My mom celebrating her 84th birthday
    Suzanna E.

I went to All That Jazz many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I treated my mom and my cousin for my mom's 84 birthday on a Saturday night. We made reservations in advance for a table of 3 in the back of the dining room. The ambience and music were fantastic. The food was excellent. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. We ordered calamari and shrimp and Gorgonzola garlic bread for our appetizers. I ordered a bottle of Meiomi Pinot Noir. We ordered Grandma Ida's shrimp oreganto, seafood trio pasta and a New York strip steak for our meals. My mom and cousin both had root beer floats. We all had tiramisu for dessert and they put a candle in my mom's tiramisu for us to sing happy birthday to her. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful with anything that we needed. Everything was perfect! Thank you very much! I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to relax with live jazz, delicious food and excellent service in a friendly, comfortable, welcoming environment.

This is a great place for quite and intimate dining with that special someone. Restaurant is located inside of the shopping center, but don't let that fool you. Staff is great, the owner of friendly with guests, and the food is delicious. We had the chance to spend new year's evening here, and it was quite fun and the jazz band had everyone on their feet! Great place for dinner and holiday get togethers.

You are in for a treat if you like jazz in an intimate supper club. Last night was special as well. Francisco Dimas on trumpet and Felipe Lamoglia on sax were absolutely incredible, a night to remember. The food was good and the prices reasonable, the portions were ample and the service good too. I had the Jumbalia and my sweetheart had meatballs as an appetizer then Primavera pasta as her main course. She said it was yummy. We were there a total of about three hours and really enjoyed ourselves, I know we'll be back

Really nice and quiet ambience on a Thursday night. The food was actually pretty good and came out fast. The food was very fresh and flavorful, we enjoyed it. The host/ manager was very attentive and was also the one to take our orders; that's always nice to see. We did expect more lively music and there was only one pianist playing instead of a jazz band. Regardless, he was talented and provided great music.

We were able to come here for one of their special Christmas evenings - Dave and everyone we interacted with from the time we reserved our table until the moment we left were incredibly warm and friendly. We absolutely adored the set up and classy ambiance and are looking forward to more evenings spent here!

What a gem of an experience! This family-owned small business is tucked away in a shopping center so close to home. The vibe is incredible, with exceptional tunes that rival the food itself both instantly transport you straight to NOLA. The owners, two delightful brothers, make you feel like part of the family. Such a wonderful find, and I can't wait to go back!

We've been looking for a jazz club to go to for months. Had to travel a ways to find one, but All That Jazz was everything I could have asked for. The Jazz quartet was absolutely fantastic, playing for 4 hours in 3 or 4 sets with maybe 60-90 minutes of total break time. And we were there for almost the whole time, from 6:30-10. The service was top notch, we weren't rushed at all to get our orders in, our waters were never below half full, and the food and drinks came out very quickly after ordering. The food itself exceeded our expectations as well. Everything was great. If I had to nitpick one thing, I'd want more garlic bread with the shrimp and calamari, because man was that bread and sauce to die for. I wish I lived closer to this because I would absolutely be a regular. I love Jazz music and hate that it's not more prolific today. All That Jazz is a beautiful musical oasis in a desert of uneventful dinner choices. They deserve 6 stars at least. Definitely hope to come back.

I love everything about All that Jazz. The decorations, food and music all match the venue perfectly. Upon walking through the doors David will drop what he is doing to come greet you and find you a table. David is the owner but the entire staff do an incredible job in delivering a unique experience that you won't find anywhere else.

Up first we got the "the trio" which is soul rolls, Mac n cheese balls and buffalo wontons. The soul rolls were the size of my thumb and wasn't really worth it for me, the Mac n cheese balls were tasty and flavorful just a little too crunchy, and the buffalo wontons were delicious too. Then we also got jerk wings which were super delicious especially the pineapple salsa on top. We also got the collard green dip which was magnificent! If you ever had longhorns spinach artichoke dip it's very similar but I'd give Gigis a slight edge. Onto our entrees, I got the sweet jerk salmon with Mac n cheese and candied yams. This meal was fire, the salmon was slightly overcooked but the sweet jerk glaze made up for it. The Mac and cheese had a truffle type flavor in it, I personally don't like truffle but regardless it was baked very well and seasoned well. The candied yams were amazing. It was sweet and mashed very well. They also gave a huge piece of cornbread(i think it's whole wheat) with honey drizzle on top and that tasted like home cooking it was delicious. My girlfriend got the soul bird with the same sides. But the chicken wings were fried hard and season well with honey drizzle on top. Then for dessert we tried the sweet potato brownie. My dad loved it but I felt the texture was something I've never had before, it was very tasty but I wouldn't order it again. Overall I recommend coming here

