Cielito Artisan Pops at Mizner Park is our family's favorite ice cream spot. We've been coming here for a while, and the kids absolutely love it. The shop itself is beautiful inside -- there's fun ice cream wall art, shelves with adorable handmade plush toys, and everything feels bright and creative. Their popsicles come in so many flavors, including lactose-free options, and each one is decorated so beautifully it feels like edible art. They even have pops for dogs, which is such a cute touch. Recently they added another display with handmade chocolates and beautifully painted sweets, which makes the place feel even more special. They also serve coffee, and I really appreciate the little thoughtful details -- like the large glass water dispenser where you can help yourself to water after ice cream, with cups and napkins always ready. There's also a restroom to wash hands, which is so convenient when visiting with kids. Such a charming little place with so much attention to detail. You have a choice of either fruity/sorbet pops such as passion fruit w brigadeiro, watermelon OR ice cream pops made with fresh and hormone-free cow's milk with flavors such as hazelnut, pistachio or banana w dulce de leche. I opted for a hazelnut pop and it was sooo good with a few hazelnuts at the bottom. I believe you can add up to 3 toppings and chocolate sauce (extra). You can tell everything is handcrafted, not mass‑produced. Per the website - no artificial flavors or colors, no additives/preservatives and no high fructose corn syrups. Friendly staff and they're happy to walk you through the flavors, offer suggestions, and make you feel welcome whether you're a regular or just discovering the place. Cielito isn't just a dessert stop -- it's a little moment of joy. A perfect treat after the beach, a stroll around Mizner, or simply because you want something beautiful and delicious. Delicious! Genuinely great. We had: Nutella popsicle with dark chocolate. Graham dust, and waffle chips; strawberry popsicle with dark chicolate, almonds, and chocolate chips; and mint chip popsicle with white chocolate and sliced almonds, mint chips, and ground peanuts. The person working there was also really friendly, greeting everyone immediately and offering to answer questions. Yummy artesian popsicles, fairly priced for mizner park; mini pops are $4 and they have a special that included a mini pop in a shot of expresso for $7! So yummy and the chocolate pop in the expresso was so smooth and made the coffee so flavorful. Staff is friendly and attentive and patient because they do have many many choices. The space is beautifully decorated too, they have these Woolly animal toys and they are for sale but I noticed they don't mind if kids play with them while they wait. Cielito Artisan Pops is a cool little popsicle shop in Mizner. Service is good, staff is friendly. Parking is metered, hard to find and usually a nightmare. They offer a nice little twist on the classic popsicle with their all-natural, handcrafted offerings which come in variety of flavor configurations that you don't see anywhere else. Avocado, cucumber raspberry mojito and guava and cheese are a few that come to kind. No matter what popsicle you choose, you have the option to enhance popsicles with toppings and white or milk chocolate baths to add a little bit of indulgence. The popsicles themselves are undeniably delicious, and are clearly made with bold flavor and visual appeal in mind. It's light years better than any typical ice cream place in the area. However, the exceptional taste comes with a shocking price tag. During my recent visit with my three kids, the total cost came close to $40, which is insanely high for 4 popsicles, artisan and cool or not. The balance between the exceptional quality of the popsicles and their relatively high cost leaves me torn about whether the experience is five stars or not. In the end I have to go with four stars. Cielito Artisan Pops opened its second location in the summer of 2020 in Mizner Park. Their original location is in Wynwood. According to their website " Cielito offers hand crafted high-end frozen treats, that might have the shape of a popsicle, but they are something else". They have a fanciful and unique selection of popsicles for people and even their pups too. The pops do not contain preservatives, GMO's, artificial flavors or colors, or high fructose corn syrup. My friend and I cane over for a sweet something after dinner in the plaza on St. Patrick's Day. I knew this was my kind of place the moment I walked in the door. A huge refrigerator case showcased popsicles in every hue and flavor. They have dozens of flavor daily, including seasonal flavors and vegan options. Some of the unusual flavors for sale were tamarind, hibiscus flower, and salted caramel with crushed pretzels. They also had adorable mermaid and unicorn pops. Once you pick your flavor from fruit, caramel, chocolate, and vanilla options, you can add a dip, and up to three toppings. A basic pop is $5.50, a filled or special pop is $6.50, a chocolate bath is $1.20, and toppings are 70 cents. It is easy to get to a $10 pop. They are expensive but everything is high quality. Once your creation is crafted it is presented to you in a gold lined box. I ordered the milk caramel with homemade brownie chunks ($6.50). At the bottom of the description they let you know if they think you should dip it or not. They recommend serving this pop dipped in chocolate. It was my first visit and I really wanted to taste the flavor of the pops without all of the dips and toppings. The flavor of the pop was outstanding on its own but I would definitely be open to jazzing it up during future visits. I was impressed that my pop didn't drip throughout the entire time I was eating it. In addition to pops, Cielito also also serves coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The store is decorated with shelves of beautiful artisan made crafts that you can purchase. Items for sale included stuffed animals, candles, pins, stools, and popsicle wall art. Speaking of popsicle wall art, my favorite was the popsicle with the banana duck taped to it. It was a homage to the time an artist duck tapped a banana to the wall at Art Basel and tried to charge $120,000 for it until another artist came by and ripped it off the wall and ate it. I adored my visit to Cielito. This place was made for Instagram. Delicious pops are served in a cool and artsy setting. Everyone working here was so nice too. I'll definitely be back. read more
