Service was phenomenal. The place was busy, but at least 3 different people were constantly asking us to see if we needed anything and filling our glasses. It's amazing how fast the food came as it was delightful. So much food, every dish could have fed two people. The main waiter was very helpful and he suggested not to get two different salads, as he was right. The single chopped salad fed both me and my wife plus some to take home. I challenge anyone to try and leave this place without taking anything home. The live music was fantastic, at first I thought it was just house music and realized it was a very talented musician. I will be coming back next month, when I return to Palm Beach in September, and bringing a friend with me. This is one of my new favorite spots read more

Still, and always will be, my favorite place to dine in Boca. It's the first place both of my boys ask to go when they come into town. It's where we take clients, friends, and family, because you can always count on excellent service and exceptional food. The restaurant is large, but its charm is in its elegant yet intimate setting. I especially like the tables in the back, which are a little quieter. And if you're looking for something a bit more casual, the bar area is always a great choice. As for the food... I can honestly say that everything on the menu is exceptional. I once had a snapper special served piccante style that was absolutely out of this world. Avery and I had a lovely dinner Saturday night. We started with the Sausage and Peppers - real homemade Italian sausages that are a little sweet and spicy, with every bite bursting with flavor. Then we shared the grilled seafood appetizer, one of the evening's specials, and it definitely lived up to the "special" part! Then came my favorite ...the Chicken Parm and, of course, we had to share a cannoli for dessert. There was so much food left over that they wrapped everything up for us, so we get to enjoy it all over again! Still one of my favorite restaurants in Boca, and after all these years, it never gets old and it truly never disappoints. read more

Very good food. Large portions. The banana cream pie for desert is out of this world. A great waitress. Warm and pleasant ambiance. However, the venue is not perfect. The bread was stale and not appetizing. The butter was melted, not refrigerated. Tonight (a Wednesday in August) the tables were at most 25% occupied. Nevertheless noise level intrusive. Why do restaurants which when full are extremely loud feel that they still have to pump in base heavy music? When full I anticipate painful level of ambient noise. On Wednesday evenings during the summer they offer a parmigiana special for $29. We knew about this from their website. Neither the menu nor server informed us about this dish which was excellent. The ala carte menu is very pricey. In the same neighborhood (and price point) I'd prefer either Casa D'Angello or Trattoria Romano. We probably will not return because of the noise level. read more

I must say I stayed away from this place for a long time, but I was hearing good reviews again so I decided to give it a shot. I was happy this time at this restaurant. We went on a Wednesday night and doing the Summer the Wednesday night is king of Parmesan for $29 it was really good. Also had the vegetable plate which I must say was one of the best vegetable plates. I have in a long time the Caesar salad, which was enough for more than two people, and we also had a chopped out which again was enough for more than two people and the chicken v The waitress Lisa L was really nice and helpful. Complementary delicious bread basket, valet parking the ambience was very nice. It was a quiet evening, so it wasn't super noisy. They have a super summer supper Sunday through Thursday between four and six, which I can't wait to try. I'm putting this back on my list of places to go again read more

We have been loving going to Mia Rosebud for happy hour. It's self-seating in the bar area, so we try to get there on the earlier side since it fills up quickly. Happy hour runs from 4 PM to close on Sundays and Mondays, and from 4-7 the rest of the week. They definitely increased the prices since the last time we came, but it was still worth it. We got the bakery pizza, fish & chips, and boneless chicken & waffles off the happy hour menu. Everything was delicious and came with a decent amount of food. The chicken was nice, thin, and crispy. The bakery pizza is huge, we always have leftovers. We were going to order the happy hour crab cake, but our waiter suggested ordering the full-size crab cake instead since it's much larger and comes with a salad. It was so delicious we forgot to take a photo of it LOL. The waiter was great and very attentive. We will definitely be back. They also have nightly deals like Macaroni Monday, which is $19.95 for a pasta dish, and Ladies Night on Thursdays with $5 Tito's martinis and rosé. read more