When we first pulled up, the parking lot was nearly empty, and inside there were only a few people scattered around. My companion went straight to the restroom, so I found a seat at the bar. The first thing we were told was that the kitchen was already closed even though it was only 9 PM which was a bit disappointing since I was hungry. Since it's an Irish pub, they mainly serve beer and wine, so I ordered a Guinness followed by a light beer. Despite the slow start, the night turned out to be unexpectedly enjoyable. We ended up meeting some wonderful people from Italy, Poland, and Turkey. It was especially nice connecting with the gentleman from Turkey, as I had traveled there last year, and we had a great conversation about that experience. The same went for the gentleman from Italy. It was refreshing and easy to talk to everyone. Even after closing, we stayed outside for a while continuing our conversations. The atmosphere inside the pub had a classic Irish feel, very reminiscent of my time in Ireland years ago, with signed celebrity photos decorating the walls adding to its charm. Also money from various countries. The lady behind the bar was extremely friendly and attentive throughout the night, constantly checking in and making sure we were taken care of. It's been years since I last visited, but after this experience, I'll definitely be going back soon.

We thought it was outlawed indoors back in the 90's somewhere...who TF wants to go home smelling like an ashtray? I headed to Blue Jean Blues in Fort Lauderdale specifically to check out the Valerie Tyson Band after a local friend highly recommended them. We drove up from Miami and they did not disappoint--they brought all the energy and put on an amazing performance! It happened to be Ms. Annie's birthday, so the band and the crowd were especially lively and fun. The Food (The 1-Star Dock): I'm docking the venue one star because they really need to step up their food game. There were four of us at our table, we all arrived hungry, and unfortunately, none of us were satisfied with our meals. Between us, we ordered the wings, cheese sticks, the chicken quesadilla, and a wedge salad with shrimp. For a venue like this, executing solid, good-quality bar food should be a given. As for my choice, the wedge salad was a total miss--the tomatoes were overly ripe (and not in a good way, I couldn't tell if they were in a strange marinade or just too ripe), and the lettuce wedge lacked appropriate crispness, arriving more like a flat pancake instead of a wedge. Now, I will say, as a self-proclaimed French fry connoisseur, the side of fries we ordered was actually pretty good! (Gotta mix the good with the bad, right?) But the rest of the menu definitely needs some major improvement. Pro-Tip: Be incredibly careful with parking out here and make sure you pay! I saw two different meter maids actively writing tickets while we were there. Don't let an expensive parking ticket ruin a great night of music. Return Factor: I would absolutely come back to Blue Jean Blues to see the Valerie Tyson Band again, especially if I'm staying right here in Fort Lauderdale next time!

Two of us ordered drinks right away and sat at the bar playing video games. The rest of our group was still deciding what they wanted, which we understood fell under the one drink minimum per person rule. One friend sat with us at the bar while we had our drinks and was told by the bartender that she couldn't sit there without purchasing a drink, so she moved. She then stood near our other friends, who were playing an arcade game, and they were told they could not play unless they each bought a drink. At this point, they stood behind us at the bar to look over the menu and decide what they wanted, but that didn't seem to matter. The bartender repeatedly returned and escalated the situation instead of allowing any reasonable time to order, stating they could get water if they wanted and that it did not have to be alcoholic. After only a couple of minutes, the same bartender came out from behind the bar again and said in a rude, condescending tone that they "don't understand... if they don't buy a drink, then they can't even be in the building." Our friends explained that we had already purchased drinks and were simply deciding what we wanted, but at that point, they were turned off by his behavior and no longer wanted anything--and frankly, neither did we. We cashed out our tab, finished our drinks, and left. We were already paying customers and would have ordered more drinks, but the handling of the situation made that impossible. Instead, the business lost not only our additional sales, but also several friends who were planning to join us and spend money. We are local to the area and not teenagers causing a disturbance, which is what the situation felt like when our friends were told to leave for no clear reason. I understand house rules like a one-drink minimum, but there is a professional way to enforce them. This wasn't it. Not everyone can or wants to order immediately--whether due to preferences, pacing, or dietary restrictions--and the lack of flexibility or basic courtesy was disappointing. Instead of encouraging guests to stay and order more, the approach did the opposite. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my impression of the place, and I don't see myself returning. There are other spots in the area with a similar concept that offer a much more welcoming and customer-friendly experience, and I would recommend exploring those instead.
