    80 m!s brunch

My friends surprised me for my birthday to an 80's themed Sunday brunch . The Dj played fun 80's tunes . The restaurant was set with cute centerpieces. One of the waitresses was dressed up as well which was fun. We tried a few different dishes. The French toast was sweet and decadent. The brunch burger also very tasty and a salmon flatbread which was a favorite all around . Definitely a fun place to meet up with friends or celebrate a special occasion . Would love to try their dinner one night .

Cute little place if you want to try different wines on tape. You can also just sit and enjoy snack and drinks. Large location and quick service. Staff was excellent at recommendations. Enjoyed drinks and charcuterie- overall defs recommend

This wine bar is one of my favorite places in Delray. This night they had a stranger things pop up for the premiere of the new stranger things season. Menus, decor and drinks were tailored to the show. Bartenders are always ready with recommendations for food and drinks and the staff over all is very attentive. Shout out to Jules and her Old Fashions!

Absolutely amazing place. Been here a few times for the speakeasy and brunch. The food and service will never disappoint. A very cool place in Delray Beach.

Went here to try their new happy hour menu and I am SO happy with the new change! They offer a lot of great deals on food and drinks for happy hour. I tried the salmon plate for the first time, which was delicious; I loved the corn and crispy skin on top. The drinks are all well crafted and delicious. Our server was amazing, he lightened the mood with his good humor, jokes, and recommendations. He was very honest about which dishes were good and not so good, and where there was a good deal, which was incredibly appreciated. The food was so quick to come out! We didn't have to wait long. I was a huge fan of the Wine Room. My friends and I were so sad when they changed happy hour and increased the prices. Now, not only did they decrease the prices and introduce delicious new drinks and food, but they increased seating for happy hour! So we no longer have to fight for a spot at the bars. Wine and Spirits Kitchen, this change is an incredibly welcome new addition to the Ave! Especially with the change in parking that Delray Beach implemented. It's nice to find happy hour with great prices and delicious food. We will be frequently coming back!

I've been going to this location for years. I love the remodel. I came in for a friend's birthday this time. Ryan was our server. He was very personable and attentive with great energy. We ordered from the happy hour menu. I ordered flatbread and brussel sprouts. Everything came out hot and delicious. My husband ordered the deviled eggs and bacon skewers. He said his food was really good. Max, the sommelier, is always helpful with selecting wines based on your tastes. He always helps me select interesting wines. I love the Caymus 50th anniversary Cabernet Sauvignon. I like trying tastes of wine using my card, so I can try more higher end brands without breaking the bank.

I came here for dinner one night and my experience was absolutely amazing. I love the aesthetic on the inside, the elegant ambiance, and the service. The roasted garlic hummus and the chicken appetizer was absolutely delightful. The shrimp scampi was not my favorite. It was a bit too zesty and by the time it arrived, I was full. Overall loved this place and would come back.

I hate to say it, but "meh". Our server was very nice. Ordered some wines and it was a good start. The rounds of appetizers came out. I immediately started enjoying the whipped ricotta, yum! However, the chicken lollipop app our friend ordered had hair... not one, but several... like it was dropped or something. That set a weird feeling of course for all the food. They brought us out another and kept it on the bill, like nothing happened. Next, for 20$ a wine, you'd this they'd check for wine glass chips. My friend had one glass chipped and my glass at the end was chipped. I didn't realize until my last sip when it just hardly tugged on my lip. We sat for a good 20 minutes or so after apps were cleared to get entrees. My bf and I added two more wines... meant to finish our dinner with.. but got them pretty late when we wanted the bill. We considered several times on cancelling them, and should have. So basically just drank them so we could leave. Also, no split checks.... Never worked at a place that simply wouldn't do this for two parties, so I'll never understand. It's definitely not complicated. I personally enjoyed my food, but overall, a little bummed on our visit. We also didn't get to try the Brussel sprouts my friend ordered, but never were rung in. It was definitely not what I hoped for on our double date night. Would have been alright spending close to $300 after tip elsewhere, plus the 100$ my friend spent separately on a wine card for refills.

Jackie was so kind and helpful! 10/10 experience and service. The board she curated was excellent and well thought out. She had extensive knowledge of all the cheeses and her recommendations reflected that. The wine selection from the self-pour was excellent and fairly priced. They had some live music (electric keyboard piano) as well which added nice ambiance to the whole experience.

Came for cocktails with my parents and old friends. Sat at the bar for quick service, but the restaurant was packed. Very cool cocktail menu - I tried the Penicillin which is hard to find most places. My parents love the smoked old fashioned and my husband got a mezcal drink that was very good. Menu looked good, would def come back to try some food.