What a standout dining experience at Mia Rosebud! I have bookmarked Mia RoseBud for a while now and it was one of the suggestions from InKind, so we decided to come here for NYE. As with most places that evening, place was packed. We lucked out and sat at the bar quickly upon arrival. Mia Rosebud delivers the kind of Italian cuisine that feels elevated yet comforting. Two dishes in particular made the evening unforgettable: Lamb Chop Oreganato and Short Rib Polenta. The Lamb Chop Oreganato was beautifully plated, perfectly cooked--ultra-tender, juicy, and infused with a blend of herbs and breadcrumbs that gives the dish the craveability factor. It had the kind of flavor that lingers. This dish was $65 but worth every cent. Generous portion that was so flavorful and tender even when I warmed up my leftovers the following day. The Short Rib Polenta was also quite impressive. The short rib itself was fall-apart tender. Paired with the creamy, velvety polenta, it was the ultimate comfort dish that made my husband's tummy happy. For our sweet ending, we tried the Pistacchio Cake which was good, but I would probably go for the banana cream pie or coconut next time. I would also say the atmosphere and service at Mia Rosebud matched the high quality of the food. Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely loved happy hour at Mia Rosebud! $10 drinks, and we split the chicken parm and a half order of rigatoni alla vodka--both were incredible and the perfect portions for sharing. Amazing flavor, great value, and everything hit. Ciara was fantastic and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. I went to Louie Bossi last week, and honestly the chicken parm and the vibe here were even better. Can't recommend enough read more

Mia Rosebud in downtown Boca is beautifully decorated in warm dark tones. Friendly staff, valet parking, and seating inside and out. They have a fantastic happy hour with a great variety of sliders that are very yummy. The chicken, cheese burger and pork were all very good. The crab cakes were tasty however they were not cooked very well - normally you have a little hard outer crust and soft in middles- these were soft throughout. Good but could have been better. The shrimp is amazing. At first I thought it was a crazy price BUT each shrimp is colossal in size. I recommend checking them out. We enjoy our experience and will be back. read more

I came here to celebrate my birthday, and the night had a mix of highs and lows. My friend grabbed a high-top by the bar, which was a fun spot to sit, but service started off a little slow -- even my Tito's and soda took a while to arrive. We decided to split the caprese salad, and that was definitely a highlight -- fresh, flavorful, and really delicious. After that we ordered a strip steak medium to share. Ironically, hers came out well done, and mine was so pink I had to send it back. It also took a bit of time to track down a waitress to help us. That said, the restaurant redeemed itself with a really thoughtful birthday surprise. The waitress brought out a huge cannoli with a sparkler and they played a Happy Birthday song when she delivered it. It was totally unexpected and such a fun touch that made the night feel special. I wasn't thrilled with the lack of attention from the staff overall, but I did appreciate the birthday moment and the complimentary valet (just tip the valet and you're good to go). I'll likely come back to try their happy hour and give it another shot. (it's a hit pricey so maybe that's a better way to go!) read more

Just stopped in for a quick happy hour cocktail before an event, and I gotta say it started out well. Bellied up to the black & gold marble bar and was immediately greeted by the charming Bri who introduced me to the menu and then made me a mighty tasty Old Fashioned. This place has a great vibe, with muted earth tones and comfortable orange booths sitting on gorgeous wood plank floors, all of it under thick wooden beams, and hanging light rings that never fail to remind you that for all the posh, you're still in a steakhouse. Happy Hour menu has a ton of offerings at prices that can't be beat. read more

