The restaurant is small , the decor is average and the service was exceptional. We had three dishes , a seafood dish that was well an average adventure, the chicken parm was great for one of us and very poorly prepared for the other. My dish was excellent with a great sauce and a perfectly seasoned chicken breast. My friend's chicken was extremely overcooked and close to being burnt. I felt it was very overpriced for the uneven food preparation and the overall ambiance. Not somewhere I'd return. Plus be cautious when reading reviews from people who have only written 1 review ?? I had the lasagne, my daughter (9) had the cacao de pepe, my husband had the bolognese, my son (11) had the shrimp pasta and my friend had the chicken Marsala. Everyone loved their dinner. We also got the antipasto board. It was perfect. They even had perroni 0% so I could drive. I wanted the strawberry shortcake for dessert but we were too full. Great service. They are super friendly. Small kitchen. So you can see the detail in each meal. I love when the staff is actually Italian. The chef even comes out to say hi. Great place. Parking in the back for free but small lot. The service was excellent-- WOW this was like being cheffed up inside this man's HOME. We basically had a private chef, private venue experience with an exclusive/personal menu all cooked to order. (Not 100% sure what the chef's name was but I know it was Giuseppe's father) He took such good care of us and cooked everything from scratch, made to order. Definitely a treat. We ordered a spread of things to share and he hooked us up. I am so astounded that I happened to find this amazing restaurant! Having lived in southern Florida for over 12 years, I must say this was far and away the very best dining experience I've had. I ordered the gnocchi with bolognese sauce and it was absolutely outstanding! The chef (Ines) is from Italy and all of her creations are totally authentic. The gnocchi was made by her loving hands and the bolognese sauce was the best I have ever tasted. Our server Nick was a total delight. I started with Italian Wedding Soup, which was tasty; the surprise was that instead of little meatballs they used a cut up meatball and I didn't like the consistency. Even the desserts are baked by them - the best tiramisu we've ever had!! Nick gave us the restaurant's background so we had a color backdrop of what we were experiencing while being attentive to our (he anticipated) needs. The chef does not speak much English, but her food does the talking for her in an eloquent voice. Meeting "Mamma" (the chef) met with warmth and familiarity.
