It was a nice stop in at Twentytwenty yesterday; especially when were supposed to be at the gym... We were just off work when we had a few problems pop up. By the time we had then figured out, it was a little too late to go to the gym. So we switched to some nicer clothes and picked a wine spot we hadn't been to, TwentyTwenty Grill. We walked into the small establishment and immediately realized we probably needed a reservation. There were maybe 8 tables in the place(and some outside as well). But the maître d said he had a table for us. When we we said we were just there for a couple nice glasses of wine they were still ok with that. The small small was romantic in its quaintness, we did like that. Our waiter was kind to offer us to try a couple wines before deciding. I picked a sold cabernet, and my gal got a Pinot. Later I got a Malbec that was solid. I ate here years ago, and that was a nice experience. But to stop in a for a glass of wine was at least as good, and a better than the gym by a mile.

We really enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here! The ambiance was intimate, and the chef really provided a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend making a reservation!

The food was as exceptional as the service. A thoughtful waiter with a refreshing sense of humor. Small but busy ambiance. The food is nothing short of awesome.

You're going to get very good food and service here...that is doesn't change at this family run bistro in an "alleyway" in Royal Palm just south of Mizner. You may need to look for it, but that just means you won't be squeezed out of a table by walk by traffic. Be ready to make a reservation on weekends or high volume days.

Very quaint little restaurant with great service and food. My wife had crabcake and I had the Mahi. Both excellent.

What is the noise level inside?

It was minimal! The restaurant space is not that large, I wanna say there are 7-10 tables total inside

Does this restaurant still serve mole spiced creekstone prime skirt steak?

I remember I loved it back then but somehow have not found my way back until a few days ago, when some girlfriends noticed they have happy hour. I'm happy to say AlleyCat is just as good now as when I first went years ago! I was delighted by their happy hour menu; they have $7 bites and drinks. They offer a mix of classic and unique menu options, such as lychee martini, spritzes, ramen, nigiri, and sushi rolls. I tried a few options but really loved the yuzu spritz the most. I had the spicy tuna roll, which was simple but delicious! I forgot to take a picture until I was halfway done. The establishment is clean and lovely, elegant and simple. Our bartender was great, very friendly with nice banter. My friends ordered several things off the menu, including the chicken ramen and several sushi rolls, all of which we shared here and there. Everything was incredible and we will be coming back! This time before 5 years pass

Tori from Louisville welcomed us with a glass of sparkling Blanc de Blanc. The intimate, romantic, dimly lit restaurant was Paris-esq! We started with delicious whipped feta, mahi mahi & a chicken dumpling appetizer plate. Tom & Jenny, our chefs & owners shared their backgrounds & our menu. The scrumptious menu won me over before I walked through the intimate door. The signature lobster bisque was creamy & perfect as was the crispy mushroom soup. The peach asparagus salad in vinaigrette hit the spot. The ginger pineapple sorbet was a refreshing palette cleanser. Each main course were generous & delectable. It was a difficult choice between the fillet mignon, sea bass, seared duck breast in an orange brandy sauce, boneless short ribs or rack of lamb with a cherry kirsch glaze. Entrees came with mashed sweet or garlic potatoes & and melody of roasted mushrooms , brussel sprouts & carrots. Dessert was easier, the peanut butter torte & pistachio crème brûlée won us over. The wine list was enchanting, some of our faves were here! Even ice wine, port & chocolate wine from Amsterdam are available. We could have brought our own bottle for a corsage fee, but we have to drive home. Hard liquor cannot be brought into the restaurant. Twenty of us at six tables were close together. I overheard the group behind me talking about Machu Picchu & the described my upcoming trip. I joined in, they were friendly & informative. We splurged & ate scrumptious courses for three hours. Service was friendly, informative & impeccable.

The name "Boca Raton Wine and Food Festival" sure sounds good...like they would get some higher end restaurants there. I mean it's not the F'ing Catalina Wine Mixer, but... Not all were a disappointment, but most were. Now it did rain for about 10 minutes, but that's Florida and all part of the adventure. But this BRWFF was slated for 7 pm to 10 pm. The tickets were not cheap, but there were still vendors that simply left by 8:30 pm...I guess due to the 10 minute rain shower. There is a contest where we the customers vote on the best food/wine booth. Well the best in my opinion was the Lighthouse Point Yacht and Racquet Club (French Onion Soup dumplings) which is 1. A private Club that us commoners don't have access to AND 2. It's not even in Boca. Then to top it off, the winner was Santos Buffet....a buffet won people! I mean ZERO disrespect to Santo's, but Is that the BEST place the organizers could get for the BRWFF? I know that part falls partially on the voters, but still....the selection of restaurants and other vendors is pathetic for what you pay. I'll try again when/if Boca learns from other affluent cities exactly how to put on a real wine/food festival.
