The views were great! I didn't have the food or drinks because the service was a bit slow. The music was great as well definitely a good place to go and hang

I came on a Friday. This was a nice, casual spot with a beautiful view. It was located next to a Hilton. The sign to the restaurant was small. I say the hotel first. The property had valet parking. To both sides of this restaurant the city had pay the meter parking spots. It was a fun spot. They have some days that they have fun events going. They have a list by the elevator. The atmosphere was good and the crowd a good mixed. The menu was small. We ordered flatbread, street tacos and something else that looked like a big toast. Everything tasted great. Food service was fast. The flatbread was my favorite thing. I got a drink that was also good it was watermelon and jalapeños. The mix was tasty. The staff on point. They checked on us. They kept coming around. They were very friendly. The vive was fun and the music great.

Growing up in Fort Lauderdale, Pier 66 was always more than a restaurant -- it was a landmark. I grew up hearing stories about the fabulous rotating dining room with sweeping panoramic views of the city, so experiencing Pier Top 66 for my birthday felt like stepping into a piece of Fort Lauderdale history brought back to life. The room completes a full rotation every 66 minutes, powered by a motor with just two horsepower. The sheer feat of engineering is worth experiencing alone. As the room slowly turns, downtown glows in the distance, boats move through the waterways below, and the city lights seem to unfold around you. I actually love that Pier Top 66 has been reimagined as a luxury lounge. With 66 minutes to experience the full rotation and so many incredible dinner options in Fort Lauderdale, this is the perfect place to end your evening with cocktails, seafood and small bites. And the food absolutely delivered. I had a perfectly crisp dirty martini with blue cheese-stuffed olives and oysters served over ice with crème fraîche, chives, caviar and EDIBLE GOLD! The bao buns were pillowy, slightly spicy and generously portioned. The shrimp cocktail was incredible -- absolutely MASSIVE shrimp served beautifully chilled over ice. We finished with a dessert trio of mango cheesecake, macaron and opera cake. Martin at the bar was incredible. Warm, attentive and engaging, he elevated the entire experience. In a place where the view could easily be the star, Martin reminded us that exceptional hospitality is what makes an evening truly memorable. The only thing lacking was more time to take it all in. Pier Top 66 carries something you simply cannot manufacture: legacy. It is engineering, history, cocktails, seafood, hospitality and old Fort Lauderdale glamour wrapped into one 66-minute revolution above the city I call home. 10/10. If you don't enjoy this experience, I'm convinced you ordered the wrong things. Get the martini. Get the oysters. Get the seafood. Ask for Martin. Stay for the full rotation. And watch Fort Lauderdale sparkle beneath you.

The food was good nothing unique. The drinks where better and the views were beautiful. The weird thing we saw was the servers having to clean the glassware with paper towels before serving people their wine.

Beautiful views!!! Great drink menu and happy hour! Service was the slowest I've seen in a long time, prepare to wait and wait. Waitress never came back so we only ordered one round. We actually had to go up to the bar to close our tab.

The views and the vibes were so phenomenal! The Mahi tacos were too good absolutely loved the flavor and the pineapple salsa within. The grilled wings were also very flavorful and tasty. Also the waiters recommendation of the pineapple margarita was spot on!

Super nice ambiance with amazing views! went here with a party of 3 to enjoy the vibes and we did certainly that! We had a couple of drinks with the rooftop view and enjoyed a very tasty dessert aswell. Only thing I would have to say is about the service, it was a little slow. Next time I come I am exited to try the food and give it another chance!

Love this place. You can see the water from the rooftop the drinks were good and the service was better. Love the rooftop fire pit. I'd you want to overlook the beach this is the spot.

We still look fabulous.. :)))) especially around viejos.. smh

About last night! Hahaha... Latin night! After dinner we decided why not! We could hear the music from downstairs. We are both no longer all nighters or party goers especially with the type of careers we have. I was impressed. The last time I came to this rooftop bar was when it first opened and it was so dead! It was nice to see our Pompano Beach community enjoying the night to our Latin beats haha.... Curious what they have on other nights. Can't post on drinks because we both don't drink but I'm assuming delish because EVERYONE had a drink lolol... so another location to add to your list if you're ever in the area.... :)))

This one caught us off guard! We make it a point to try different places around pompano and had ever even heard of this place! On top of a hotel the view was great! Cynthia was our server and she was fast and friendly and gave us great tips. Between the three of us we ordered a flat bread pizza, shrimp cocktail, caprese appetizer, oysters and sliders. Food and drinks came out fast, hot and really good. We'll be back!

Fun, lovely little rooftop bar that I don't have to go all the way south to downtown Fort Lauderdale for, conveniently up in Pompano by the pier. Had absolutely excellent service this evening from a gentleman whose name I regrettably did not catch, but he made great conversation and was very attentive. Food was decently good, bit pricey but it's a rooftop bar so not unexpected and not a deterrent. Drinks were good as well, the key lime martini had all the lovely elements of a key lime pie. Charcuterie board definitely came with more volume than expected, a pleasant surprise. Nice spot, great views over the pier. Will need to come back to try lunch.

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. It was a weeknight so we didn't think it woukd be too busy. We didn't want to eat on the 1st floor because it was so dark...which to me is sometimes a sign tbe place doesn't want you to see the food. We chose to sit upstairs in open air area. Had to wait about 20 minutes for a booth which we requested as opposed to sitting at table. Ok...not a big deal. Waitress brought some water and couple menus then totally disappeared. Two other couples at different booths came after us and their orders were taken right away. Finally I got the attention of Waitress to order. Wife ordered fish sandwich and I ordered fish tacos (mahi mahi fresh catch) for both. Finally food arrives but the couples after us are already leaving. Wife asked for starter sauce, was told no problem, and some sort of sauce was brought but wasn't tarter. I asked male server passing (ours disappeared again) by if it was a mistake. He said no its similar to tarter sauce, their version.... whatever it was it didn't belong on fish. I started on my tacos which werr terribly bland. No flavor. No white sauce, not even lime. The rice and beans were OK. The pineapple salsa made with green pineapple (hard). I finally flagged the waitress down and said this was terrible food and terrible service and asked to speak to the manager. She admitted she completely forgot about us. Manager did come over to apologize and make up for the trouble but at that point our anniversary dinner was a bust. Nice view, but doesn't make up for food and service.

I'm glad to see this restaurant doing well in Old Town Pompano. Our server was very friendly and assisted us with our questions about the menu. As we were there for brunch, we settled on fried green tomatoes Eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, and shrimp and grits. The fresh biscuits sounded so good that we ordered them. We should have asked for them to come out early, so we could enjoy them while we were waiting. However, we took them home and enjoyed them the next day. We also made the mistake of ordering a side of potatoes. That was definitely not necessary because two of the entrées came with potatoes, and we had more than plenty for the table. Again, something we enjoyed the next day. We were all impressed with what we ordered. Everything came out hot and cooked just as we had asked. My shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious. I also thought it was also nice that our server asked if we wanted to take our refilled drinks to go and prepared to go cups for us. This restaurant has been consistent for us, and I definitely plan to be back. Next time, I'd like to check out their live music scene and get a table outside when the weather gets a little cooler.
