    Lamb with pistachio cream sauce

While visiting friends in Florida and researching Italian restaurants I came upon this amazing Sicilian gem. We were greeted by Logan who was accommodating, friendly and so much fun throughout the meal. Chef David came to our table several times and he was just a pleasure to speak to about his journey. Vaclav was our server and he was terrific!!! Now to the food, just wow!! We started with bruschetta and fritto misto which was so light and not greasy. I tried everyone's entree and each one was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. We had the rigatoni with eggplant, meatballs, basil, tomatoes and ricotta salata, involtini, lamb with pistachio cream sauce and swordfish with capers, olives, tomatoes and anchovy paste. Each one was better than the next. For dessert we had cannoli and cheesecake, both so good. You can tell everything is fresh and cooked with love. The restaurant is small, quaint and comfy. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Well worth the drive! We went to Savia this weekend and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and very authentic. The wait staff were warm and welcoming. The restaurant itself is small, but beautifully decorated. We'll definitely be back.

Back again last week and brought my mom who is Italian and picky. There was not a drop of food or sauce left on the plates. Everything from bread to tiramisu was sensory delight and absolute perfection. Our server Vinny, who has delighted us before was funny and knowledgeable about wines and suggestions for each of us regarding entrees and sides. Chef David came out to say hello and check on our food. He is always up for a quick convo about culture and food and a talented restauranteur. **** get the gnocchi!!!!

Great new authentic Sicilian restaurant in Boca. Owner chef that knows how to make his customer feel welcome and more importantly cook. many fresh quality imported ingredients from Sicily, simple recipes and lots of delicious flavor. We tried the rigatoni alla nonna and the stuffed sepia(calamari). Both outstanding! The deserts look delicious although I had no room for desert. the place got crowed quick so the word is getting out!

Saw some write ups on this restaurant on yelp it's new in the area probably three months old so we decided to give it a try and we're really glad we did. It was a Wednesday night which means it wasn't as crowded as when the weekend so we had the restaurant pretty much to ourselves, which was lovely quiet intimate Restaurant like the kind you go to the cafés in Italy when you have family owned businesses this was family owned by the chef. We had the chicken Parmesan, which was the largest piece I've seen in a long time came with a side of pasta delicious also the swordfish pasta, which was delicious Tomato salad with onions, which we all enjoyed very much Bronzino with some seafood, ricotta, cheesecake, and berries, and cream and a bottle of wine. It was a lovely evening. They have a TV screen one where you can watch Sicily go by as you're eating dinner parking is in a parking lot. They have a few outdoor tables the waitress Sophia was lovely. She was a good waitress. She was efficient. She was knowledgeable. The owner and chef David came over to the table. Making sure that we were all happy. This is a place that's going to be very hard to get in as soon as this word gets out so make your reservations and enjoy dinner as good as it gets in the United States and taste just like you're in Sicily

We had the pleasure of dining at Savia a few months ago when my parents and brother were visiting, and I've been meaning to leave this review ever since. My dad is from Sicily, and meeting David - the owner and chef - felt like being welcomed by family. He made us feel completely at home with his warm hospitality. Every dish at our table was absolutely delicious, and you can truly taste the passion and authenticity in every bite. Savia is a hidden gem and a must-visit if you're looking for an unforgettable Italian meal in Boca. Thank you, David!

As we approached the hidden entrance tucked under a portico, I noticed it was right next to a Jersey Mikes entrance which gave me pause for a second. We had a reservation and were greeted by an extremely pleasant woman who turned out to be our waitress as well. The interior is tight, only about 7-8 tables, a bar and a small kitchen. After speaking with our lovely waitress, we ordered and the food was delivered in courses which was nice for a change. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared and delicious. It turns out the single person in the kitchen is the owner. He hand prepares every dish and accompaniment. Great food, great service and the staff were all very pleasant. A great dining experience- we will be back.

