[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great open space, with lots of breeze and good music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even though it was busy, as it was 4th of July, my group of 5 were seated quickly. We were upset because we requested to sit by the water, and there were 2 tables available, they told us that we had to sit at a round table farther in, because there were 5 of us. So we accepted that, but 15 mins later they sat a GROUP OF 5 by the water!! Tried to ignore that and just enjoy lunch. The food took a while to come out, but it was a busy day so we expected that. I got The Cove burger, and it was cooked just right but lacked seasoning and taste. The calamari was just okay. We got chocolate cakes and my friend got the Key Lime pie - the desserts were delicious, and portions were large - had to get little to go boxes. Our waitress was wonderful, attentive, and super nice.

Came here after going to a local farmers market. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a hot day. Fans were going & there was a nice breeze off the water.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Got seated right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lovely views of the water on the intracoastal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server came quickly to take our drink orders & then we ordered steamed clams to start & share. I ordered Caesar salad with blackened salmon. Hubby had blackened Mahi- Mahi with pineapple salsa. All were delicious. Will definitely be back soon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ate at a booth. There were booths, high tops as well as long rectangular tables- all with pretty good water views.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The Cove delivered bright, fresh flavors in a spectacular waterfront setting! The Ahi Tuna Wonton Nachos were vibrant with sweet mango and scallions, and the ahi itself was excellent. The only miss was the wontons, which arrived a bit soggy -- next time I'd love them served on the side to keep that crisp bite. The Grilled Shrimp & Watermelon Salad tasted like pure summer. Perfectly charred shrimp, chilled watermelon, pickled onions, feta, and a tangy balsamic finish came together in a dish that was light, refreshing, and exactly what you want on a breezy day by the water. The Cove's 180‑degree waterfront view is unbeatable, and the renovation has made the space feel more contemporary, open, and inviting. Overall, the food matched the setting -- bright, flavorful, and supported by genuinely warm, attentive service. A great experience all around. Come see it for yourself!

Stopped here for a quick bite and drinks with the hubby and im so glad we did. [[HIGHLIGHT]]First, you can't beat the view and the breeze.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Second, my drink was delicious and perfectly crafted I asked for a drink not featured on the menu (prosecco, titos, mint, lime, and strawberry puree) and the bartender made it perfectly. Third, my tuna poke bowl was amazing the fish tasted so fresh and melted in my mouth I devoured it (as to why it's not pictured lol). Last, the service was great fast and friendly. Will be returning again.

Found this place on a whim and man am I so happy I did. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance, the food and the drinks are superb.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We met a friend that was in town from Texas and we had a blast, we only had a few appetizers and drinks but that was all we needed to entice us to return. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You have a spectacular waterfront view, live music and a great selection of seafood dishes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself has a cool decor and service was great, friendly staff and very accommodating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will definitely return and to enjoy other menu items, as well as drinks . It is a bit of a commute from Lake Worth but it is definitely worth it if you are seeking a nice seafood restaurant near the water.

We enjoyed a very nice lunch at the The Cove this week. I have been here before they remodeled a few years ago. This is a waterfront restaurant with outdoor dining and boat docking which is always very crowded. It is a great place to entertain out of town guests and friends alike in addition to a date night. We were seated right away and had our Virgin Mary's served quickly. A tall glass with all the trimmings including bacon!! We ordered Fish and chips and a wedge salad to share. It took a while for the food to come out but both dishes were very good...the fish (Haddock) was huge. I asked about the small portion of fries and our lovely server brought out a fresh bowl..no charge. That was very sweet of her. We found free parking in the lot and there is also Valet $7. We will return for another menu option as the burgers and tacos looked amazing too!

The best place to relax with great view of intercoastal for lunch or dinner. It is very busy with music ,not quiet with boats dropping off The seafood is always fresh and good size portions. Service is quick and pleasant without anyone rushing. Also the exec chief Ryan was pleasant and informative in reviewing menu items. They are always adding new items while keeping the favorites .... Forgot to mention the Best Conch fritters are a must have for sharing you get a healthy 6 portions.

We came on a stormy sunday night. It was busy, as expected. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The views of the waterway are great and make for ample people-watching.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very pleasantly surprised with the shrimp scampi and the key lime pie. However, the rest of my party was very disappointed with the chicken quesadillas and the fish tacos. There were also a few hiccups with service...we had to chase someone down for utensils, we didn't get our fries when our food came out, and our server gave us the wrong amount in cash for our change. Overall I would recommend this spot for the experience. Order something that is listed as a "locals favorite" on their menu and I think you'll be happy.

Aesthetic: Staple Intracoastal seafood restaurant in the heart of Deerfield Beach What to try: Thai Tuna Salad Service: Excellent Parking: Plenty, but it is now pay to park :( Rating: 5/5, I grew up eating here and the ambiance hasn't changed since I was young. We always enjoy the coconut shrimp, conch fritters, and Mahi sandwiches, but we tried the Thai Tuna Salad and it was delightful. I was bummed to learn the city took over the parking in the plaza, it sucks watching corporate greed ruin your hometown. We were lucky to be able to walk from my Moms house

    SOUR APPLE RUM & COKE
    Daren R.

