Dinner I had the veal osso Bucco. Enormous over a bed of perfectly cooked risotto, a dinner option was A langostino dinner as well. Huge. Paul and I had dinner at Arturo's Friday evening for the first time. It kept coming up on my feed so we decided to try. Gratis valet parking was provided at this stand alone venue. This is a formal type atmosphere where it is recommended to wear business casual attire. It's very lovely inside with crystal chandeliers and sheer curtains. As you walk into the dining area there's a pasta room where you can watch as they make their own pasta. This is very cool as you see the various pasta hanging from strings across the room. This is a white tablecloth and napkin place. Very elegant. Victor was our wonderful waiter. We ordered a cocktail and then a pear and gorgonzola cheese salad to start. I had the delicious salmon which came with a potato and veggies - broccoli and carrots with a lovely lemon butter herb dressing. Paul had a veal francaise which was very tender and flavorful. We also had a plate of capellini. For dessert, we had very hot decaf cappuccino and a ricotta cheesecake to share. It was good but wished it was creamier- less dense. In the background there was live music coming from around the bend in the bar dining room. On my way to the restroom, I noticed a private dining room where a party was having a beautiful dinner. I will definitely return again on a special occasion. The service is elegant. I noticed Victor and others preparing Caesar salad table side and also filleting fish for other guests. We were a party of 19 for my Aunt's 95th birthday. Arturo's worked with us for the menu. We had a plethora of appetizers, pasta and many entrees to chose from. The food was done to perfection. Came for dinner during a busy holiday week. Food- incredible authentic and delicious. First they start you off with a delicious bread, basket and bruschetta. Then we started with baked clams and antipasta both were outrageous. We then moved on and had a veal piccata dish, a snapper with muscle dish and multiple pasta orders. Everything that came out was yummier than the last. We ended with banana foster and some biscotti. Expecting the 'A' team with service as most restaurants know this is a popular time down here in Boca. The captain waiters were incredible And seem to know what they were doing. All the food was really good. We went for my wife's birthday and they had a happy birthday sign put up for her at our corner table -- very nice touch. They were also very accommodating of our toddler despite the fact that it is really not a toddler type of place by design. Everyone was super friendly. It's pretty loud and dark in there but as long as you're okay with that this place is definitely worth a visit. read more

The food is only average but the service is horrible. Entrees took over an hour to arrive for a group of 8 persons. Bruschetta was provided only 4 of the 8 guests, the waiter forgot a salad though reminded twice, 2 orders were incorrect ( belonged to another table). The owner's wife came to the table, should have apologized but instead was nasty. Perhaps this restaurant had new ownership or new management. Beautiful Italian restaurant in Boca. We came for a birthday party and had a party of 12. They had a lovely round table set and a birthday banner. Our waiter. Enzo, was very attentive and professional. We had cocktails and wine from their wide selection. For appetizers we had the table side Caesar salad, burrata with speck, and baked clams. They all were delicious but the clams were my favorite. Small but very tasty. For entrees we had the fresh pasta with truffle. Large portion with lots of truffle. Very flavorful but light. My husband had the pork chop special which he really enjoyed. Everyone enjoyed their wntrees. For dessert we had bananas foster and zabayon made by Enzo table side. The table side Caesar salad was oily, had no flavor. Nothing stuck to the lettuce. It was all in the bottom of the plate. The waiter brought the wrong dish out and when I said that's not what I ordered he said yes you did. The shrimp franchise was flavorless not a hint of lemon. We had to ask for some lemon. It was a smallest little piece of Bronzino for my friend sitting on some soggy potatoes on the bottom, the ambience is lovely there, but the food is so overrated in these yelp reviews. I haven't been in this restaurant for a very long time. A friend suggested it. We should go there to celebrate our birthdays. It was very quiet there Thursday night not many tables taken They do have a piano player and singer play supper club type of atmosphere I ordered the Bronzino, which was delicious came with a little bit of potatoes and vegetable we also had another fish, which was also very good and a chicken dish which was good. The service was very upscale. I was very disappointed that we told him it was our birthday. They put happy birthday on our table, but they didn't bring over any complementary dessert. Guess they're not doing that anymore which is surprising since most of the restaurants when you tell me your birthday, they bring you something complementary, even if it was a cookie with a candle on it or a small bit of ice cream It's an old world type of restaurant pricey restaurant, valet parking. read more