We have always loved coming here to The Wine Room. The set up is so conducive to tasting new wines, great food which most wine bars lack and a great store attached to the dining and tasting room. The tastings are dispersed through measured wine pours from dispensers organized by whites vs reds and similar veriatles. The pour sizes are different, to either taste the wine or pour larger amounts to drink. Its a great way to discover new wines. All this while ordering from a large variety of food off their menu. They serve delicious flatbreads, salads, small plates and a full menu of entrees. It's not your typical wine bar that is limited on food. We went for their Happy Hour which is a great deal. Wines by the glass for $7.00 and several food items with attractive Happy Hour prices. We ordered the Whipped Riccatta served with Baquettes and the Bacon Wrapped Dates. Perfect for our late afternoon wine tasting. Happy Hour is definitely the deal. To get the wines out of the machines to taste you need to load up a card with money to put into a slot on the dispenser, the pick your wine and size pour. This is the place for a great wine happy hour. They have some top shelf wines which makes this a lot of fun. If the wines you taste and like are available in the store, they do have reasonable prices on those bottles, only for take home at those prices. If you are in Delray Beach, best to stop in later in the day for some light bites and great wines. Very comfy atmosphere and so many options in wine and food.

My friends and I went there for our Galentine's Day. We made reservation as it was on Valentine's Day and the place was packed. The ambience is very nice. As you can see in the first videos, they have a wine selection. The wine selection is easy to use, you get a card prepaid card and get your wine. Your regular card will not work and they are very helpful. For anybody who is into wine tasting, this can be a thing. Now into appetizer. When I tell you that I had the best escargot!!!! Chef kiss!! Their Stuffed Dates were flavorful but also sweet which is (in my opinion) a must have for brunch. The Charred Octopus was divine!!! It was cooked to perfection and is a must try on that menu. Sixty South Atlantic Salmon and Coq au Vin!! I packed my food to go because the way I wanted to savor that chicken was not restaurant friendly. The only coq au vin I had was almost 10 years ago made by my favorite Haitian chef. When I tell you that Chef Blake made my unconditional loyalty and love for my favorite chef waivers. Don't let me start with that creamy corn !!! Overall my inner foodie pinned that restaurant. Definitely recommend Oh and ask for Aiden (not sure of the spelling) for server. Made the experience even better with how polite and funny he was. Ask for Adam if you want a nice picture in the wine room. Side note: They have a side with live DJ and a side for quiet dining

We had a small wedding celebration in the speakeasy private dining room and it was lovely. The menu for Sunday brunch was delicious. The eggs Benedict served on a biscuit was cooked to perfection. If you have a sweet tooth try the strawberry French toast. The coffee is rich and served French press style table side. Don't miss checking out this little treasure.

Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. He was very engaging, a wonderful communicator, and we made our selections which started with the bacon wrapped dates (YUM). Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. This restaurant is upscale, yet with value pricing. Altogether, my husband and I encourage you to enjoy a lovely meal, and make sure to ask for KC! You won't be disappointed!

Also loved the atmosphere once again, it's just a very nice, open place to enjoy a meal and have a drink. We got a bunch of appetizers to start. The house made Ricotta with cracked pepper and olive oil was very delicious. I also loved the crispy zucchini slices, which were topped with peppadew peppers and a chili vinaigrette. Outstanding stuff. The seared ahi tuna was next level. The fish was fresh and beautifully seated and the mix of cucumber, aji amarillo, pineapple, cilantro and wasabi cream was sensational. One of the best dishes they make at Sixty Vines. The absolute best of the bunch was the truffle fries! They were amazing. They are basically crispy layered potatoes, almost like stacks of filo dough, fried and topped with pecorino, chives and lemon truffle cream. They were so good we ordered a second one! Considering how wonderful everything was to this point, we were expecting nothing but great things for the next course. However they completely dropped the ball and basically ruined our meal with lackluster entrees. Our party ordered the steak fries with chimichurri sauce, the double cabrenet burger, and several filet mignons. The amount of time it took to get the food was unreasonable. Once the appetizers were finished we had to wait somewhere around 20 to 25 minutes to get our mains, and the place was not that busy. I assume that the waitress just forgot or was busy with something else. As for the food, the quality of the steaks was not good all around. Everybody who got the filet mignon commented that the texture was chalky and weird. They were also all overcooked. And oddly, they decided to slice the steak before serving it, so it was very dry. Why would you pre slice a steak, all that's going to do is let the juices seep out and make the temperature drop. I honestly don't get it. The steak that came with the steak fries, I think it was a skirt steak, was also not the best cut. It was super fatty and a little chewy. The fries were good though but the meat was terrible. Finally the burger was completely overdone despite the person ordering it medium rare. Overall, not the best ending to a meal that started with such amazing dishes. Really striking contrast. And actually it made me think that I probably will not go back to Sixty Vines anytime soon. For a $350 meal they have to be doing a lot better. Dried out, overcooked steaks and burgers isn't going to cut it.
