Instead, we left feeling embarrassed, dismissed and incredibly disappointed. Our party of six was charged a 20% automatic gratuity based on the bill's original amount before a discount, with tax added afterward. When we asked the manager for clarification, he claimed Florida law requires a 20% gratuity for parties of six or more. After seeking legal guidance, we learned that this is not a Florida law. However, what upset us most was not the charge--it was how we were treated. The manager was incredibly rude, tossed gift cards onto our table and walked away without taking the time to listen or explain the charges respectfully. I already felt uncomfortable speaking up, and his behavior made the experience even more humiliating. This is a great restaurant with wonderful food, which makes the situation especially heartbreaking. We came to celebrate someone we love and left feeling completely disrespected. Great food deserves equally great management, and I sincerely hope the restaurant addresses how this situation was handled.

That said, I'm taking off one star because of the way reservations are handled before opening. I typically make a 5:00 PM reservation and arrive a few minutes early (around 4:55 PM), only to find a large crowd of guests waiting outside. This has happened multiple times. In Florida's summer heat, it's uncomfortable and frankly unnecessary to have dozens of customers--many of them elderly--standing outside in 90+ degree weather while waiting for the doors to open. During my most recent visit, people were visibly frustrated, hot, and asking why they couldn't simply wait inside the air-conditioned lobby. The issue seems to be a combination of policy and execution. The host staff often appear surprised when guests are annoyed, but the frustration is entirely predictable. If someone has a reservation and arrives a few minutes early, they should be allowed to wait comfortably inside rather than standing outside in the heat. I genuinely enjoy this restaurant and want to keep coming back, but this is an easily fixable customer experience issue. A simple change to allow guests to wait indoors before seating would go a long way toward improving the overall experience. I hope you take this as a friendly reminder that we want to eat here, we just don't want to boil outside.

I came for a whiskey tasting that was being hosted and decided I definitely needed something to eat. Gary was our waiter and is officially my favorite New Yorker, lol. I came with my coworker, and we shared the Char Stuff Baby Back Ribs, which come with four ribs, and the Tuna Tartare with chips. I had the Little Voodoo drink, while my coworker had the Old G Fashioned. Sadly, I don't live close by, but if you're in Delray, I definitely recommend checking out Warren! Wow- great pizza! Afterwards I had the veal Milanese. Paul had the veal Francese. This was a wonderful dinner and service. This is a fairly new restaurant in town and they are working hard to please. I'm impressed that they even had the entertainment during this summer season when less people are here. But this is what draws in the people. Also, there are lots of round tables for groups which is great for friends and family gatherings.

This is exactly what I wrote to management:…read more I wanted to share some feedback about our visit on Friday, 5/28. We sat at a high-top behind the hostess stand. Our server was also the bartender, and while the service itself was fine, unfortunately the food and overall experience were very disappointing. I ordered the appetizer portion of sausage and broccoli rabe. The dish was overcooked, extremely dry, and had virtually no liquid or sauce. I sent it back, expecting that the kitchen would address the problem. Instead, I was given what appeared to be the exact same dish with liquid simply added to it. Really? The food was already overcooked and dry--adding liquid to the dish does not fix the underlying problem. I found that response particularly disappointing and unacceptable. I then ordered the eggplant rollatini, which was also disappointing. It was heavily overbreaded and simply not very good. There was also an issue with the specials. I overheard another waiter explaining the specials to a different customer, so I asked the hostess whether there were any specials. She said yes. We told her that no one had mentioned them to us. The bartender then came over and went through the specials with us. We explained that it would have been nice to hear about the specials before we ordered, not after we had already placed our order. If specials are being offered, they should be communicated consistently to all customers. I have been a regular customer here for quite some time, which is why I feel compelled to say something. Something has clearly changed, and unfortunately, I feel that the quality of the food has been going downhill. This visit was not just a minor disappointment--the quality of both dishes, the way the first dish was handled when I sent it back, and the lack of communication about the specials all contributed to a very underwhelming experience. At this point, I can honestly say that I will definitely not be coming back. That is very disappointing to say as someone who has been a regular customer, but the quality and overall experience have declined to the point where I no longer feel it is worth returning. I wanted to be direct about this because management should know when a longtime customer has reached that point.

This is special, he is only able to eat after receiving steroids with the chemo dose which allows his tumors to open up enough to get solid food past the obstructions. Explained that he's had the kids portion previously. The bartender rudely replied, "we don't have a chicken breast on the kids menu" and proceeded to curtly list the items on the kids menu insinuating that my husband is a liar and there is no other option aside from "the entree".