Absolutely loved this place - reminds me of so many old Italian restaurants in Northern NJ - many of which haven't made it through the pandemic (RIP). Anyway, my dad is obsessed with this place, so I knew the service would be great, the food would be top notch, and it would have some charm - all correct. We sat at the bar on a Saturday early evening - and chatted with the bartender Lou, who is such a nice guy - very attentive, knowledgeable, and hospitable. He's friendly and easy going, and knows the bar and his menu like the back of his hand. He was also extremely patient (parents!) Food and drinks came out in a very timely manner. We started with clams casino, and calamari. Both were excellent. I liked how the calamari came with lightly fried shrimp too. For dinner Lou suggested the seafood special (one of a few). We had the Arata fish & scallops which were topped with light breadcrumbs, and came with a side of mashed potatoes and string beans. Loved it! We also split the langoustines which came four to a dish. We had it served over homemade angel hair pasta. They have an extensive wines by the bottle menu & a few half bottles. We went with the staple, Santa Margarita and I had an espresso martini to end the meal. He did not disappoint with the espresso martini, it was fabulous! I was very pleased! read more

The food was OK. Nothing great. Service was certainly less than I would expect at a restaurant with prices like Arturo's. It was about an hour and a quarter before we received our dinner. It was about 45 minutes before we got our appetizer. There were only nine tables filled inside the restaurant and yet service was amazingly slow. At one point during dinner the people at a table next to us left and dirty dishes were left piled on the table. In addition to those dirty dishes, the waiter prepared a Caesar salad for another table and put his used implements and dirty dishes on the table with the others. It was rather disgusting to look at while I was trying to enjoy dinner. This is a rather pricey restaurant and I would expect more attentive service. As for the food, there are a lot of restaurants that have better food. read more

Visiting from Ohio, and yet being mostly well traveled, especially as it pertains to food, a dear fried mentioned, and came with, this as a dinner suggestion. It was beyond spectacular. The respectful ambience was warm, beautiful without pretense, and welcoming: Frankly, everything a restaurant should be. This is fully amplified by the fabulous cuisine. I could just give respect to the dinner alone, but that doesn't give it justice. I felt treated like family which was a joy and one of the top dining experiences of my life. I have flown to certain areas for just a "dining" dynamic but would fly down for a special occasion for this experience again. The food was excellent, portion size was generous but our party of 10 was rudely treated by the owner. We were never told that there was a limit to our party's stay. We were celebrating the 100th birthday of a dear aunt by planning a dinner together. After we finished our dessert and aperitif, we were just beginning to leave when the owner came over to demand that we leave because he had other parties who were waiting for a table of 10. It didn't matter when the waiter was busy "up-selling" us on the overpriced but delectably rich desserts and after dinner drinks. But after our host (who was a neighbor of the restaurant owner) paid the bill of $1400 (tip included) we were then rudely asked to leave. If that type of treatment is alright with you, then this may be the kind of place you would patronize. But I seriously doubt it! read more

I am willing to spend for good food. I thought the food was overpriced for what we got. It was "just okay", but I will go elsewhere for the same meal and better; I won't go back here. There are much better places to eat everything we got in the area for the same price. Also, we were there for a special event and I kept pointing to the person we were celebrating and the waiter hardly spoke to that person, but bantered with me. It made me feel weird and I thought was rude to the person we were celebrating. We had ordered dessert in advance for the event with a candle that did not come, too. And, we ordered two desserts, one which never showed. We got our coffee and were enjoying it and the staff was bussing all the tables around us. I thought they were closed so we left, but apparently they were not. It was just not classy behavior for a classy, high-priced restaurant. read more

Our dinner tab for 7 was about $750 at the end. Most didn't have drinks or apps. The food was decent. Presentation was poor, which normally I don't care about, but when the main course is $50+, maybe pay a little more attention? Portions were normal. In general, way overpriced for what you get. Truffle risotto was $37. You'd think they would grate some truffles in front of you, offer you some parmesan, make it look presentable? Nope. A large industrial white plate of rice with little mixed in black specks. Service, again, for the price, was pretty bad. No one even asked me to refill my hot water... Desserts arrived before the coffee by about 15 minutes. How do you screw that up? But the main irritating part was the wine glasses. I understand you have $1k+ bottles and $15 glasses of wine. But to serve even a $15 glass in a cafeteria-style glass and not crystal? Why would I want to try anything more expensive when I'm essentially drinking it out of a beer stein? That's unacceptable. Again, the food was OK. My scallops had no flavor and were overcooked. The Caesar salad was SO mustard-heavy. Polenta was blah and pretty tasteless. Bread was not great. Eh? The imported buffalo mozzarella was good. Same with the little cured beef. Pesto sauce was my favorite part. I just cannot justify spending this kind of money on this level of food quality, service, and presentation.
