Of all the new places that have opened over the past year, I find myself coming back here more than anywhere else. I've always loved the atmosphere... casual, unpretentious, and airy. It's the kind of place where you can relax with some excellent chow and a nice glass of vino. I previously wrote about their first Terroir Uncorked event, and a few weeks ago I returned for the second, celebrating Barcelona Wine Bar's 30th anniversary. Thirty wines were available to taste, paired with a wonderful selection of food. These events are a lot of fun, especially because they give you the opportunity to explore so many different wines from their list. Attendance is intentionally limited, creating a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. Both events sold out, so when the next one is announced... don't wait. Executive Chef Javier Narvaez and Executive Sous Chef Marc Beauplan prepared some terrific dishes throughout the evening. Highlights included a beautiful oversized Paella and an outstanding Salt-Crusted Salmon. Of course, I was equally happy grazing on the wonderful assortment of cheeses and Serrano ham earlier in the evening. I sampled around twenty of the thirty wines, and the staff at each tasting station did an excellent job explaining the wines and answering questions. My favorites of the evening: Whites Forjas del Salnés, Leirana Albariño Raúl Pérez, Ultreia Blanco Reds Bodegas Olarra, Añares Gran Reserva R. López de Heredia, Viña Tondonia Reserva Cresca Vincent Lauren Brown, their GM, and her entire team did a terrific job organizing the evening and making sure everyone was having a great time. Overall, the food here is great! I've been to Barcelona multiple times and have always had a wonderful experience, with no complaints--until today. The ambiance is always nice and lively, and the service has consistently been attentive and welcoming. This time, I ordered the Gambas al Ajillo, which had a delicious sauce, along with the Beef Carpaccio and Queso Frito. All three were enjoyable. Unfortunately, the Seafood Paella was a major disappointment. The paella was heavily sauced with tomato, the rice was undercooked and had more of a risotto-like texture, and the seafood was overcooked and dry. I still enjoy Barcelona and would return, but hopefully the paella was just an off night. read more

Could be generational because I'm seeing this more often and it's a no go for me. Anyways- she redeemed herself- saw picture of dish on yelp that looked good- they didn't have it on the brunch menu-but she said she could tell the chef to make it. That was very nice of her. Definitely a 3.5 but I'm upping it to a 4 because it's new, and I've been to the one in Raleigh and loved it. Located in the new Sundy Village in Delray, the restaurant is a chain with locations around the country. The concept is to replicate the look and energy of a late night bar in Spain and they did a nice job here. The atmosphere is lively and clearly popular as the new place on the ave. I met a friend after work. I got there just after 5 and my girlfriend got 2 seats at the bar. As I was sitting, I noticed a huge turnover of seats and tables. I asked the bartender why people were leaving and he said Happy Hour ends at 5. I laughed and said... that's not happy hour... that's late lunch or call it what it really is... early bird special. The tapas menu covers a nice sampling of small dishes. The mussels were ok and I had an order of Gambas Al Ajillo- 5 small shrimp cooked in way too much garlic. Tapas are meant to be shared but I found these small plates are small and a bit pricy for what you get. On a Saturday, we decided to go to Delray and remembered some friends had recommended trying Barcelona. The word is out, it was busy! Thankfully we found two spots at the bar, while more people kept coming in. They have a great selection of wines, some you can only find there or in Spain.... And loved that they have some tasting flights. Also liked that they know their wines and are able to recommend and talk about what they are serving you. In addition to the wine, their food was delicious. The Wagu carpaccio is a must! The croquetas came hot and creamy, 4 to a plate, great for sharing. Even with how busy they were, the staff worked flawlessly, attending to everyone quickly, and not keeping us waiting at all. We shared a quite a few tapas here. The pan con tomate was one of my favorites. I also enjoyed the chickpea and spinach dish, which was a lot tastier than it looked. The paella was good! I ordered the salmon, but would not again. Felt that the worse of what I tried. I enjoyed the tortilla though. The shrimps were just OK for me, but my sister enjoyed them. Service was very friendly and attentive. Parking was easy in a garage nearby. Nice ambiance. Pretty crowded and loud. read more

Very upscale vibe & prices. Love the Tapas concept the food was good. Sone dishes were better than others. We had a huge problem, not understanding the menu and we were not the only ones which is definitely a bigger issue. We did not like the Happy Hour drink menu. It took a long time to get served, so much so that the hostess came up to us and asked if we would like water while we wait. I really admire the fact that she noticed. Special shout out to her and I did not get her name. Christina was our bartender and she was great when she did come over - she was funny, she was professional and she was efficient. I thought the meatballs were bland and they were so tiny. Kristina also charged us incorrectly because we ordered three items on the happy hour and she charged us for two and then separately charged for a single. I would go back to try other dishes. The cauliflower was great. I love the fact that most of their dishes were vegetable dishes and healthier options. read more