Very popular spot and high energy. Happy hour at the indoor/outdoor bar. Ladies night bar on Thursday with daily happy hour offerings. The special offer was Caesar salad and truffle fries. It's early Saturday night in Season in Boca Raton. Downtown is slammed just like this restaurant was. We pull up to the complementary valet parking and stepped up to a nice gentleman trying to upsell me a closer parking spot (usually reserved for High-End cars) for $10. That was a first ! For the record, I declined. Next. On to the Hostess stand where 3 young ladies greeted us. They checked our reservation and promptly escorted us to the quieter back room in a round 2 top. Our waiter took our drink orders. Bread service with Olive Oil & Butter was served while we perused the menu. Food on 1 side and Cocktails & Wine on the other. We started with the ubiquitous Caesar Salad which was enough for 2 ($19). Cold, crisp lettuce with house made croutons, a small slivers of pecorino, romano or parmesan cheese lightly dressed with a touch of anchovy paste. We asked about any specials and actually ordered the Grouper Romana ($62) which was a huge portion enough for 2 dinners. My wife loved it as it had articokes, capers, lemon, etc. I order the waiters favorite pasta, Linguine & Clams which was excellent and one of the best renditions I have had in South Florida in years. Full of cherrystone clams and extra clam meat in a perfect white wine & garlic sauce. ($39) It was a good sized portion as well. The Dessert menu looked good but we passed. I will comment that as an Industry pro I was disappointed in the Italina Wines offered as they had too many of the Grocery store variety (Ruffino, La Marca Prosecco, Santa Margarita PG, etc.) and not enough of the Real Italian Gems like Fonterutoli, Branciai, Poliziano, Casanova di Neri, Donafugata, etc. They did have San Pelligrino water at $9 though ! First time guest... I was impressed. Very Good Food, Very Good Service, No issues. I would recommend this restaurant but beware that it is not inexpensive. read more

I must admit, I didn't know what to expect when I walked into Mia Rosebud Italian Restaurant, but whatever my expectations could have been, Mia Rosebud surpassed it by a mile. Mia Rosebud is an elegant restaurant with intimate settings for those who are celebrating special occasions, but also comfortable for those who go there regularly. We were a large group and there were plenty of space by the bar and the surrounding tables to accommodate us. The service was superb, even when such large crowd can present challenges to the staff. The food was great, they had a nice happy hour menu, but I can't say enough about the professionalism of the staff and everything they did to make our visit enjoyable. read more

First time dining at Mia Rosebud Boca Raton. Have to say we had a very good meal. Risotto with Scallops was a really excellent special this evening. The lamb chops with the lemon butter sauce very good. And a side order of spaghetti with Mariana sauce (not on the menu) was accommodated! Our servers name was Faith and she was delightful and did a very nice job taming care of us and our guests. Really nice decor and a great location. We are familiar and dine often at the Chicago locations. Only one suggestion...the music is just way too loud. Way too loud. Two requests were made and it was taken down in volume twice, and th table next to us complained of the same thing amongst themselves. It was only after a Happy Birthday song that the volume was taken down to a reasonable level. And that was more than one hour into our being seated. I would encourage the management to rethink the volume level and also the choice of music genre. People want to be able to talk and hear the conversation. The food and service was great! And thanks Faith for taking care of us this evening! read more

This is one of our favorite Italian Classics! We love going there for happy hour with great drinks! Highly recommend the chicken Parm with tomato sauce, and also the tallow fries. I need more time to decide on what's going on here. Stopped in to meet someone who wanted to show me how fantastic their Happy Hour was. The crowded crush of people does not appeal to me. The drink aspect is fine, but I'm not very impressed with their HH food, except for their insanely great Shrimp served by the piece. They are very large, not normally seen even in the best steak houses, and were top quality. This alone carried me through some of the other goings on that gave me pause. To serve these shrimp, they have to have a kitchen that knows what they are doing. The restaurant is really nicely laid out and well designed... looks like a polished steakhouse that would fit right in with their Chicago dining scene roots. Seems like they also have some seasoned professionals working in the dining room... I like that. I'm more interested in the promise of the main dining room. So, I'll wait to give a full report on Mia Rosebud in the coming weeks. read more

