Great restaurant, even a better bar with great servers and the people. We go almost every week.

This was a surprisingly good restaurant. W've been to many Italian restaurants in the vicinity of Casalina. We have also frequented restaurants on both sides of it...The Sea, quite often and Henry's. I feel that too many restaurants, recently, are easing their way out of the restaurant business and into a carry out/delivery business. I somehow, don't feel like I'm in a restaurant, when I have to bring my distance glasses ...to read the menu on the wall behind the checkout counter, and then have to get up for the food when it's ready, or wait for someone to find you, by the number on a stick at the table. I was pleased to see cloth tablecloths and napkins at the table when we sat down. Our waitress, Cara, was very helpful. We had dinner with another couple. It was the first time for all of us here. We all tried different dishes on the menu, and all loved our choices, all, nicely written. and described on real menus! We shared a salad and then: I had lobster ravioli with a rich creamy pink sauce topped, as the menu said, with "pearl veggies". A nice, (bonus surprise), with the pearl vegetables were a few tiny, but terrific baby shrimp. My husband had the seafood risotto. He said it was great. We usually have leftovers to bring home, but we ate it all! There was a nice selection of wines and cocktails, as well. My husband and I shared...well, I ate most of our cinnamon gelato. A Five Star Dining Experience in all categories! Food, Service, Ambiance, Menu and is the place to dine! We had the pleasure of dining with friends who had been out of the country and we hadn't seen them for two months. What a wonderful setting to be reunited and share a wonderful meal! I shared a Caesar Salad with anchovies with my wife that was superb. My Entree was the Paparadelle Lamb Ragu that was full of lamb, wonderful sauce and perfect pasta! For dessert my wife and I shared an Apple pie torte with vanilla Gelato. What a wonderful evening! read more

We had an excellent dinner here with friends. We'd made reservations through their website and they confirmed them earlier in the day. When we arrived, we were seated immediately. The place was quite busy. We sat inside. We had very good service from Kara. We started by sharing a Caesar salad. And they were nice enough to bring anchovies on the side. The salad was perfect to share for my husband and me. It was a very good salad. He had their pappardelle pasta with lamb ragu. He said the sauce was meaty. And said his dish was five star. I got the branzino. It was fairly plain, but good with added lemon and salt. It came with a mix of vegetables . I added a side of my (favorite) fingerling potatoes. My meal was good, but my husband's was better. Our friends got the lobster ravioli and the seafood risotto (a lot of seafood!). I'm assuming they liked their meals as well, as there were empty plates! For dessert, we shared an apple tart. It was served warm with a scoop of vanilla gelato. It was one of the better ones we have had in a long time. Our friends had a scoop of cinnamon gelato and an espresso. We look forward to coming here again... soon. read more

The greeting, seating, were elegant. We sat in a corner but our waist and staff were very attentive. We ordered the dinner special and each part of the meal was tasty, beautifully presented. I enjoyed the buffalo mozzarella with tomato (best mozzarella I have ever had, very fresh and creamy), Bronzino with a bed of spinach, chocolate mousse cake with Chantilly cream. Casalina continues to impress. A solid choice and my go to spot in this area of town. Dinner tonight: Caesar Salad (they do a nice one that is large, perfect to share as a starter). All of their soups are excellent as a starter as well. We also enjoyed Grilled Alaskan Salmon w/dijon mustard sauce, house vegetables... Clam & Mussel Guazzetto: Sauteed New Zealand turner mussels, manila clams, marinara sauce. You basically can't go wrong with any of their menu items. Cocktails are well-made, and a good wine list. Last night (a Saturday in late April) we had a 6:45 PM reservation for four. We arrived at about 6:40 PM to find chaos at the reception desk. There was a crowd (perhaps 10 people) trying to get the attention of the hostess who was clearly in panic mode. It took us about 10 minutes before we could get to speak to her. We were then informed that at the moment there was no table for four available. Wait time uncertain. We opted to leave. It was apparent that even if we had been seated that the kitchen was being slammed and service would be very slow. We went to Henry's (a 1 minute drive away) and had a very pleasant dinner. Bottom line: Casalina does not know how to book or stagger reservations. read more

I have been to Casalina two times. Two Saturdays in a row. This last time was a big disappointment! This restaurant needs to step up and be more organized. The service was very slow, and the food a major disappointment. The only thing this restaurant has going, is the ambiance. read more

I was invited to a birthday party at Casalina we were a party of 8. This restaurant is beautiful and and brand new, I heard they just opened a few weeks before I went. I had the choice of an appetizer, entree, dessert and drink. I tried the burrata and octopus carpaccio to start, they were both very light and refreshing dishes. My entree was the chicken Milanesa that was excellend and for dessert they had a strawberry panacotta that was delightful if you like that type of dessert. I also had a classic martini. My cousin suggested that we try Casalina near his home for dinner. We had a great time, the food was amazing, my cousin had pappardelle with bolognese lamb sauce, my wife ordered The eggplant parmigiana and I had the Saltimbocca alla Romana. For dessert I shared a tiramisu with my wife. Our server Emily was super friendly, efficient and professional and she's surely a great asset to their team. Next time we go there we'll ask for her, if she's available. It's a very nice place, but next time we'll ask the hostess to be seated further from the musician, it's not that she wasn't good, she had a beautiful voice, it's just that it was a little loud and we wanted to have a conversation. read more