3.5 stars rounded up to 4. Barcelona is located in the bustling downtown Delray. Reservations are recommended. Parking can be challenging. This restaurant is fairly new, and beautifully decorated, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Nice vibe. We were a party of 3 couples and sampled different plates and tapas. There was one vegan in our party and the restaurant was able to accommodate her palate. The dishes were hit and miss. The meat platter was underwhelming. Beef carpaccio was one of the best items (we ordered two plates!) The vegan paella was good (be prepared to wait a little while the kitchen prepares this dish). I've had tastier patatas bravas and Croquetas at other area Spanish restaurants. The spinach and chick peas dish was kind of mushy and bland. A side order of bread with some whipped cheese was nothing special and a waste of table space. Save room for dessert. The standout was the olive oil cake for dessert. I'm not a huge cake person but this was delicious. There is a selection of Spanish wines and beer, sangria, and cocktails. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Drove by on Friday and told the wife that we must hit this spot. We went this Saturday and it was a hit. The service was awesome, we had Perrin as our waiter and he delivered. He was very thorough with the menu and he had great suggestions. We sat outside, which did bring on some gnats. But we made the best of it. The place has great vibes and the food was delicious. Me and the wifey shared The croquettes, empanadas and some delicious bread they bring to the table. To top off or dinner, we ordered the Parrillada Barcelona. We were made well aware of the prep time for this. It took about 30-35 mins to get it. Order it early. The topping of it all was the dessert. The most amazing Olive oil cake. We had a fabulous time celebrating my husband's friend's 40th birthday at Barcelona last night. Our server, Heather, was wonderful and made sure we had a birthday surprise in place before he arrived. That said, both the managers personally came over and checked in on our table as well. 20/10 for service! The food was delicious. I've been to the Barcelona Wine Bar locations in Boston and DC so I wasn't surprised at all to see consistently delicious food being served at this location as well. We had so many incredible dishes but if I had to pick my favorites, it was the meat paella, the truffle jamon and cheese sandwiches, the croquettes, the garlic shrimp and the tortilla espanol. Since i just went to Spain, I can say that this Paella was not as good as the local variety. Ths rice didn't taste the same. Most of the tapas though were good including the shrimp and eggplant, but the carrots not great. Sangria and bread were good and nice staff too. The ambiance in Barcelona is fantastic. Low lights, a big bar area, hustle, and bustle with a crowd of very good-looking people. It was a rainy, cold night, and we parked in the lot underground. There was a wafting aroma of funk, similar to a fishy, gamey dish. I muttered it under my breath to my husband, who rolled his eyes at me. Once in the restaurant, he said, "You know, you're correct". I got used to it, but it wasn't pleasant. We visited the hostess and gave our name for our reservation. The hostess was super bubbly to the max. Maybe a little over-kill, but nice is good. She tried to seat us at the worst table next to her station, which was weird because there were plenty of other tables open, and trust me, this was a damp, freezing, uncomfortable-looking table with stools. Thankfully, she obliged and moved us to a much larger, lovely table. Almost immediately, our server came by with the same overly bubbly personality and went through an exhausting rundown of what's going on there. There's almost too much to look at, and that's just the wine list. We ordered a bottle for the table, and it was delicious. We also ordered a half order of seafood paella straight away because we were told it takes 45 mins to prepare. After a few sips of wine, out popped the paella while we were ordering our other dishes. We sent it back, asking if we could get our apps first. For appetizers, which really double as shareable mains, we had focaccia, jamon, Manchego, a drunken goat cheese, and chorizo. It was just ok. Nothing special. Almost familiar like the one I purchased at Trader Joe's. It felt as though nothing was hand-cut. We had an order of empanadas (soggy on top of a tasteless romesco sauce), funky, strange-tasting broccolini, delicious garlicky shrimp, and a spicy cauliflower dish that was good but didn't really make sense on this menu. When we got the paella, it had enough seafood but was devoid entirely of the socarrat, which is the crispy crust that is a must for paella to be paella. We were disappointed. Basically, it was seafood and rice (short-grain). Lastly, we had coffee that came out semi-hot. I'm disappointed I did not get to try the Basque cheesecake. I have a feeling that would have been the star of the meal. I get the draw to this place. It's a sexy vibe. It's young and happening. I'm sure it'll do well. I don't think I'll be back unless I'm going for a drink and some olives (or cheesecake). read more

