I have been wanting to try 60 vines for a while. I recently attended a private baby shower event being hosted here in the Boca location, although there are other locations, including Fort Lauderdale. During the event, we sampled a couple of different items that were shared at each table, including some burger bites, and different pasta options. The pesto pasta was my favorite! The servers were really great and quick with any request from the guests. They have at least two private rooms at this location for private events off to the side from the main dining area. One has natural light with a lot of windows, which is where this baby shower was held. The other one is more closed off without natural lighting. Not sure the price point as I was just a guest, but everything was really beautiful and I believe there was about 20 to 25 guest in attendance for this private room. read more

We came here on a Friday night for the girl dinner special which includes a grilled chicken Caesar salad, French fries and either a wine flight or espresso martini. We arrived and had a reservation and still had to wait 15 mins for our table to be ready and we were only a group of 4 people and our waitress seemed a bit annoyed we all ordered the girl dinner special which is $35 each and kept trying to upsell us on more drinks and dessert or appetizers. The salad was ok and the French fries were a bit cold. The frozen espresso martini was the only highlight of the meal but nothing else was spectacular. I wish we would have gone somewhere else for dinner since nothing was great and pretty expensive for the price and the service was subpar. read more

Brunch Review Only: The brunch menu is very limited and tricked out. If you jut want a normal breakfast menu it is not available. Out of 5 different dishes there was consensus. Not enjoyable. We have been here a couple times and it was pleasure both visits. This last time we were taking a day off from the gym, and wanted grab some wine instead. It had been sometime since we stopped into Sixty Vines so it made sense. We showed soon after work so we beat the rush(plenty o groups came in after had got there). We grabbed a couple spots at their long bar. Its a big one but it feels homey, brightly lit. And the bartenders are friendly and quick. Ours had us try a couple things so we got to settle into a couple of excellent glasses. They have 60 actual taps for their wines, so to sample is ecouraged. It was a great call on a happy hour, we could have done worse. I'd give it a couple more weeks, and we will be ready to skip the gym again for a nice cab. read more

This is a large, vibrant restaurant with lots of wine selections, as you'd expect from a place called Sixty Vines. The food and drinks were good but the service, although attentive, was on the slow side on a busy Saturday night. Pappardelle 5/5 - very tasty al dente pappardelle pasta with a pork shoulder ragú. Steak frites 4/5 - good flavor with a chimichurri sauce but the steak was cooked a little over the requested temperature. Charred broccolini 3/5 - this was just ok. We stopped in a few days ago for dinner. Our expectations were pretty high considering how great our last meal was. We were seated promptly and the staff was very friendly. Also loved the atmosphere once again, it's just a very nice, open place to enjoy a meal and have a drink. We got a bunch of appetizers to start. The house made Ricotta with cracked pepper and olive oil was very delicious. I also loved the crispy zucchini slices, which were topped with peppadew peppers and a chili vinaigrette. Outstanding stuff. The seared ahi tuna was next level. The fish was fresh and beautifully seated and the mix of cucumber, aji amarillo, pineapple, cilantro and wasabi cream was sensational. One of the best dishes they make at Sixty Vines. The absolute best of the bunch was the truffle fries! They were amazing. They are basically crispy layered potatoes, almost like stacks of filo dough, fried and topped with pecorino, chives and lemon truffle cream. They were so good we ordered a second one! Considering how wonderful everything was to this point, we were expecting nothing but great things for the next course. However they completely dropped the ball and basically ruined our meal with lackluster entrees. Our party ordered the steak fries with chimichurri sauce, the double cabrenet burger, and several filet mignons. The amount of time it took to get the food was unreasonable. Once the appetizers were finished we had to wait somewhere around 20 to 25 minutes to get our mains, and the place was not that busy. I assume that the waitress just forgot or was busy with something else. As for the food, the quality of the steaks was not good all around. Everybody who got the filet mignon commented that the texture was chalky and weird. They were also all overcooked. And oddly, they decided to slice the steak before serving it, so it was very dry. Why would you pre slice a steak, all that's going to do is let the juices seep out and make the temperature drop. I honestly don't get it. The steak that came with the steak fries, I think it was a skirt steak, was also not the best cut. It was super fatty and a little chewy. The fries were good though but the meat was terrible. Finally the burger was completely overdone despite the person ordering it medium rare. Overall, not the best ending to a meal that started with such amazing dishes. Really striking contrast. And actually it made me think that I probably will not go back to Sixty Vines anytime soon. For a $350 meal they have to be doing a lot better. Dried out, overcooked steaks and burgers isn't going to cut it. read more

The place is absolutely beautiful. It's such a nice vibe and gorgeous decor. Outside is beautiful but it was just too hot to sit outside. The hostess was super welcoming and so sweet. I e server also. My only complaint was the size of the charcuterie board. I was in shock when it was brought out. Since this is a wine venue, I would have expected way more of a board than what was delivered. It was pretty laughable actually. We got there at 5:30 on a Sunday and the waiter told us they were already out of two main items in the menu. Other than that, the place is very nice. Decent food and very good pricey wine. read more

