I am extremely disappointed with the service we received. The manager refused to allow my mom and her service dog to sit inside, which was really upsetting. A service dog is supposed to stay with the person it's helping, so being told we couldn't sit inside didn't feel right at all. The manager also told my mom to call 911 if she wasn't happy. Because of this, we didn't even get the chance to try the food. It was especially frustrating since the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. We went out to dinner with friends. They enjoy Sicilian oven so we thought we would we give it a try. The restaurant was nothing special. It was fun when someone was celebrating their birthday and they made a fuss. The music was a little loud and and the place was crowded so talking became an effort. The salad was tasty but way over priced for what we had. We are both pizza snobs, it was so so. We made our own with Ricotta, sausage and meatball. The Ricotta was plentiful and the meatballs were a fair amount. The sausage was sprinkled on and was hard hard to find and taste. If your n Delray or Boca you have to go to this restaurant it's not good ,it's amazing! Ive been here many times and always order the appetizer shrimp Palermo it's incredible. We were a group of 8 here for early Sunday dinner at 5 pm. Reservations are not taken ahead and by 5:15 there was not a seat to be had. The waiting list is long and lots of people are willing to wait. It's unbelievable! But there is a good reason for this....the food is consistently good and the service is quick. The price is also very fair. We were sitting at a hightop table and we ordered for the table. Max was our waiter and he's fantastic. Quite a character I must say...very welcoming and always exuberantly happy and funny. We had their crusty pizza, wings, meatballs, risotto, lasagna, Famous sicilian salad, and chicken panini sandwich. We were well greeted at the door and our party of four was immediately brought to a table. Not seconds later our amazing-happy-smiling waiter, Max greeted us. Max is without a doubt the happiest person I have ever met. Contagious happy. It was a pleasure to have him as our server. We all walked in know that we wanted Pizza and salad. Their menu is so perfect for that as their selections are great. We started off with a salad that we all shared. BTW... Their portions are very generous here. SM Captain for me Traditional cheese pizza with pepperoni, sausage, meatball LG Cheese Pizza for Helene &. Sister Traditional classic cheese pizza with Mushrooms & Pepperoni Helene's sister and brother-in-law were with us and we each had our own large pizza which was easily shareable for two. Both pies had plenty of their respective toppings (they are very generous on the portions). Rich tasty sauce on the wood fired pizza dough made an amazing pizza pie. This New Yorker gives it two thumbs up. Our incredible server Max paid us many visits ensuring that we were happy and wanted for nothing. Kate is sitting in oven again. This is my fifth time in this location in Boynton wow and all I can say is perfection. We order the new hummus with the bread. It was incredible perfect and fresh. Also we ordered the garlic bread. Wow make sure you order two. Of course we order the mozzarella compressor, which is excellent along with the olives, the arugula and the peppers. Now for the food. we ordered the joy these pizza probably the best pizza love the sausage and the cheese also the eggplant Parmesan, which is always one of my favorites. I ordered the Sicilian pasta, which was off the menu because they used to have it and they did it for me with crispy chicken probably one of the best with the pistachio sauce oh my goodness it was so good. I had previously been pleased with my orders from this establishment. That is until I got this pizza with what they are claiming is ricotta cheese. Not only does it not look like ricotta but it tastes like Gorgonzola! I've had their pizza's with ricotta before and they were nothing like this. Once again I had a lovely dinner with friends at Sicilian Oven. They were packed at 5:30 on a Saturday - - I really thought we would beat the rush but I was wrong. The host offered us a seat at the bar if we didn't want to wait so the three of us sat at the corner of the bar. It was perfect! The female bartender (very pretty woman) was exceptionally attentive. We ordered a bottle of wine to share and the other person had a Bloody Mary - -the bartender was great to leave us some time to just relax. We then ordered the wings. If you haven't had them yet - get in the car right now and go try them. I have introduced them to several friends and we all get them every time we eat there. We also ordered a pizza and it was delicious. The only issue I have there is that parking can really be a challenge. The lot is large but there are several popular places in that mall. read more