This is an upscale restaurant that lives up to its billing. From the moment you walk in... you felt the vibe. Love the small plate concept. As well as the smaller plate Happy Hour! The food is interesting and tasty. Major issue with the menu: it's in Spanish and I do not speak or read Spanish. There is not enough descriptions of what the food is and there were several other people at the bar with the same issue! When every customer asks to have the menu defined; it's time to revise your menus! Service was extremely slow as it took a very long time to be greeted. However, once we were greeted by Christina, she was very friendly, professional, and efficient. We tried several dishes and will return to try several more. Barcelona Wine Bar truly makes you feel like you've stepped into Spain without ever leaving Delray Beach. From the moment you walk in, the energy is lively and buzzing--yes, it's loud and yes, navigating around the crowded bar can be a little tricky, but that's all part of the fun. It feels authentic and vibrant. The wine flight was a great way to start the evening--three pours for $16 is a fantastic value and a perfect way to explore different Spanish wines. We tried several dishes and each one delivered: * Spiced beef empanadas - perfectly crisp and nicely packed with flavorful beef. * Patatas bravas - honestly as good as what I've had in Spain, if not better. Crispy, bold, and addictive. * Gambas al ajillo - absolutely on point, not too garlicky and rich with great balance. * Parrillada Barcelona - the standout dish of the night. A full board loaded with steak, chicken, pork loin, and gaucho sausage served with salad. If you love grilled meats, this is the one to order. And if you're a Basque cheesecake fan, don't skip dessert--it's the perfect ending to the meal. The staff overall was very accommodating and attentive. Our particular server was a bit immature and could use some polishing on the hospitality side, but the rest of the team stepped in seamlessly and made sure we had everything we needed, which really made up for it. We stopped for some tapas last weekend. The food was absolutely delicious and service was extremely cordial and fast. They were very friendly and even the manager stopped by just to check on the table. Definitely get the pulpo (octopus) tapa it was PERFECTLY cooked and the flavors absolutely outstanding. If you get the platter make sure to get some guava jam cubes to go with the cheese, perfect pairing. We sat outside and the terrace is just so nicely put together. Came here for a girls night on a Wednesday evening. Very glad we made a reservation because it was super busy, with our resy we got seated right away. I ordered one of the wine flights and all the wines were super tasty. The Manager stopped by and even treated us to some additional wine samples which was very gracious and we enjoyed all of them! All of the food was so yummy! Some of our favorites were the patatas bravas, broccolini, and meatballs. The Brussels were good but felt like they needed to more charred and crispy. We sat at the crowded, bustling bar. The bar tenders were very attentive and took our order very quickly. Barcelona Wine Bar has a great selection of Spanish wines by the glass (3.5 oz and 6 oz portions) and bottles as well as wines from many regions around the globe, plus a set of cocktails on the menu. They also have a wide array of tapas, charcuterie & cheese boards, and a few large plates and salads. Everything we ordered we enjoyed. On the charcuterie and cheese side we tried the drunken goat, aged manchego, and chirizo picante. The plate itself was pretty basic - the three items singularly laid out, side by side, on the board. For tapas, the braised short ribs were my favorite dish, and the house made focaccia was very good (thick pieces with salt and a hint of rosemary). The albondigas were good in a hearty red sauce. We also tried the Chicken Pimiento large plate with potatoes, lemon and hot cherry peppers. It was very good - the chicken had a bit of a kick and was tasty, the potatoes were cut in slabs and the hot cherry peppers had a nice heat to them. We tried a few of the cocktails - the Dos Peninsulas which with the nutmeg and slight sweetness reminded me of Thanksgiving just because nutmeg makes me think of pumpkin pie. It had a lot of ice in it. The Alebrijes with mezcal was okay. What I like about Barcelonas, along with their wide and varied wine selection, is their array of sherrys and sangrias. In fact, one of the bar tenders climbed up on the bar and proceeded around the countertop with a glass porron style wine pitcher and poured a taste of sangria into willing open mouths of customers - very cool! Barcelona Wine Bar recently opened at Sundy Village in Delray Beach, FL. Highly anticipated, many years in the making, I think the Sundy Village will shift the center of gravity of The Ave westward. It looks like a craft brewery, taco stand, and bakery (Maman) will open soon and Van Leeuwens ice cream a few buildings down has been open for a few months (these are/will all be in restored historic homes and cottages). Barcelona Wine Bar has been packed