Great service, great white staff great food. What more could we ask for? Been there before under another name. It was good back then and has not missed a beat.

Minestrone Soup. Campbell Soup/Sysco tomato broth but vegetables were fresh and good.

On a recent (and first) visit - came early evening and the hostess with an 80% empty restaurant did a faux pas by sitting us at the table next to the kitchen. But kudos to them they noticed our displeasure and sat us elsewhere without much fanfare. The restaurant reminds me of the many vintage 1980's Boca East restaurants given its decor. The owner presented our selected bottle of wine and we got to talking - turns out he was the former GM of Casa D'Angelo. We started with two appetizers, a bowl of minestrone soup split between the two of us and zucchini flowers, a dish we typically love. Both dishes came out together and were at best lukewarm. No parmesan cheese was offered for the soup and my wife commented that the tomato base broth was straight out of Campbell's (I say Sysco). While she was not a fan I did like the fresh vegetables but again serving the soup at lukewarm temperature gives it at best a 3. The zucchini flowers were good. Minimal zucchini - the tempura batter was heavily stuffed with ricotta. Again a 3. Our main courses included yellowtail snapper oreganata, chicken parm with a small side of spaghetti and broccoli rabe. My wife liked her snapper for the freshness, thinness and lack of fish smell, all positives "it was good". The chicken parm served lukewarm looked like it was pre-prepared in the morning and had a dollop of what looked like day old tomato paste on top. It was bland and actually flavorless. Spaghetti too was nothing to write home about. We had two desserts. A cannoli that if not the best was one of the best I have ever had. The pistachio tartufo was not really liked by my wife. Overall I would say that the food is "ok". Leaving the place - it was bustling, with the Boca East crowd. My wife commented that I was definitely the youngest person there. She gave the place 2 stars and I - 2.5. I did bump it up to 3 because I want to see the place be a success and liked the owner but for now no reason to really come back. I'll stick with Le Sorelle in Downtown East Boca for great Italian.

HH is always great, often making selections from both the HH menu and the regular menu... the fantastic Pork Chop, raw bar and Cheese Selections are regularly in play. I don't often do brunch but this may change after my first time here on a Sunday. A chance to try Chef Blake's Fried Chicken (w waffles) is reason alone to come in. Absolutely loved it. Starters of Deviled Eggs, Shrimp Cocktail, OJ and excellent French Press Coffee. The Strawberry French Toast was a big hit with one person, Croissant Benedict with Lump Crabmeat also pleased. I enjoyed my more traditional Croissant Benedict done with Ham. The Home Fries were great as well. Zoe was a fantastic server! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is actually perfect because no matter what your preference is, we'll find something you like! No more worrying over what bottle to split when everyone has a different palette. The food is also incredible, which tracks because with good wine you need good food. Tonight I kept it simple and just had the shishito peppers, bacon, wrapped dates, and the calamari. Everything was delicious, but the bacon wrath dates get a special shout out. We even ordered a second serving because they were that good! I also highly recommend the speakeasy attached to the restaurant called Radcliffe. I went there on a separate night and it was amazing..

Unfortunately, someone in management apparently looked at a perfectly good menu item that customers actually enjoyed and thought, "You know what? Let's get rid of that." The potatoes were the reason I came back. Crispy, flavorful, and somehow capable of making any meal better. Now they're gone, replaced by disappointment and confusion. I asked if they would be coming back and was told to write a review. For now, it seems these potatoes have been permanently exiled for reasons known only to the menu gods. The rest of the meal was fine, but it's hard to enjoy anything when you're mourning the loss of what was clearly the star of the show. Removing your best side dish is a bold strategy. Let's see if it pays off. Until the potatoes return, I'll likely be spending my dining budget at establishments that haven't declared war on happiness.

Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. He was very engaging, a wonderful communicator, and we made our selections which started with the bacon wrapped dates (YUM). Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. This restaurant is upscale, yet with value pricing. Altogether, my husband and I encourage you to enjoy a lovely meal, and make sure to ask for KC! You won't be disappointed!