Before I talk about the food I want to say that the young lady that was the bartender and server was so friendly and gave great suggestions. The restaurant is small, however it is beautiful inside and does offer outdoor seating as well. Now for the food. They bring out fresh hot rolls with a small plate of cheese pesto and balsamic drizzle. Outstanding!!!!! We came to find out the owner who is the chef, his wife is a pastry chef and makes the bread and desserts. To start we had the Spanish chargrilled octopus. I know I have said this before about other restaurants, but I can truly say hands-down. This was the freshest, most tender, and one of the most flavorful grilled octopus that we have had. It came with a mixture of capers, potatoes, and vegetables in an amazing sauce. Truly fantastic. For dinner, my wife had the blackened yellowtail snapper in curry sauce, and I had the shellfish pan roast. Both were one of a kind dishes. We have never had such great flavor and seafood. Not to mention the amount of food that they put out and the presentation is worthy of awards. My wife's blacked snapper was cooked perfectly had a light blackened coating, and the curry sauce was tremendous. My shellfish were super fresh. Again cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. The sauce they were in was amazing. For dessert, we tried their homemade Keylime pie, and this too was top-notch and made fresh. We are planning our next trip to this restaurant and if you actually want a true fine, dining seafood experience you have to try this spot. I'm going to say it is priced accordingly for the true quality of food, the amount you are served and the presentation. If you are looking for a fried shrimp basket or fish and chips, this is not the type of restaurant for you. This is upscale seafood, and a true upscale seafood experience. You might want to consider making reservations as they do get busy and as I mentioned earlier, it is a small restaurant.

Our family tried a variety of dishes, starting with the Jalea, a fried seafood platter. While the portion was smaller than what you typically find at other Peruvian restaurants, the seafood was fresh. I just wish there had been more calamari, fish, shrimp, and fried yucca. We also ordered the Chicken (Pollo) Chaufa and the Seafood Chaufa. Both dishes came in small portions, and the seafood was only placed on top of the rice. Sadly, they lacked the distinctive Chaufa flavor and tasted a bit bland. The Lomo Saltado beef was tender but similarly lacked seasoning, and the Ají Amarillo was just okay. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. It seems the food might have been adjusted to cater to a more traditional or less adventurous palate. Peruvian cuisine is renowned for its rich flavors and Asian influences, and I believe it has the potential to be truly exceptional.

The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning, with a beautifully designed interior that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time, enjoying the ambience as much as the food. It was also nice to see the manager making the rounds, stopping by our table a couple of times to ensure everything was to our liking--this attention to detail really added to the overall experience. As for the food, it was good overall, with a variety of flavors and dishes to choose from. However, I have to mention that the calamari was my least favorite dish. While it was decent, it didn't quite stand out as much as I had hoped. In summary, Serena Pastifico offers a beautiful setting, attentive service, and a solid menu, despite a few minor misses. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning to try more of their offerings!

Two main stations, the highlights for me were the sautéed mushrooms, lemon ricotta French toast, chicken and waffles, eggs frittata, penne bolognese, prime rib, Italian salad, gamberi in a light vinaigrette, panna cotta and tiramisu!! Cons were that I had to call the restaurant to book a larger party and I could never get anyone to answer. I left a message and it took a week for someone to call me back. I think the food location could flow a bit better...danishes and breads were on one side, while eggs were across the way on the other side of the restaurant. The penne Bolognese needed some extra sauce on the side as it was a bit dry in the chaffing dish. My least favorites were the chicken piccata which did not appear to have any sauce no capers at all, over limp gummy angel hair pasta They did not offer any horseradish cream for the prime rib, I asked one of the servers if he'd check with the bar as they usually have it for Bloody Marys ...he never bothered to come back. My husband has to get up and returned with some horseradish for the table. The prime rib was not a great cut cooked more to a medium even in the middle, and a tad chewy. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and selection...I hope they can improve on some of the issues, it would totally elevate our experience.