since opening a few weeks ago (I base this on having been there twice over the past few weeks) - I wish the bar area was larger; the restaurant has a few sit down areas, plus an outdoor area, right on the corner of Atlantic and Swinton, which is a focal point for sure. There's underground parking and even a valet (that's accessible from the entrance to Sundy Village, not outside of the restaurant). UPDATE: We visited Valentine's Day eve. As we waited they had an outdoor bar with sangria (we had the white which was a bit watered down) and complimentary paella. They sat us close to our reservation time (730). Our table was very close to the surrounding two-tops on either side but everyone was friendly and we enjoyed speaking to our neighbors. This night, we tried the beef empanadas, hummus, whipped goat cheese, and the olive oil cake for dessert paired with the El Maestro sherry. The appertivo board was good, especially the patatas bravas portion. Also, the vegetable paella was good. Service was great and the food came out quickly. Barcelona Wine Bar in Delray is in one of the most competitive dining areas around, so expectations are high walking in. Angelina, Angelina, Angelina, our server. What can I even say? More than pleasantly surprised. Reservation was for 9:15 for eight people, but three of us were still out on the avenue and honestly we weren't even sure they'd make it. We got there a little early so we grabbed drinks at the bar and eventually brought them over to the table because we couldn't wait to get started. Once seated, Angelina came over, introduced herself, and began taking our order. We took forever. The main focus was catching up since we hadn't seen each other in a while. When you get a group of Cubans together, it immediately turns into ten conversations from five people all happening at once. Eventually we got around to ordering. Then Angelina asked if there were any allergies. That's when I saw something I've never seen before in all my years of dining out. One of our friends has a dairy allergy and is pescatarian. Instead of just noting it, Angelina took her menu and literally crossed out everything she shouldn't order. She did the same with mine, pointing out what couldn't be made without potatoes. I've honestly never seen that level of attention before. Later the manager came over to check on us and asked how everything was. I told her everything was great, but made sure to point out how exceptional Angelina was. The manager actually sighed in relief and told us that Angelina, recently hired, had gone to her earlier saying she felt like she wasn't connecting with our table and wanted to know how she could do better. That right there says everything. A server who genuinely cares and wants to represent the restaurant the best way possible. Her future looks bright. Food was very good. Prices were reasonable. We've eaten at other locations of this restaurant before and never had issues, which made this visit even more disappointing. We had a 7:30pm reservation and weren't seated until 35 minutes later. When we asked about the delay, the manager told us they operate first come first served and that reservations essentially mean nothing, so there was no real reason to make one. We were given champagne while we waited, but that didn't make up for the rudeness. The problems continued once we sat down. The restaurant was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves think, let alone hold a conversation with each other. A martini was spilled on our table while it was being served and later in the meal, another drink was spilled on someone at our table, a result of the tables being packed so close together, and staff never acknowledged it or apologized. Our table was never cleared throughout the meal, and we had to ask multiple times for new plates. Even simple requests were mishandled. We asked for lemon for our water and got rinds instead. At one point we were questioned about leftovers on the table in a way that felt uncomfortable and invasive. On top of that, our courses came out of order, the paella entree arrived before the octopus appetizer. Between the wait, the noise, the service issues, and the manager's attitude, this was an easy pass. read more

The only thing I wanted to try they were sold out of. Drinks: they brought my margarita in a water cup? I saw others had actual cocktail glasses. Finally, got a reservation. On a Friday night, all I could get was 5:45 pm for 4! When we got there, the restaurant was already packed. I was surprised they don't even offer happy hour (yet) and the bar was packed too. Barcelona is new to Delray Beach in the new Sundy Village complex at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Swinton. The only other place open so far is Van Leeuwen ice cream in an historic home next door. The décor at night is dark and modern with house music that can almost be heard above the din of the boisterous crowd. It seemed at least a decibel lower in the seating closer to the bathrooms than where we sat with our backs to the kitchen. There's also some attractive and quieter seating outside. The service was very good. They really wanted to please us. The food was delicious and fresh. The portions seemed small (well, it is tapas), but I ended up feeling really stuffed when we left. They provide complimentary warm sourdough bread. There's a charge for the focaccia, which