't get the Scoobies because I was apprehensive about how difficult they would be to eat. My dishes were fried oysters, fish tacos, and coconut shrimp platter. They were all fine, but unremarkable. The platter comes with fries and cole slaw as listed, but when I said to the bartender that I didn't need cole slaw, just extra fries, he offered/clarified that I could substitute another side instead, so I went with broccoli. I did notice that there were many flies flying around when my shrimp platter came out. One of the other bartenders put out a plate of hot sauce to repel the flies, which helped. The place is famous and sells its own merchandise like shirts and hats. It is not located near other restaurants, and you'll have to walk fifteen minutes or get an Uber if you are discouraged by the waiting time. Mediterranean with feminine vintage decor...very unique and pretty:) Our server took our drink selections and I opted for just a Pepsi/Coke...can't remember which one they offer. There is free mini pitas and butter at the table which are absolutely delicious...soft, warm and melt in your mouth. I didn't order an appetizer since some of the others ordered apps and told me to share so I did try their falafels which were really good. For my entree I went with the cauliflower appetizer: Zesty Cauliflower - Dusted with our flour mix, fried, and topped with zesty tahini sauce and a side of french fries. The cauliflower was just OK - a bit soggy and didn't really seem like it was dusted and fried at all. Fries were also nothing major to write home about - they were fine in the world of fries. Since we were a party of 9, there was an 18% tip automatically added to each of our bills, which was totally fine, since I can imagine dealing with a large group can be a little bit of a pain. Overall I just felt like the restaurant is a bit overpriced. My soda, side of fries and cauliflower appetizer came out to exactly $40. I just didn't think it was a meal worth $40.