Paul and I had a lovely dinner together on Saturday evening at Mia Rosebud. I was smart this time to request an outside table because it was quieter. The place is extremely crowded and the live music was loud. Sandy was our waitress. She was adoreable and did her best waiting on us. She was extremely busy so we did have to wait longer than normal for our drinks. However, our dinner was scrumptious. We started with a seafood salad with a nice variety of fish in a lemon vinaigrette dressing. Afterwards, we had the 24 oz. ribeye for two - cooked to perfection. We ordered two sides-the loaded baked potato and the roasted broccoli and spinach- both were very generous portions. I didn't want the evening to end since it was so relaxing so we ordered coffee and the most delicious banana cream pie. We now have another meal to eat from our doggy bag. The venue offers gratis valet parking- this is a change from the last time we came. Also they are part of the InKind application which pays you back 20% of your check as long as you pay through the application. I actually found this fine restaurant via inKind. read more

Mia Rosebud fills every square on my bingo card -- Presentation, Taste, Menu, Service, Ambiance and Value. With experienced NYC and Chicago fine-dining waiters guiding the waitstaff, they anticipated questions and were always-on with service. Management made good decisions about staff to diner ratios, having the right help waiting quietly nearby to make sure your glasses are filled and extra attention is given. The menu is classic Italian steakhouse with a sophisticated array of fish, pasta, steaks and seafood. We really enjoyed our meals and the portions were generous -- an important plus. After enjoying happy hour here a few months ago, I decided to return with my parents for dinner. Very energetic vibe and dark/upscale decor. Lisa our server was very friendly and attentive. Her assistants were on top of things as well. Started with the fried calamari diavolo which was very tender and the marinara sauce was very flavorful. Chicken Parmesan was a tremendous portion and we could've actually shared one! Eggplant parm was flavorful as well. We got a side order of the rosebud square noodles which had a nice flavor and the ricotta added creamy richness. We were too full for dessert - but it seemed like there were some nice selections. When I got home, I noticed the calamari was wrongly rung up on my bill AND I was overcharged and also subjected to a $1 fee for marinara sauce. I didn't even order extra marinara! At a high end restaurant to get hit with a fee for marinara sauce which comes standard with calamari at 99.9995% of restaurants? Just can't stand to be nickeled and dimed at a high caliber restaurant - so bush league. It's a shame because I'd definitely come back and Mia Rosebud is worthy of 5 stars but I just couldn't rate it with that faux pas. Future guests should be aware to check their bill line by line. read more

Beautiful and a throwback of the past. Interior vibe is considered classy by my standards :o . Their 'Piazza Alfresco' area is covered with ample table seating plus stools facing the interior bar as well. The staff is welcoming and certainly on their game. We were a group of 20+ that spend the evening in the bar mingling and enjoying the offerings in this establishment. On a Monday night, Pasta Night - all half off. Yay! I had the Clams with linguine, very well done. A+ HH menu offers sliders and their very jumbo shrimp - by the piece. HH offerings on Sun and Mon goes all night. Bar wines very acceptable. Worth sauntering over for a try. Valet parking and street parking. Bonus - they are on the InKind app so you can pay thru it and get some $ towards another meal, here or elsewhere. read more

This is a nice spot. Our server, a trim man with neatly cut silver hair was Efficient and well informed. When I made the booking I inquired about beef carpaccio like I had had in Chicago. But upon ordering they were unable to make it. Ditto with the porcini risotto. On the menu but evidently not available for the past several months. The tomatoes and burratta was good. The burratta more than the tomatoes. Why in high season in Florida can't Restaurants get great tomatoes?? Also had veal Milanese- too thick and not crispy enough. Yes I am comparing to Milan. Had a pasta Bolognese- ok but I expect more cream/milk richness. We split everything. Portions huge. Will have to think about going back. read more