However, I came here for a graduation dinner and I was very impressed with the quality of the food and how well the staff handled the amount of people. There was at least 40 people to feed and serve and not one complaint. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Constantly asking if we wanted more water, etc. They handled the event very professionally, and did not seem overwhelm. The food served was salad, pasta, and pizza slices. The salad was delicious, the pasta was very tasty, and the pizza was good as well. I wish the slices were a bit bigger, but the taste was still good. For the amount of people present, the food was pretty fresh. I did not know this at the time, but there's extra outdoor seating outside (aside from the general amount of seats available when you look outside, there's an extra space for additional seats if needed). While visiting friends they recommended Sicilian Oven. I had eaten in the one near our home and was not impressed. The pizza was over sauced. Their pizza is still over sauced and a little too sweet for my taste. We started with a large salad with Gorgonzola cheese on the side. They claim this salad will feed four to six people it barely fed the four of us and for $20 I expect more, not worth the money. I ordered a large pizza for me and my wife. We added sausage, meatball and ricotta cheese. The sausage was almost nonexistent the meatballs are OK the ricotta, well is ricotta. This large pizza when compared to Frank Pepe's or our local pizzeria is a medium at best and not worth the $29 we were charged. They also up charged us for the ricotta which was not correctly priced on the menu. If something is listed for $3 then charge $3 not $4.50. After questioning this they charged me the correct amount. The interior is dark and club like with generic artwork on the walls. After our second visit to a Sicilian Oven I will never go back. Too many really good spots to get pizza in my area. Oh and our waitress who was very sweet and attentive never learned math in school, when she needed to add something up she did it on her fingers, oh well! read more

The restaurant was packed late on a Sunday night so we knew that the food would be good. We ordered the Sicilian salad which had so many things that we liked in it. When I was a kid in the 70s I went to a place in Harlem called Patsy's and had first coal-fired pizza and it's been my favorite style since. Patsy's had a split and spun off into Grimaldi's in Brooklyn which I also loved until it became too crowded to get into. After I left NY I was happy to see Grimaldi's open in PBG, but I'm in Delray now. I've tried all the New Haven style places and they're ok, but not quite there for me. Long intro sorry - point is I just tried Sicilian Oven (which they say is wood-fired though I'm not sure what, if any, the difference is in the end result) for Father's Day and I'm as happy as when I had that first bite at Patsy's 50 years ago. My wife and kids and I each ordered our own pies (so we'd have some to take home of course) and NO ONE was unhappy. I ordered the Joey D - meatball and ricotta. Fantastic. Meatballs were great and not overbearing, and the shaved, not sprinkled, parmesan was amazing, with thin slabs the size of the top of my thumb. My wife had the one with chicken cutlets, son had traditional (The Boss) and daughter had Mona Lisa. We all tried them all, and agreed every one of them was fantastic (I'll still stick with meatball/ricotta in the future though - and that's what I'll call it because I've never been a fan of "named" dishes). Downsides: drinks were pricy (but good!) and the music was WAY too loud with speakers over every table. I'm not a complainer, but we couldn't make conversation at a four-top. The waitress was lovely (and by the way the runner was an incredibly sweet and enthusiastic young man) and turned it down quite a bit on request (she agreed that it was out of hand), but someone somewhere turned it back up bit by bit over the course of our lunch. Both amusing and annoying, frankly. But the negatives can't knock out the positives, particularly when they make the best rice balls I've had since I left Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. My favorite in SoFL, surpassing even Grimaldi's (but not my memories of Patsy's...) My star-ratings being contextual within category, Sicilian Oven easily earns 5 stars. read more

Friendly and efficient server Michael could not have done anything more to please us. We were impressed with the quality of our dishes and the reasonable prices. My Popeye lunch pizza (spinach mushrooms, and cheeses) for just $14, and was accompanied by a small salad. It was too much for this hearty eater to finish. It was barely enough for 8 because everybody who had some took very little. The salads at this restaurant are good but for $40 I can make a much larger salad, and my dressing is as good if not better. So in the end maybe this is not unreasonable for a restaurant. We love the Sicilian oven! The food is always delicious. Our favorite is the Sicilian Salad . The pizza' s are great too. Also recommend the eggplant or chicken Parmesan and the pasta with vodka sauce . They have a very good happy hour. Our favorite part about going there at least once a week is the service ! We actually ask for our server Adriana each time. She is sweet , remembers our names and what we typically order. She makes sure that we get our meals quickly and is always checking in. She provides us with excellent customer service and really goes above and beyond even when the restaurant is super busy ! We enjoyed the Sicilian Signature Salad, the Sicilian Stack, and a pizza with fresh tomatoes and spinach. The food was well prepared and we throughly enjoyed every bite. I can't even give them one star. They were rude when we arrived and though we called ahead at 4 pm, when we arrived, they told us they would have a table in minutes. We waited 30 minutes when they told us it would be another30. They kept putting us off When we finally got seated it was another 20 min until someone came to the table.