is served as a small warm square. It was one of the yummiest things we ordered. The Appetizer Board was nice to share. My one criticism of it is that it came with such little bits of membrillo. There should have been a few slices to eat with the cheese. The Whipped Goat Cheese was smooth and creamy and came with wonderful crackers. I was disappointed in the flavor of the Kabocha Squash Hummus. I thought it would have more of the squash flavor (I'm a big fan of Kabocha). It came with some fresh slices of red bell peppers and carrots. We appreciated the waiter bringing us extra veggie sticks. It doesn't sound like much, but that would have been enough for the 4 of us. I didn't want to leave without trying the paella, so we ordered a half Paella Mariscos too. We weren't advised to order that at the beginning of the meal. When we ordered it, we were told it could take 40 minutes, but it came out much quicker. It was moist and loaded with smoked paprika, a few shrimp, muscles, and clams, but no socarrat. Our friends ordered the Olive Oil Cake and loved it. It's served as a wedge and tasted very fresh. As to beverages: My friend ordered a sparkling wine that seemed flat. So, without even asking they replaced it. Not being connoisseurs, we didn't know that cava (or at least their cava) has a lot less bubbles than most champagne. We also ordered a Bourbon Spice Rack and the Laird's Way. The Spice Rack tastes more like a sour than an old fashioned (probably because of the lemon). The first Laird's Way was delicious and smokey. The second seemed to be missing the smoke. We mentioned that to the manager and he immediately brought another one. I would say that one had too much amaro - so the bartending is a bit inconsistent. I was pleasantly surprised by the tea service. They had English Breakfast and they served it properly with my own pot. About Parking: There is valet parking until midnight for $15 or a garage with $4/hr parking. To pay at the garage you must use the mobile app or the machine next to the elevator. There's also a parking lot across the street for the library (which is closed in the evening). People were parked there and I know many people used to park there because it was free at night, but there are signs that say it's a tow-away zone and the town changed the parking regulations in October '25, so we didn't want to risk it. read more

I called on Sunday night to make a reservation because open table had nothing available, when we got there they could not find my name but the restaurant was empty so they sat us( 2 people). We sat outside in the most uncomfortable and ugly chairs I have ever encountered. We waited 20 minutes before anyone noticed us. The shrimp in garlic was excellent so I thought we were off to a great meal. Everything went downhill from there. The chicken was dried out and disgusting , the paella was completely burnt and basically inedible . We sent both back and our waiter was apologetic and said that the kitchen staff was having issues . There were flys everywhere , all in , we won't be back. Another Florida restaurant with good reviews that I just don't understand. Barcelona in Delray is a gem--and the locals clearly know it. Great wine selection at very reasonable prices. We sat at the bar and the bartenders are on point. We never had an empty glass or plate all night. It's a little dark, but it totally works for the cozy, buzzy atmosphere. No parking lot, but valet is available--and there's easy public parking by the library just a block away (about a one-minute walk). Definitely a go-to spot. read more

Came with my boyfriend and we were so excited to finally try Barcelona Wine Bar -- and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-notch. Our bartender, Lynn, was amazing: super personable, knowledgeable, and gave great recommendations. The manager, Josh, even introduced himself when he heard I'm planning my birthday there. He suggested the perfect table and promised they'd blow it out of the water -- which really speaks to the level of care and hospitality here. The entire staff was friendly, warm, and welcoming. The vibes were everything: great music, beautiful ambiance, and a lively energy. Yes, it's busy -- but in the best way. Such a great new addition to the Ave. I've been to the Barcelona location in Charlotte, so I was thrilled to see one open in the new Sundy Village. Food was phenomenal. We ordered several dishes -- the chicken, New York strip, croquettes, and pork tenderloin -- and every single one was fabulous. Incredible flavor, great portions, and excellent value for the quality. Very pretty restaurant, seating inside and outside. We sat outside. Table was a bit small and chairs were pretty uncomfortable. We were waited on immediately and the service overall was very good. Everyone was super attentive. We ordered a charcuterie plate, (2 meats, 1 cheese), 4 tapas and a 1/2 seafood paella. The charcuterie plate was fine, nothing special. It would have been nice if it came with some little extras like olives, nuts, etc. For tapas we had garlic shrimp, patatas bravas, roasted carrots, and croquettes. Everything was just fine. Again, not really bad, just nothing special. Also, way too much sauce on the patatas. All of these plates come out within about 5 minutes of ordering, almost all at once, which was a bit concerning. Bread was offered after tapas arrived. Our sangrias arrived well after the tapas dishes. Paella arrived fairly quickly as well. A lot of seafood, not a ton of rice, and the whole dish was way over sauced. Just not very good. The chef definitely needs to go easier in the sauces in general, and the restaurant needs to slow down the pace. I'm not in a race to get out. Overall, we thought a pretty mediocre meal. There are absolutely much better tapas restaurants nearby. I wont be back here. read more