Went back as we go the first night we get to Boca. Food consistently goos but since becoming Casa Lina the service has become very medicore. Tonight, it took a long time for the server to come take our drink order so we ended up ordering drinks and our food. No bread basket, food was good but the server brought the bill without asking if we wanted coffee or tea. She was packed up and left before we got up. They need to work on their service. read more

I was one of the lucky people that got to go for the friends and family dinner tonight. I must say they did a fabulous job. I had the Bronzino delicious. We also had the chicken Parmesan nice large portion serve with pasta. Also, I had burrata cheese, which was delicious and the salads were good. chicken meatballs were big enough to have as a dinner with a salad The tiramisu was good. We hosted our corporate dinner at Casalina and could not have been happier. The atmosphere was elegant and warm, and the space was perfect for our group. We started with cocktails and then sat down to an incredible Italian dinner. The food was exceptional and the presentation was beautiful. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the team made everything smooth and stress free. Our guests loved the experience and several mentioned they plan to return on their own. I had to be out west (and Casalina is way out west) and Yelp recommended the restaurant and overall it was a positive experience. We had drinks first at the bar but the bartender wasn't engaging so we moved on to food. We tried several items and enjoyed everything with the exception of a lackluster pizza. An eggplant item was very good as was a simple but nicely prepared pasta. A Chicken dish (on special) featured chicken that was tender and better quality than many other local Italian restaurants. Never go on the weekend much too noisy. But ,during the week it was a pleasure. The food is out of this world. I had eggplant parmigiana, delicious. My wife had chicken, it was delicious as well. Parking is tight because of all the restaurants in the same mall. They have outdoor seating (it has air conditioning). The waitresses are friendly and quick to help. 5 stars for management. I made a reservation for 6, and they didn't have it when we got there - and despite being busy, they were able to seat us anyway! We were impressed that they had waiters and separate staff bussing tables. Shortly after being seated, they brought baskets of bread and butter. There were 2 types of olive oil on the table. Salads were fresh and large. My branzino was excellent. I would have preferred more pasta and garlic in the jumbo shrimp oreganata. It was more comfortable and less noisy sitting in their elegant covered patio than in the dining room. read more

We dined at Casalina in Delray Beach on a Saturday night. The service was a bit spotty but acceptable. The ambiance was light and airy, and the outdoor area was beautifully decorated. If they had turned on the fans, it would have provided the missing airflow. We started with the special salami pizza as an appetizer. The crust was airy and yeasty, and the smoked cheese had the perfect pull. The homemade cheese tortellini was served with the ideal ratio of pancetta and peas, and the cream sauce was delicious. The chicken parmesan was not as large a portion as expected, and the sauce was too tangy. Overall, it was decent but not memorable. We appreciated that it was served with linguini. All dishes were well-priced and enjoyable but nothing overwhelming. We will be back though because there is plenty more to try. Parking is easy with a large-sized lot, and the food quality and prices met expectations. read more

I've now tried going to this restaurant a few times before writing a review . As you can see from my other reviews, I only wait till it's bad . The management here shouldn't manage a pizza place never mind a fairly high end restaurant. Soon they will run the place into the ground. There is so much potential. The food is hit or miss. I happened to order a meatloaf which I know was a bad choice. I sent it back and was met by the chef that they would not be removing from the check. I had 2 other guests try it before they made me send it back. I said it tasted 3 days old and he said no this was from yesterday. Why come over and argue about a 1 day old meatloaf. I didn't ask for it to be removed I just didn't want it. Besides that the drinks are strong but not craft, the service is slow, they want you out the door by 9. I wish they would replace this restaurant with one that respects the location and what it has to offer. The manager is rude and really doesn't know what it takes to run a restaurant he just knows how to hustle and fill in the gaps for the staff who he looses each week. This place was good at one time and wished the new owners would change it but when you keep the same poor management you get what you get. read more

Four couples enjoyed our experience immensely. Exceptionally nice large room with uncrowded tables Temperature and noise level were as comfortable as you can find. I never had to say, "Come again, what did you say?" I was wearing a cotton seersucker sport jacket and forgot it was on. Our wait staff was friendly and efficient. We all agreed we would come again. We have been here quite a few enjoyable times, but this , was not at the end of our meal. Our server was now covering probably 3/4s of the tables ,besides sitting people when it started to get busy. Went on NYE, was very happy with experience. Thought food was very good on most things. We started off with the Vongole Oreganata (Baked Clams), which were delicious. My wife had the Lobster Ravioli was delicious. I believe the pasta to be homemade. I had the Veal Marsala which had a very good sauce. My one complaint is that the veal was a little chewy, so overcooked. I thought both portion sizes were good. For dessert, we had the Apple Tart which was amazing. Will definitely be back and want to try more things from their menu. Very large choice variation from the weekly specials too. Service was very good. Laurie was very good, super attentive and great at recommendations. Went for happy hour and had dinner at the bar. Drinks are 1/2 price at the bar only. Selected the veal Marsala for dinner and it was on point. Veal was tender and served on a bed of spinach.