Solid Italian eatery with indoor and outdoor dining, knowledgeable service, and fresh ingredients. While there are plenty of Italian dining options in the area, some of which are better than this spot, Mia Rosebud's stacks up nicely with a comfortable environment and excellent food. The eggplant Parmesan was some of the best that I've had in the area, with layer upon layer of thinly sliced eggplant baked in the oven. The linguine with clams was served al dente, perfectly cooked, with whole clams as well as a large portion of chopped clams in the pasta. While I've had better meatballs in the meatball salad, and the greens were a bit overdressed, the selection of appetizers was also super solid. Overall, solid, four star dining experience. read more

First of all, this restaurant is really beautiful. They have done a great job of giving it an elegant feel. The service felt very upscale. Parking is tough. We managed to get a spot on the side of the building but it was pure luck. There is a parking garage for overflow. I met my friend for Happy Hour. I ordered a margarita with a slider, shrimp cocktail and some oysters. It was a bit of an eclectic mix but I this is what I was in the mood for. The best thing was the margarita. I enjoyed it a lit and I would say it had the right amount of tequila. The burger was fair. It didn't have enough flavor. The shrimp was good and the oyster was not. It tasted off to me so naturally I stopped eating it. The bar gets very busy so it is best to get there at the beginning of Happy Hour. I might give them another try to order some actual Italian food but I am in no rush for it. read more

I know Rosebud's brick chicken from Chicago and was eager to try this dish in Boca Raton. I ordered carryout along with a cheese ravioli dinner. Pickup was relatively easy as valet allowed me to park in a designated valet area just to run in and pick it up. I was quickly greeted at the entrance and it only took a few minutes to pay and get my food. I must commend the carryout team as my food was tightly wrapped in saran wrap that eliminated any sauce leaking. The brick chicken was delicious but seemed smaller than I remembered. It also came with three slim pieces of broccolini. The price of the meal was exorbitant for being chicken. The ravioli was fine with a red sauce. I asked if there was a kids menu but they said no. So, for now we won't be returning. read more

Located on Palmetto Park Road, a block off Federal Highway, Mia Rosebud is a fun-loving, bustling Italian joint serving big platters of Italian American fare with very attractive customers. The soundtrack played was a medley of Crooners and pop; You'll be singing through your meal. More Matteo's than Louie Bossie, Mia Rosebud has their own Chicago thing going on here. Clearly, the owners went to town with the decor and renovations of this space, which had been empty for what seemed like forever. Large booths can accommodate large parties. A big bar has outdoor seating for those who want to dine al fresco. There is no shortage of well-trained staff to help you pick out your meal. Start with a cocktail or a glass of wine and settle in for a great meal. Bread is served complimentary with chunks of provolone cheese. We were a party of four who remained at the bar to eat because we had that good corner area where you could talk to another couple. We shared a chopped salad with their homemade Italian dressing, rigatoni with vodka sauce, and chicken parmesan. Another outstanding dish was a shrimp appetizer served on a garlicky crostini with lemon and sweet pea sauce. On another day, I'd eat this as my main dish. We needed more of their warm, delicious bread to sop up every last morsel of sauce. Don't forget to order their baked clams or pot of mussels; you'll need that extra bread for those dishes, too. Don't be surprised if you want to lick the plate. Mia Rose cooks homestyle, simple, stream-lined restaurant dishes--the kind you go back for, the food you remember. Well done, Mia Rosebud! We hope you stick around for a long time. read more

The pros? It's a beautiful space. Dark, sexy, modern. They play good music. The service was... okay. The food was absolutely horrible, though. The Caesar salad was wildly overdressed and soggy. Two people at our table got steaks that had absolutely no flavor at all. I tried one and it tasted like dry, flavorless banquet food. The veal parm I had was incredibly chewy and bland. I couldn't eat it. My partner got the pappardelle, which was so overcooked that it was basically a bowl of mush. The sauce accompanying it was akin to a can of pasta you'd get at the grocery store. Yes, a can. Considering how pricey the food items are... this was a frankly horrible experience. But at least we got to experience such terrible food in a pretty space!!! read more