The nautical themed restaurant is situated at the end of Hillsboro Blvd on the intracoastal. The tiki hut style dining area is massive and multi leveled divded only by a few wooden steps, while the cocktail bar overlooks a small fleet of luxury fishing boats. Live music every Saturday & Sunday 1p - 4p and Fridays until 9pm. The sun sets on the obstructed west side of the building and is visible from only one small portion of the back patio. Consumed a few cocktails at the bar while waiting for my entire party to arrive. The Apple Sour Rum & Coke was my own concoction and it was excellent. We had a large family function and sat in the main interior dining room. The server, Desi, was very attentive through the entire meal. The food arrived to the table without any glitches. My Cove Burger with the bacon was large and juicy. The Lobster Roll was tender & tasty and well stuffed but pricey. Great service, rare atmosphere, good food but overpriced. The parking lot was free with enough spaces to support the restaurant on a Sunday night. The wooden dock along the water is walkable although fishing is prohibited. The gender assigned bathroom was clean sporting two commercial style urinals with high traction black urinal mats and blue-green polished ceramic tile walls.

The Cove was extremely busy on the Sunday night I dined in, but the service team was on point and took great care of my party. We chose to sit outside so our dog companion could join, and the team brought him water and loved on him! The bar specializes in seafood and it showed in a great poke bowl and even better in a Thai ahi tuna noodle salad, which I recommend! Full bar service allowed for some fun signature cocktails, including the watermelon mojito I tried, which was refreshing and strong! Waterfront at sunset I'm sure would be absolutely stunning, but I loved the natural plant walls inside and the vibe was comfortable but trendy, and tied immensely to the history and culture of the area. Parking was free when I was there, but there are paid 2hr limit parking spaces right in front of the restaurant. There is also valet available if you prefer.

Clean. Really good atmosphere and venue. Fun place. Good seafood in a fun atmosphere. The conch fritters were pretty spectacular - easily the best thing we ordered and when we come back, we will be ordering them again. They even let us pick our seat which helped as we needed a booth to put down our sleeping toddler. The service was always with a smile and pretty quick to boot.

We sat outside, which is a nice open space with complete shading. Our server was very attentive even though it is a much longer walk back and forth. This was a quick session with 4 dozen raw oysters, Corona Light on tap, and great company. They have a huge menu that would take a long time to sample. I recommend asking the locals and staff to help narrow down your choices. I personally recommend all of the raw bar options and the peel and eat shrimp. With the peel and eat, go with the warm/spiced option. They get it right with the Old Bay embedding itself deep in the shell. Grab a friend and check this place out.

The ambiance is wonderfully old Florida eclectic--a little quirky, a little laid-back, and full of character. It has that relaxed coastal vibe that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your meal. It set the tone for a really enjoyable dining experience. For food, I had the blackened mahi mahi sandwich, which was fantastic. The fish was perfectly seasoned with a nice blackened crust, while still tender and flavorful inside. There is valet parking only, but if you get your parking ticket validated up to the first 2 hours are free. We came after their Easter buffet for their regular dinner menu. The restaurant was pretty empty except for two other tables. We both ordered the oysters from the appetizer section of the menu -- he had the half dozen raw bluepoints ($17.25). They came with cocktail sauce and horseradish. I don't remember seeing the crackers. Mine were roasted with "nudja" butter ($17.75). The six were tasty -- but except for one of mine, they were quite small. I didn't notice any spicy flavoring or much seasoning beside the butter. I think they meant "nduja" which is a spreadable pork salumi. I had to look this one up. The waiter said "salami" but for those that don't eat pork products, they should let people know it's made from pork. For our main meal, he had their wagyu burger ($22). It came with well done fries (I tasted the fries-- they were great). He said the burger was very good. It didn't look very big. It was supposed to come with a truffle aioli -- I didn't see this, unless it was on the bun already. I ordered their fish stew ($28.25). It had three shrimp, three cedar key small clams, and a piece of mahi in a spicy coconut based Thai curry sauce over white basmati rice. The dish was spicy enough to make my eyes water and my nose run. It was good, didn't taste like curry, and I would have preferred more shrimp and less fish. The little bit of string beans on the side which were supposed to be "long beans" (?) were awful. They tasted strange. Probably re-served from the earlier buffet. We were too full for dessert. And nothing really jumped out to have us spend another $7 to $9.... The ambiance is fine. We sat with a partial view of the pool area. The silverware has a fish motif on it. Napkins are a sea blue color. Our waiter, Curtis, was personable. The restaurant has been open since February (2019). Two months later, it still needs a little smoothing. They were out of the first wine my husband selected. We had to ask for small forks for our oysters. When we were seated by the hostess she told us our waiters name would be Tom. Little things just a bit off. But in general, there is potential here. If they could lower the prices a tad, they might get more local business. After all, this is Pompano Beach, not South Beach.

When we first walked into the restaurant I thought we were at a daycare picking up and dropping off children. There were so many kids in here screaming and hollering and so many parents staring straight ahead pretending like it's not happening. WTF? Marriott needs to take this restaurant sign down, they need to delete the menu online, and I need to put people on notice that there is no fresh fish or seafood at this location.
