We had an excellent dinner here with friends. We'd made reservations through their website and they confirmed them earlier in the day. When we arrived, we were seated immediately. The place was quite busy. We sat inside. We had very good service from Kara. We started by sharing a Caesar salad. And they were nice enough to bring anchovies on the side. The salad was perfect to share for my husband and me. It was a very good salad. He had their pappardelle pasta with lamb ragu. He said the sauce was meaty. And said his dish was five star. I got the branzino. It was fairly plain, but good with added lemon and salt. It came with a mix of vegetables . I added a side of my (favorite) fingerling potatoes. My meal was good, but my husband's was better. Our friends got the lobster ravioli and the seafood risotto (a lot of seafood!). I'm assuming they liked their meals as well, as there were empty plates! For dessert, we shared an apple tart. It was served warm with a scoop of vanilla gelato. It was one of the better ones we have had in a long time. Our friends had a scoop of cinnamon gelato and an espresso. We look forward to coming here again... soon.

Casalina continues to impress. A solid choice and my go to spot in this area of town. Dinner tonight: Caesar Salad (they do a nice one that is large, perfect to share as a starter). All of their soups are excellent as a starter as well. We also enjoyed Grilled Alaskan Salmon w/dijon mustard sauce, house vegetables... Clam & Mussel Guazzetto: Sauteed New Zealand turner mussels, manila clams, marinara sauce. You basically can't go wrong with any of their menu items. Cocktails are well-made, and a good wine list. Fine service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I was invited to a birthday party at Casalina we were a party of 8. This restaurant is beautiful and and brand new, I heard they just opened a few weeks before I went. I had the choice of an appetizer, entree, dessert and drink. I tried the burrata and octopus carpaccio to start, they were both very light and refreshing dishes. My entree was the chicken Milanesa that was excellend and for dessert they had a strawberry panacotta that was delightful if you like that type of dessert. I also had a classic martini. Service was slow since they were still training staff etc but everyone was super nice. Free parking in the shopping center.

    Saltimbocca alla Romana!

My cousin suggested that we try Casalina near his home for dinner. We had a great time, the food was amazing, my cousin had pappardelle with bolognese lamb sauce, my wife ordered The eggplant parmigiana and I had the Saltimbocca alla Romana. For dessert I shared a tiramisu with my wife. Our server Emily was super friendly, efficient and professional and she's surely a great asset to their team. Next time we go there we'll ask for her, if she's available. It's a very nice place, but next time we'll ask the hostess to be seated further from the musician, it's not that she wasn't good, she had a beautiful voice, it's just that it was a little loud and we wanted to have a conversation.

I was one of the lucky people that got to go for the friends and family dinner tonight. I must say they did a fabulous job. I had the Bronzino delicious. We also had the chicken Parmesan nice large portion serve with pasta. Also, I had burrata cheese, which was delicious and the salads were good. chicken meatballs were big enough to have as a dinner with a salad The tiramisu was good. I must say this restaurant is in for busy season with the delicious food great service most of the staff that were at the other restaurant they before closed and then reopened with new owner are still there !!excellent servers! music was playing. It was real happening. Make sure you make reservations. complementary valet.

Ducked in for a birthday party for my friend Noel Turner and it was a fine time, here's why: * Excellent decor, we sat on a sort of enclosed patio area. * Fabulous service. Very attentive and professional staff. Well trained. * Delicious food! I enjoyed some Turner Mussels as an appetizer and followed that up with an amazing Turner Ribeye, which was cooked to perfection and seasoned fabulously. All around top tier experience, see you there! Cabeza OUT!

We hosted our corporate dinner at Casalina and could not have been happier. The atmosphere was elegant and warm, and the space was perfect for our group. We started with cocktails and then sat down to an incredible Italian dinner. The food was exceptional and the presentation was beautiful. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the team made everything smooth and stress free. Our guests loved the experience and several mentioned they plan to return on their own. Highly recommend Casalina for corporate dinners, team celebrations, and business events. A fantastic venue with excellent food and hospitality.

I had to be out west (and Casalina is way out west) and Yelp recommended the restaurant and overall it was a positive experience. We had drinks first at the bar but the bartender wasn't engaging so we moved on to food. We tried several items and enjoyed everything with the exception of a lackluster pizza. An eggplant item was very good as was a simple but nicely prepared pasta. A Chicken dish (on special) featured chicken that was tender and better quality than many other local Italian restaurants. There aren't too many restaurants in this area and this was my favorite.

The husband-and-wife owners are clearly hands-on... stopping by tables, checking in with guests, and keeping a watchful eye on everything. It's obvious they care and truly want you to have a great time here. I called for a reservation and it was basically sold out... when they said they could take me at 5pm, I grabbed it. Was actually perfect as I was heading over to see the tennis tournament after dinner. On arrival, the place was empty. As expected, when we left, it was completely full. A half bottle of Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay was perfect with my lobster. The wine list isn't extensive, but it's well chosen and fairly priced. The food was excellent across the board. A special of Scallops, Crab Cake, topped with Shrimp over Vegetables was fantastic. My guest enjoyed the Clams Oreganata. I loved my Baked Stuffed Lobster (stuffed with crab), served with amazing Mashed Potatoes... and bonus points for a real hand towel after the lobster. Of course, I had to try the key lime pie... very good. Now I understand why this casual, unassuming spot is so popular... it hits on every note. I noticed a bunch of regulars dining at the bar, which looked perfect to me. The bar is walk-in only... so next time I don't have dinner plans, I'll remember I can just walk in and try for a seat. I recently came back with a friend for oysters, clams, and drinks, and we sat at the bar for the evening. The oysters, clams, and mussels were absolutely delicious. I know the ownership has changed since I first came here, but I was so happy to hear the cook is still the same! It really brought back memories. We had a fun night overall -- although I may have slightly annoyed the bartender by asking her to take photos of us (they didn't come out too well under the lighting). Before we left, another server kindly helped us take a few away from the lights, and those turned out much better. All in all, I'm really glad I came back to give J and J's another whirl. The food was fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was warm and nostalgic, and it reminded me why I loved this place to begin with. You should give it a try too!

We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Steak Tartare, served with beer-battered smoked onion petals, truffle, egg yolk, and manchego. It was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Za'atar Roasted Local Vegetables with spicy greens, feta tzatziki, lime pickles, and pepitas. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Or if you want, they have a great bar and you can hang out there and have a bite.