The restaurant was packed when we got there at 2 pm on Sunday and wait time for a table was about 1 hour; however, the bar is open seating and we were able to get the last 2 open seats. We were not planning to sit at the bar, but the food and service we got was excellent, so we had a great time anyway. This Boca location is a bit bigger than the one in Las Olas, but the decorations and atmosphere are similar. Also, this one has a much larger patio seating area. I've been here several times now, so this is not a one-off--and unfortunately, it continues to disappoint. I was there with a large group and while the space is pretty, the experience was frustrating. My salad with chicken and olives was just okay--nothing special. Several people in our group didn't receive their meals until the very end, and only after someone finally complained to the manager. I ordered coffee and was served an Americano without being told the coffee machine was broken. I kept wondering why it tasted watered down. When I asked for a refill, that's when I found out--and the refill never even came. When I asked for that charge to be removed, it was done reluctantly. Nice atmosphere, but inconsistent service, poor communication, and average food make this place more trouble than it's worth. I wish they would get it right. Seriously. read more

Our first time eating here was a recent Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere is very inviting, and we were seated in a comfortable spot being served by KC. Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. He was very engaging, a wonderful communicator, and we made our selections which started with the bacon wrapped dates (YUM). Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. Our server this time was Bella, and she was funny, sweet, and incredibly patient since it took us forever to decide what we wanted. She gave us great recommendations that really helped. We paired it with the PROSCIUTTO DI PARMA farm aged ham, 18 months and the BEEMSTER AGED GOUDA NL cow milk, firm recommend all of them! Like I said we ordered an extra house made ricotta because it was just too good to be true! We also shared the TUNA CRUDO seared ahi tuna, cucumber, aji amarillo, pineapple, cilantro so fresh and tasty! WOW! The location is very unassuming from the outside but once you step in the restaurant is transformed. There's a beautiful moss wall to take photos in front of. The place is massive from the door all the way to the kitchen. The bar area is beautiful and the entire restaurant's decor is aesthetically pleasing. The food and drinks don't only taste good, but they look good as well. The steak and vegetables were cooked to perfection. Rented out a room for my daughter's bridal shower and the two assigned servers Teagan and Bobby really made the event a success for the 25 guests and should be commended for their help. There were lots of food but my favorite was the shrimp pasta and the burgers. The mimosas were flowing for a full three hours. And on a pleasant Friday evening, all the doors and windows were open and there was a comfortable open feeling. It was a Friday and we anticipated it being busy but it wasn't so busy and we got seated right away. My companions all ordered wine and a few drinks and the wait staff are knowledgeable about the items in the menu - and for the friend who couldn't decide which wine to choose, they have a sample option. The server was pleasant and helpful in making a few decisions about food too. We got a meat and cheese board for the table. And while I didn't eat the meats, I can say the cheeses were good and they honeycomb, nuts, and pita they serve it with are a nice complement. Most of the table ordered meat-based dishes and they said they liked them. The pizza looked really good, and you can see the wood oven in the kitchen. The rainbow trout looked great, and I was a little sorry I didn't order it. But I was quite happy with the rigatoni I did get; the eggplant and sauce were nice with the slightly peppery tomato sauce. This would not be possible without their phenomenal manager Hayley, their chef Sal, and others I can't name but WOW YALL. With locations starting to pop up all over, I have been meaning to try Sixty Vines and last minute on a weekday my sister and I stopped by. They were packed and we were still seated without a reservation. For the wine connoisseurs....their selection is out of this world! Their wine flights are enough to visit but their staff is what will keep you coming back. The food I can rave about all day. Possibly the best brussels I ever had. The Cali chicken chop was chefs kiss. Their hummus which was so unique and delicious featuring two kinds, edamame and red beet. My sister is a late night espresso lover- we discovered our new favorite coffee beans from a local distributor called Calusa coffee as a result! I also appreciated how my dairy allergy was prioritized as if it was their own. The ambience is a vast open space. A gorgeous outdoor vibe option too. This location is a spectacular spot for large celebrations. Not to mention exceptional interior design with their amazing furnishing and decor! I am shocked I've never been to Sixty Vines before but it was classy and incredible! I love the plaza it's in as it's easy to park and has a ton of restaurants and things within walking distance. We made reservations and were seated right away when we arrived. We had an indoor seat and I was surprised by how spacious the restaurant is. There are so many tables and it was packed the night we went. We started off with the hummus appetizer that comes with two freshly made hummus flavors a green hummus and a red hummus. The bread it comes with is so soft and melt in your mouth. For a main course I decided on the bavette wood grilled steak and got it done medium. It came out a more of a medium well which is fine but it was absolutely delicious! It came with a brown gravy already poured on it, and the steak was cut in slices already. It also came with smashed potatoes that were crispy and complemented the dish super well. Sixty vines has so many wine options and I decided that for a steak I had to order a red wine. For that I ordered the Malbec which came out to match the flavors of the steak perfectly. One caveat is they do not serve beer on tap which is unfortunate. I am so glad I asked because I wanted one but I asked beforehand and they said it's can only. You would be surprised that such a fancy restaurant serves beer out of a can. That's a huge knock for this spot!! Overall, I would definitely come back again at some point soon. The entrees were the Campanelle, double Cabernet burger, and wood grilled Bavette steak. Desserts were olive oil citrus cake, sticky toffee cake, and basque cheesecake. Everything was delicious.
