    Chicken Parmesan Pizza
    Jenna W.

Great wood fire restaurant! We came here on a Sunday night and were seated right away outside. Thankfully they had patio heaters to keep us warm on an usually chilly night. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Pizza and it was delicious! It came out very quickly because the oven is kept at 700 degrees. The chicken was breaded crispy, with a tender meat. It's vodka sauce with bacon was the best part, creating a creamy and sweet tomato flavor. I didn't taste the bacon too much but saw a few diced pieces. On top was, shredded mozzarella, fresh basil, and parmesan for a cheesy bite. It was even better with red pepper flakes sprinkled. There are 6 slices cut into the pizza, so it was very filling and I had leftovers for lunch the next day. Recommend checking this restaurant out, menu is full of plenty of options!

Ate here recently. Pizza, salad etc. Good waiter Anthony. Purple hair. Ring of Sauron. Quick. Good. Smart. Busy place. Lots of seating. Indoors and out. Manager Dennis. Also smart. Quick. Busy keeping an eye on all. Lots of staff. Happy hour discounts as well. Get here.

Stopped here with some friends that have dinner and overall it was pretty good. The muscles and clams were actually delicious. Tried the pizza and it was good, I thought the crust was a little soft but overall not bad. Service was decent, guys serving the food were a little confused but nice. Large outdoor seating area, so it's a nice weather we took advantage of that.

I had the scallops risotto and it was amazing.. just wanted to chew it slowly so it would last longer. Risotto was a bit salty for my taste but lately I've been super sensitive to salt. Either way still a fantastic meal. We had the Arancini appetizer and again, totally out of this world delicious.... Can't wait for leftovers tonight for dinner. Shawn was the best waiter... took care with us answered all our questions. Never wanted for anything. Really appreciate his patience and attention without being in your face. He's a good man.

Great food and service. Sophia was excellent as our server. We were there for happy hour (a nice surprise half off drinks and discounted pizza and apps). Hubby had the eggplant roll up app and did a pizza (I adore wood fired pizza) We left very happy

Went with my friends to try a new spot and liked the food. We decided to share everything and order a couple of our favorite items. Portions are great and food is very good. Our server was very nice and helped us decide most of our food as we were new to the restaurant. Please order the red sangria pitcher! Absolutely amazing

I had lunch here with my mom and brother, I didn't have super high expectations because I feel that they quality of food across restaurants has gone down in general, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the short rib ravioli, it was delicious! The short rib was by far the highlight (only because I'm not a big cheese ravioli fan). The short rib was very flavorful, tender, falling apart, and a little charred - so good. My brother devoured his mushroom risotto and my mom liked her chicken marsala. Our server was Jacob. He was very kind, attentive, and gave great recommendations.

Came here for dinner. Decent ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was good as our waitress came over 6 times to make sure we were ok. Ceaser salad was very good. Buratta appetizer and wings were decent. Wood fired pizza was good. Prices not cheap if you get their Italian dishes. They range in the $29 range. Alcohol not cheap either. Pitcher of Sangria was $34 and a draft beer $9.

Food tastes great. Drinks are way overpriced. Overall bill is way too much for what you are getting. Doubt we will go back.

We were sat at a table near the bar which was great as it was inside and had a nice breeze with the fans and AC. Damien was our server and was wonderful at explaining the menu and the concept of their scratch kitchen. For our drinks we tried the classic and guava-habanero margaritas. We ended up liking the classic more just because the fresh ingredients were reminiscent of those we had in Mexico. It was a little too warm out to be doubling down on spice in our drinks too. We ordered a brisket quesadilla and for our tacos: carnitas, chorizo, and crispy fish. For our second round (not pictured), my husband tried the spicy chicken. He was warned the spicy chicken is exceptionally spicy but he didn't think that warning was warranted so maybe don't be afraid to try it if you're not big on spice. We had tap water that they left a large bottle on the table for. Even though we didn't drink too much of it, they still replaced it with a fresh bottle after a while since it probably got warm. One staff member even came to wipe up the water that had sweat off our drinks. Overall, El Camino exceeded our expectations. All of the staff was kind and courteous and the food was off the chart. And those happy hour prices are hard to beat! We definitely will be back!

On our final Thursday, the restaurant was packed. One server was trying to cover the entire dining room while the manager was juggling the bar, the kitchen, the dining room, and everything else. It was obvious the staff was under tremendous pressure. What disappoints me most isn't that a company chose to enforce its policy. That's their right. What disappoints me is the culture of self-appointed online critics like Scotty D (the D must stand for DICK) who spend a couple of minutes in a restaurant, witness one isolated moment, and suddenly believe they're qualified to pass judgment on an entire business or a person's career. All because of this business didn't honor the free pizza he thought he was due. Running a successful restaurant is one of the hardest businesses there is. It requires balancing staffing, inventory, customer service, food quality, scheduling, promotions, personalities, and countless problems that guests never see. Yet people with little or no understanding of the industry often believe a thirty second video or one frustrating visit gives them enough information to publicly shame someone. It doesn't. Scotty D you should be ashamed of yourself if you look at Scotty D's profile, you can see that he leaves bad reviews for most of the places he goes to. The manager who was fired is a single mother raising three children. Whether taking a quick vape hit behind the bar deserved termination is up to the owners. But turning someone's worst moment into public entertainment says far more about the person posting the video than it does about the employee. Scotty D As for the restaurant itself, the food is consistent neither extraordinary nor terrible. The bigger issue, in my opinion, has always been management and operations. The location has enormous potential, with tens of thousands of cars passing every day, major anchors like Publix and yet simple improvements were overlooked for far too long. After I suggested removing the oversized booths blocking the front windows, they were eventually taken out. 4 months later. The restaurant immediately became more visible and inviting, and business noticeably improved. Sometimes success comes from understanding hospitality, not just following a corporate playbook. I won't be performing there anymore, and I genuinely wish the owners and staff success. But I also hope people think twice before treating Yelp as a weapon. Constructive criticism helps businesses improve. Public shaming based on a few minutes of observation helps no one. Too many online reviewers confuse having an opinion with having expertise, and those are not the same thing. Good luck, Scotty D and Square Peg cause you're gonna need it.

The Ave has grown significantly around it over the years, but it's still one of the staple restaurants in a central location. Overall, it was great meal with good service and nice atmosphere. It's sill one of the gems. We started with the wedge salad and cheesy bread. We wanted to get the Filet Mignon and the Prime Cut Ribeye to share them, but they were out of the Filet which was a bit surprising. Instead, we got the Crispy Chicken Piccata. They were both excellent. The fingerlings and asparagus were good and loved the red wine sauce. The crispy chicken was not too heavy, with lemon and an ample arugula salad. I don't remember the name of desert, but it was a combo of a browny with an Oreo cookie layer (which the kid in me couldn't refuse) with a scoop vanilla ice cream. It was great.

Exactly a week later, I ordered from Bambini's again and this time went to pick it up myself. I asked if I could get the mozzarella sticks credited as I had been told the previous week. I had to wait about 15 minutes for the manager to get off the phone, and then to rudely come up and tell me that he's the only manager here, he has never seen my name and that I need to contact Doordash. Contacting Doordash would have been the correct thing to do on my end initially, but the woman I had spoken to from Bambini's assured me that they could take care of it on their end. Regardless, the manager was very rude, not empathetic at all, and did indeed make me pay for the mozzarella sticks. Given this experience I'll never go back to this restaurant.