This place is outstanding the food was delicious. Also it's in a great location of downtown Delray. The variety of meats was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. A must try is the coquette and the orange olive cake it comes out warm and moist absolutely delicious. Our waiter Perrin made the best recommendations. Wonderful service. If you want an experience, go here! I was pleasantly surprised by the staff, timeliness and the food was just out of this world. I love trying a bunch of plates with friends, so this tapas style restaurant delivered. In my opinion, it's a great addition to downtown Delray! I went to Barcelona Wine Bar in Delray Beach with a group of 10 people, and it ended up being a very disappointing experience. From the start, we felt pressured by the staff to order the tasting menu because of our group size. That wasn't our original plan we would have preferred to order individually, but based on their recommendation, we agreed, expecting it to be a good option for everyone. That turned out to be a mistake. The portions were extremely small and didn't make sense for a group our size. They would bring out one tiny plate at a time for the entire table, which was nowhere near enough for everyone. For example, the mushrooms didn't even have enough for each person to get one small piece, and with only four croquetas for 10 people, we couldn't even split one each. Getting a single small plate for the whole table felt almost laughable. It never felt like a complete meal, and we ended up having to order more food just to eat. When we raised concerns, the staff became dismissive and rude, and it felt like they stopped paying attention to our table altogether. To make things worse, when we reviewed the bill, it didn't match what we actually received. The pricing felt completely unjustified for the amount of food served, and it honestly felt like we were pushed into an expensive option that didn't deliver. Overall, between the pressure to choose the tasting menu, the tiny portions, poor service, and overpriced bill, this was a frustrating experience. Had a great dinner here with some friends. The menu is extensive. Loved the Jamon Serrano with 2 cheeses, the Aged Manchego and Drunken Goat. The bread is warm and fantastic. Tried the Paella with meats and the Strip Steak, Chicken, Pork Loin and Sausage Platter... a lot of food... really good. We shared Chocolate Cake and Cheesecake for dessert. I would be hard pressed to read someone's review of this place if it was anything other than a perfect 5 stars. My family and I have eaten at Barcelona Wine Bar several times in Boston and we are so happy there is one down here. The atmosphere is electric and it's loud inside but it works! The staff here were exceptional and patient. The food is excellent so try it all. Full bar and it gets very crowded and you definitely need a reservation. Everyone dresses nice. Shorts are fine as is jeans and some even dress up a bit more. No hats on backwards and no trash at this place. It can get expensive because there is so much to try so go there hungry. Full bar and lots of wines to choose from. Don't miss out on this place. It's fantastic!!!! read more

My wife decided to try a new place for us. She had been to Barcelona Spain and Barcelona Wine Bar in Atlanta and Nashville and had great experiences. So off we went with high expectations. Concept and Menu grade A. We walked in and were greeted right away. In side or out? We decided outside and were asked to wait outside until seated. After five minutes hostess came out and asked where did we want to sit? (You told us wait outside) We were brought water (no ice) and the young lady said she would be assisting the server. When the server came over she asked if we were ready to order. No suggestions or information other than large plates take 30 mins. Are you ready to order? We asked to order small plates first and come back after. My wife ordered a wine flight with 3 glasses and was happy, me iced tea. They brought our small plates and it was average. Very salty and overall ok. After some time my wife wanted another wine and me another iced tea. We could not get anyone to acknowledge us. Finally after an extended period of time the waitress came over. We ordered our food and no tea. Finally after 15 min had to ask again for tea. The brought it and 2 ice cubes. Had to request ice. The large plates came and they were just not very good. My paella warm/cold and very salty half the seafood was not very good. My wife got fish which was filleted or butchered table side. Food was a C. Execution overall was terrible and gets an F. I don't know if it was an off day but not once were we asked if food was good or if we needed anything. The timing of service was just off and while there were numerous people walking around, no one seemed to interested in us. Overall it was at best ok but certainly not more than a C overall. read more
